Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows Season 01 Episode 03
Raph had been sparing with Mikey and lost his temper nearly hurting his brother with a broken pipe had Leo and Don not stopped him. So he'd ran off to get some air going to a rooftop looking at his hands with his body shaking because of what he'd almost done and his heart had pounded in his chest as he was breathing heavily trying to calm himself down. He'd started going around the different rooftops to blow off all the excess steam hearing a woman calling for help and stopped looking down preparing to help.
"Oh Purple Dragons, come out and play." Someone called and they'd turned to see a man with bluish raven colored hair wearing a hokey mask and toting sports equipment striking a hokey stick against a trashcan.
"It's that guy in the hokey mask, let's get him." One of the Purple Dragon guys called and they'd gone to attack him but he'd been more than they bargined for.
The man smacked one in the head with the trashcan lid, and then struck the second with his hokey stick before knocking down the third guy stating "No mercy, I'm putting you guy out of business permanently." preparing to keep beating on them.
"Whoa, that guy's gonna seriously hurt someone." Raf spoke to himself deciding to jump down and join in the fighting grabbing the guy in the mask stating "Easy there cowboy, you stopped them. You keep going and you'll be just as bad as they are."
While they were distracted the Purple Dragon goons got up and started running off with the guy in the mask punching Raph in the face before chasing after them calling "Get back here Purple Dragon scum, you can run but you can't hide from Casey Jones!"
Raph picked up the woman's purse handing it to her saying "Sorry about all this." as he'd handed it back to her. "Listen try not to tell anyone about the part where I helped out, my dad will be mad at me if he finds out."
The woman takes her pers from him and nods stating "I understad, my dad's overprotective too." before running off and Raph ran after the guy in the mask.
"Damn it they got away!" The guy in the mask yelled angry as Raph had managed to catch up to him fairly easily.
"What's your deal with these Purple Dragons anyway?" Raph questioned the guy putting his hand on their shoulders.
Taking a deep breath the guy responds "My name is Casey Jones, when I was a boy the Purple Dragons killed my father and burned down our store because he refused to pay protection money to a bunch of thugs. I grew up hating those bastards ever since and I plan on finding a way to get rid of the gang once and for all."
"Name's Raphael, you can just call me Raph." They answered back introducing himself too "Dude you got an anger problem worse than mine. My story is.. well it's complicated." He'd answered back as the whole place went dark. "What the shell?"
"Looks like the power's gone out." Casey spoke jumping up to some fire escape and began to climb to the top with Raph following after him. "Damn, this whole side of town's gone dark. Here I thought Blackouts were supposed ot have gone the way of the Earth Dionosaurs."
"My brothers will probably come topside to see what's happening if it affected everything." Raph stated in response running and jumping across a rooftop.
"What you mean there's more of you?" Casey questioned chasing after and jumping across the roof same as Raph.
"I got three brothers." He'd called back continuing to run across the rooftops with Casey following somehow managing to keep up.
Raph had stopped spotting something, or rather someone, climbing up a grapling rope and stopped remembering those guys attacked them before. "What, friends of yours?" The Hokey Masked vigilante questioned looking over at them.
"Definately not." Raph answered back taking out his Com device and calling up Leonardo on it "Leo, I'm at the museum, the one with the pointed glass roof. We got a bunch of those guys that attacked us the other day going in, probably going to steal something."
"We're on our way, stay put." Leo answered back as we see him on screen already having been running off towards that way.
"So.. should we call the Plumbers for this one?" Casey questioned about what was happening right now in front of them.
"Why, didn't call the Plumbers when handling the Purple Dragons." Raph then stated in response to the question.
"Touche." He'd answered back as three other turtles appeared wearing different colored masks to the one Raph was wearing.
We then cut to inside the building as the ninjas had cut the glass around a strange sword and one of them wore a metal glove that they were going to reach for the sword with, however a shuriken had jabbed into the wood of the container and they'd then turned to see just who had thrown it.
"Giftshop's closed." Leonardo called out getting all their attention and the Ninjas were preparing to fight them.
"Tell me I get to fight these guys." Casey spoke swinging his two bats in a circular motion ready for some action.
"Oh ya, go nuts." Mikey answered back and they all began to fight against the ninjas trying to stop them from stealing whatever it was that they were after.
Mikey managed to rip a patch off of one of these guys' shirts while fighting and they all continued to fight against them, with Casey there it had been even easier to handle these guys than it was the last time they'd fought them. That was however, until one of the Ninja guys managed to grab the sword with the metal glove and unleashed some sort of energy from it knocking the five of them back as they were trying to escape and taking the opportunity to leave.
They began to hear sirens with Mikey stating "Oh great, we gotta book it." as they'd ran off alongside Casey who'd gone with them to meet Master Splinter.
"You have revealed yourselves yet again to an outsider, this is starting to become a pattern for you." Splinter spoke about Casey having been there too.
"Hey I ain't gonna say anything, more importantly who were those guys?" Casey answered back before asking about the ninja.
"Oh right, I got one of their patches. Do you recognize it Master Splinter?" Mikey spoke suddenly remembering and handing the thing over to Splinter.
"This is very troubling. The Symbol means trouble for us." Splinter answered back about who those guys were. "I will mediate on it and we will discuss it more in the morning."
After Splinter had gone inside Donny got an idea and went over to his computer stating "I bet we could discover more using the Extranet, they got info on just about everything from every planet."
"I don't see why we can't just go topside, kick some Ninja butt, and find out the story for ourselves." Raphael suggested while beating on a punching bag in the shape of a person.
"Guys, there's another blackout by the south side seaport." Donatello called out to his brothers showing them the information on the computer.
"Any information on the symbol?" Leo questioned his brother about those guys that attacked them and stole the sword.
"No, it's like it doesn't exist." Donny answered back about his searching for the symbol over the Extranet.
"Well what are we waiting for, let's go find out what's happening now." Mikey called out ready to go but Leo stood in their way.
"Master Splinter said we'd discuss this in the morning." Leonardo reminded them about what their father said.
"Hey, he said you guys would discuss the ninjas in the morning. He ain't said nothing about blackouts though." Casey then reminded them making the four of them turn to look at him.
"Oh he's gonna fit in just fine." Michelangelo stated to the others about what Casey had just said to them.
The group had gone off to find out what was going on with Don using a glider of sorts to check around the city discovering someone using the sword while having it attached to some sort of sonic cannon blasting at the water with it. He'd called in the others and they were on their way to meet up with him as he looked for somewhere safe to land.
"We've got visuals on the cannon, only two guys. That just means the rest are hiding." Leo stated about what they were seeing.
More ninjas appeared and began to try to fight them with Casey swinging his bats calling "Goongala!" as he'd knocked a couple of them upside the head.
"Goon ga la?" Donatello questioned raising a non existent eyebrow as he and the others just looked at each other. "Eh."
"Goongala!" The four turtles then called out at once joining in on the action fighting against the ninjas that were trying to attack them.
By the time they'd finished with the ninjas they'd noticed an interesting looking chopper taking away something covered in alge and such and flying off. They'd managed to get to the platform with the cannon on it and damaged the platform with the guys getting away, however they'd left the metal glove and the sword there.
Another flying machine had appeared and launched something at the aircraft as it was trying to escape and the turtles managed to get the machine off before any real damage was done. They'd decided it was best to disappear and had taken the glove and the sword with them alongside Casey also joining them. We then see a man in a purple and green spider cosume with a web cape and catlike ears on their mask appeared to investigate everything.
They'd taken the sword back to Master Splinter showing him it and the glove. "The design is unmistakably Japanese, possibly eleventh century. The metal however is unlike any that I have ever seen, clearly there is more to this sword than meets the eye." He'd stated standing up and putting it onto a display before stating "It's best that it remain out of the wrong hands."
