Hi, everyone. It's been a while.

I'm kind of shocked that this story got at least some amount of attention—I'm just someone who decided to write down some ideas when I was in high school. I was always reminded that this was in an unfinished state whenever I'd get an email out of the blue saying someone added this to their favorites, and I would always tell myself that I just needed to figure out what to put in the middle, because I had a good idea of how this story was going to end—admittedly, it was still your typical comeuppance conclusion where Mercury and Emerald got what was coming to them—but the time dedicated to doing so never happened, as you can probably tell.

So, what's going to happen to this story? Well, unfortunately, I can't really say that I want to continue it, which is why I spoiled the ending I had in mind. Around the time that this story was first posted, RWBY's fifth season was airing. I never got around to watching the show beyond that point—I thought the quality had dropped off, and I wasn't a fan of how Rooster Teeth was handling their company, but I was also starting off my college life at around the exact same time, and things got busy really quickly. I don't typically write a whole lot anymore outside of college papers that I pull out of a hat. I certainly can't do the same with a story, which I felt like I'd have had to do, since I knew I wanted to start with Yang getting Phoenix Wright as her lawyer, and him proving her innocence to give her some kind of happy ending, but frankly, I had little to no roadmap and was just kind of winging it, which was a step down from my previous story.

"Then, why bother giving an update on this story at all?", you may be asking.

Well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a few ideas rolling around in my head still, even after all these years.

I have absolutely no idea when anything's going to happen, but I figured I'd at least give myself something to do in my free time besides playing video games, and see if I can't come up with a fun little story to tell. So if you liked what you saw both here and with Viewtiful Miraculous, feel free to stick around.
