Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Away Shadows 01 Episode 08
A stray blast was about to hit Splinter when Donny had jumped in the way taking the hit and sliding into another room. The other Turtles had managed to get to Donny and pulled him up onto a platform with someone appearing in a suit stating "Stop, you must get off of there immediately!"
"Wait, who are you?" Leo questioned them confused "And what's so special about this platform?"
"Everyone stand down, these are the turtle allies against Shredder." The man called out into a com system making the alien squid creatures stop attacking and then go back to their business. "I apologize for what happened. My name is Mortu, but I must insist that you step off of the transmat platform. Any enemy of the Shredder is a friend of ours."
"Friend, right, is that what you call kidnapping someone and locking them in a tube?" Raphael questioned angrily ready to keep fighting.
"The tube is a healing tank. The injuries sustained by the one you call Splinter were more than anticipated, otherwise we would already have the Guardians return him to you." He explained to them "Not passing along this information was an oversite we will not make again."
"If this is true then bring us a medical kit for our brother." Leonardo then stated to Mortu who'd walked over to a wall taking a kit out of a containment box and handing it over.
"The gell inside will help him heal." Mortu stated to them as Leonardo took the box and began to cover Donatello's wound which began to smoke and sizzle slightly before closing up completely.
"The pain is gone." Donatello stated to his brothers standing up. "I feel good as new." He'd stated and walked off of the platform. "Thank you, now about our father."
"Right. The pod will auto open when he's fully healed." Mortu then explained leading them back out to Splinter with all four turtles following him. "According to the console it will be in only a few moments. Once it's open, please I would like for you all to hear our story."
Leonardo nodded in response and they waited as some of the alien squids on platforms brought in Splinter's cane and robe, along with some drying tools to help remove any leftover healing juices from the tank. Once Splinter was completely dry and dressed they'd been taken to three individuals who all had the same color of ice blue eyes.
"We are" "The Council" "of Three." They spoke one after the other as if they were supposed to be a sort of hive mind. "The one you call" "the Shredder is actually" "An Utrom criminal named Ch'rell."
"Wait, then why are you guys here on Earth exactly, and why didn't you guys contact the plumbers for help?" Leo questioned why they were being secretive.
"Their technology" "is lacking for" "our needs." The three spoke again explaining why they didn't try to talk to the plumbers. "We were transporting" "Ch'rell to face their" "sentencing for their crimes when we crashed."
"Sorry, but can someone who doesn't stop mid sentence please explain what's going on? My brain hurts." Mikey stated asking if someone else could explain.
"Mortu" "explain it" "to them." The three spoke looking down to where the one called Mortu was standing in the room.
"Yes, The Shredder is an Utrom named Ch'rell. He was supposed to be sentenced after we captured him but something went wrong with our ship and he escaped after the crash. He's been building an army to defeat us since that day while we've been trying to capture him and built a transmat so that we can finally go home." Mortu explained to them all giving them the short answer. "Our planet lies beyond a dimensional wall and we only recently were able to complete the transport for us to go home. That's why I was so worried about the platform you were on."
"Oh. Well that makes a lot more sense now thanks." Michaelangelo spoke thanking them for clearing everything up now.
Suddenly they'd heard a loud explosion and someone came in reporting a breach with Mortu racing off with the turtles and Splinter chasing after him to go and help as well. They'd gone straight to a different chamber by elevator and ran into the room that had been blown discovering the shredder there alongside Hun and those guys in scarves that liked to jump around using puffs of smoke and some other foot soldiers.
"Shredder. I'm not making the same mistake as last time." Leonardo called out pointing his sword at the man in front of him.
"Attack!" Shredder then called out as they all began to fight. Some guys with medalions appeared to fight off the guys attacking Mortu leaving Shredder there to fight him. "Mortu, It's been far too long. I've anticipated this moment for nearly ten centuries."
"I'm surprised with your genius it took you a thousand years to find us!" Mortu responds and the two start to fight against one another.
Hun had grabbed Mortu from behind while Shredder was about to attack, but the two were then shot at by the other Utrom on the flying disks making them let go of him and giving them a chance to put some distance between the three of them.
They continued fighting off the enemy trying to stop the Shredder from doing whatever he was attempting and Leonardo kicked Shredder into some strange goo making him stick inside of it and began to struggle trying to break free.
"Not this time Shredder!" Leonardo called taking one of his Katana and throwing it through the air while he was stuck and impaling the shredder in their mid section down towards the stomach as they cried out in pain.
The Shredder then began to scream in a language that only the Utrom seemed to understand as they'd gone wide eyed with some of them moving one of their tentacles upwards towards their mouthes as if hearing it was somehow vulgar in nature. He'd continued to struggle while screaming out these vulgarities trying to break free with Hun trying to help but getting kicked in the head by Raphael.
The other Ninja tried to help the Shredder as he continued to struggle screaming out this alien vulgarities but the others had continued to fight against them as well trying to keep them from reaching him. Leonardo had managed to get over towards the Shredder as they were beginning to calm and pulled his sword from their body making Shredder then start struggling and screaming again.
"Oh would you just shUT UP!" Leonardo then demanded as he'd stabbed both of his blades into the Shredder's stomach area of their body surprising everyone as Shredder's body then had gone limp.
When he went limp everyone stopped fighting wondering if he was really dead or not. Mortu went over to the Shredder and ripped the armor plating off of the front of the torso as an Utrom dropped down limp out of it and began to bleed out onto the floor.
"Um.. Ew." Was all that Michaelangelo, or really any of them, could even say knowing that Oroku Saki, The Shredder, was now laying limp on the floor bleeding to death. That was if he wasn't dead already.
Hun and the other Ninja soon began to grow angry and started fighting again, however they were a lot more eratic about the situation, attacking wildly instead of being precise in their fighting. This made it easier for them to be kicked again and defeated as one of the guardians picked up the bleeding out Ch'rell and throwing them into one of the tanks in the room that Splinter had been healing in.
"So, what now?" Raphael questioned just what they were supposed to do since the Shredder was gone now.
"There's still Stockman, and once Ch'rell is heald, IF he's healed. We can help them make Shredder face his sentencing once and for all." Leonardo answered back about just what they should do now.
"Yes, and dont forget gathering the remainder of Shredder's empire. The Guardians will help you find them all and turn them over to the proper authorities." Mortu answered back as one of the Guardians nodded in response to the order to help.
Well time passed and eventually Ch'rell had healed enough to not be a limp mess on the floor, but the Utrom were a lot more cautious and refused to fully heal him placing him in a containment orb, or as Mikey had called it, Shredder in a Hampester Ball, and taken him to be tried for all of his crimes.
The Utrom council had sentenced him to eternal exile on the Ice Prison Mor Gal Tal, and he'd been forcibly teleported to the frozen rock with no way off of it, no planets to conquer nearby it was just him, that ice rock, and the emptyness of space.
"Is it really over?" Leonardo questioned not being able to believe that it really was finally over now.
"Yes my sons. It's finally over, my master Yoshi's spirit can finally rest in peace." Splinter spoke glad that it was all finally over once and for all now. "The Shredder is finished. Let us go home, we no longer must hide ourselves away. This is truly a new dawn for us all."
