Marinette was panicking. What should she wear on her date? Her VERY FIRST DATE! She looked over at her kwami for help.
"Hey Tikki, what do you think I should wear?" She asked her little kwami friend as she came to rest on her shoulder.
"Hmm... let's see..." Tikki hummed softly to herself and scanned the racks of clothing carefully while glancing over at her charge every few seconds.
After a few more moments, the little ladybug kwami smiled brightly up at her charge. "How about this?" She asked while pointing to a black and purple dress with fishnet sleeves and a pair of shiny black flats.
Marinette's eyes seemed to light up and she nodded her head in delight.
"That's great! Thanks a lot Tikki!" Marinette called over her shoulder as she skipped to her bathroom to get ready.
She emerged from the bathroom a few minutes later with her hair in two pigtails as usual and a bright, cat-like smile crossing her normally pale face.
"How do I look?" The girl asked, spinning around and showing off her dress for Tikki to see.
Tikki flew around her charge's head, smiling brightly and nodding her head in approval. "You look really pretty Nettie!" The little ladybug kwami told her with a wide grin on her face and a bright golden in her eyes.
"Be sure to tell me all about your date when you come back." Tikki called after the girl as she dashed down stared and out the door.
In no time at all, Marinette arrived at the park where she and Juleka were meeting up for their date.
A wide grin spread across her face as she caught the familiar flash of purple hair.
"Hi Jules!" Marinette called out as she raced over to the other girl. "Sorry I kept you waiting."
The taller girl smiled sweetly and gave the other girl a small peck on the cheek. "No need to worry, I haven't been waiting long."
Marinette's cheeks went bright red after the kiss had ended. She really loved this girl!
"So do you have any plans?" Juleka asked her girlfriend as the started walking through the park, watching the leaves as they fell from the treetops.
In response to her girlfriend's question, Marinette just shrugged her shoulders in answer to her question.
"Sorry Jules, I should have thought this through." She gave Juleka a sheepish smile and looked nervously down at her feet.
As the two girls kept on walking, Juleka paused in her tracks and nudged Marinette in the side with her elbow. "Nettie look!"
The bluenette shot her head up and sad saw two familiar faces up ahead, not even two feet away from where she and Juleka were standing.
"Hey lovebirds!" Marinette duped her hands over her mouth and shouted. "Why don't you come over here and join us!"
The two girls had to stifle their giggles upon seeing Adrian stumble backwards over tree root. Now that was funny.
"Hi Gami," Marinette greeted her friend as the two teens approached the two still laughing girls.
Kagami gave them both a small smile while Adrian shot Marinette an annoyed look.
"Did you really have to shout so loud?"
Marinette's only response was to give him a cheeky, cat-like grin, her bluebell eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Oh hush Kitty Catty, you know you love me." Her smile seems to widen even more as she gives him a knowing look.
Adrian just rolled his eyes in a very Ladybug-like manner. "Ok ok fine! You got me on that one Cockroach." Was all he said in response.
Ha!" Marinette pumped her fist in the air with a victorious smirk. "My face makes a compelling argument, doesn't it?"
"That it does," Adrian squeaked out while the other two just start laughing at the awkwardness of the situation.
