I don't own anything from Percy Jackson & the Olympians or Dragon Ball Z.

(1st Person Perspective) (Oliver)

Shuffling on the hard and uncomfortable surface below me, I struggled to get up. A terrible headache accompanying me when I awoke. Getting up I find nothingness surrounding me. I look around the abyss and wonder if I was dead.

"Hello boy!"

The sudden gesture shocked me. I looked at the direction the voice came from. A person in a veil of shadows waved at me. They're shadow having a weird shape, and two weird pointy strings on top of what I presumed as its head. Their friendly and chipper voice made you warm up to them.

"Hmm, manners aren't that great but I had worse." Said the shadowed figure seeming to be rubbing its chin.

"Umm. Hi? May I ask who you may be?" I ask trying to be as polite to the shadow figure fearing on what their intention was with me.

"No need to fear boy! I am not going to harm you, as for my name. You will find out soon! If you are worthy that is. If not, this will be our last meeting."

Confused, I ask "What do you mean if I'm worthy?"

"Well you see boy I've been watching you ever since you awakened that power of yours. Caught my attention quiet quickly, hahahaha! But with all that I want to teach you how to use your power. I can tell you only want to help those in need. But before I train you, you will need to prove yourself by completing some basic tasks for me!"

"Watching? Wait you were stalking me?!?"

I can see the shadowed figures body expression drop as I said that.

"Well, I wasn't stalking you I was merely just observing you."

"That doesn't change the fact that you were watching me without my permission."

"I was watching you with a purpose!"

"That's still creep-"

"ENOUGH!! QUIET DOWN BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND ON TESTING YOU!"

Before I knew it there was a bruise on the top of my head. Making me cover it.

"Ow~"

"Hmph, now that your finally quiet I can go over what I need you to do to prove yourself to me that you are worthy of my training. First! You need to gain some stamina and muscle, bulking up will increase your endurance, which can benefit you in many ways in the future. Secondly! I need you to practice surrounding your Ki around your body. Doing that will allow you to strengthen your body with your Ki. And for your final task! Tell me a good and funny joke!" The shadowy figure laughs and says.

"The final task is the hardest because I don't crack easily from any mere joke!"

I looked at the shadowy figure sweat dropping at the last comment.

"I'll give you some time on making the best joke you can cause you will clearly need it." The shadowy figure laughs again.

"So I just do the tasks here?" I look around the vast darkness.

"Of course not! You will do that when you wake up!"

I look over to the figure and notice that they were gone, at that moment my head started to get all foggy. Like I was about to fall asleep again, I collapse on the floor and closed my eyes.

(1st Person Perspective) Oleander

It's been a week since we arrived to Camp-Half Blood I realized from the information that Chiron gave me that normally humans weren't even able to find Camp-Half Blood but with him following me he was able to go through the mist. The first couple of days were hell for me. Getting a "warm" welcome from the Ares cabin and sleeping with in the Hermes cabin. My mom claimed me after four days. A boy and a satyr arrived at the hill with the massive tree in the same night, apparently the boy killed a Minotaur when arriving here. And that his mother died while trying to escape the bull. I couldn't bear the thought of Oliver dying to the hellhounds because I was too late.

On that thought I decided to visit the infirmary to see if Oliver woke up yet. I'm quiet worried because he still hasn't waken up after a week. We can't give him any ambrosia or nectar because he's human. I accidentally bumped into a boy, his spiky jet black hair reminded me of Oliver's. His sea green eyes watched me, and I quickly apologized and went on my way. When I arrived to the infirmary I saw Oliver motionless, I grew a rose from the ground and placed it on the table beside him. Giving my regards for a great recovery I went back to my cabin to converse with my siblings.

(1st Person Perspective) Oliver

I woke with a sudden jolt. Looking at my surrounding I saw, beds scattered the room. The scent of medicine capturing my nose. I saw a single rose next to my bed, grabbing it I instantly thought of Oleander and wondered if he was okay. Not seeing anyone in the room I shuffled out the door and went down the hallway. I heard talking in a room, seeing a blond girl running out of the room. Confused I looked into the room, seeing an anxious boy, a fat man drinking Coca Cola, a half boy half donkey and finally a familiar half man half horse. They all looked at me, the fat man lifting his eyebrow asked me.

"You, who are you?" His gruff voice instantly made me back up a little.

"Ahh, it's the boy the traveled with the young Oleander!" The half man and half horse said with a jolly smile.

"Tch whatever, Grover sit this one out this boy is going to join us." When the fat man said that, the half boy half donkey sighed looked at me thankfully which didn't ease me one bit.

"What are we playing?" I ventured.

The fat man looked at me and said "Pinochle, you know how to play?"

"A little, but not much."

The fat man started shuffling the deck and dealing, my head started hurting and I grabbed at it trying to stop the pain.

"Oh my, what's wrong?" The half horse half man said,

"Ugh, it's nothing just a headache not wanting to go away. Thank you for worrying though Mr..."

"Chiron, I am a centaur."

"I am Oliver, like I said thank you for worrying Mr.Chiron."

"No problem Oliver, but please don't call me Mr.Chiron, Chiron will do."

"Okay then Chiron." I said rubbing my head, the headache subsiding.

"There in front of you is Mr.D" Chiron said pointing at the fat man in front of me. I felt the menacing aura from this fat man and decided to be polite.

"Hello there Mr.D sir." I said slightly bowing.

"Hmph, good manners at least. Tell me boy why do I not feel any divine blood in you?"

I raise my eyebrow at the comment and asked

"What do you mean by that Mr.D sir?"

"Oliver here is fully human sir."

"Hmm? Why is a mortal here in a place like this?" Mr.D's menacing aura slightly increased making me sweat in fear.

"I permitted him to pass the barrier because young Oleander asked for me to help his friend. Though I believe he isn't a normal mortal, it seems like he possess a strange power."

"Oh? And what power will that be?" Mr.D turned to me questioningly.

"Well, you see I call it Ki. It's latent energy that I awakened while meditating."

"Tch, seems weak if a normal human can awaken the power then it shouldn't be anything to worry about."

"Umm, sir why do you keep calling me human like that? It's like your not one of us."

"Because I'm not boy" Mr.D grumbles when Chiron won the round of pinochle.

I was shocked, a normal looking fat guy that was slightly menacing was not human? Then I looked at Chiron and the boy named Grover and accepted that, that wasn't really that shocking.

Then the boy next to me started conversing with Chiron and Mr.D, I only picked up a little bit of information from what they were saying because I suddenly remembered the weird dream I had.

After losing more pinochle games Chiron, took me and the boy that was named Percy outside to your Camp-Half Blood. Me and Percy looked surprise of the view. We walked through the strawberry fields, Chiron talking about how it pays its expenses. I looked around for Oleander to see if he was here but my effort was proven fruitless because I did not see Oleander.

Percy started looking at the large forest, and Chiron told Percy that he'll find out what it's armed with at Friday night and that he'll go get him a sword and shield. He then looked at me and said,

"You can also participate if you want, but you'll need a sword and shield as well."

"Umm I don't really like fighting so I think I'll pass." I said swinging my hand back in forth.

After touring most of Camp-Half Blood I started dozing off just admiring the view until I heard

"The Chiron from the stories? Trainer of Hercules and all that? Yes, Percy, I am."

I look over at Chiron "Wait what stories?"

Chiron looked at me with shock and grabbed me.

"You don't know about Greek mythology? Oh that will not do! Come! When this tour is over I will assign the Athena cabin to smush some knowledge into you!"

Chiron turned around and saw the blond girl that ran out of the room from earlier.

"Ah! Look Annabeth is waiting for us."

We walked over to the girl reading a book with a cabin behind her, I assumed it was the 11th cabin considering it's the only one that Chiron has gone over. When we arrived next to her she eyed me and Percy like she was trying to find our weaknesses.

Chiron left us with the girl assigning her to give me some books about Greek mythology. She lead us in to the 11th cabin. "Both of you meet cabin 11."

I heard someone say "Regular or undetermined?"

"Undetermined."

Everyone groaned and I swear dropped seeing how cramped the place is. A tall boy around Jake's age came up to us and I saw his scar that screamed coolness.

"This is Luke." I saw Annabeth blush from the corner of my eye.

"He's your counselor for now."

"For now?" Percy asked.

"You're undetermined, they don't know what cabin to put you in, so you're here. Cabin eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travelers." Like explained patiently.

"How long will I be here?" Percy asked.

"Good question. Until you're determined."

"Does determined mean being claimed by your godly parent?" I asked interrupting Percy's next question.

"Yes, until you are claimed you will be here as undetermined." Luke explained smiling at me.

"But what if you don't have a godly parent?"

Everyone laughed at that comment.

"Come on, I'll show you the volleyball court." Annabeth said grabbing us out of the cabin.

Annabeth started to argue with a confused Percy that looked like he was getting angry. I stopped listening because it sounded like normal sibling banter. I started to wonder what I'm doing here. Why me, a normal scrawny teen dragged into a world field with gods and monsters. But then I remembered, Oleander was in need. What if I wasn't there to save him? He would've died, I did the thing I love to do. Help.

I turned back to see Annabeth bickering with another kid, she looked the same age as her and was bulky. I'm pretty sure she was bulkier than me, which kinda made me self conscious.

Then the scrawny girl looked at me and Percy.

"Who are these losers?"

"Percy, and uhh..."

"Oliver."

"Oliver, meet Clarisse, daughter of Ares."

"Like the war god?" Percy blinked.

"You got a problem with that?"

"No, it explains the bad smell."

I sighed at Percy, it really seemed like he wanted to get into a fight. I tried to intervene but I got stopped by Clarisse's friends.

"You're next wimp."

"Wait you're turn."

They both smirked at me. I disengaged hoping that Percy wouldn't screw anything up. Maybe he could get out of this by himself. Annabeth tried intervening too but Percy stopped her. I facepalmed from the stupidity. Percy was grabbed by the collar by Clarisse and was being dragged to what I presumed was a bathroom.

At this I decided to go actually intervene this time. Like the last time I got stopped by Clarisse's friends.

"You really couldn't wait your turn huh?"

"Well let's show this punk what we do with impatient weaklings around here."

They both run up to me about to attack as I prepare myself for a fight.

AN: Hello everyone! I really hope you enjoyed this part of the chapter. I realized that the chapter was getting too long so it's going to be a 2 parter. I will work hard to get this next part done as soon as I can! (I'm kinda busy with school work so this might take longer than previous uploads.)

You probably already know who the shadowy person is but I have some plans on what this person will teach Oliver!

Stay tuned! And have a great day! :D
