"Where am I... am I on a boat!?"

Naruto was SO confused when he opened his eyes and shot into a standing position. The last thing he remembered was he was taking his college exams, and then there was a bright light that covered the sky completely. Now, he was on a boat, and staring out at an ocean that wasn't all familiar to him.

The boat was large enough for a small crew to operate, but not so huge that it needed a huge crew to casually operate. It was wooden with no modern day equipment on it to be seen, if anything it looked like the ship belonged to a pirate crew from books.

"... Why am I on a pirate boat?" Naruto asked himself as he started to walk around. Naruto passed by 8 magical looking circles as he entered the Captains Quarters of the ship, and resting in the middle of those 8 circles was a golden cup that radiated a pure light to it. Naruto left the room and started to walk around the ship some more.

Nobody was on the Main Deck.

Nobody was in the Crew Deck, but there was plenty of barrels of fruit, dried meat, and seasonings stored on the Crew Deck, and a fully stocked kitchen area to add to that in the back of that area. The entire kitchen area was covered in stones to make it harder to set on fire, with stone stoves and ovens.

Nobody was in the Storage Area underneath the Crew Deck either.

Barrels of Fresh Water, Rum, Wine, Lantern oil, and Animal Fat were stored in the storage area below the crew area. It looked like foods were stored away from the liquids, and there weren't any boat pests like rats and roaches to be found. Naruto investigated that as he looked around, and he started to walk by up the stairs to the main deck.

He was all alone on the boat.

Naruto investigated the Main Deck more as he arrived back on it, and he saw there were 5 cannons on each side of the boat, and a barrel of cannonballs next to each cannon, both the cannons and the barrels were strapped down, and there were barrels of gunpowder located nearby the entrance to the Captain's Quarters.

Naruto saw the ladder to the Crow's Next and climbed it.

When he reached the top, he looked out as far as his eyes could see, and saw that there were islands to the North, North East, West, South, and North West that were visible to him.

He was somewhere in an Archipelago, a collection of islands that weren't simply in a line.

Naruto went into the Captain's Quarters and walked over to the map located on a fixed table, and on top of that map was a letter.

Dear Captain Naruto,
Welcome to the Super Great Holy Grail War.

This world can be remade into anything you desire, so long as you can collect all 7 Holy Grails and take them to a Shrine located on a specific island. You already have 1 Holy Grail, and you must take the remaining 6 Holy Grails from your rivals in this war.

You will each be given 8 Servants, a Boat, and enough food and water to last long enough to be able to collect these resources for yourself. To summon your Servants who will serve as your crew, just walk over to the magical summoning circles and stand in the middle of them. Your servants will be summoned when you call out their names.

There is a villain group known as Chaldea who will interfere with this war, you may ignore them, or you may destroy them.

"Captain Naruto... I like it... so... I've been brought here to remake this world, and I have 6 other rivals. Nice... this is nice... I've never been the captain of a pirate ship before... this is cool." Naruto had to admit that he was extremely excited for what was happening. Naruto walked over to the summon circles and he placed his hands on them.

He grabbed the side of his head.

It was a whisper at the back of his mind, telling me what names to call out. The names and classes of his Servant Crew were downloaded into his head. Naruto stood up straight and walked between the 8 circles on the ground.

3 spirals appeared on his hand in a triangle.

"Servant Summon! Saber, Beni-Enma!"

The Circle Behind him lit up and glowed, before 3 rainbow rings of light energy started to gather together. They glowed brightly, before there was a flash and there was a small girl standing where the circles had been. She was petite, red haired, and carried a long sword at her side. She was dressed not like a warrior, but with a featured apron on her kimono.

"Welcome to the Enma-tei. Please, make yourself at home, my esteemed guests... oh... my apologizes. I just said that out of of habit." Beni opened her mouth, before she realized where she was and looked around. She stood up properly and bowed. "Servant, Saber. The Tongue-Cut Sparrow, Beni-Enma. I am at your service. I'm looking forward to working with you." Beni completed her proper introduction after being summoned.

Naruto smiled at her.

"That's a spoon at your side... can I trust you to be the cook for this ship, and feed my crew well?" Naruto asked Beni with a grin.

Beni nodded.

"Your crew will be well fed."

"Perfect. Servant Summon! Archer, Ishtar!" Naruto raised his arm up towards the sky, and 3 more spirals appeared on his wrist, just below the 3 that appeared on the top of his hand. Those same rainbow rings of light appeared again, before there was a flash of light again.

A grown woman appeared this time.

She was still on the more skinny side, but it was clear she was more adult. She didn't wear much though, wearing what amounted to a bikini at most, though it was golden laced. Black hair and red eyes... also floating above the ground. She was exceedingly beautiful, to a stunning agree.

"The Goddess Ishtar has come in response to your summons. As the Goddess of Beauty, I ruler over Venus, but also govern fertility, war, and destruction, so you had best respect me deeply..." Ishtar introduced herself as she crossed her arms and continued to float.

Naruto hummed in thought.

"... You can float... fertility, war, and destruction... want to man the crow's nest?" Naruto asked her as he rubbed his chin. If she could float, then she could just do her job from anywhere, but he somehow just got the impression that leaving her with no real task would be a bad idea.

Ishtar nodded her head.

"Very well, though I would do better serving as a beacon of beauty for others to worship."

"I bet you would, but we don't need that right now." Naruto deadpanned in a friendly way, before he looked at the next summon circle, right next to Ishtar. Naruto raised his hand up.

"Servant Summon! Lancer, Melusine!" Naruto gained another 3 spirals right below the 3 he just got, at the end of his forearm. The red spirals travelled further up his arm with each summon, and if he summoned 5 more times, then he would have enough to cover his entire forearm at this rate.

The same rainbow circles.

Flash.

"Servant, Lancer. Tam Lin Lancelot heeds your summons... wait... did you summon me with my actual name?" Melusine was a beautiful woman. She was short and petite, but she had the air of a beauty that was unmatched by others. She had the air of a truly mature adult, somebody you could rely on in any situation. Beautiful white hair and golden eyes, and wearing a white and blue dress, short enough to be called a skir, which showed off her breasts.

She had a flawless beauty.

"I mean... Yeah, I summoned you as Melusine, right?" Naruto asked her, since she introduced herself by a different name.

Melusine had sparkles in her eyes, and she walked right up to Naruto and stood right next to him. While Beni and Ishatr were satisfied standing on their own summon circles, Melusine instantly walked right off of it and stood by his side.

"Allow me to introduce myself again. I am Melusine. This individual used to go by a different name, but that is what I want you to call me now. I've never been very good at being around people, I'm a clumsy talker, and I might be insensitive, but... I'm going to try my best from now on. I hope you've overlook my mistakes."

"I'm happy to have you." Naruto stated with a grin and a thumbs up.

Melusine was glued to his side, standing at his left side with her cheek pressed against him.

Naruto raised his hand up.

3 more spirals appeared, but this time the circles were golden instead of rainbow.

"Servant Summon, Rider Anne Bonny and Mary Read... Two?" Naruto was confused when the lights flashed, and he was greeted by 2 servants instead of one. A short girl who dressed in a black cloak to hide all of her features, and a woman almost only a few inches shorter than he was with golden blond hair. A white haired short girl and a blond haired tall girl, with blue and red eyes respectively. The two were already dressed like pirates, with their weapons being a pirate's sword and a musket, in that order.

"Were you surprised? The two of us are one servant." Mary spoke, the shorter one of the two.

"She is Mary Read. I'm Anne Bonny. Pleased to meet you." Anne introduced them properly though with a wide smile when she looked around and saw that she had been summoned on a boat. The two of them were side by side with each other.

Naruto clapped his hands.

"Yeah... pleased to meet both of you. I guess you two are experienced at this, so I'm going to leave general ship stuff to you." Naruto's response was a thumbs up from the girls in question. Since they had sea experience, there was no reason to not let them handle the boat itself. Naruto raised his hand up. "Servant Summon, Caster Tamamo no Mae... eh?" Naruto stopped when he realized what he just did.

Rainbow circles and a flash.

A beautiful woman appeared in a blue and black kimono and a fox tail, with pink hair.

"I will always be there for you! Your reliable Shine Maiden Fox, Caster, has now arrived!" Tamamo introduced herself.

Naruto crouched down and covered his face with his hands.

"... Hi... Hello... Great... Great... Great... Great... Great... Great, Great, Great... Grandma." Naruto raised a hand up.

He summoned his own ancestor, and she was asking like an innocent shrine maiden. Naruto had never felt a worse sense of shame down to his very core. Tamamo looked confused for a moment, before Naruto stood up. Tamamo looked at his whisker marks, and his general face.

"... Well... after THAT much time has passed, we might as well not be that related, so don't worry about it. So, dear summoner... for what role do... you..." Tamamo started to look towards Beni-Enma, and her eyes went wide for a moment. She instantly hid herself behind Anne so that Beni wasn't staring at her directly.

Naruto didn't know what they was about.

"How about serve as a healer for everyone, and a support roll... this... this might be the most awkward summon yet. Okay, servant summon... Assassin... Shuten-Douji." Naruto raised his hand up and summoned the next servant.

More rainbow, and a flash.

'... Why was Anne and Mary the only gold so far?' Naruto wondered why their summoning was different than the rest.

Shuten... was unearthly pretty, she actually had the same height and general figure as the great voice actress Aoi Yuki. A legendary voice actress, and Shuten even had the same hairstyle as the woman... but her skin was a moon pale, her hair a dark purple, and she had horns and fangs. When she spoke, Naruto blinked when even her voice sounded like the smooth silk that was Aoi Yuki.

"Assassin, Shuten-Douji. Fufu. Please accept my gratitude for summoning me. I will do as I please but... you don't mind, do you?" Shuten asked as she leaned towards Naruto.

Naruto crossed his arms.

"Uh... yeah... I do mind, you need to at least pull your own weight." Naruto closed his eyes, and when he opened them his eyes were red with slitted pupils. Shuten raised an eyebrow at the very tame transformation. "... you get this, right?" Naruto turned his eyes blue and normal again.

Shuten nodded her head slowly, not smiling, before she smiled again.

"You can trust that I will do my fair share... be it battle, or entertainment... I will hold my own." Shuten spoke like silk once more.

"Okay then. Now we are onto Berserker... Servant Summon, Berserker Atalanta." Naruto had 3 more spirals on his arm.

Golden circles again, like with Anne and Mary, but this time for a Berserker.

A silver haired cat girl appeared with lavender tips to her hair and bangs. Wearing a black and white dress with light blue markings, and a thick black collar around her neck. She was much more wild looking than the others.

"I'll burn and consume everything."

Naruto did not like that.

"How about burn and consume everything I tell you to instead... you know, because I summoned you. Also, this is a boat... don't burn the boat." Naruto deadpanned, since he was not a fan of the way she introduced herself at all. Naruto sighed, before he smiled at her all the same. "Welcome to the crew, lets make this world more awesome together." Naruto extended a hand to her.

She nodded and stepped back slightly instead.

"Very well."

"Okay then, no handshake... Servant Summon, Foreigner... Van Gogh... oh, a dude." Naruto had seen portraits of Van Gogh before, so he knew what he was suppose to look like. Naruto saw the rainbow sparks once more.

Flash.

Not a dude.

Short and skinny, even shorter than Melusine, but taller than Beni. Red hair and blue eyes with hair covering her left ear, which she might or might not have, and a sunflower crown on the back of her head. She was holding a GIANT metal sunflower that the bottom of which was a paintbrush... and she was wearing strange shoes that added to her height a little, just enough to make her look taller than Melusine.

"Servant, Foreigner. As you can see, I'm Van Gogh. Let's repaint this world together... J-just kidding! Hehehe... ehehehe!" Gogh ended it with an awkward laugh at her own joke. Naruto was just left scratching his head. He was pretty sure he had seen a self-portrait of this person before, and Van Gogh was suppose to be a dude.

Oh well.

Maybe something went wrong with the summoning.

"Glad to have you on the ship. I don't really know what to have you do, so maybe we can work that out later... or you can just help anyone who looks like they could use the help." Naruto didn't know this person's job just from looking at them.

Melusine pushed herself closer to him.

"I am the bodyguard."

"Ehehehe... you can do that then... I'm not good for much."

8 Servants Summoned.

Naruto's Crew had been summoned to his ship.

1 Master.
1 Holy Grail.
8 Servants.
24 Command Spells.
All of this on 1 Boat, that would sail the ocean and fight against 6 other Masters who had crews containing the same contents.

The Super Great Holy Grail War has begun.

For those questioning why there were so many servants were summoned.
This is the reason.
This Holy Grail war will happen across a set of islands, so there will be extended amounts of time with no battles.
This isn't a battle in a contained city... this is a large scale battle, on ships and islands where battles are broken up into multiple phases.

It won't JUST be fights either.
It will be Resource Management, it will be Adventure as well, and it will have a Mystery element.
