AUTHOR'S NOTE: THIS IS AN OLD FANFIC THAT I DID A WHILE BACK, SO PLEASE DON'T MIND THE BAD GAMMER OR ANY SPELLCHECKING!
Jaime was walking into the coliseum and he saw his little brother, Tyrion Lannister but he cannot help himself. He looked around but he did not see her.
Kairi, the girl he had fallen in love with a long time ago, maybe she's dead or maybe back in her timeline but either way, he misses her.
After her kidnapping everything had changed, his father had become even more bitter and angry towards the world and Tyrion. Of course he got in trouble with cliff diving.
But the scolding he got from his father was nothing compared to the guilt that he still feels for failing Kairi. He had promised her two things that day, that he would always protect her and that he would always hold her hand.
He sits down on his chair and they wait for the Targaryen girl to arrive so he sighs ignoring Cersei's banter.
Then soon there is a roar and he stands up instantly and then a dragon came flying in and climbs down to let its mother dismount it while looking at them as if it was saying, 'hurt my mother and you'll burn'
Then it was gone, in some ways the Targaryen woman reminded him of Kairi with the big eyes and everything.
He had tried so hard to forget Kairi but there were little things that reminded him of her and Daenerys Targaryen is one of them.
When he had been charging her ready to strike her down, she had been replaced by Kairi, looking at him with a shock look in her eyes but after the dragon blocked his view from him, he could focus again.
The black dragon flies away or maybe it would keep close? Jaime isn't sure. But the Targaryen woman sits on her chair and apologizes for being late.
Tyrion then gets up and starts to talk but then Euron Grejoy interrupts him.
"Theon...I have your sister. If you don't submit to me here and now, I'll kill her." he says.
Jaime rolled his eyes, if it were up to him, he would kill him ages ago. He'd wonder how Kairi would handle him.
Tyrion looks at him, squinting his eyes and Jaime shakes his head.
"I think we ought to begin with larger concerns." Tyrion says to them all.
"Then why are you talking?" Euron asks. "You're the smallest concern here."
"Do you remember when we discussed dwarf jokes?" Tyrion asks Theon.
"He wasn't even that good." Theron says.
"He explained it at the end. Never explain, it always ruins it." Tyrion says.
But Euron wasn't done with Tyrion yet. He had to open his mouth once again.
"We don't even let your kind live in the Iron Islands, you know. We kill you at birth. An act of mercy for the parents. Maybe that girl that your brother found, she probably died because she knew you."
Jaime wasn't having him threaten his little brother like that and just as hell he wasn't letting Grejoy talk about Kairi like that. If she were here...
"That's enough." Jaime says.
"Why? You don't like me talking about your little slut?"
Jaime jaw clenches in anger at what he had just said about Kairi. If Greyjoy brings her up in such a disgusting form again, he will kill him.
"Sit down or leave." Cersei says to him firmly.
Jaime can relax as he sits back on his chair and Tyrion walks forwards and stops in front of Cersei but stays a good distance away.
"We are a group of people who do not like one another. As this recent demonstration has shown. We have suffered at each other's hands. We have lost people we love at each other's hands. If all we wanted was more of the same, there would be no need for this gathering. We are entirely capable of waging war against each other without meeting face to face. If not for our friends, our family or for our people...then for her, Kairi." Tyrion says to him.
When he said her name, Jaime's heart clutched hard with emotional pain and guilt. He wonders if she is even alive at this point or what could've happened if she didn't get taken like that. Would things be as they are or would things be different?
But Jaime knows there's nothing he can do now but just hope that she is alive.
So, instead we should settle our differences aside and live together in harmony for the rest of our days?" snarls Cersei.
"We all know that will never happen." Tyrion says coolly.
"Then why are we here?" Cersei says.
Then Jon Snow, Ned's stark's bastard child. Now it's been years since Jaime has seen him and he was a boy when he last saw him and now? Now he is a man and king of the north.
"This is just about living. The same thing is coming for all of us. A general you can't negotiate with, an army that doesn't leave corpses behind on the battlefield. Lord Tyrion tells me a million people live in this city. They're about to become a million more soldiers in the Army of the Dead." Jon Snow says to all of them.
"I imagine for most of them, it would be an improvement." Cersei says.
Jaime wasn't sure if she was joking or not, he never could.
"This is serious. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't." He says to her.
"I don't think it's serious at all. I think it's another bad joke. If my brother, Jaime has informed me correctly, you're asking me for a truce." Cersei says, looking at the Targaryen girl.
"Yes. That's all."
"That's all? Pull back my armies and stand down while you go on your monster hunt? or while you solidify and expand your position. Hard for me to know which it is with my armies pulled back. Until your return and march on my capital with four times the men." Cersei says to her.
"Your capital will be safe until the Northern threat is dealt with. You have my word." the Targaryen girl says.
"The word of a would-be usurper."
Then the ground rumbles and they all look confused then Jaime notices something falling from the sky and he squints to see what is falling, it wasn't a something...but a someone.
The ground hit the ground gently, the girl was rolled on her side, facing away from them. Tyrion was walking when the girl groaned softly and sat up, holding her head then she shook it.
She has long black curly hair which is up into a ponytail but he couldn't see her face, he watches her look around but she hasn't seen them yet.
"Where am I? Oh, gods. Please don't tell me that I'm in fucking Rome again. Can't deal with Commodus again if that's the damn case."
The way she speaks...it was like Kairi, more modern as she called it but it sounds like she has dealt a lot in her lifetime.
What is Rome though?
"Um...My lady?" Jon Snow asks.
Then she slowly turns her head to face them and her big blue eyes settle on his brown eyes and despite the scar across her right cheek, he recognizes her.
"Jaime." She breathes.
Kairi has returned home at long last. But will he be able to tell her his feelings? Because at this point he cannot believe that he is seeing her alive right now.
