Doctor: He's starting to come around.
Petunia: (Sighs in relief) Thank goodness.
Doctor: I will go over his lab work to make sure everything checks out.
Petunia: Thanks, doc.
(Petunia goes over to Archibald's hospital bed while the doctor leaves the room)
Petunia: Archie? Can you hear me?
(Archibald groans then opens his eyes then looks around then looks over at Petunia)
Archibald: (Groggily) Petunia?
(Petunia leans over then kisses Archibald's forehead then lips)
Petunia: You really had me worried.
Archibald: I don't understand. How did I get here?
Petunia: Don't you remember?
Archibald: No.
Petunia: You fainted when we found out I was pregnant with triplets, silly.
Archibald: (Surprised) You mean I wasn't dreaming?
Petunia: (Giggles) Nope. This is real.
(Archibald looks down at Petunia's belly)
Archibald: (Surprised) You mean there's three babies inside there?
Petunia: That's right, three babies.
Archibald: (Surprised) I...I really don't know what to say. I'm...speechless.
Petunia: (Hopeful) Well...are you happy about this?
(Archibald looks up at Petunia then down at her belly then back up at her then smiles warmly)
Archibald: No...I'm not happy.
(Petunia looks confused)
Archibald: (Chuckles) I'm thrilled.
(Petunia smiles then leans over then kisses Archibald then they pull away)
Archibald: I suppose having me faint wasn't the best response.
Petunia: Because you were shocked by the news. I almost felt like fainting myself.
(Archibald smirks at Petunia)
Archibald: Are you just saying that to make me feel better?
Petunia: Is it working?
Archibald: (Chuckles) Like a charm.
(Archibald looks down at Petunia's belly then kisses it)
Archibald: (To Petunia's belly, cooing) Hello, babies. Daddy can't wait to meet you.
(Archibald leans his head against Petunia's belly then looks up at her frowning)
Archibald: I still feel a little bad about how I reacted to this, darling.
Petunia: (Giggles) Don't be. I forgive you and so do our babies. All that matters is that we're both happy about this.
Archibald: Absolutely.
(Archibald kisses Petunia's belly)
Archibald: (Softly) Our three babies.
(Petunia looks down at Archibald at her belly smiling lovingly)
Petunia: (Softly) Our babies, Archie.

(Archibald turns to Petunia then tries to smile)
Archibald: I'm fine darling, really.
(Petunia continues frowning then presses her forehead against Archibald's)
Petunia: No, you're not. Why can't you tell me what's wrong?
Archibald: It's something I don't want to trouble you with. Why don't you go back to sleep?
Petunia: I won't go back to sleep till you talk to me and tell me what your problem is.
(Archibald turns away then Petunia leans her head against Archibald's)
Petunia: Archie, you know you can always share your troubles with me just like I can share my troubles with you. Talk to me, don't build a wall and shut me out.
(Archibald turns to Petunia then kisses her forehead)
Archibald: I'd never shut you out, sweetheart.
(Petunia smiles a little then kisses the tip of Archibald's nose)
Petunia: Then what's going on?
Archibald: (Large exhale) It's about what the doctor said today.
Petunia: You mean about there possibly being complications with one of the triplets?
Archibald: Yes.
Petunia: It's just a slight concern that the doctor has, Archie. She didn't say it could happen.
Archibald: But she also didn't say that it couldn't either.
(Archibald moves to the end of the bed then looks away)
Archibald: All we ever asked and prayed for was to have three healthy babies. But now we have this sudden warning that one of our triplets might not make it. When we first received that bit of information, I thought my heart would stop right there. It did stop. Although the doctor assured us that everything was alright so far, it didn't ease my mind at all. I'd...I'd never felt so afraid. And...I'm still afraid.
(Petunia moves to the end of the bed then sits beside Archibald staring at him in concern then Archibald turns to Petunia also looking concerned)
Archibald: (Worriedly) Petunia, what if we do lose one of our babies?
(Petunia moves closer then presses her forehead against Archibald's)
Petunia: You need to stop thinking things like that, Archie.
Archibald: I can't help it.
Petunia: Archie, listen to me. If you start to worry, then I'll become nervous too. Do you want all three of our babies to be in danger?
Archibald: Of course not.
Petunia: Then you need to relax about this because I can't be calm if you're scared.
Archibald: (Worriedly) But how can I stop being scared about something like this?
(Petunia looks like she has an idea then goes back over to her pillow then looks over at Archibald)
Petunia: Archie, come over here.
(Archibald moves over to Petunia)
Archibald: What is it?
Petunia: Why don't you see if you can feel the babies moving?
(Archibald leans over to Petunia's belly then presses close to it)
Petunia: Just be calm. Loosen your nerves while doing it.
(Archibald slowly exhales then all of the tension in his body drains while he remains at Petunia's belly)
Petunia: Good. Now...do you feel anything?
(Archibald presses closer to Petunia's belly then looks up at Petunia)
Archibald: (Quietly) They're kicking, darling.
Petunia: And are they kicking like they should be?
(Archibald looks down at Petunia's belly then nuzzles it lovingly)
Archibald: They're being our strong babies.
(Archibald kisses Petunia's belly then continues pressing close to it)
Petunia: Now, do you hear anything?
(Archibald presses closer to Petunia's belly then waits then looks up at Petunia)
Archibald: I can hear something.
Petunia: What do you hear?
(Archibald focuses his eyes back on Petunia's belly)
Archibald: I hear three beautiful-sounding heartbeats. Our babies' heartbeats.
Petunia: Mmm-hmm. And whenever one of us feels afraid of something bad happening to them, all we have to do is listen and as long as we hear their hearts beating, we know that our triplets are gonna be okay.
(Archibald looks up at Petunia still at her belly smiling)
Archibald: I love you.
Petunia: (Giggles) I love you too. Do you feel better?
Archibald: I do now.
(Archibald kisses Petunia's belly then presses close to it)
Archibald: (To Petunia's belly, softly) Daddy loves you too, little babies. And me and your Mommy now both know that you're going to come into this world healthy and wonderful.
(Petunia looks down at Archibald at her belly smiling affectionately)
Petunia: Wonderful just like their dad.
(Archibald looks up at Petunia)
Archibald: Wonderful just like their mother.
(Petunia leans back against her pillows then smiles and sighs in content while Archibald remains at her belly)

Mr. Nezzer: (To Esther's belly, baby-talking) Hello in there, my precious baby-waybies. My sweet baby-boos. Did somebody miss their Daddy? Daddy missed you too. Yes, he did, my cutie little twinsies-winsies.
(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther's belly then presses close to it while Esther looks down at him smiling warmly)
Esther: (Giggles) Do you feel them kicking?
(Mr. Nezzer looks up at Esther)
Mr. Nezzer: Mmm-hmm. I can't believe how fast they are already.
Esther: They're definitely energetic.
Mr. Nezzer: Do you think they can hear me talking to them, Essie?
Esther: (Giggles) They can hear you, Nebby.
Mr. Nezzer: Really? Even now?
Esther: Even now.
(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther's belly then looks back up at her)
Mr. Nezzer: I can't wait to meet them.
Esther: And they can't wait to meet us too.
(Mr. Nezzer focuses back on Esther's belly then presses closer to it)
Mr. Nezzer: (To Esther's belly, cooing) You're Mommy and Daddy's babies. We love you, our little gifts.
Esther: (Softly) Our gifts from God.
(Mr. Nezzer looks back up at Esther and smiles lovingly at her then focuses back on her belly then nuzzles it)
Mr. Nezzer: (Softly) Couldn't have said that better myself.

Jimmy: (Confusingly) Ellen? Honey, is everything okay?
(Jimmy leans against the door hearing nothing, concern spreading on his features)
Jimmy: (Worriedly) Ellen? Cupcake? Are you alright?
(The door begins to open causing Jimmy to back away then Ellen comes out of the bathroom holding onto the test, looking down, frowning)
Jimmy: (Worriedly) Ellen?
(Ellen continues looking down at the test then Jimmy approaches her)
Jimmy: Babe, I told you it's okay if it's not the result we're looking for. We'll...we'll keep trying, remember?
Ellen: No, we won't, Jimmy.
Jimmy: We won't?
(Ellen looks up at Jimmy smiling)
Ellen: Because it's not necessary anymore.
Jimmy: (Hopeful) Not necessary? Does that mean...?
(Ellen shows Jimmy the pregnancy test that reads 'Positive')
Ellen: (Happily) Looks like God heard us.
Jimmy: (Happily) We're really gonna have a baby?
Ellen: We're gonna have a baby.
(Jimmy laughs then lifts up Ellen and twirls her around causing her to laugh along with Jimmy then Jimmy places Ellen back down then stares at her lovingly)
Jimmy: I love you.
Ellen: And I love you.
(Jimmy kisses Ellen's forehead)
Jimmy: And you don't have to worry about anything, I'm gonna take care of you and our baby every day.
(Ellen frowns)
Ellen: But dear, you have work to do.
Jimmy: I'll find a job where I can stay at home. I'm not leaving you two for anything or anyone.
Ellen: You'd do that for me?
(Jimmy kisses Ellen then invisibly brushes her hair aside smiling warmly)
Jimmy: (Softly) I'd do it for the three of us.
(Ellen smiles then kisses Jimmy's nose then Jimmy looks down at Ellen's stomach then back up at her)
Jimmy: (Hopeful) Can I say 'hello'?
Ellen: (Giggles) Sure.
(Jimmy kisses Ellen's stomach then faces it)
Jimmy: (To Ellen's stomach, cooing) Hi, little guy or little girl, whichever you turn out to be. I want you to know that we couldn't be more excited that you're gonna be coming into our lives soon. You're gonna have a terrific uncle, our friends who are gonna spoil you rotten. (Looks up at Ellen) and you're gonna have the best Mom in the whole world. (Looks back down at Ellen's stomach) and I might make a couple of mistakes but I promise to be the best Daddy I can towards you.
(Jimmy kisses Ellen's stomach)
Jimmy: (To Ellen's stomach, softly) It's not gonna be easy to wait for you to arrive but it'll totally worth it in the end.
(Jimmy looks back up at Ellen then kisses her)
Jimmy: Shall we call up Jerry and everyone else and tell them the news?
Ellen: Sounds like a plan to me.
(Jimmy kisses Ellen's forehead then they both look down at Ellen's stomach)
Jimmy: I can't believe it. (Turns to Ellen) Our family, Cupcake.
(Ellen kisses Jimmy's cheek)
Ellen: Our family, Jimmy.
