A new student arrives at Francoise Dupont High School, Zach Petiot, a well known teenage actor, who quickly makes friends with most of the students and has no problem putting Chloe in her place. Meanwhile, Ladybug and Cat Noir gain a new member for their team, Nightwolf, the weilder of the long lost Wolf Miraculous!

17. Author's Note

Hello everyone, I never planned to do something like this for this series, but now I feel like I have to since I would like to address a few things.

So, initially, when I came up with this fic 4 years ago (Wow, has it really been that long already?), I planned to avoid any contradictions to new developments in the show, for the most part, it was pretty easy, since none of the new developments went against what I wrote, things like Rose's illness, Chloe's sister and Miss Bustier being in a lesbian relationship were all fine since they didn't go against anything I had already wrote or anything I planned to write for this fic or any sequels I have planned, however, now with the show going so far off the rails as it has (Which, I honestly don't mind, I'm loving how nuts the show has gotten), this seems to be jeopardized, as someone in the comments pointed out, the next chapter I plan to write, Heartbreaker, involves Lila, but with the new reveal that she apparently has multiple lives and identities and three mothers, it would be 100% impossible for me to write around that, so it seems I'm going to have to break my own rule and officially stop trying to keep with the show's established lore. Also the stuff about Adrien and Felix is something else I'm going to have to retcon in this.

Also, I know I haven't been updating this as often as I wanted, in fact, when I started writing this, I had hoped that by now, I would have finished this story and would be about a third of the way through the sequel by now, but many things have gotten in my way, such as job hunting, getting ideas for other fics that I wanted to work on too, and the fact that I've been working on writing a novel that I'm hoping to possibly get published by the end of next year. I'm also working on writing my Harry Potter series, John Hawthorne, but I think that, at least for now, I'm going to focus more on this because I'm suffering major writers block in my John Hawthorne series, I only worked to get the latest chapter of my John Hawthorne fic finished when I did so that I could post it as a tribute to the late Michael Gambon. Until I am able to continue that fic, I will probably be working more on this fic.

Next, in responses to some comments with ideas for corrupt kwamis, I actually have all the corrupt kwamis I need planned out and ready for when I plan to use them, that being said, ideas for new akumatized villains are always welcome, I have all the villains planned out for this fic, but I welcome new ideas for villains for any sequels I may write.

Also, someone suggested that I could write special chapters/spin-offs where I decide to incorporate Zach into the Miraculous Specials, New York and Shanghai, and possibly the Miraculous Movie. While I will admit that it is a pretty interesting idea, at the moment, I will have to say it is unlikely that these will happen as I haven't seen any of the specials or the movie yet, I might reconsider after I finally get around to watching them, but until then, it's not going to happen, however, never say never.

A lot of people have said that while my writing for the civilian lives for the characters seems pretty good, my writing for the superhero parts seems pretty rushed, yeah, I have to admit that I agree, I tend to find it easier to write drama than action, but I am trying to get better.

Lastly, in chapter 7, I mentioned that I was looking for a cover pic for this story, since I'm not great at fan art, I would like to say that I am still looking, if anyone can come up with designs for a good cover pic, please let me know.
