I began writing this during the fall of last year, and I'm only now coming close to finishing it. It was conceived as a novel adaptation to the Orinda Campaign storyline only touched upon briefly in sourcebooks and mentioned once in the Black Fleet Crisis novels. I figured the storyline, which already included Wedge and Rogue Squadron, would make for a perfect entry into the X-wing series, thus why I named it such. Originally the novel was not going to include Wraith Squadron, but I decided to include them as a sort of B storyline in order to flesh out their intelligence work under the New Republic a bit better. The rest of the novel will hopefully be finished by next month, and I will have it up here when it is. Enjoy!
