Chapter 9

As the wedding drew closer Kurt was doing final fittings on their outfits. When Brittany stepped away, he brushed against the crotch of Blaine's pants, "I think that's just the right amount of bulge we want to show for you," he said, smirking at Blaine.

"Kurt! Shame on you, molesting me when you should be working," Blaine's eyes sparkled mischievously.

"We will have to work on healthier eating after the wedding," Kurt said.

"I had to let your pants out a little bit in the waist."

"Are you saying I'm fat?" Blaine gasped, staring at Kurt shocked.

"No, I'm saying you're perfect, but you've gained a few pounds," Kurt smiled.

"Not a big deal really, that's why we do these check-ins before the big day."

"The big day! It will be here soon, then you'll be safe and mine," Blaine beamed.

Kurt stood up from kneeling, "silly, I'm yours, I've been yours for a while now, this is just the official version."

"How did I get so lucky in meeting you?" Blaine leaned over kissing him.

"Duh, Scrap's meddling," Kurt laughed.

"Oh yeah, how could I forget," Blaine said, waiting for Scrap to reprimand him.

They both heard a tsking sound in their minds.

Blaine headed off to his class after the fitting, his powers and health seemed to be better over all, but he'd had a few incidences of vomiting the last couple weeks, which was unusual for him. He agreed with Kurt, it was probably nerves, what else could it be.

Kurt smiled as he worked on the other wedding outfits. "You two have done great jobs with these outfits for me, thank you so much Brittany and Tina."

They both smiled, pleased at the praise.

The rest of the day was filled with fittings and designs for customers.

Blaine snapped his fingers and ended up in the kitchen after work, Burt and Carole were coming over for dinner and last minute wedding discussions, so he wanted to at least get things out and ready for Kurt to cook. He smiled to himself, the "father son" conversation with Burt was wonderful, and so heartfelt, he couldn't help but hug him after they were done.

As he got things out Scrap jumped onto the counter. "Peasant," he said purring.

"To what do I owe the honor of his majesty visiting me?" Blaine said, smiling.

"Just making sure you aren't going to mess anything up with the wedding. I'm tired of the paw holding."

"Gee, thanks Scrap, what would I do to mess up the wedding? It's only a few days away and my mother said she would be on her best behavior."

"I never know with you, it was a lot of work to get you and Kurt together, I've grown fond of him and want to keep him around… for you, of course," Scrap said the last as an afterthought.

"I think Kurt and I are doing well and on the same page here, just in countdown mode."

Kurt appeared just then, "are you two talking about me?" he laughed.

"Just making sure everything is going okay and Blaine won't mess things up," Scrap chuckled.

"He's been an angel, except in bed of course," Kurt said blushing.

"I keep well away from your bedroom, I don't want to know what you are doing with the handcuffs I saw."

"Scrap! Are you going through our things?" Blaine said, scoldingly.

"No, they were attached to the headboard for anyone to see."

"Oh my god, Blaine, I told you to put them away!" Kurt said, turning red.

"You must have distracted me, before I remembered," Blaine said, pulling Kurt in for a kiss.

They had a great evening with Burt and Carole and felt like they were ready for the big day.

They slept in separate bedrooms the night before the wedding. Kurt insisted they keep the tradition.

They were both getting ready while the wedding party helped people to get seated. They had decided just to have a wedding party, no maid or man of honor, keeping things simple. Blaine was greeting some of the guests as they arrived at the venue.

Scrap and Inkspot were in the front row, so they could see everything.

As Blaine looked outside there was a loud clap of thunder and he gasped in horror.

A blonde woman was walking up the steps. She had on a red tracksuit, of all things, and could loudly be heard seemingly talking to herself.

"Need to get inside to see my favorite nephew lose his virginity. Ooops, oh right, he's already lost that. I forgot. Yes, yes, you'll be here shortly. See you soon," she hung up her old fashioned phone, which promptly disappeared, as she saw Blaine.

"Darling," she rushed over and hugged Blaine, kissing him on each cheek.

Blaine was stunned, "Aunt Sue, I didn't invite you, ah, I mean, I didn't know you were coming!"

"You naughty boy, not giving me much time before the big day. Jesse was kind enough to remind me, I wouldn't want to miss this for the world," she smiled again at him.

She took a closer look at him, "have you done something different? You look like you've put on a few pounds since I saw you last."

"Thank you so much for noticing that, Sue, I'm so glad you could be here for the big day," Blaine said, grinding his teeth.

Just then his uncle Jesse and his mother popped in. Several people did double takes not having seen them a moment before.

Sue turned and waved wildly at them both. Blaine's mother sighed and squared her shoulders.

"It's so nice to see you again, Sue," she said, grinding her teeth.

"You should have that looked at, your jaw is probably out of alignment," Sue said, with a straight face.

Jesse stood there trying his best not to laugh, "all ready for the big day Blaine?"

"I was, I'll be sure to remember your kindness in inviting Aunt Sue, uh, I mean, of course, let me show you to your seats."

"This place is kind of basic isn't it?" Sue asked, staring around the place.

"What? We wanted a simple and elegant wedding, Aunt Sue." Blaine said.

"You're my favorite nephew, you deserve more than that," she muttered.

Scrap had noticed the old bag coming in, "oh no, it's the nut job."

Inkspot looked over, "I had hoped she died, we haven't seen her in ages."

They both sighed deeply, "oh dear, this is going to be a disaster, and we have front row seats, unfortunately."

Blaine got them all seated and went to get ready.

"Can you believe how much weight he's gained?" Sue asked Jesse.

"He looks different too, you can see it, can't you?"

"Almost like he's got a shine going."

Jesse stared at Sue for a moment and both their eyes bugged out.

"You don't think?"

"Oh my gosh."

After that, they both sat there in silence with their thoughts.

Blaine was at the front by the officiant. The music started and Burt and Kurt appeared, both dressed to perfection and beaming.

Sue turned and looked at Kurt, he looked just like a porcelain doll she thought.

She looked as he started down the aisle and decided that her nephew deserved more fanfare for his wedding. She clapped her hands together loudly, causing everyone to stare in her direction for a moment.

Suddenly there were lots of cooing noises coming from the ceiling, white doves were littering the rafters. Everyone looked up and gasped, no one had noticed them before. One by one they started flying over the service, suddenly beautiful rainbow colored bubbles were floating through the air, everyone gasped in wonder, it looked like the birds were pooping bubbles out, Kurt and Burt stopped dead in their tracks, halfway down the aisle.

Sue claps again and there is a 40 piece orchestra behind Kurt's friend, Mercedes, as she's supposed to be singing Kurt down the aisle.

Kurt looks at Blaine and they both look terrified for a moment before they both nod and square their shoulders. Nothing was going to ruin their wedding day.

Burt finally got Kurt down the aisle and handed him off to Blaine. They both smiled at each other before leaning in to kiss, after that both hugged Burt tightly.

Burt walked over to sit with Carole, wiping tears from his eyes.

Scrap looked around, "what is that crazy bitch going to do next?"

Inkspot just sat there, "she's not really all there, it could be almost anything."

Mercedes finished singing and the boys faced each other for the ceremony.

The officiant welcomed everyone and then did the traditional speech.

"Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace"

There was a huge explosion and the ground rocked like an earthquake was happening, everyone turned to the doors at the back of the room where Blaine's father had appeared. "This wedding is a blasphemy, no one should be able to marry my son but one of pure blood."

Blaine looked on, horrified and stunned as his father stomped up the aisle.

"Who the hell are you?" Burt stood up, angrily, "you're ruining my son's wedding."

"On the contrary, I'm saving my son from marriage below his stature."

Blaine walked down the aisle meeting his father part way, "you weren't invited, and have no say in my life anymore. Begone!" As Blaine spoke his eyes began to glow and it seemed like static electricity surrounded his body.

He threw his hand out and his father went shooting back as if he'd been hit in the stomach, flying out the open doors.

Sue stood up and clapped her hands together, causing the doors to slam shut and become locked and barred. She smiled at Blaine and nodded.

Everyone was stunned speechless.

Blaine's mother looked proudly at Blaine, her little powerhouse all grown up.

Outside, they could hear banging at the door.

A wind rushed through the room picking up speed as it slammed the doors open once more and blew Blaine's father miles away, like a hurricane. The doors quickly shut and locked themselves again as Sue clapped her hands together, like she was dusting them off.

Blaine's mother looked at Sue, "thank you."

"You bet," Sue said, smirking.

Jesse couldn't help but start laughing so hard he was on the floor.

Kurt looked at Blaine, "are you okay?"

Blaine looked shaken and pale, but he nodded his head. "Shall we get married, my soulmate, my one true love?"

Kurt nodded and they proceeded up the aisle together arm in arm.

As they proceeded to say their vows, the doves started up again, only this time there were tiny heart shaped flowers raining down. Sue cackled to herself.

With the final words, "I do." The ceremony wrapped up and Blaine and Kurt turned to the audience. Kurt looked at Blaine and they seemed to communicate in their heads for a minute.

"Thank you everyone for coming to our wedding day! It means the world to Blaine and I to have you, our cherished family, and friends, here today. I know you must have lots of questions about what happened here. Blaine and his family have magic abilities. They weren't supposed to come out at our ceremony; but the best laid plans and all," Kurt said, with a shrug of his shoulders, chuckling.

Blaine spoke next, "I hope you will all understand the need for keeping this secret, otherwise Kurt and I won't have a chance at a life together, with all the publicity and people seeking favors."

Everyone was still stunned, but had seen things with their own eyes. They were quickly herded to the reception next door. Blaine and Kurt held hands and greeted everyone as they came through. Burt stood next to Kurt, "I should have figured it out before, the umbrella and the pie incident," shaking his head.

"No one would have guessed or believed without seeing it dad," Kurt said. "I'm so glad you didn't have another heart attack!"

"I'm made of tougher stuff than that, we are Hummel's afterall," Burt laughed, patting Kurt on the back.

Sue and Jesse came through the line.

"It's so good to see you nephew, with your very own porcelain doll too," Sue said, nodding at Kurt and pinching his cheek.

"Welcome to the family. Sue looked at Jesse and they both turned to Blaine. "When are you due?"

"Due? Due for what?" Blaine said, looking thoroughly confused as they both.

"You don't know? How?" they both gasped.

"Blaine, you're pregnant."
