Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows Season 01 Episode 07
We see that the Turtles were sitting on a couch in their lair alongside April who was in a chair as she'd drawn on a map with a marker stating "Okay, we've checked The Shredder's Building, and every other place The Foot have been encountered. We've also checked every sewer tunnel, backstreet, and dark alley in the city."
"Ya, and I just got done checking all the different hospitals and medical facilities around, nothing there either." Casey spoke coming in to join in the conversation.
"There's only area left that we haven't checked out at all." Donatello spoke stating that there was still an area of the city they needed to check out.
"Well I asked a pal of mine to help out, with the search since they can get into places we can't." Casey stated to them saying that he'd asked a friend for a favor. "Don't worry, guy knows how to keep a secret."
Casey's phone had started to go off and he'd answered it with a guy in a purple and green mask with cat ears on it appearing on screen from the other end. "Whoa, you know Spider-Man?" Mikey then questioned surprised.
"Ya, we went to the Plumber's Academy together." Casey explained to his friends about how he'd known them exactly.
"Long story, but I'm not calling for plesantries." Spider-Man stated to them in response. "I've done some digging and talked to some business associates. I'm not quite sure if they have or not, but a good starting place is here." He'd stated through the communications device and showing a map of the city with a dot marking where to go.
"Thank you for your help in finding our father." Leonardo spoke thanking him for the help that they were offering.
"No prob, but for future reference you guys can just file a missing person's report y'know." Spider-Man stated to them in response "Gotta go, Front Lines business and all." He'd then hung up the call.
"Donny, did you get any information on the building?" Leo questioned his brother asking about the location.
"I'm on it." Donny then stated checking out the information through a digital map of the city over the net. "Oh boy, guys, this just got a lot more complicated."
"Whats the problem?" Mikey questioned what exactly had him worried all of a sudden after getting the info.
"Techno - Cosmic Research Institue." Donatello stated to them though they just looked confused. "Say the first letter of word."
"T.C.R.I. So what's the big deal exactly?" Casey questioned why exactly it was so important for those letters.
"T.C.R.I. are the letters on the canister that mutated us in the first place." Leo then explained about why it's so important. "We may find both Splinter and the story of what happened to make us the way we are."
We then cut to later with the Turtles sneaking into the building through the roof, only to discover that the vent at the top was actually fake confusing them. They also couldn't cut through any windows either. They discovered an Exhaust cover and had gone inside, however they'd discovered that all the rooms looked identical to one another.
"It's like this whole place was designed to keep people going in circles." Donatello stated looking around confused as they'd heard something and Leo ran into a room gesturing for them to follow, which his brothers did.
They'd seen some guys going past with large canisters and once they were a safe distance the turtles had left the room with Leo stating "Don, you and Mikey check the elevator, see where it leads. Raph and I will ghost those two that just passed."
They'd nodded and split up to cover more ground and Donatello and Mikey checked the elevator. "Ten floors, but fifty buttons. Let's see where you take us." Mikey spoke pushing a button only to come across a hallway that looked like the one they just came from.
"Try another floor." Donny told him and so Mikey had pressed a different button coming across another hallway that was identical too. "They're all identical, just like the rooms. Let's keep trying." He'd then stated as Mikey nodded pressing another button.
Meanwhile Raph and Leo had followed the two down a dead end looking around confused they'd headed over there and Leo stabbed the wall with his sword. "It's another hologram like the exhaust."
"Then let's do it." Raphael responded ready to get in and find out just what was going on with this weird place and they went through.
Back with Don and Mkey they'd had to hide at the top of the elevator when someone went to get on pressing three keys instead of just one and the number display instead showed some strange creature. When the elevator stopped they'd discovered that they were in a chamber that was far more alien than usual, even considering what was outside the building.
"This place looks like some sort of Techno-organic fusuion. We're going down there." Donny stated readying a graple.
"Looks like a giant Stomach to me." Mikey stated looking down over the edge at all the weird stuff that was around them. "I don't even wanna think about what's down there personally."
The two had then grappled down to see what was going on as the people at the bottom began to tear off their skin revealing a mechanical body covered in some stringy goo that probably held it together. "Oh that is so gross." Donny stated in a whisper as they were watching what was happening.
"Can this day get any weirder?" Mikey then questioned as they'd seen the mechanical body actualy had a swierd tiny squidlike alien inside of it making him add "Okay, eww." to that question.
They'd then seen them fly off on disks and land onto some what looked like upsidedown mushrooms as claws grabbed the metal bodies and dropped them into some sort of blue liquid that made a searing sound as they were dropped in. The claws also dropped the skin and clothes into a capusle as hoses appeared and began to blast the creatures as they were letting out strange screams.
A robotic voice had then began calling that there was a breach with Donny stating "Guess we've been found out." as they'd been spotted and the weird squids began to blast at them.
"What do we do now?" Mikey questioned ready to fight if they had to as the squid creatures were closing in on them.
"Follow me." Donatello answered back jumping into a tube with Mikey then following him as they were spat out covered in some nasty orange slime of some sort.
"Okay I am officially Grossed out." Mikey spoke as more squids in robots appeared wielding electric batons ready to fight.
Meanwhile Leonardo and Raphael had also been spotted and began trying to get away form them coming across two doors with Leo grabbing Raph calling "This way!" as they ran into one of the rooms.
When the things entered the room they didn't see anyone, that was however, until Leo dropped down and tackled three of them with Raphael dropping and kicking one of them in a saucer. Another in a robot began to attack but Raph kicked them away too and taken their baton, using it to fend off another one that was in the robot suit as they tried to attack him.
Leo had jumped onto a wall before kicking himself off of it and landed behind two more guys kicking them away and taking their baton throwing it into the leg of the one attacking Raph. This caused their suit to short out but they'd actually managed to get back up as Leonardo had jumped over to stand beside his brother.
"We take these guys out, but they just keep coming." Raph stated as they'd backed up against a wall.
The wall then opened up with Donatello and Michaelangelo appearing from the other side with Mikey stating "Hey, fancy meeting you here."
"This way." Donatello called gesturing for them to follow and the four of them had started to run off to get away while being chased.
Donny and Mikey had led them to an opening and then the two began forcing over a large thing that exploded when it impacted the floor leaving rubble in the way of these squid guys and giving them a second to breathe. It was then that they'd noticed the place around them and were surprised to see the strange tech all around them with some of those squids in containers.
"What is the place, the morgue?" Raphael questioned while looking around wanting to know what was going on.
"I sure hope not, look." Leonardo then stated gesturing over towards one of the containers and they'd all looked as he'd stated "Master Splinter." with them going over to the container with their Father inside of it.
"This looks like some sort of Bio-suspension unit." Donatello stated checking out the controls that were showing readings on Splinter's condition. "It appear he's in some sort of stasis."
"Well then let's cut him out shall we?" Raphael suggested as he'd pulled out his Sai ready to free him from the container.
"Wait." Leo spoke putting his hand up to block Raphael from doing that. "We might actually do more harm than good."
"Leo's right, we don't fully understand this technology. Even from what I've seen over the Extranet, I've yet to come across anything like this." Donny stated to them before adding "Give me a minute to study this and I might be able to get him out."
Before they could do anything the squid guys had broken through and the group began to fight again with one of the squids going out of control after Mikey kicked them through the air. They'd almost blasted Splinter had Donny not gotten in the way taking the hit instead, and, after being struck, he'd slid all the way to some sort of strang pad with a small staircase leading up to it.
The other Turtles had managed to get to Donny and pulled him up to the platform with someone appearing in a suit stating "Stop, you must get off of there immediately!"
