(Daphne's POV)

I'll just say it; I have absolutely no luck with men and I never will! The one time Frasier actually fixed me up with a handsome and sexy man, I came to realize that

it was Frasier, not meself who was the object of Tom Duran's affections! I even spent the night suffering in a strapless bra that made me ribcage feel like it was

being attacked by wires!

Oh, who am I kidding? Even if Tom Duran was interested in girls he certainly wasn't interested in me. Niles and Martin got a good laugh out of it. Yes, I'm sure they

found it hilarious. Frasier, of course, didn't find it funny at all. And in the end, we were both where we started; single.

Perhaps someday I'll land a man. Perhaps he's been here all along, and I just never knew it. What if it was someone I knew very well, like Dr. Crane's brother? I

know he's married and all, but the way his marriage has been going lately, I can't see it lasting much longer. The poor man. No wonder he spends so much of his

time over at our place. The thought makes me laugh. Me and Dr. Crane, a couple! We'd never get along! He's stuffy and pretentious, just like Frasier. We don't have

any of the same likes, and after living with Frasier for so long, I'm sure that Niles would drive me absolutely batty. Still, he's sweet and helpful although he does

tend to overdo it in that department.

He's been a good friend. I should tell him that more often.

Now getting back to me lack of success with men… Oh, why bother? And where did I put that pack of ciggies?
