Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows Season 01 Episode 05
After Leo had been badly injured while fighting the Shredder and their goons Leo had been badly hurt and the others tried to get him to safety only to be tracked down by Shredder and his goons again. They'd managed to use an underground escape to get out of there and Casey suggested a place that they could be safe at.
We see them pulling up to a house that was old and hadn't been taken care of properly though not completely falling apart yet. "Alright I know this place needs a bit of fixing up, hadn't got much use since my Grandma passed away but it's sturdy and she's got one of those old fashoined fireplaces." Casey explained to them as they helped Leo get inside.
"So long as it's a sturdy roof over our heads, and we can keep safe and warm that's all that matters." Leonardo stated as Donatello and Michaelangelo helped him to get inside.
"Hey Raph, help me gather some of this old wood and we can kickstart the fireplace." Casey stated to the turtle in red gear gesturing to a pile of old wood.
"Sure thing." Raph spoke helping him go and gather some wood as April was trying to figure out how it worked managing to undo a hatch in the top as a bunch of dust and soot fell out making them cough as they brought the wood in.
"Let me handle that alright, my gramps taught me how this thing worked when I was growing up." Casey spoke to April putting the wood into the fireplace along with some old ignition fluid and used a match to cause the wood to start to burn. "There, that's better."
"Once we've healed up I'll need to forge new swords, I lost mine when I went over." Leonardo stated to the group about what they plan to do.
"Yes, but first we shall rest and recover. We'll prepare ourselves for what's to come next and defeat the Shredder and his minions." Splinter stated to them with the turtles bowing to their master.
"Yes, Sensei." The four of them all spoke at once as the fire was already starting to warm them all up from the cold of outside.
Once the place had warmed up the group had called it a night since it was late, or uh, i guess early given it was 2 am when they arrived. Casey prepped the fireplace to have enough wood burning to last until the morning and they'd gone off to bed to rest. We then jump to sometime the next day as Casey had been doing something outside and come over to the front door opening it with April getting mad, however he'd knocked the mud and snow off his shoes before taking them off and walked inside so at to not track anything in.
"You take your shoes off before coming inside?" April then questioned while holding up a mop that she'd been using.
"My Grandma used to kick my but for tracking in snow and mud growing up, I'm not about to let you do the same." He'd then answered back about why he took his shoes off. "So where's the others?"
"Leo's off in the barn trying to get that old forge going to make him some new blades, and Mikey's playing in the snow while keeping an eye on him just in case." Donatello answered back about where they were.
"Ya, guess I'll go see if Leo needs any help then." Raph spoke dropping down some more wood next to the fireplace.
We then cut to Leo and Raph starting to work on a makeshift forge from the barn and they were working with the fire and some metal trying to make some new swords together and Leo's bandages were starting to come off. Turns out that whatever caused them to Mutate also helped them to heal a lot faster than the average person. By the time they were done they were able to rest for awhile longer just to be on the safe side.
"Alright, I know it's short notice but I think we should return to New York tomorrow and finish with the Shredder once and for all." Leo suggested to the others.
"I gotta agree, it's been nice spending time at my grandma's old place but we got places to be and skulls to crack." Casey agreed with him.
The others all had agreed with Leonardo as well and the next day they'd returned to New York and gone underground to return to their Lair where they'd began going over their stuff making sure there wasn't any Foot Ninjas looking for them, and they'd seemed to be in the clear on that one with Donatello starting to see what he could dig up on everything.
"I found info on Oroku Saki and his business, but I'm not sure if I can tap into the buisness' systems since it was designed by Stockman." Donatello stated to his family and friends about getting in.
"Too bad you don't know anyone that used to work with Stockman." April then stated cheekily and Donatello caught on moving out of the way with April then sitting down and cracking her knuckles getting to work.
"Remember my sons, the battle you face today will possibly be the most difficult you've ever faced in your lives." Splinter stated to his sons as they were getting in some practice. "You must go in fully prepared."
"I'm prepared alright, to kick their butts and raise a little shell of my own." Raphael answered back while continuing to practice.
"I think Master Splinter means something else." Leonardo stated to his brother in response to what he'd just said.
"I believe the time has come to return Shredder's sword to it's former owner." Master Splinter then stated gesturing over to the strange blade.
"Now you're talking." Raphael stated picking up the metal glove and then tried to grab the sword but it had blasted him backwards making him smack into the couch and bounce off onto the floor. "Ow."
"Forget something?" Leonardo questioned walking over behind the couch as Raphael had looked up at him.
"Here, maybe you should carry the sword instead." Raph suggested holding up the metal glove to let Leo carry it.
"Guys, April did it, we're in!" Donatello called out to the others as they began to check out the schematics of the building.
"I can handle the systems on this end while you guys handle Shredder's crew." April then told the turtles.
"Right, Casey you stay here and protect April. The rest of us will handle Shredder." Leo then stated to them and the turtles along with their father prepared to head out.
They'd managed to get inside and take out the controls at the bottom along with handling the automated defenses as Hun had gone to find out what was happening. He was blasted at by the Battle Shell and barely managed to dodge before throwing an explosive under the vehicle and detonating it, sending the armored car flipping over onto it's side. Going over to check what was what was in the back he'd actually been surprised to find that it was empty inside.
The turtles had actually gone in through a large pipe with Donatello speaking into a headset stating "April, phase one complete."
"Right I'm uploading the worm program now." April then stated as she began to upload something onto the Foot's systems.
"Uh what are you doing exactly?" Casey questioned as he was stretching a little bored since there wasn't much for him to do.
"Whipping up a virus to clog their internal communications network." April answered back but Casey had seemed confused. "I'm breaking all their phones so the bad guys can't talk to each other." She'd then simplified.
Once that was done Raphael had kicked down a door and they'd began to fight with the Foot Ninjas that were inside the room they were going in to take down. "Now that's a lot of ninjas." Mikey stated about all the foot that were about to attack them. "So we doing this with or without banter?" he'd then questioned but didn't get an answer and so responds to his own question stating "Definately without."
They managed to take down the guys inside with Raphael stating "That was refreshing." while stretching.
"April we need a new way out." Donatello spoke over his com asking April if she knew of a way they could leave the room.
"There's a ventalation shaft, the duct is located in the northwest corner." She'd responded to them over the headset.
They'd found their way to a hanger filled with different tech and whatnot with Mikey messing with a device making it spew smoke and causing him to cough. They'd been attacked by something invisible and they'd had a hard time managing it but Raph jumped onto one of the vehicles and began messing with the controls causing it to unleash a laser that he'd been firing off around wildly since he didn't know how to control the vehicle properly.
The Laser had damaged the cloaking tech making the ninjas turn visible with them now able to fight them with Michaelangelo calling out "Way to go Raph!"
Since he couldn't drive it properly or shut off the laser Raphael then stabbed the controls forcing it to shut down and jumped down to his brothers stating "I think I'd rather stick with a good old Shell Cycle."
"So which way now?" Donatello then questioned after they'd taken out the guys that had attacked them in the room.
"Up." Leonardo answered gesturing to where Raphael had blasted a hole in the ceiling and they'd gone through finding a strange room with strange things in tubes.
"April, check the Schematics and see if you can tell us where we are." Donny spoke asking their friend to help them figure out just where they've arrived at now.
"All I can tell you is that you're on the thirty third floor. It won't display any other information but that." April then answered back about where they were.
Alarms began going off and the tubes opened up awakening the creatures inside that looked to be mutated creatures wearing armor similar to that of The Shredder, however they didn't appear capable of speech instead only letting out strange growling sounds as they began to move in closer towards the Hamato Clan.
