The Warriors: Small Soldiers

Chapter 5

A boy named Alan who works at a toy store got some packages from a company called GloboTech Industries and his friend Joe was delivering them while wanting to deliver a package to his dad who wasn't home Alan was then helping Joe with some stuff and had a special surprise

Joe was outside with Alan giving him some cardboard standees of the action figures

Thanks, Joe. I owe you one. Alan said

You owe me twelve. Good luck, kid. Joe said

Yeah. Alan said

Oh, one more thing Alan. Joe said

What is it? Alan said

I got a package for you. Joe said

A package? Alan said

Yeah. Joe said

Joe opened the back door of his truck and gave Alan a package

Here. Joe said

For me? Alan said

Yeah. For you. Joe said

I didn't buy a package. Alan said

It's from me. Joe said

Really? Alan said

Of course. Joe said

From you? Alan said

Yeah. Joe said

Really? Alan said

Okay, you got me. It was from someone really weird. Joe said

How weird? Alan said

Really weird. Joe said

Oh. Alan said

She told me to give this package to you. Joe said

To me? Why? Alan said

I told you. It's someone really weird. Joe said

Okay. Alan said

Alan then looked at the package and it had the word The Warriors on it

"The Warriors"? Alan said

Yeah. The Warriors. Joe said

Are these action figures? Alan said

Yeah. Joe said

Old or new? Alan said

Why don't you go open it and find out? Joe said

I'll do it later. Alan said

Sure you will. Joe said

Seriously. I will. Alan said

If you say so. Joe said

Anyway thanks, Joe. I'll see you later. Joe said

See ya, Alan. Joe said

A few more minutes later

Alan was in the storage room moving some boxes and then left and after he left Archer and Chip came to life again and faced off

Freeze. Chip said

I will not. Archer said

I'm sure you will. Chip said

No. I won't. Archer said

Alan was moving the boxes in the toy store and saw a girl with a little boy outside he tried to look good as the girl and the little boy entered the toy store

But I wanted to go to Toy World. Timmy said

Life is full of disappointments. Go look around. Christy said

Okay. Timmy said

Be quick. Christy said

Timmy then looked around the store while Christy approached Alan

Is something wrong? Alan said

His birthday is next week. Mom said i had to take him shopping. Christy said

Great. Alan said

Thanks. Christy said

What kind of stuff is he into? Alan said

Oh, you know, dinosaurs, mutants. Anything that maims, kills, or destroys. Christy said

I just got in... Alan said

Really? Christy said

Yeah. It's my first day. Alan said

Cool. Christy said

Thanks. Alan said

Can i ask you something? Christy said

Sure. What is it? Alan said

You're Alan Abernathy, right? Christy said

Yeah. Why? Alan said

You moved into the house behind mine. I've heard about you. Christy said

You have? Alan said

Yeah. How come I never see you after school? Christy said

I'm kind of stuck here. Alan said

What kind of toy store is this? Christy said

It's my dad's. Alan said

Really? Christy said

He thinks these toys are cool. Too bad nobody else does. Alan said

I'm sure some think they're cool. Christy said

Yeah. Maybe. Alan said

While Christy was talking with Alan Timmy was walking around the store and went into the storage room with two action figures talking to each other

The Commando Elite will rid the Earth of the Gorgonites. Chip said

The Gorgonites are peaceful. We mean no harm. Archer said

Gorgonite, you are a hideous freak. You will be vaporized. Chip said

Whoa. Timmy said

Archer and Chip then turned and saw Timmy who was watching them

Civilian, declare your allegiance. Chip said

Chip then fired red plastic missile at Timmy who was watching

Ow. Timmy said

Timmy then excited after what he saw just now

Hey cool. Timmy said

Timmy then approached Alan and Christy as he was excited about something

Hey sis. Sis. Timmy said

What is it, Timmy? Christy said

I know what i want! Timmy said

You do? Christy said

Yeah. Timmy said

Tell me then. Christy said

I want the soldier! Timmy said

What? Christy said

I said i want the soldier. Timmy said

Timmy. Can you please explain? Christy said

Do i have to? Timmy said

Yes. Christy said

They're walking and fighting and they're so cool! Timmy said

Walking and fighting? Alan said

Yeah. Timmy said

You must be seeing things Timmy. Christy said

No i'm not. Timmy said

Well you clearly are. Christy said

I'm not. Timmy said

Really? Christy said

Yeah. Timmy said

Okay then prove it. Christy said

Prove it? Timmy said

Yeah. Prove it. Christy said

How? Timmy said

Did you see them walking and talking? Christy said

I did. Timmy said

Show us then. Christy said

Okay. Timmy said

Did you go into the storage room? Alan said

Yeah. Timmy said

That must have been the Gorgonites and the Commando Elites action figures. Alan said

Gorgonites and Commando Elites? Timmy said

Yeah. Alan said

Do you know what he's talking about? Christy said

It's just some new action figures that came into the toy store. Alan said

New action figures? Christy said

Yup. And they're pretty cool. Alan said

Can we please see them? Christy said

Well they're not ready to be put on shelves yet. Alan said

It'll be quick. Christy said

Okay. Let's go. Alan said

Great. Timmy show us the walking and talking action figures. Christy said

Okay. Timmy said

They then went into the storage room but saw nothing but empty boxes on the table

I don't see anything. Christy said

Where'd they go? Timmy said

Are you sure you weren't seeing things? Christy said

I wasn't. Honest. Timmy said

Timmy come on. Christy said

I'm telling the truth. Timmy said

Sure you are. Christy said

I am. Timmy said

Let's just check around. Christy said

They check around before approaching the table with the empty boxes

What about this one? Christy said

No, i want the other one. Timmy said

What other one? Christy said

Here, Major Chip Hazard. He's the one. Timmy said

That's the one you want? Christy said

Yeah. Timmy said

Hoq much are these? Christy said

A lot. Alan said

There's no way Mom and Dad are gonna buy you one of these. Christy said

Yes, they will. Timmy said

How? Christy said

They buy you those stupid Gwendy dolls. Timmy said

All right, Timmy. Christy said

Are you gonna buy me one? Timmy said

Yes. I will buy you one. Christy said

Cool. Timmy said

Just don't make fun of my dolls again. Christy said

Deal. Timmy said

Good. Now let's go. Christy said

Christy then grabbed Timmy's hand as they were about to leave

Are you gonna buy these action figures? Alan said

Yes. Christy said

Like i said they cost a lot. Alan said

Save me one of the buff guys. Christy said

And a monster, too. Timmy said

I don't think so, you little brat. Christy said

I'll find it and hold it till tomorrow. Alan said

How about the flame-thrower? Christy said

No problem. Alan said

Sweet. Timmy said

They then exited the storage room and were back in the toy store

When will I get that toy? Timmy said

Never, if you don't shut up. Christy said

Come on Sis. Timmy said

Bye. Christy said

Bye. Alan said

Say "hi" once in a while. Christy said

I will. Alan said

Great. See ya later. Christy said

Yeah. See ya. Alan said

Christy and Timmy then left the toy store while Alan watched as a boy on a red motorcycle approached her

Who is that guy? Alan said

Who indeed Alan who indeed but anyway Alan has met Christy who's in the same school as him and the house behind him in the neighborhood stay tuned
