"How did Otis get akumatized into Animan? Chat asked as they were running away from Animan who was transformed as a Cheetah
"I don't know but I'll need to ask a certain someone about it." Ladybug said
"Alright, I'll keep him busy." Chat said as Ladybug grappled away then she landed on Alya's bedroom balcony and knocked on her window
"Alya, are you there?" Ladybug said then she opened the door and found it was unlocked so she entered, she heard Alya crying which made Ladybug detransform and Marinette hugged Alya as she cried into her shoulder
"Alya what's wrong?" Marinette asked
"It's Lila, she's lying to my parents about me which made my father angry that he yelled at me then he got akumatized." Alya said
"Alya do you want to continue collecting information on Lila or do you want to stop before she does something to you." Marinette said
"No I'll continue but if Nino starts believing Lila then I'll quit." Alya said
"I don't think Nino will believe Lila and do you know why?" Marinette asked which made Alya shake her head
"Because he loves you, Alya, he wouldn't believe Lila." Marinette said
"I hope you're right Marinette but if Lila tells Nino a lie about me cheating on him then what." Alya said
"I don't know, let's hope it doesn't come down to that but right now I have to stop your father." Marinette said then she transformed into Ladybug then she headed towards the exit and headed where Animan was, when she arrived she saw Chat was having trouble so she dropped down and kicked Animan away
"Are you alright kitty." Ladybug said as she helped Chat up then they saw Animan turned into a Rhino
"How strong are Rhinos?" Chat asked
"They can run through brick walls without injuring themselves." Ladybug said then they saw Animan rushing towards them
"Well, we better move since Rhinos are quite fast on land." Ladybug said as they headed up to the roof
"How are we going to defeat him without getting hit?" Chat asked then the Senti-heroes arrived
"Leave that to us Chat Noir." Queen Bee said as Lady Bee and Vesperia walked forward
"Ah, how?" Chat asked
"By using Venom on him." Lady Bee said
"Okay go ahead." Ladybug said as the three bees walked forward then they looked down and saw Animan running through the building multiple times trying to make it collapse.
"Venom." The bees said then they dropped down just as Animan exited out but he heard them so he transformed into an eagle and flew into the sky which the heroes saw
"Oh fuck, thought we had him then." Senti-bug said then Animan transformed into an Elephant and started to charge at the bees who quickly escaped back to the roof
"We better do something before he transforms into an animal that will eat us all." Ladybug said
"But how?" Polymouse asked which made Ladybug think
"Can you guys distract him while I go to the Zoo and get a tranquilizer dart so I can shoot him." Ladybug said as she travelled to the zoo Senti-heroes and Chat kept Animan busy until Ladybug returned
While at the Zoo, Ladybug entered the main headquarters and started to search for a tranquilizer dart when she found it she used her Lucky Charm and she got a tranquilizer gun which made her load the dart in then she exited out and went to where Animan and the heroes were and she saw they were struggling against him as he was still transformed as an Elephant.
"I have one shot at this so I better not miss and let's hope he doesn't transform either." Ladybug said as she aimed at Animan but Animan transformed into a Crocodile and started to chase the heroes around while trying to take a bite out of them
"This is going to take all day to defeat him." Ladybug said as she chased after them
For the past 5 hours, Animan kept changing into different animals every time Ladybug took then Animan went back to the Panthers and he was exhausted which Ladybug took advantage of as he quickly took aim and fired the dart and as it flew through the air it hit Animan which made him get woozy then he collapsed. Chat Noir walked up and broke his bracelet and the Akuma went out flying which Ladybug caught and cleansed then she threw her Lucky Charm and it repaired the damage Animan did
"Man that was a hard fight." Chat said
"Yeah, it was." Ladybug said
"Want to head home so I can give you a massage?" Chat asked
"Sure my muscles are tense." Ladybug said as they headed home while the Senti-heroes patrolled Paris not knowing Senti-Noir was slowly turning white from Chat Blanc.
Felix who was walking around Paris he thought about what Marinette said to him
"Should I move on from Bridgette who was my first love or find another woman who would be perfect for me? Maybe I should ask my cousin if he wants to share Marinette together or find that girl who stared at me when my Uncle got akumatized over a stolen ring." Felix thought then he continued walking until he heard grunts and groans he walked over and saw Kagami practicing alone so he walked over which Kagami saw so she stopped
"Who are you?" Kagami asked as she took a drink out of her bottle
"I'm Felix, Adrien's cousin, and you are." Felix said
"So you are the one who tried to get Adrien's friends to hate him." Kagami said
"I wasn't in the right headspace due to my father dying. So can we start all over again." Felix said
"Sure I'm Kagami Tsurugi." Kagami introduces herself
"Tsurugi as in, you're the daughter of Tomoe Tsurugi." Felix said
"Yeah, that's my mother." Kagami said
"(I have a feeling something is strange with her as well.)" Felix thought
"Do you want to get a cup of tea and get to know each other better." Felix asked
Sure I would like that." Kagami said as they both went to a Japanese tea shop, ordered some tea and they both sat down and started to get to know each other.
2 days later
Ladybug and Chat Noir were out on patrol and they saw someone was getting robbed so they dropped down and stopped them
"Thank you Ladybug and Chat Noir." Paris Citizen said before walking away
"What's going on, ever since I created those Senti-heroes it's like crime has risen." Ladybug said
"I don't know either Milady but we should go back to patrol." Chat said then he heard Ladybug's stomach rumble
"Hungry are you Milady." Chat said with a smile
"I don't know why but I'm craving for pickles all of a sudden." Ladybug said
"But you hate pickles." Chat said
"It doesn't matter but what does matter is some baked goods so let's go to the Dupain Bakery and buy macarons." Ladybug said
"Are you sure it's wise since they are your parents?" Chat asked
"They are not my parents ever since they believed Lila, I was waiting for the day that they kicked me out of their home." Ladybug said
"Alright then let's go to the Bakery." Chat said as they headed to the bakery, as they entered they saw it was less busy than it normally is but there were still customers and when they saw their heroes they got their phones out and started filming as Ladybug and Chat walked up to the counter
"Can I have dozens of macarons, croissants, and cookies please." Ladybug said as Tom and Sabine put the stuff in the bag and that's when something bad hit Ladybug's nose
"Oh, what's that smell it reeks." Ladybug said as she covered her nose
"What smell, I don't smell it?" Chat asked
"I don't know how to describe it but it's making me sick." Ladybug said
"Maybe you are coming down with something Ladybug, why not take a couple of days off to recover." Sabine said
"I can't recover until Monarch stops attacking Paris." Ladybug said
"Do you want to drop from exhaustion, go home and get some rest Ladybug you need it." Customer said
"Ok then I'll take a break for a couple of days." Ladybug said as she exited the bakery and headed back home while Chat stayed to collect the baked goods
"Take good care of her Chat Noir." Sabine said
"I will." Chat said as he exited then he headed home where he saw Marinette putting her feet up relaxing
"So you took your own mother's advice and finally relaxing." Adrien said
"Adrien I may be stubborn as Ladybug behind the mask but when it comes to my mother's advice, I'm not that stubborn not to listen to it." Marinette said
"So do you know what made your stomach upset?" Adrien asked
"Possibly something I ate earlier or something." Marinette said then Adrien put the bag of baked goods on the table and he walked out as Marinette opened the bag that horrible smell made her sick again so she closed the bag up
"Ugh, what is happening with me today." Marinette said as she held her stomach as Tikki was on top of her hair
"Could it be that you have life growing inside of your Marinette?" Tikki asked
"Not possible, we were careful when we first did it and my period was only 15 days away so they wouldn't be ready to be fertilized yet." Marinette said
"I should have told you this some time ago when you first put my Miraculous on." Tikki said
"What do you mean Tikki?" Marinette asked
"As you know Ladybugs represent Luck right." Tikki said which made Marinette nod her head
"Well, they also represent life as well so you could be carrying a future baby in you." Tikki said
"It could be but it could just be a stomach bug or food poisoning." Marinette said which made Tikki shake her head
"And if it's not any of those two then what." Tikki said
"I don't know since I'm not ready to have a child yet." Marinette said
"Haven't you babysat babies before." Tikki said
"Yeah, but they were kids where they knew everything but a baby needs 24-hour care which I can't do to my Ladybug duties." Marinette said
"Let Alya take over as Scarabella while you're on parental leave." Tikki said
"Knowing Alya she'll want to be the Godmother to my child." Marinette said
"Marinette give it two weeks to see if you are pregnant." Tikki said
"And if it's not pregnancy and it was just a crooked stomach." Marinette said
"Then you'll go back to your Ladybug duties, so lay down and rest up." Tikki said as Marinette lay down and fell asleep
Three days later, Marinette's stomach ache cleared up and she was back to her Ladybug duties with Chat Noir
"You know Milady, I thought you were pregnant as well." Chat said
"Chat, it would be quite risky for me to get pregnant due to the threat Monarch." Ladybug said
"Come on Milady, would it be so bad to take nine months off from being Ladybug just to have kids and let Scarabella take over for a while." Chat said
"Thought you hated Scarabella." Ladybug said
"I did the first time but after seeing who it was I actually liked the idea of working with Scarabella again." Chat said
"I'll think about it Kitty." Ladybug said as they patrolled the city enjoying the peace and quiet for once while over at the University of Paris, someone who specializes in the degree of phobias was getting mad as his work was getting disproven by his colleagues as they said it wasn't a real degree to work on which made Monarch smile
"Someone's life work being disproven by not being real, well I can make it work." Monarch said as he turned a butterfly into an Akuma and called for Kallki then he teleported the Akuma to the mad professor's glasses
"Phobia, people say phobias are not real well I'm giving you the power to make them real, so do we have a deal Phobia." Monarch said
"Yes, Monarch." The professor said as he transformed into Phobia and started to shoot people as their phobias started to come to life which made Phobia laugh
"Don't you love the sound of screaming in the afternoon." Monarch said as he laughed
