Authors Note: The chapters ahead will be either random chronological scenes between Moxxie childhood, and the actual present. Don't mind thinking about the order of the things, because this is more a fanfic of doodles for scenes of Charlie raising Moxxie, and his childhood, so please don't try to think about an order. Just enjoy each chapter ahead.

So you don't need to worry about the chronological things, just enjoy the cuteness and lovely drama that happens around them.

Pride Ring, in the midst of normal midnight, would typically be a place many demons would not want to be around. Although bars, parties, and adventures through the moonlit night of their scarlet desires would pose a difficult challenge for those who had to work the next day. However, none of that mattered because on that important date, starting at midnight, the birthday party of the Pride Princess, Charlotte Morningstar, had already begun. And she received a great surprise.

"How many layers do you want for your cake, Mom?" Moxxie asked as he prepared the batter with a wooden spoon. Without his suit, he wore just a dress shirt. He prepared the ingredients and the batter without making a mess.

"Well, let's make a two-layer cake. Since we know it will be just a party among us," Charlie replied as she greased the pans with butter and prepared the frosting and filling. "You know, Moxxie, we've always had cooks to prepare our meals. But I confess, I love spending my time cooking with you."

Moxxie smiled joyfully, unable to help but look sweetly at his mother.

"Well, I must admit that cooking has been a great hobby we've had together, and it made me very happy. Although our first attempts were just a big disaster," Moxxie shuddered as Charlie reminded him of their early cooking mishaps.

"Don't remind me, dear. I still can't figure out how we managed to set ice cream on fire." Charlie often tried to find a reason for such an impossible event to have occurred in their early attempts, but after a while, she gave up, and somehow it helped her keep her sanity.

"Well, let's not dwell on unnecessary things... but speaking of remembering," Moxxie, who had already poured the cake mixture into the pan and preheated the oven, walked over to where his little suit was. From inside the jacket, he took out a gift wrapped with three pentagrams. "Here's your present. I took months to find a way to make it perfect."

Moxxie delicately handed it to Charlie. The princess of hell became excited knowing that her first gift came from her beloved son, and she immediately opened the present, carefully unwrapping the gift wrap. To her surprise, it was a scarlet book with silver edges and even ivory ornamentation. She was quite curious, and as she looked at the title, she couldn't help but be moved.

"Album of Morningstar Family Photos." It was embossed in a vivid red and pink gradient, and the princess couldn't resist opening it without a second thought. Inside the album were various photos taken throughout the years when Charlie had spent her vacations with family—her most precious photos, but also the photos she had taken with her son Moxxie since the day they first met.

"Oh, I can't believe it. There are so many more photos than I could have imagined. Where did you get these photos?" Charlie could clearly see that some of these photos hadn't been posed, but rather taken naturally.

"Oh, well... I asked Grandpa and the whole family for help. I don't know how they managed to get the photos, but they said it took a long time to put it together," Moxxie shrugged as he finally placed the three cake pans in the oven. Using his Hellphone, he set an alarm. "Well, we have 45 minutes for the cake layers to be ready."

Charlie turned the pages in silence, but her nostalgic and joyful smile grew brighter with each passing moment. She decided to look at one of the first photos in the album. It was one of the most important photos of her life. It was unbelievable to see the picture of when she first found Moxxie. His face showed sadness and fear, and his face was dirty with scratches and dirt. But in the next photo, they were both in their robes after taking a bath on the same day.

"I have a theory about how they got these photos, but it's irrelevant... However, I remember this moment here. It was so difficult to earn your trust," Charlie commented as she closed her eyes.

Charlie Pov:

How could I forget... Emerging from the bath, revitalized after an exhausting afternoon that ended a relationship between me and a boyfriend I had trusted for so many years... only to replace a man with a boy, a noble with an imp.

The room service reception was courteous enough to leave the food cart in front of my suite, and that was enough for me to grab the food and set the table for myself and the imp, who was sitting on the bed, looking down.

After setting the table, I carried the little imp, still covered in his robe, and let him sit on the other side of the round table where the food was placed. I prepared the plates for the two of us.

I never realized how hungry I was at that moment because before I knew it, I had already eaten half of my spaghetti. Then I noticed... the little imp in front of me was just sitting there, not even touching his fork.

"Is everything okay, Moxxie? Don't you like the dish?" I asked, growing concerned. The little imp seemed to be starving, and his lack of interest in the plate made me feel like I had made a mistake, leaving me unsure of what to do.

His lack of voice made me even more anxious until I stood up from the table and looked directly at him.

"AHHHH!" The little imp screamed in fright, which startled me too, causing me to slip and sit on the floor. "Oops. I'm sorry."

I looked at the little imp, who appeared genuinely scared and regretful for screaming in front of me. Seeing his tear-filled face, I quickly stood up.

"It's okay, Moxxie. I'm fine. It was nothing. Please, Moxxie, tell me what happened. Do you want something else to eat?" I approached him and noticed that his beef wellington remained untouched, and even the lobster hadn't been taken out of its shell.

"I don't know," Moxxie replied, causing me to raise an eyebrow, and the way he held the knife and fork misaligned made me realize.

I called myself an idiot. He still doesn't know how to cut the meat, and how is he going to eat the lobster when he's only four years old? I had never felt so foolish, and the child in front of me was starving.

"Do you want me to cut it for you?" I asked sweetly, silently begging him to accept my help.

I've never felt so relieved to see him nod. So I carefully cut the meat into small pieces and watched as little Moxxie picked up his tiny fork and started eating.

Holding your breath due to stress is not recommended, but I have no idea how long I had been holding that breath.

The relief was enough; at least now he was being fed. But I had no idea what to do next. It was so sudden for me, and I felt a strong desire to help, but I didn't know if he could form complete sentences. He had only been giving me short answers, and considering how easily he got scared, I was unsure. I really wanted to help this poor boy.

I returned to my chair and continued finishing my dinner. Although I wanted to talk to him, no words came out of my mouth. I found it difficult to communicate with him... And before I knew it, both of us had finished eating, and we just stood there staring at the table. I didn't want to force the little imp to do something he didn't want to, but this fear and uncertainty of what to do was slowly driving me crazy.

Then, when I least expected it, I heard him yawn, and his eyes grew heavier.

"Oh, it looks like it's time to sleep, Moxxie." I stood up, and as I approached him, he recoiled, clearly frightened. The worst part was his lack of speech; he simply didn't talk or say anything, except when I asked him or when he talked about his father... It truly broke my heart, and I wanted to help him so badly. "Please, Moxxie, I won't hurt you. I need you to trust me."

The little boy in the robe blinked and looked at how desperately I wanted him to trust me.

"Okay." His voice was weak as if he were surrendering in defeat, which was what I wanted so badly. Although it was painful to hear the tone of his voice like that, I was so happy I couldn't help but hug him and carry him to my master suite's bed.

"That's good. I'll put you in this bed while I prepare the sofa for myself to sleep. So please, get comfortable." I smiled at him reassuringly, placed a blanket over him, and made sure he was well.

He seemed exhausted, and when I finally laid him down on the bed, it didn't take long for his little eyes to finally close, nearly bringing an end to a complicated day in my life. Although I was also tired, I didn't feel sleepy yet, so I went to prepare a cup of tea using the coffee maker. Having the option of coffee or tea in hotels and suites was really a good idea.

And strangely enough, dealing with this child made me forget the immense pain I had felt earlier in the day. Of course, I still felt terrible and awful about ending my relationship, but by staying and taking care of this little imp, I felt that it wasn't the end of the world for me, and I needed to move forward...

That's when I started to hear a faint crying that interrupted my thoughts. Realizing that there was only one other person with me in the room, I looked at the bed and noticed that Moxxie was crying with his eyes closed.

"Mama, mama, where are you... Daddy hit me, Daddy wants me to disappear, help me, mama," Although his words were muffled, I could clearly hear the desperation and fear in his voice. My heart ached as I saw that he was only 4 YEARS OLD. I felt a mixture of pain, hatred towards the wretch who had done this to him, and pity for the poor child who was left alone without his mother...

I approached the bed and realized he was having a nightmare.

"Moxxie, it's okay, I'm here. Everything will be alright." I spoke softly and calmly, but my words seemed unable to alleviate the nightmare. This made me question what I should do to help this poor imp...

That's when I remembered a recent popular song that I had heard my mother sing when she encountered a talented boy in the realm of the living.

"She was 19 with a baby on the way On the East-side of the city, she was working every day. Cleaning dishes in the evening, she could barely stay awake. She was clinging to the feeling that her luck was gonna change. And, across town she'd take the bus at night to a one bedroom apartment. And then she'd turn on the light. She would sit down at the table. Tell herself that it's alright. She was waiting on the day that she hoped her baby would arrive. She'd never be alone. Have someone to hold And when nights were cold, she'd say…" I sang for the little imp as my hands touched his tiny skin, and petted his hair, and by singing this simple song, I could see him stopping struggling, and for that moment, his nightmares seemed to be slowly being replaced by a dream… I decided to touch his hands. "The world's not perfect but it's not that bad If we got each other and that's all we have I will be your mother and I'll hold your hand You should know I'll be there for you And the world's not perfect When the world's not kind If we have each other then we'll both be fine I will be your mother and I'll hold your hand You should know I'll be there for you"

And for that song, I started singing once again, but seeing that his hands were holding mine, I couldn't stop but smile weakly at this little imp who seemed to be changed from a simple imp to a cute fallen angel who was nearby me… And like that a little seed was planted inside of my heart, and I couldn't help but see that the song I was singing as a lullaby, was a fact that my heart and mind wanted so much to confess to him… that boy will never be alone… neither me, we have each other… And I will be his mother… And I will be there for him.

"Good times," Charlie commented as she hugged her son, feeling great joy in seeing her mother's love for her gift.

"Well, that day wasn't just your favorite day, but also the day that you changed my life... I love you, Mom. You're the best mother in the world." Moxxie kissed his mother's forehead, and she couldn't help but smile as she squeezed her little imp's cheeks. "Stop that."

Charlie smiled as her son playfully removed her hand from his face.

"It's not just me who changed your life, Moxxie, but many people around here as well," Charlie commented as she counted on her fingers the stories of how each member of their family had changed because she had adopted Moxxie. Her life had never been routine since becoming a single mother, and it was a challenge she had never anticipated when she first took him in.

"Oh, Mom, you're just saying that. I haven't done much..." Moxxie commented as he looked at the photo album, each person in it having a story he could remember. However, he couldn't know their perspective, as each person only remembers their own story... "You know, Mom... I still remember the words he said to me when I was escaping from that car in my nightmares."

Charlie, who had been happy at that moment, suddenly stopped, her face freezing. In response, she remained silent, waiting for her son to continue what was on his mind.

"I remember the words of that monster... saying that I would come back... if I didn't die on the streets, I would return to him..." Moxxie looked at his younger self in the first photo, seeing the pain he carried at that age. "I was so scared of him... but that idiot didn't know that the best mother in the world would save me a few days later."

Moxxie spoke with pride, but that didn't stop his mother from attacking him with a proud mother bear hug.

"AHHHHHH, MOXXIE, MY BABY, I'M SO HAPPY YOU BELIEVE THAT!" Charlie exclaimed as she squeezed her imp in a tight embrace.

"Mom... can't... breathe..." Moxxie struggled, but he couldn't stop the overpowering love of his mother that had enveloped him with all her might.

"Finally, in the middle of the night, there wasn't a good place to park," a voice could be heard from the other side of the door, as the eager sinner who had been waiting for the other guest finally let out a sigh but smiled as she opened the door.

"I was asking myself when you would arrive, hello Loona," Vaggie greeted the hellhound as she entered, carrying her backpack. The hellhound had long, wild hair, a golden earring in her right ear, and was wearing a beige and black dress that showcased the cleavage between her breasts. Her waist was adorned with a pentagram belt. Around her neck, she wore a necklace with obsidian pearls, and on her fingers, she had a rose gold wedding ring with a blood diamond.

A combination of elegance and infernal style wildness.

"Good evening, Vaggie," Loona responded as she looked around and noticed that they were alone. "Charlie forgot it was her birthday today, didn't she?"

Vaggie laughed, noticing that the Hellhound raised her eyebrow.

"You forgot too, didn't you?" Loona grinned, which made the sinner scoff, trying to avoid making eye contact with her girlfriend's daughter-in-law. "That's fine, you should see Moxxie, he has a calendar with everyone's birthdays and important meetings. I will ask him to make a calendar for you, pfff!"

Loona, who was just teasing, suddenly felt a slight wave of nausea, which she held back.

"Are you okay?" Vaggie asked, and Loona raised her hand to signal her not to come closer.

"I'm fine, just a little queasy," Loona replied, taking a deep breath. She regained her composure and decided to continue the conversation. "So, what... Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Is this queasiness frequent?" Vaggie's eyes widened as she couldn't help but feel anxious and ask.

"Oh, this? Only in the mornings..." Loona grinned, which shocked Vaggie, and she smiled in response. "Moxxie has no idea, and today is not the best day to tell him."

As Loona was about to enter, she suddenly felt the sinner's arms giving her a tight hug, unable to contain her emotions.

"I'm so happy for you both, congratulations to you both." Vaggie smiled as she shed a few tears, knowing that this would be a perfect gift not just for the imp, but for the princess who seemed to be waiting for something like that to happen in the future. "Does your father know that?"

"Oh, of course, he knows, never saw him cry like that for hours. He said he would appear this afternoon, so he must be sleeping by now. And since it's a good time that they may be working together, maybe they were looking at Moxxie's present, I know that they are looking at the gift until now. And I have to confess that the gift is a blast. I have no idea how Moxxie did it, but I'm glad if we go there and see the gift as well." Loona smiled as Vaggie rolled her eyes, and noticing the luggage by the door, Vaggie picked it up with her spear and brought it inside, closing the cold door behind her.

Vaggie could tell herself with certainty that Charlie's birthday morning had started in a very happy way, and she couldn't have wished for anything better.

"Oh carajo, Me olvidé Charlie's gift." Vaggie said to herself as she noticed that she had a few hours to find something to give to her girlfriend.
