"Sakura-san, someone is asking for you. Should I let her in?" the hospital's receptionist called her in her office.
"Sure, just let her in." Sakura answered. Then continuously read a case file of her patient.
When Sakura heard the door opened, she just instructed the person to enter without looking up, she made a note in a sticky note and attached it to the file that she's reading.
She smiled before she looked up, but the smile was ultimately wiped from her face and she narrowed her eyes to her visitor.
"What are you doing here?" She asked in a cold voice.
"Sakura-chan." Takahashi Akkari greeted her. "I just came to let you know that Kakashi talked to me earlier. About your... conditions." She said while running her finger on the stone tablet that bore Sakura's married name that rested on the table.
"You're unbelievable." Sakura huffed in annoyance. "You really have the audacity to show your face in front on me, Akkari?"
"Well, why not, Sakura-chan? It looks like we have the same taste in men."
Sakura's annoyance deepened as Akkari casually mentioned their shared interest in Kakashi. She wasn't in the mood for Akkari's taunts or games.
"Akkari, I'm warning you," Sakura said, her voice filled with a sharp edge. "Stay away from my husband, my life, and my business. I don't want to see your face again."
Akkari smirked, her tone dripping with condescension. "Oh, Sakura-chan, it's cute that you think you can just order me around. But you should know, Kakashi and I have history, and he's not as committed to you as you might think."
Sakura's patience was rapidly diminishing, and she couldn't hold back her anger any longer. She clenched her fists and took a step closer to Akkari, her voice low and dangerous.
"I don't care about your history," Sakura said, her tone laced with steel. "And I don't care about what you and Kakashi had. In reality, you are just a trash chasing after my husband. And remember this Takahashi, whatever you do, I am a Hatake, I am the wife."
"You really are cute, Sakura-chan." Akkari chuckled smugly. "Do you really think, Kakashi-taichou is someone you can hold back just because of that ring on your finger?"
Sakura's patience that is already thin is tested by the smug look by the ANBU. She looked at her like she's something that got stuck in her shoe. "Maybe not. He did touch you, right?" she asked her. "But let me tell you one thing, Akkari, I didn't train under Tsunade-shishou and the Copy Nin, Kakashi - himself - for nothing. I didn't slave away in training just so a pathetic ANBU ROOT can undermine what is mine. So if you want to still be able to serve ANBU, stay away from us, or I'll make sure you regret it."
Akkari didn't like the tone and the stare that the pink-hair is giving her. Its as if she is some lowly genin that she can just trampled on. She took out a senbon from her waist bag. A movement that didn't escape Sakura's eyes. And in a flash, Sakura's hand is gripping Akkari's wrist putting pressure so that she'll drop it off. Then shoved the girl in the wall, their faces inches apart. Her voice was sharp and filled with contained anger as she spoke.
"And listen to me carefully, Akkari," Sakura hissed. "That cheap trick that you are trying to pull is not going to work on me. You don't know who you are trying to fight." Sakura's chakra laced finger dig itself on the woman's wrist, earning her a pained whimper from the ANBU. "Kakashi and I have been through hell and back. You will not jeopardize what we have left. I didn't fight for what we have now just for you to ruin it. You're just a mistake in his past, and I won't allow you to become a part of our future. Stay away from us."
Akkari's pained expression began to morph into fear as Sakura's fierce determination and unwavering resolve became apparent. ANBU are specialized group of ninjas that knows not to feel, but there is something scary about a woman who tries her best to keep her family together. She realized that Sakura was not someone to be trifled with, and that her presence could only bring further trouble.
Sakura released her grip on Akkari and took a step back, her eyes locked onto the other woman's. "Do I make myself clear?"
Akkari nodded, the confidence that had previously radiated from her diminishing under Sakura's unwavering gaze. "Crystal clear," she responded, her voice less taunting and more subdued.
Satisfied with Akkari's response, Sakura let her go and took a step back, the tension in the room slowly dissipating. She didn't want any more drama or interference in her relationship with Kakashi.
With a final, firm look at Akkari, Sakura turned and walked back to her desk, focusing on her work once more. Akkari silently left the office, realizing that she had met her match in Sakura's unwavering determination to protect what was hers.
Sakura heard her office door opened and closed, but she doesn't care. She made her point. Now, if Akkari is stupid enough to cross her one more time, then she'll just make sure that she knows, she's not someone she can easily walk over.
"Well, Sakura." An overly familiar voice rang out from behind her. "You don't have to scare my ANBU like that." Tsunade mockingly admonished, as she entered her office from the window.
Sakura's irritation flared up as she turned to see Tsunade, the Hokage herself, casually entering her office through the window. She couldn't help but shake her head in disbelief at her mentor's unconventional entrance.
"Tsunade-sama, you know I don't like it when you do that," Sakura said, though her tone was more resigned than angry. "And I didn't intend to scare anyone. I was just making sure Takahashi Akkari understood her boundaries and stop chasing after Kakashi. She's the one who came in here looking for a fight. It's not my fault that she can't handle it."
Tsunade chuckled as she strolled further into Sakura's office. "I know, I know, Sakura. But sometimes, these ANBU operatives need a good scare to keep them in check. And trust me, if Akkari crosses you again, she's in for a world of trouble."
Sakura sighed and leaned back in her chair, her annoyance dissipating as she realized Tsunade's support. "I just want all this drama to end. I don't want to deal with Akkari or anyone else interfering in my life. I just want a peaceful and happy marriage with my husband."
Tsunade took a seat across from Sakura and regarded her with a more serious expression. "Sakura, I can see how much you love Kakashi and how much you're willing to fight for your marriage. Just remember, ANBU operatives like Akkari can be persistent. You need to stay strong and unwavering in protecting what's yours."
Sakura sighed. "Well, this would not have happened if Kakashi knows how to keep his pants on." But a determined look was back in her eyes. "But I fought too much for us just to let that girl ruin it, I almost did let her win. But no, not anymore."
Tsunade nodded in agreement. "You're right, Sakura, but people make mistakes. Kakashi seems sincere in his desire to make amends. Just make sure you both keep working on your relationship. And if anyone tries to disrupt it, don't hesitate to take a stand."
Sakura smiled and nodded. "Thank you, Tsunade-sama. I'll do my best to protect what we have."
Tsunade returned the smile and stood up, preparing to leave the office. "I know you will, Sakura. And if you ever need my help or advice, don't hesitate to ask. Now, get back to your work, and I'll deal with the ANBU on my end."
With those words, Tsunade left Sakura's office through the window as casually as she had entered. Sakura turned her attention back to her work, determined to move forward and focus on rebuilding her marriage with Kakashi, free from the interference of anyone who might seek to disrupt it.
