Story about Alec Lightfoot, Jace Wayland and Magnus Bane. I don't own the characters of Shadow Hunters and I've added some made up names as well to add to the story line.

Chapter One:

'Just a typical 16 year old boy' yeah right thought Alec as he was walking home from school with his friend Jace Wayland. Jace and Alec had been living together since Jace was the age of 10 years old after both his mother and father had passed away. Alec's parents were family friends of Jace parent's hence why they decided to take him in at such a young age of 10 years old after his parents were killed in a car accident, well that is what Alec and Jace were told to believe.

"Alec wait up, you are walking so fast" called Jace Wayland running to catch up to Alec which brought him out of his daydream.

" Oh sorry, I didn't realise that you were such a slow walker" replied Alec jokingly with Jace. "Sorry I just have a lot on my mind currently and I guess I didn't realise how fast I was actually walking."

"Not a problem, I guess you have a lot on your mind currently. Like how you are going to tell your parent's that you have made the athletics squad, basketball squad and swimming squad all at the same time or is it how you are crushing on a guy at school?" asked Jace.

Just then Alec stopped dead in his tracks "Ho…how did y…you know that I like am crushing on a guy at school" replied Alec who actually looked like he was going to pass out from the shock the he just heard from Jace. "Or that I've made the athletics, basketball and swim squad," continued Alec to cover up what he just admitted to his friend Jace.

"Please Alec, I'm your best friend! How could I not know that you are gay, we've lived together since the age of 10 plus I noticed the signs as I'm going through the same thing as well. I'm scared of how I'm going to tell my best friend that I'm gay as well, plus I noticed your name on all the squad sheets that were posted today. I do ask how are you going to make all the squad trainings, meets and games" questioned Jace.

"W … wa … wait your gay as well?" asked Alec stunned "and I haven't thought about how I'm going to make all the trainings, meets and games yet" continued Alec.

"Yes Alec, I'm gay and I've wanted to tell you for a while as well but I'm kinda freaking out on how to tell your parents that I'm gay. As I kinda consider them as my parents as well since I've been there since the age of 10" said Jace.

They sat on a bench on the way home and pondered it until "How about we tell them together that we are gay" replied Alec to which Jace responded with a smile and gentle nod in agreement. Alec and Jace continued to walk home in silence with every now and then noticing that their hands would touch when walking home and swinging their arms.

"Mum.Dad. We're home," called Alec.

"They are still at work my little twerp of a brother," replied Aaron who had just returned from College for the semester break as he came around the corner to give his brother a hug. "How are you going Jace? Managed to crack onto any hot guys at school?"continued Aaron.

"Wait you knew that Jace was gay before I did," jumped in Alec before letting Jace answer the question that he was asked.

"Yes he told me last Christmas and asked me for some advice on how he should come out to his best friend. Obviously he's just told you today on the way home from school that he's gay and you have told him that you are gay as well" replied Aaron to which Alec could only respond to with a nod in agreement.

"I'm good thanks Aaron and yes I thought it was time that I should tell Alec that I was gay and I figured it out that he was gay as well" respond Jace.

Alec just stood their in disbelief to what was happening at that time, he couldn't believe that Jace went to his brother for advice and that his brother knew that he was gay as well before even coming out to his own family. "How did you know that I was gay?"asked Alec to Aaron.

"It was easy bro, I haven't been honest with you either but I feel like it's time that I should be. I've fallen in love since leaving here and going to College," started Aaron. "I haven't been completely honest with you Alec and it feels like I should at least come clean to you at least. I'm gay, I've meet an amazing guy at college and I've invited him to stay here for a few weeks over the Christmas break. I feel like it's also time to come clean to mum and dad during the Christmas break as well. Maybe we do it all together at the same time" suggested Aaron to which the other two just nodded.

That night it was just Aaron, Jace and Alec all at home discussing how they were going to break the news to their parents. On the way Alec's bedroom Jace stopped outside to give Alec a goodnight kiss before making his way to his bedroom. Once Jace got to his bedroom he thought to himself that 'I'm going to make Alec all mine' as he turned off his light and went to bed
