Since i forgot to specify; Chris got his cast from the beginning of the season off around episode 7.
The next morning Lincoln groaned as he was awakened but ended up screaming as he noticed that he was tied to a pole on a wooden ship with Courtney and Gwen which woke them up and on another pole there was Zoey, Bridgette and Brady who were awakened and screamed. "What is going on... Were we abducted in our beds..." Courtney screamed trying in vain to get loose.
"If only Ezekiel was still here and had his switchblade with him..." groaned Lincoln shaking his head.
"Why are we here... Who could have done this..." Bridgette screamed as Gwen looked frustrated as she was visibly angry.
"Who do you think? Chris probably took us here for whatever today's challenge is..." Gwen then said with a hint of sarcasm to her rhetorical question.
"Not good... Last time we were on a ship for a challenge; we crashed into the island and were hunted by a slasher..." Brady pointed out as he was trying to use his muscle to break free of the rope.
"So is today's challenge pirate themed? Only pirate movie I have seen is Muppets Treasure Island..." Zoey said as Courtney managed to untie the knot in the ropes to free herself, Lincoln and Gwen and did the same to Zoey, Bridgette and Brady.
"Pays off to be a a CIT!" Courtney bragged as swinging from a rope is Chris dressed as a pirate captain with a fake parrot on his shoulder. "Looks like you were right Zoey..." sighed Courtney as Chris grinned.
"Ahoy scallywags; today's challenge is pirate movie day! I see that Lincoln is already set!" Chris explained in a pirate accent and Lincoln just shook his head with his arms folded with Chris pointing to his eyepatch. "A swashbuckling obstacle course where the first one to save the damsel from Chef Scarybeard wins immunity!" Chris said showing them to the guard rails of the ship to see another ship where Chef had a cutlass and pointing to a plank where Sammy who was tied up and looking afraid as she looked down to see hungry sharks.
"Uh Chef... When was the last time these sharks were fed..." Sammy asked afraid as Chris grinned and laughed evilly making her gulp.
"Imported rare and dangerous sharks these were... Cost quite a bit of moolah that we had to take out of the safety budget..." Chris laughed to the contestants.
They were open mouthed shocked and Bridgette shouted out "SAMMY!" She then looked furious at Chris and snapped at him saying "this is cruel and unusual punishment! This is beyond unacceptable and I can't believe that I ever thought that you were cool! You are just a heartless sadistic monster with little empathy!"
"Has that only occurred to her now? After all we had experienced and if she is as a big fan of the show as she claimed then she must have seen the last season right?" Gwen asked in the confessional.
"I know but don't worry I have this shark repellent for you all that came with my costume that I used yesterday!" Chris laughed as he took out a spray and then sprayed them causing them to cough. "Anyway your obstacles are to go to the poop decks and get a cutlass. Then climb up on the mast and swing down on the ropes to the cannon. Fire yourselves out to the other ship and then duel Chef Scarybeard to save the damsel before she walks the plank!" Chris said as he pointed to the toilets making them gulp.
"So up for us 2 being a small crew?" Courtney asked Lincoln as he gave a thumbs up causing Gwen to frown but Bridgette shook her head as she ran to the end of the ship.
"I am not going to go along with this! I am going to save Sammy now!" Bridgette snapped jumping down to their shock and swimming to the water as she swam around the sharks.
"She is probably the bravest and most heroic of us all..." Lincoln muttered as Chris shook her head.
"To bad that she has gotten herself disqualified and so... On your marks... Get set... Go!" Chris said making them hesitant but looking over and saw Bridgette looking up to them and and gave them a thumbs up caused them to go ahead to the toilets.
They stopped at the smell that was coming from the toilets; "I can handle it... A lot of stink at my house..." Lincoln said and Courtney grinned.
"You can handle that for us and I can focus on the swashbuckling while you then save Sammy!" Courtney told him and he grinned as he went into the toilets with his fingers holding onto his nose.
Brady, Gwen and Zoey were hesitant about going in yet but gave Courtney looks; "Kind of looks like that Lincoln is your first mate and not your equal crewmember..." Gwen stated before going in with Zoey as Lincoln got out with swords for him and Courtney as they then ran.
"Who does Gwen think she is to claim that? We are a team and teams use their strengths to their advantage; it just so happens that I am coming up with most of the strategies and Lincoln chooses to go along with them." Courtney said with her arms folded in the confessional glaring at the camera.
Courtney got up onto the mast first and Lincoln was barely hanging on and Courtney gave him a hand to help him up. "So was the smell not that bad Lincoln?" Courtney decided to ask as Lincoln laughed.
"Are you kidding; I was expecting worst... Compared to the bathrooms back home after Lynn or Lana used it; by comparison the toilets in there were more like sweet perfume..." Lincoln answered as they swung down together.
"I know my family is watching back home and that my sisters and parents will back me up on that..." Lincoln said confidently in the confessional.
They swooped down to the cannons and looked hesitant; "I can give it a go first..." Lincoln muttered as Courtney eagerly helped him inside and aimed the cannon and fired with him yelling. Gwen came over and glared at Courtney as she looked at her.
"What? He volunteered..." Courtney snapped at her.
"You were kind of eager to let my boyfriend and your supposed "teammate" try out that cannon firing..." Gwen said as they stared off with Zoey and Brady coming over.
At the other ship Sammy was looking over the plank to see Bridgette underneath; "Jump down Sammy and I will catch you!" Bridgette told her as Sammy was screaming but Chef pushed past with Chris behind him.
"Hey! You sabotaged this challenge already by breaking the rules!" Chris snapped as Lincoln being fired out of the cannon ended up pushing Chris into the water as he then began swimming away in fright as the sharks were chasing him but then there was eels and jellyfish that began stinging him causing him to yell in pain.
Chef was pushed as well but his fingers were holding onto the plank with him begging for mercy. Lincoln groaned as he got up but Sammy looked nervous and then looked to Bridgette. "You don't have to put up with the abuse of working here anymore Sammy! You have dignity and deserves respect!" Bridgette screamed out and Sammy thought it over with Lincoln looking over her encouragingly as the others were sent flying onto the ship and then Lincoln went to help them up.
"You are right... I have been treated badly by my sister my whole life and while this show isn't as bad... I shouldn't have to take this... Remember Chef when I was trying out the challenges for the beach movie episode and how I was in your position and you were in mine... How did that turn out!" Sammy said determinedly and grinned as Chef looking at her pleadingly. She just stood on his fingers causing him to fall.
They all looked overboard to watch the two as Bridgette climbed into the ship and Sammy helped her up so they could watch. "This is like how last season ended. This time we didn't have to wait until after the final challenge..." laughed Gwen as they all laughed at the screaming.
"Yessir... Amy; the pushover that left the house isn't coming back!" cheered Sammy in the confessional and looked surprised at herself.
At the stand for the award ceremony the contestants were sitting down with Lincoln and Gwen together but Gwen was frowning. "Something the matter Gwen?" Lincoln asked as Gwen sighed.
"You remember how you said that you wouldn't let Courtney go too far in your alliance? Well I can't help but wonder if your partnership has now become uneven in her favour. That you are her underling now..." Gwen told him and his eyes widened.
"What? We are friends and partners; she just happens to have plans first that I go along with!" Lincoln defended as Gwen shook her head.
"Make sure that it's still a partnership and she doesn't have you do something underhanded..." Gwen warned him as Sammy coughed as she went to the podium in her dress with them clapping.
"Thank you very much and well... Chris and Chef are at the doctors being seen about their stings and being electrocuted in the water and the higher ups haven't contacted us and we don't knew when the two will be out of the doctors yet but... They say that the show must go on..." Sammy said as they all clapped. "Anyway for the first Gilded Chris and it goes to Lincoln since technically speaking he came closest to duelling Chef to save me and I am super thankful by the way!" Sammy said throwing Lincoln his Gilded Chris. "Sorry Bridgette but Chris did say that you were disqualified so..." Sammy muttered apologetically as she threw everyone else their GIided Chrises but Bridgette came up smiling and went to the stage.
Bridgette then embraced her and Sammy shocked did the same with Lincoln and Zoey giving awe reactions. Bridgette let go and said "don't worry Sammy as I would have done what I did again in a heartbeat. Thanks for being my friend and to all the cool people that I befriended on the show thanks the same as well! Plus placing 6th in a contest with 16 is nothing to be ashamed about!"
They clapped as Bridgette waved to them as she was going to the Walk of Shame but from the Lame-O-Sine came out Matthew Draven Jr who came to the stage with Bridgette deciding to watch from outside the stage.
"Hello everyone; I am Matthew Draven Jr the executive producer of Total Drama and I am here to tell you that Chris McLean and Cheffrey Hatchet will be in the hospital for at least a month and will be in no condition to continue the show." Matthew said with cheers from the contestants but then their eyes widened while Sammy looked nervous.
"So does this mean that Don is coming back to replace them?" Courtney asked as Gwen's eyes widened.
"Wait a minute... Cheffrey? Chef is his actual name?" Gwen asked as Sammy hesitatingly looked up at Matthew.
"So what does this mean Mr Draven sir?" Sammy asked as Matthew smiled at her.
"As of this moment; consider yourself promoted Ms Sammy. You are to serve as host for the remainder of the season." Mathew said as they were stunned silence as Sammy was open mouthed but Bridgette ran to the stage to embrace Sammy again as they all clapped for her and cheered.
"I'm... The new host?" Sammy asked as Bridgette let go and then gave her a grin and a thumbs up as she went back to the Walk of Shame. Bridgette then cheered for herself as she jumped on the spot. "This is the coolest thing that ever happened to me... I will be making sure that the show's challenges are more survivable while still being exciting!" Sammy said to the crowd and then ran up to a camera. "I guess I should close out this show... Ahem... 5 left and only 4 will go to this season's double elimination challenge to decide the final 2 who will be competing for this season's million dollar prize! I'm Sammy the host and I will see you all next time on Total... Drama... Action!" Sammy said to the camera excitedly.
