She waited till it got too quiet to make her move. Then she started her journey to find a place where she would be welcomed. She hopes that her step uncle would get punished for what he did to her.
Carrying nothing, but a bag that she made that has her mother's necklace, her father's dog tag and a photo of her and her parents, Juliet was on her way to freedom.
She isn't sure where to go, but she hopes somewhere far away. Far away from her step uncle. She then came across a strange town that is far away. The night has fallen by the time she came across that town.
A town that is not like any other. It has different creatures and characters alike. Then Juliet tried to find shelter till she found one from a cardboard box. It was big enough for her. Then she went to the dumpster and found some food that is still good enough to eat.
After her meal, she went to her shelter. She saw stars shining in the night sky. She thinks it's her parents and tears started to form in her eyes. She then made a wish in her mind. Her wish is that she would find a life that is beyond grand and to get away from the misery she was in.
She cried herself to sleep. What she doesn't know is that her life is about to change for the better.
