Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows Season 01 Episode 04
Leonardo had been training on a rooftop when something, or someone, had fired an arrow at him but he'd managed to dodge slicing it in two seeing a note attached to it. Unrolling the note there was something written on it about passing a test and to come meet with them at a specific place in the city and to come alone if they followed the way of Bushido. Considering it Leo had taken a photo of the note sending it to Donatello just in case, and had told them to watch from the shadows, however he did in fact go in alone.
Leo had gone in and spotted the symbol of the ninjas looking surprised as a bunch of ninjas had come out and were ready to fight him thirteen to one. "Oh great, way to walk into a trap Leo." He'd stated to himself.
Meanwhile his brothers were on the roof his brothers were watching what was happening through a skylight with Mikey stating "Thirteen to one, they're gonna need more guys if they wanna take down Leo."
"If he needs us we're here, but let's watch and see what happens." Raph then stated still sitting and watching things unfold.
Leo had fought and easily defeated the ninjas when he'd heard someone clapping and a man walks out stating "Impressive, my agents said you were good but their description doesn't do you justice it would seem. I am Oroku Saki, eight generation master of Ninjitzu and you are?"
"My name is Hamato Leonardo." Leo then answered the man about what his name is which seemed to trigger something in Oroku Saki, but he'd controlled himself.
"I once knew a man by the name of Hamato Yoshi." Oroku Saki then stated to them about having known Yoshi.
"Hamato Yoshi died before my time." Leonardo stated putting his swords away explaining about what happened.
"A shame, he was a honorable warrior. But I didn't call you here to walk down memory lane." Saki then stated to Leo in response.
"Then you sent me the letter?" Leo questioned holding up the paper that had been attached to the arrow shot at him.
"Yes, we have been fighting against one another, when we should be working together instead. My Ninjas have mistaken you as the enemy and for that I do apologize." The man stated in response to him.
"Ya, your ninjas also knocked out the power to the city twice and used a cannon that destroyed the peir, not to mention tried to kill me." Leo answered back with his arms crossed.
"The Cannon was an accident, however we needed people not to see what we were doing or else and even greater foe, one that has been working it's tentacles into every phaset of human civilation for centuries would have seen and tried to stop us." Saki then explained to him. "I merely wish for us to be allies against this evil."
"I'm not so sure about this." He'd answered the man back about the whole thing that he'd been told.
"I understand your hesitation, meditate and meet me back here tomorrow night with your answer. And one more thing." Saki then stated before clapping his hands and someone brought out a sword which he'd lifted up to show them.
"This sword was in my family for over three hundred years. It was crafted by the master Toshie Kurihara, it is said that in the forging"Kurihara folded the metal over seven hundred times to remove any imperfections."" Saki began to state but Leo finished the explination.
"You do know your history, take it as a token of my sinserity." The man then stated to Leo letting him take the blade and leave.
Leo had taken the sword and left with it, going to meet up with his brothers on a rooftop and set the sword down waiting for them to get there. Soon enough the other three had gotten there and Donatello had began checking out the blade that Oroku Saki had given Leonardo just to make sure there wasn't anything off about it.
"So, any tracers or anything on it?" Leonardo questioned Donny who'd inspected it using some special goggles that would show him anything that was out of place about it.
"Nothing, it seems to be an ordianry sword." Donatello answered back about the sword having not seen anything.
"Then let's tell Master Splinter about what just happened." Michaelangelo then suggested to his brothers and they'd all nodded leaving to do just that.
They'd then gone to speak with Splinter who'd taken a look at the sword and sighed stating "I know who these people are, they are the ones responsible for the death of my former master Hamato Yoshi. This is the symbol of the Foot Ninja, and their leader Oroku Saki also known as The Shredder, was the one who struck him down." Splinter explained to his sons. "I did not tell you the identity of the man because I did not want your training to be tainted by the poison of hatred."
We move to later on when Leonardo was ready to give Oroku Saki his answer about whether or not he was going to agree to join them and he'd landed on the rooftop being surrounded by a bunch of the Foot and he'd thrown the sword away with it clanking and landing at the foot of Saki now standing in battle armor. The Shredder then took a deep breath picking up the blade that lay at his feet.
"ATTACK!" He'd yelled out and his ninjas all began to fight against Leo while his brothers and father all appeared ready to join in the battle.
The fighting had been fierce as they'd been trying to handle the onslaught of ninja but some guys in red scarves appeared along with a blond guy with a purple dragon tattoo and they'd began to overwhelm the turtles and Splinter.
"Okay, this is getting intense." Mikey called out while trying to help fend off anyone that got too close to himself and their family.
"Take out the head and the serpent falls right?" Leo called and charged towards the Shredder while everyone else was trying to fend off the army.
Leo had tried to attack the Shredder while tired out from battling their underlings and as a result had been grabbed by the ankle and slammed into the building's roof causing it to crack and start to crumble. The crumbling roof gave the group their chance to escape as Shredder had dropped Leonardo off of the roof sending him crashing down into the alleyway below as his brothers and father jumped down after him finding him laying there limp.
"Nonononono!" Donatello spoke worriedly as he took out a remote control that made the armored car they'd aquired drive itself to them at a fast speed. "Get him inside now!" He'd then called to his brothers and father.
"C'mon Leo you're gonna make it!" Mikey spoke worriedly as he and Raph picked up Leo and got into the back of the car as Splinter climbed in the front alongside Donatello and they'd began to speed off as one of the ninjas with the red scarves had thrown a shuriken at the car causing it to stick into the bumper.
"Where to exactly Master Splinter? The Hospital is out they'd expect us to go there with Leo hurt." Raphael questioned just where they'd be going.
"Take us to Miss O'Neil's place." Splinter answered stating where exactly they'd be going. "Hide the truck in the alleyways so as to not be seen."
"Right, we're heading there now." Donatello answered back as they'd gone straight there so they could get Leo some help.
"I'm calling in Casey, we could use the extra muscle." Raph then stated using his shellphone to contact his crazy friend.
"Hey April, it's Mikey, we need your help with something important. It's Leo he's in pretty bad shape, no we can't go to a hospital thanks you're a lifesaver, literally." Mikey spoke over his own phone talking to April to catch her up on what's happening.
They'd managed to make it to April's place and she'd tried to apply the first aid to Leo who'd started to be able to move again, though very slowly. While they were doing that Shredder's guard in the red scarves appeared and Shredder kicked down the door freaking everyone out as they'd thought that they would have been safe there at least for a few days.
"You've all been a thorn in my side for too long, now it's time to end this once and for all." Shredder stated to them.
Suddenl a motorcycle crashed through the window and Casey Jones had arrived on the scene having been the one driving it. He'd reved up the motor and then drove it skidding into three of the four elites before then reving it up at the fourth. He charged at them and they jumped on top of the front preparing to attack, however Casey hit the breaks and sent them flying into a display case that then crashed down on top of the guy in the red scarf.
Shredder had gotten angry and called out "Obliterate them!" with more ninjas preparing to attack after Casey got off his bike.
"Not much of a party host, oh well guess I'll just use these guys to work on my swing." Casey then stated taking out a golf club and a hokey stick ready to fight.
The Blond man had broken in through the back and saw April trying to help Leo and was preparing to fight with April telling him "You want Leo you gotta go through me."
"That's the idea, maybe losing you will take the fight out of these freaks." He'd stated preparing to attack but a golf club stopped his fist pulling him to the side.
"You're the bastard that killed my old man, and now you're threatening my friends? I've been waiting a long time to kick your ass." Casey spoke pulling Hun towards him by the wrist using his golf club before swinging his hokey stick breaking it across his face knocking them stumbling away from them. "Get Leo somewhere safe, I'll deal with this bozo." He'd then called over to April.
"Right, somewhere safe.." She'd spoken and began to look around in a hurry spotting something that might work and they'd started to hear sirens coming their way. "Guys, this way!" April then called out waving over to them and began trying to pull Leo away.
Splinter helped April get Leo into what looked like a storage room as the others were fighting their way through the guys to get there too. They'd all managed to get inside and slam the door shut wiht Raphael stating "Great, small dark and no way out. Perfect for making our last stand."
"It's a walk in cooler, this shop used to be a grocery store at one time. But there's something special the previous owner showed me when I was little." April stated moving some stuff around revealing a rope in the wall. "Raph pull this thing slow but hard."
Raphael began to do as she said and they'd discovered a hidden side room with stairs leading down. "Stairs?" He'd questioned confused.
"If we take it we can get to safety." She'd then explained taking a battery powered lantern from a box and turning it on so they could all see and began to lead the way with Raph and Casey carrying Leonardo slowly.
Just as they'd reached the bottom they'd heard a loud explosion with the whole place shaking and some dust crumbled down from above them. "Shredder must have set off a bomb to cover their tracks because the Plumbers showed up." Donatello suggested to them.
"No going back that way now, I got a place we can lay low for awhile but first we gotta get out of here." Casey explained stating he knew where they could go to recover.
