"CGI Town?" Amity asked, casting her gaze towards James and Trickster. "Are you two planning to head over there?"
Trickster nodded. "Yeah. We walked past the entrance when we were looking around. I was gonna take James over there. We both could use a break,"
Luz nodded. "I could use a break too," her stomach rumbled, and could be heard by everyone. "See? Definitely need a break. I need me some food," she said with a chuckle.
Trickster smiled and looked at James. "So, I guess we can find some food over there-," He blinked, then arched his eyebrow. "James? Why are you blushing?"
Caught off guard, James gasped. "Nothing!" he retorted. "I... yeah, let's go get some..." Then, he walked forward, passing Amity who was holding King. Bendy quickly stood up and caught up with James.
"Uhhh... James? CGI Town is behind us," Trickster said, shaking his head while giggling.
James gasped and turned around. "Right, I knew that..."
"Indulging into the cartoon stereotypes I see?" Trickster said with a smirk as James walked past him.
"Ugh, shut up," James said rolling his eyes.
Luz and Amity watched as James walked past them. "What was all that about?" Luz asked confusedly as she chuckled.
Trickster just chuckled. "I think there's something James doesn't want to tell me," He started to walk forward to follow James. Once he did, the two Owl House Toons followed him.
"What is it?" Amity asked.
Trickster replied, "I'm not sure, but I'll get him to spill the beans," with a mischievous giggle.
After some walking, they finally made it to the small tunnelway that led to the second portion of Toon Town.
James was standing there, at the turnstiles waiting for his friends to join him.
"Whatcha waiting for? Just jump over it," Trickster called out to James when he saw him standing around the turnstiles.
James looked behind him. "I... just... I'm scared I'll get in trouble," He said. By then, Trickster and the rest were by his side.
"James, I told you, no one is here. It's like Toon Town is on a weird lock down. Just jump it,"
"Fine..." James said. He put his left leg over the turnstile and went to step over, but his right leg got caught on it, and he tripped and landed on the ground. Once he did, a loud symbol sound played out from him. "Oof!" James grunted as his face met the floor.
"PIFFFFTTTT!"Trickster burst into laughter.
"Ugh," James groaned, then got off of the floor.
"Wow," Trickster said, still giggling. "Toon Town is really starting to shape on you,"
By then, James had gotten off of the floor. "Shut up Trix..." James said. Trickster giggled, then stepped over the turnstiles, then walked up to James, and playfully pushed him.
"Make me~" Trickster giggled.
James pouted from the shove, then pushed Trickster back.
Trickster smirked. "You wanna play that game huh~?" He then gave James another shove.
"Trickster!" James giggled. Blushing, he grabbed Trickster and started to tickle him.
"Eeek~! Hahaha no!" Trickster yelled in laughter as he tried to shove James off of him. James smirked, then tickled Trickster on his belly, with Trickster trying to tickle him back-
But then they heard.
Ahem...
Both of them stopped in place, then looked behind him at Luz and Amity both looking at them, with slight smirks on their faces. Bendy was there with them, slightly giggling to himself.
"*cough* so... uh... um... this is CGI Town, right?" James said turning around and looking into the town they just had entered. "Looks very 3D,"
Trickster laughed softly.
Luz just playfully sighed.
Amity chuckled. "Yeah, this is it. You have never been before?"
"Um... only a few times. It's more expensive than the 2D side," James said.
"Well, what are we standing around for?!" Luz yelled, smiling, then ran past them. Then turned around, running backward to face them. "There's a lot of nice things here!" Then she turned back around and ran forward.
"Luz! Wait up!" Amity yelled. "Ugh, she's so energetic," she chuckled and ran after her.
James and Trickster didn't run and just walked together behind them.
"Wow, talk about entering into a whole new world..." James said as he looked around his surroundings at all the colorful buildings in CGI Town.
"Huh? What do you mean? Isn't the world beyond Toon Town three-dimensional like this? Why ya look so surprised?" Trickster asked.
"Yeah, it is. But it's not this colorful!"
The area the tunnel led to was a park that was located on the west side of CGI Town. This entire area was opened back in 95'. And since then, it's just been evolving and improving.
Some paths led to a water fountain. To the left side, was a big entryway, that said Nickelodeon, then to the right, was a huge entrance way that said Disney and Pixar. Directly in front, was just a path with many skyscrapers all done in a colorful CGI fashion.
There were quite a few Toons all around the area, just walking around coming from those entrances that were marked the names of the studios.
"Ooh... so... wait, where do those lead to?" James asked, gesturing Trickster to look at the entrances.
"Oh, those? Those lead to those pocket towns I was talking about," Trickster said.
"Oh they do?!" James gasped.
"Yeah. I think I did tell you before. All of the Pocket Towns are accessible only in CGI Town," Trickster explained. "When they invested in them, they didn't have the room to put them on the 2D side, so they found space and put them here in CGI Town. So Luz's and Amity's pocket Towns are in the Disney and Pixar tunnel over there,"
"Look," Trickster said pointing over to the Nickelodeon entrance. "See? There's Ryder going into the Nickelodeon one. He's most likely going to his Pocket Town,"
"Yeah... um... he lives in a city called Adventure Bay or something like that," James said, remembering the name.
"Wow..." James said still looking at the entrances from where he was standing. "I wish I could afford to visit one. Like, when all this mess clears up,"
"Well, if you tell Luz how much you wanna see it, I'm sure she can find some way to get you some tickets," Trickster said smiling. "Humans are rarely allowed in the Pocket Towns. The only sole reason is that the Pocket Towns have no rules with Magic,"
"Oh?" James said, surprised. "They don't?"
Trickster nodded. "Yeah. Toons are free to use their magic, that's if they have Magic, in their Towns. So That's why humans are rarely allowed in there. They don't want anyone of you guys to get hurt,"
James nodded. "Yeah, makes sense..."
Trickster looked at James, "So? What do you wanna do? You wanna break the rules and go into a Pocket Town?" He smirked. "Or you wanna eat something first?"
James giggled a little. "I definitely want to visit a town like that, but I am hungry... We've been walking all day,"
Trickster smiled, then nodded, "Okay, some grub it is then!" Trickster took James's hand, and they both walked into CGI Town together.
"Come on Bendy!" James smiled, calling out to his game-toon friend.
Bendy made a cartoon squeak sound and caught up to James and Trickster.
"Alright... where the hell did Luz and Amity run off too?" Trickster asked as they navigated through the crowd of Toons.
"Oh wow... I never seen this many Toons before in one area..." James said looking around.
"Yeah," Trickster said to him. "Although there's a lot of 2D Toons, there's possibly way more 3D ones,"
James felt like he was walking a street back home in LA. Just... this was all cartoons and no humans.
"Do you come here often?"
"A few times... as I said before, I never really spoke with people much. No one likes the pie-throwing teenager, Toon, so..."
James chuckled. "I haven't even seen you summon a pie in a while,"
Trickster looked at him and smirked. "Ooh~ That can easily be changed~" Trickster raised his hands, then snapped his fingers, and a pie appeared in his hands.
James gasped and broke from Trickster's grasp. "Trickster no!" He laughed a little.
Trickster giggled. "Geez, calm your horses. I'm just messing with ya," Trickster threw the pie in the air, but then it landed on Alvin, from the new CGI Alivin and Chipmunks TV Show, who was standing in line for a food stand next to them on the path.
"Ugh! Hey! Who threw this!"
And since Alvin is small, he got completely drenched in the pie.
"Oops!" Trickster gasped then grabbed James's hand, and ran from the area.
James just laughed softly.
They ran over to one spot, that was far away from where Alvin was.
"Well, that's what you get for always throwing pies at people~," James smirked.
Trickster giggled. "Oh stop,"
Trickster turned around. They were by a restaurant. A restaurant that was run by Remy from Ratatouille.
"I'm sure you'd wanna try this~," Trickster said with a smile.
"Huh? What-?" James looked up, and then saw the restaurant's name. "Wait... they have something like this here?! Is it actually run by Remy? Or... is it like the knockoff at Disney World?"
"I'm sure Remy is actually there," Trickster said with a giggle. "Wanna go?"
James nodded smiling.
They got seated at a table, by one of the chefs from the actual Ratatouille movie. James was so happy to see that. He's been to Walt Disney World a few times, but they don't have this... with this scale. They never have the Toon race visit Disney World much. If you want to see your favorite characters, you'd have to go to Toon Town in LA, or Japan if you want to meet the Anime characters.
"Wow..." James said as he looked around from his seat at a table they were sitting at. A lot of Toons were in there, but no humans... which was expected given the circumstances.
"I bet this is strange to not have this place rammed with human tourists, huh?" James said looking at Trickster who was sitting across from him.
"A little, but this restaurant is always filled with just the same amount of Toons as humans every day... before the tunnel thing," Trickster said to him. "People just love Remy's cooking. He's not only a cook in his movie but also in real life,"
James chuckled. "Well, it's a good thing he's using what he did in his film in real life. Since you told me most Toons don't do much after their movie or show is over,"
Trickster nodded. "Yeah..." He was looking at the menu. He looked up from it and looked at James. "I just know you're gonna get this, huh~" Trickster leaned forward and showed something on the menu to James.
"Hmm?" James asked. Then, he looked at the menu item Trickster was showing him.
James rolled his eyes, "What? So because I like the movie, I'm gonna get that?" He said. He stayed silent for a bit, "Yeah, I'm definitely getting it..." He said looking away.
Trickster started to laugh but tried to keep his voice down.
James snickered a little. "Shut up! How the hell can I pass up on trying Ratatouille?! I never tried it before," James said, flipping through the pages of the menu. "Wait... hold on... where... uh? Huh...? Why do these have no prices?" James spoke. His eyebrow furrowed in confusion as he looked at the items on the menu.
"You... do know Toon Town food is free right?" James heard Trickster say.
James coughed. "Wait... what?!" He quickly looked up from the menu.
Trickster chuckled. "You didn't know?"
"I thought it was only the food stands and carts that were free?!" James said looking totally surprised. "You're telling me I could have gone to Mickey's restaurant before when I used to come here so many times?!"
Trickster giggled softly. "Well, they did just recently include them in the ticket prices," Trickster said. "Lately Toon Town has been killing Disney World and Land in those things,"
"Wow... alright, well remind me to go to all the restaurants back on the 2D side,"
Trickster laughed a bit. "What you're gonna do? Eat all of them in one day?"
James looked looking at Trickster with a blank expression. "Dude, I ain't a Toon where I'd just inflate like a balloon. I'd die if I did that," James just softly chuckled after saying this.
"Hello," They heard a voice say, "May I ask what you'd like to start with? Some water?"
James looked up, and saw Alfredo Linguini, the human main character in Ratatouille. He gasped at seeing him since he never met him before. "Oh! I... Uh!" But then James accidentally dropped the fork. "Oh crap!" He quickly picked it up and looked up at the Toon.
"I'd... like some... uh... the... coffee! ... Decaf..."
"You definitely need the decaf," James heard Trickster say.
James blinked, then slowly looked over at Trickster who was smirking at him.
James just stuck his tongue out at him.
"So... some coffee, decaf... and for you sir?" The waiter Toon asked, looking at Trickster.
"Uh, some water. I was wanting coffee, but coffee always makes me bounce off the walls... literally," Trickster said.
"Alright," Linguini said, "And what about your little Toon friend here?" He asked pointing at Bendy, who was sitting next to James.
Bendy looked over at the menu. He pointed at the grape soda.
"Okay, a water, a decaf coffee, and a grape soda," He wrote those down. "And, what would you like to start with?"
"I want the Ratatouille!" James said happily.
Trickster giggled from hearing James say that so excitedly.
"I'll have that too," He said.
Bendy wanted something called Tartifette.
"Alright, those will be out soon," the waiter said, then left.
James blinked, then looked at Bendy. "Huh? Why did you want that?"
Bendy pointed to the menu item. One of the ingredients said bacon.
"I guess you love bacon huh?" James chuckled.
James looked up at Trickster. "Wait..." James said. "This is a French restaurant... isn't it?"
Trickster nodded. "Yeah? What... about it? Did you just now figure that out?" He laughed a bit.
"No... I..." James looked up at the small dimly lit lamp that was hanging about him. And then down at the table with the white tablecloth.
"Aren't most of these restaurants... about romance?" James asked.
He heard Trickster make a little giggle.
But before he could look up, he felt Trickster zip beside him.
James and both Bendy gasped.
"Yeah? And what about that~?" Trickster asked, smirking, coming closer towards James's face.
James blushed madly as Trickster's giant black pac-man eyes were up in his face.
"I... uh..." James stammered.
"I guess you can say... this is a date between you and me~," Trickster teased.
James blushed even more. "I... Trick... Trickster..." He stammered.
"What? You think I forgot about you saying you have a crush on me, you human boy~," He said, smiling in a teaseful way.
James just blushed madly, and looked away, facing Bendy instead. Which didn't make matters better because Bendy was giggling softly at what was happening.
Just then, Trickster zipped back to his seat across the table.
Still blushing, James looked back at him over on the other side of the table.
Trickster smiled. "So... this is our first date~,"
James couldn't take it anymore and covered his face.
