A little girl was in the market place in some clothing that the people from that kind of world had never seen before, which is a dress and sandals. She was trying to get away from some bad boys that are chasing her but then she got trapped in an alleyway.
The little girl has black hair, blue eyes and pale skin that has bruises and cuts on her face and body that are healing, she was small and skinny for her age.
She looks back to see that the bad boys have caught up to her. Why can't they leave her alone, so she looks up to them.
This was why she ran away from Billy, she had wished that she could go somewhere far away from him so he can't hurt her anymore and she seems to have traveled back in time.
She whimpered as they came to her and grabbed her catch that she had planned to trade with for some food.
"Why are you all bothering a little girl, four on one?" says a voice.
"My lord. We um...she is not around from here."
The girl looks at him, he has blonde hair that is almost golden, brown eyes and he wore some rich looking clothes like princes wear in fairy tales.
"Go away before I tell my father or get one of the guards." He says calmly.
The bad boys pushed her out of the way and ran away like cowards. She sniffles and she suddenly feels a hand on her shoulder.
She looks to see the boy who has concern in his eyes and her ears are ringing as well then the world tilts and everything goes black.
She wakes up at some point and looks around, she then sees the boy.
"You're awake."
The girl nods and sits up, ignoring the aching in her arms.
"Easy, you should take it easy." He says to her.
"No, I don't. You didn't have to help, y'know." she says
The boy snorts. "You should thank me for saving you."
"I don't even know your name so how can I thank you?" She says.
He sighs and smirks at her. "My name is Jaime Lannister, you should know that."
"Kairi." She says to him.
He smiles, not as arrogantly. "Nice to meet you, my lady."
She smiles, maybe he isn't as bad as people say in the city. Maybe his arrogance is his barrier. Something that keeps him safe.
The door opens and she sees a strict looking man with blue eyes that seems to be studying her as if figuring out who she is and what she wants.
"Father, this is Kairi. Three boys were about to assault her."
So this must be Twyin Lannister. She has heard the grown ups talking about him being cruel and brutal sometimes.
"Where are her parents, Jaime? I have told you before, Lannisters do not act like fools."
Kairi winces, wondering if she had gotten him in trouble.
"I did not. They ran away because they're too scared of you." Says Jaime.
"Don't be mad at him, it's my fault they wanted my kill and I ran away from them. Jaime just helped me." Kairi says to him.
Tywin Lannister looks to her surprise and Kairi knows that Tywin Lannister does not get put off guard so easily. So maybe she impressed him? She doubts it, she is a sinful bastard after all.
He then shakes his head. "I see. May I ask how you killed whichever you killed, child and where are your parents?" He asks.
"I don't...I don't have parents. My mummy died a long time ago. I don't know who my daddy is, my lord." she says.
"So you're a bastard?" Jaime asks.
She gives him a glare, the scariest glare she could get. "That's not nice, Jaime."
Tywin chuckles. "It means that you were born before either of your parents were married."
"I don't know if they are married. Mummy didn't talk about him much. Just expect that he will make her laugh." She says as she shrugged her shoulders.
"What did you kill?"
"Oh, it was a bunny. I don't like killing animals, but I am hungry so I knew I had to do it." She says to him.
He looks to her impressed and then he chuckles. "How did a small girl kill a bunny?"
"Oh, with my claws. I just let my feral take over my mind is all." says Kairi.
Then four claws came slowly out of her hands and Jaime looks to and smiles.
"I bet those come in handy. But why did you not use them against those bullies?" He asks.
"I don't know, I've never been...confident. Billy...he...beat me up too much, I didn't even do anything wrong. You see...I'm not around here. I came from...the future, I guess. I just wished that I wasn't there anymore and I woke up a few weeks ago in the market place and I've been here for...a week, I think." She explains to them.
"That does answer the way you speak. As does this...Billy, it was wrong of him, child. Now...you can stay here if...if you attend to the education we do." He says.
Kairi didn't miss Jaime's look of surprise but then he looks at her and Kairi nods in agreement.
"I can do that." she says and she rubs her eyes.
Why is she so sleepy?Did they drug her or something?
"That's the milk of poppy. You need to rest." Jaime says to her.
"Oh, okay." she says.
"Father, Jaime...who is that?"
She looks to see a girl around the same age as Jaime, with the same blonde hair and brown eyes. She also wore a dress.
"Cersei, this is your new sister but it is best if we let her rest and she'll be joining you tomorrow." Tywin says to her.
So her name is Cersei. Jaime and Cersei.
"But her hair's black."
Kairi runs a hand through her dark hair to find it silky and smooth again, something she hasn't felt her hair in a long time since Billy never let her bathe properly.
Then she saw a little guy coming from behind her and the girl looked at him in disgust.
"Black, blonde, brown...that does not matter but if father says she's our new sister then we respect his wishes."
Kairi looks at Tywin to see hate on his face as he sees the little guy. What is that about?
"why you little monster..."
Kair's blue eyes widens and then she glares at her. "That's not nice."
Cersei glares at her too so Kairi huffs. "You don't need to be so mean. I know my hair's black, I'm six, not stupid."
Tywin smiles slightly. "We'll let you rest. Come."
"I'll stay with her." Says Jaime.
Kairi looks at him again and smiles gently. She is glad that someone likes her.
"No, you will not. You have your studies, Jaime. She needs rest, not you talking to her." Tywin scolds him.
Jaime sighs and squeezes her shoulder. She smiles as she lets darkness take her, feeling safe for the first time in 3 years, but she should've known that wouldn't last long.
"Jaime!"
Jaime turns to her as he stands near a cliff to the ocean. "What are we going to do?" she asks.
"Come on, hold my hand. We're cliff diving." He says to her.
It's been 5 years since Jaime had found her and brought her to his castle. She liked Tyrion, he was funny but Cersei on the other hand, not as much and Cersei doesn't like her much either.
"But that's not ladylike." says Kairi.
"No one will know, it'll be our secret." Jaime says to her, placing a finger on her nose.
She giggles then nods. "All right, as long as you promise that you'll hold my hand." she says.
"I promise that 'i'll always hold your hand when you're scared, always." He says.
She takes his hand and they jump then splash. Jaime helps her to the shore, panting slightly.
"That was a rush." says Kairi.
"haha, I bet." he says.
Then Kairi senses something, something bad.
She sits up and looks around, looking carefully around the beach.
"Kairi, what's wrong?" Jaime asks her.
"Can we go back now?" she asks him.
He takes her by her small shoulders and looks at her carefully. "What's the matter? Don't be scared, I'll always protect you." He says to her.
She shakes her head and then both of them were pulled away from each other and dragged away. She looks to her captor to see that it is Billy, he's finally found her.
"Do-Don't hurt Jaime, Billy! I'll be good for you. Just don't hurt him!" She begs him.
"Fine, knock him out."
There was a flash of light and she looks to see Jaime nearly knocked out but she knows how tough Jaime is.
"Kai..."
That is the first time that he's used that nickname for her, Kai.
"Jamie..." Kairi says, tears falling from her blue eyes.
Then she is forced to look at a pair of twinkling blue eyes and he points her wand to her head and everything goes dark.
Kairi spends many years not able to remember Jaime or who he is to her. The one thing that she has is the necklace he had bought for her when she had turned 7 years old.
It wasn't until Jaime was in his late 30s and Kairi was in her late 20s that they had been reunited. But how will Kairi take in everything that has happened and how would Jaime be able to take the grown up Kairi? Or will fate be cruel to them that they might never be able to tell their feelings to each other, their mates.
