xxx Konoha xxx
It was a beautiful afternoon in the village of Konoha, its citizens were mingling with one another, the shopping district was bustling with noise, and the red light district was roaring with crime. However, throughout all of this, a lone shadow made its way around the village, slinking through alleyways without a sound. Stopping every so often to listen in on a conversation that piqued its interest.
Eventually, it found itself on the wall of the Hokage tower, just outside the window. Peaking in, it noticed that the room was temporarily empty, seeing that it had a chance to slip in unnoticed; it perched itself on top of a bookshelf, sitting in a way that its legs dangled over the edge, subconsciously kicking every now and then, much like a bored child.
It didn't have to wait long though, as the door opened and a woman in white robes walked in with grace that only experience could bring, the shadow made note of four other shadows that each took up positions in the room. One in the corner by the door, another next to the lone couch in the room, and the final two took positions on either side of the now-sitting woman.
Hours passed, with the shadow growing bored with each second since all it did was watch the woman do paperwork. The shadow had been kicking its legs in boredom for the last few hours and unknowingly the sound had caught the woman's attention, evidenced by her glancing at the bookshelf every so often.
The woman's frustration at the noise seemed to finally reach its breaking point as she stood from her seat and approached the shelf until she stood directly in front of the source of the sound, which had abruptly stopped the moment she did so, she gazed into the empty spot on top of the bookshelf, while unseen yellow-green eyes gazed back with mirth and curiosity.
The impromptu staring contest was broken when a knock resounded on the door to the room, tearing her eyes from the bookshelf, the woman made her way back to her seat and spoke for the first time since she entered the room.
"Enter." She said with clear agitation.
Upon her permission, the door opened and three elderly people entered the room, causing the woman's mood to visibly decrease.
"Danzo…" the woman growled, immediately peaking the shadow on the shelf's attention.
"Tsunade…" the man returned with a calm voice.
"What do you want?" The newly named Tsunade spat out.
"To discuss our problems with Iwa and Orochimaru's invasion plan." The man replied.
"What do you want me to do? We don't have the forces required to defend, and your dumbass went behind my back and had our most potential ninja executed for killing the Uchiha in his retrieval mission."
"She had failed the mission as well as killed the last loyal Uchiha, she got off lightly!" The elderly woman to the left of Danzo yelled.
"Yes, she did kill him, and I'm glad she did. One less arrogant clan to deal with." Tsunade retorted.
"Tsunade…" the elderly man to the right of Danzo hissed.
"What? The boy was a traitor, and the punishment for that was death, so in my eyes, he got what he deserved. Do you want to know who didn't get what they deserved? Naruko! That poor girl suffered every day in the village because of you old fools, and when she kills the Uchiha after their attacks collide and then explode, which by the way nearly killed her too!" She paused to take a breath. "The only reason she survived is because of the 9-tails healing her… it's too bad it was unable to heal her having her head cut off." She said the last part under her breath.
Throughout her speech, Danzo's expression didn't waver an inch, while the other two morphed into rage, but before they could blow their tops Danzo spun on his heel and strolled out of the room, quickly followed by his cronies.
Unnoticed by the occupants of the room as well as the retreating elders, the shadow from the shelf slinked after its target.

Danzo Shimura sat behind his oak desk in his office, getting a report from one of his root members. The room was slightly bigger than the office for the Hokage, his desk sat in the middle, and a row of filing cabinets lined both walls of the room, creating a hallway that led to his desk.
The room had 7 occupants, Danzo, the root member in front of him, four others scattered about the room, and a shadow that was perched directly behind him eyeing everyone in the room.
'There are too many people in the room for us to kill Danzo without someone noticing, plus his body would be found within minutes of his death from what we have observed.' It thought, 'We should probably inform Mommy and see what she wants us to do.'

Artoria was standing in the garden behind the tower, mentally preparing herself for her confrontation with her daughter. Just as she was about to begin the chant a voice she recognized spoke in her mind.
'Mommy?' The voice prodded her mind.
'Yes, Jack?' She answered back.
'There's currently no way for us to kill Danzo Shimura without someone finding out.' She informed her.
'Where's he at now?' Artoria asked.
'He's been sitting in a room surrounded by people who hide in the shadows like us for the last few hours.'
'Then kill them all, those men are a part of his root and are loyal only to him.' Artoria told her.
'That's not the problem, mommy. More and more of them keep entering and leaving the room.'
Artoria pondered for a moment before asking, 'Is it possible for you to quietly kill his entire root force?' She asked.
The voice in her head replied in a chipper tone 'Yes, but it will take a while as there are so many.'
'I have faith in you, Jack.' Artoria replied before hearing Jack let out a manic giggle. "I almost feel bad for Danzo and his root." She spoke aloud.
Looking back to the summoning circle she drew, she chanted to summon her daughter. Crimson light erupted from the center of the circle, nearly engulfing Artoria in its blaze. Once it died down, an armored figure stood in front of her, it wore a suit of bulky armor covered in red decorations and markings. The armor came with a retractable horned helmet, after a moment the helmet retracted, revealing a face identical to Artoria's.
Green eyes met green and narrowed dangerously, "Father." The newcomer spoke in a tone so cold that made Artoria involuntarily wince.
"My daughter…" Artoria began before stepping to the side as a sword crashed down where she had been previously.
"Don't call me that!" The clone demanded.
"Mordred, please calm down, I didn't summon you to fight. I wish to make amends for my failures." Artoria pleaded, hoping her daughter would see reason, however, it seemed luck wasn't on her side.
"Shut up!" Mordred roared, once again swinging her sword in a rage, this time meeting another sword in a clang.
The two began trading sword strikes, although it was clear that one was holding back and fighting defensively. After about 10 minutes of dodging, Artoria realized this was going nowhere and sheathed her sword while dodging, and in the same motion tripped her attacker causing them to crash into her chest.
Before Mordred could pull back, she was wrapped in a strong hug that stopped her in her tracks, she had never been hugged by the person in front of her before, and she didn't know how to react. She was broken from her thoughts when she heard the obvious sound of water clinking on her armor, glancing up to the sky she noted that it wasn't raining, meaning there could only be one source for the sound.
Turning her head slowly, she confirmed her suspicions, Artoria Pendragon, the former King of Camelot was softly crying into her shoulder. "Father?" She asked with disbelief evident in her tone.
Artoria shook her head, "I'm not your father, I'm your mother." She whispered, no longer crying. She honestly felt embarrassed for crying in front of her daughter, but her guilt and sorrow had come to the surface the moment she hugged her daughter for the first time.
Mordred was even more stunned, she had always been told to call her "Father"... "Why?" She finally asked, feeling it was the only valid question.
"It's the reason I summoned you, I had been honest when I said I wished to make amends as I have been given a second chance to do so..." She tightened her grip, "...and I intend to make full use of it."
"Second chance? What the hell are you talking about?" Mordred asked.
Artoria pulled back, her hands on Mordred's shoulders, "I won the grail, and had my wish granted."
Mordred's eyes widened, "You did? What did you wish for?" She asked.
"I made two wishes into one, the first was to return to my previous life to take revenge on those who scorned me, and the second was to be able to summon Servants and I was given a book with a few Servants to summon. I've already summoned three including you."
Mordred tilted her head in confusion, "Who'd you summon?" She asked, deciding to put off her questions about her mother's past life.
"First I summoned Jack The Ripper, who is now your younger sister, and then I summoned Medea."
"Wait, younger sister?" Mordred asked in shock.
Artoria sighed, "Jack sees me as her mother, and seeing as this is a new chance in our lives, I saw no harm in calling her my daughter."
"Huh, so I've got a serial killer as my sister now?" Mordred asked with a blank face.
"Yes." Artoria nodded.
"Where's she at now?" Mordred asked intrigued.
"Currently? Probably slaughtering a future threat that I asked her to get rid of." Artoria answered.
Mordred raised an eyebrow, "and Medea? Where is she at?"
"She's repairing the buildings that will be a part of our new Kingdom."
"Oh? Who's gonna live in this kingdom?" Mordred asked.
"As of now, us and the other Servants I have yet to summon. I have an idea that has a small chance of working, although it may not be morally correct."
"What do you mean?" Mordred's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"There's a technique in Konoha that can raise the dead for a period of time, I just wonder if we can use the mana in the air to possibly bring them back to life for real."
"Who do you plan to bring back?" Mordred asked, visibly confused.
"The Uzumaki clan, which used to be my clan before I was executed."
"You plan to bring back an entire clan?" Mordred gave her mother a skeptical look.
"Yes, I need an army to protect the kingdom while we're out, and from my memories of my fallen clan, they were the best of the best." Artoria said.
"I see…" Mordred said with a blank face.
"Enough about that, I have decades of neglect to make up so let's start slow." With that, Artoria once again closed the distance and enveloped the tomboy in a hug.
Mordred stiffened in the embrace, still not used to being hugged, after a moment she slowly wrapped her arms around her mother's back, and squeezed. She'd never admit it out loud, but she really enjoyed the hug.
xxx Konoha Underground xxx
The Underground complex of one Danzo Shimura was decorated with a sea of blood and bodies. Standing in the middle, on top of a corpse with her blades glinting in the little light that entered the room was Jack.
Her yellow-green eyes gazed intensely at the person across from her, the man known as the darkness of ninja, Danzo Shimura. The man stared back with no visible emotion, but Jack knew he was angry.
A grin split her face, as she stared at the man waiting for him to make the first move. After a moment he did, reaching his left arm to the sling that held his right. In one motion he ripped it off along with the bandages underneath, revealing multiple red eyes with strange black patterns in them.
She raised a snow-colored eyebrow, "What are those eyes for?" She asked with what seemed to be childlike curiosity.
The man didn't respond, he only blitzed forward, a katana that appeared from nowhere materializing in his hand. He swung at the diminutive figure of Jack, slashing straight through her gut, the man let a victorious smirk appear on his face.
The smirk fell almost as quickly as it appeared when Jack's body shimmered and vanished, stepping back in confusion, Danzo barely had time to blink as a blade crashed through his neck, only for Danzo in turn, to shimmer and vanish.
Jack blinked in confusion and looked to where the man had reformed, she made a note that one of the eyes on his arm was now closed. "Ah!" She chirped in a happy tone, "That's what those eyes are for!" She said, her malicious grin nearly splitting her face in two.
She vanishes from Danzo's sight and splits the man in half, only for him to reform a second later. She once again dashed at the man and began slashing the man from multiple directions with him reforming each time.
Growling in frustration, she upped her speed and began ruthlessly slaughtering the man over and over and over and over again, all the while Danzo's confidence slowly began to fade and fear appeared in the man's eyes. He'd been barely keeping count of the number of eyes he had left, and he was half out, it didn't help his situation that he couldn't find an opening to gain space.
The merciless assault continued for a few more seconds before he finally found a moment to back off, however, it wasn't by his choice, as he felt a foot crash into his gut, sending him soaring to the opposite wall and creating a crater with spider cracks expanding from the center.
Grunting in pain the man looked at his attacker, only to see her pouting at him. He took this moment to glance at his arm and grimaced when he saw he only had two eyes remaining from the hundred he had previously. Turning back to the girl in front of him he saw that her pout hadn't diminished, he hated to admit it, but the girl unnerved him.
The way she stealthily killed his entire force and he didn't realize until the head of his second in command, Sai, landed on his desk. He had no idea how she had done it, and he knew he'd never find out as she clearly didn't plan to let him escape.
He watched as the girl crossed her arms across her small chest, her pout deepening, as she began talking to herself, "Mommy said to kill him in our most gruesome way, but we can't do that if he keeps coming back…" she then began to tap her chin in thought, before shrugging, "Oh well, I'll just apologize to mommy when we get back."
Danzo paused at what he heard, it seemed this girl wasn't acting alone, as she was sent here by her mother, he idly wondered who the girl's mother was and what beef she had with him. He also made note that the woman in question hated him enough to want him to suffer a gruesome death, if he survived this encounter he'd have to look into this.
He was broken from his thoughts when he felt the familiar feeling of a blade entering his throat, dissolving and reappearing he grunted as he successfully parried a blade strike, seemingly surprising the girl as this was the first time he'd actually managed a successful parry.
He took advantage and tried to drive his katana through her heart, only to stare in shock as it fazed through her body and didn't leave a scratch. Looking at the girl, he saw an innocent look cross her face as if she didn't want him to know his attacks literally had no chance of damaging her the entire time.
Once again the blade entered his body, this time through his right eye. He reappeared and true fear entered his body as the girl once again turned to him, he watched as her eyes trailed to his right arm and a sadistic grin stretched across her face.
"All of those eyes are closed!" She observed, cheerily. "Does that mean you can no longer come back?" She asked with childlike curiosity again.
Danzo frowned but refused to answer. He didn't want to give her the incentive that her accurate guess was right, even if he had one more Sharingan eye in his right eye. He didn't want to use that eye to bring himself back but he would if he had no other choice.
The girl shrugged the same way she had before, "Oh well, I'll just begin now!" She chirped before a white aura surrounded her and spread throughout the room, touched the walls, and glowed one more time before fading.
"Let's begin!" She cheered, before stalking forward. If the barrier hadn't been placed, you'd be able to hear the pained screams of one elderly war hawk.
