Saiyans of Earthland

"Oh damn, it feels so good to have both arms again." Kaen smiled, rotating both his arms, as if loosening up his joints.

"An' to fly as well." Mina smiled, flying beside them. "I love how I could fly again, once we got out of range of Galuna Island's magic."

"Remind me again, how something like this is possible?" Grey questioned, awkwardly staring at Kaen's regenerated arm.

"It's thanks to the Senzu Beans." Mina stated. "Kaen and I don't really know where they came from. All we know is, Celeron had them when he returned, and then Kaen's sister Athena, grew her own from a sample she got, and gave us a bag of them before the accident that sent us here."

"Senzu Beans are truly something to marvel at. To think they could grow back entire limbs that have been lost." Lucy said.

"But they're not all powerful." Kaen hissed. "One was enough to regenerate my arm, but my other injuries only had some minor healing done thanks to it. Nothing I can't work through though."

"You could really monopolize them for a profit." Grey stated. "You could make a killing."

"Not a good idea, Grey. If we started doing that, we'd rest solely on Mina's Duplication Void for our stock. An' even if we worked around that, the Council would demand to be the ones solely in control of distribution, and that would be followed up by questions on how they work, where we got them from, and what we intended to do with them." Kaen said.

"Papa's smart like that." Eri said, sitting atop Erza's luggage.

"This is where we part ways." Mina said, plucking Eri off the carriage. "We've got a lot of shopping to do, and Eri's grounded for a month after that stunt she pulled with the S-Class quest."

"I still have to give my report to the master." Kaen said. "I'll see ya at home, kay?"

"See ya Hun." Mina called to him as they left for the market.

"So, why didn't you give us a Senzu Bean for our injuries again?" Grey asked.

"Consider it punishment from me for getting Eri involved in your little scheme with the S-Class Quest." Kaen said.

"But I had nothing to do with it." Grey stated.

"True, but you didn't try harder to stop them either." Erza added.

"All that work, and we still didn't get the reward money." Lucy sighed.

"Quit complaining, at least Kaen gave you the Golden Celestial Gate Key that was part of the reward." Natsu said. "Lousy jerk hogging all the jewel for himself."

"He was the one who not only fought Deliora, but also completed the S-Class quest on his own, all while missing an arm mind you." Erza stated. "But still, did you have to turn Lyon and his three companions in to the authorities?"

"I don't care if they saw their actions as justified, just because every one of them lost their homes and families to Deliora. If you try to murder someone, let alone an entire village, you're gonna be thrown in jail." Kaen exclaimed, gritting his teeth in anger.

"He's still kinda sore about what happened to Eri thanks to Yuka." Natsu whispered to Erza.

"I heard that." Kaen said.

"Well, on the bright side, at least now you have enough money to put in a down payment for that house you and Mina were thinking of buying." Erza said.

"First… I gotta make things official between us." Kaen sighed.

"What's that mean?" Natsu asked.

"While Mina and I might be married, in the ways of Saiyan Culture, we're not officially married in the eyes of Fiore Law." Kaen stated.

"So to make things official, you mean you're…"

"That's right." Kaen chuckled with a light blush, dusting his cheeks. "I'm gonna plan and put together a whole ceremony and service. Nothing too big or fancy, just something that'll really make her smile, ya know?"

"What a wonderful idea." Erza smiled.

"Yeah, congrats man, wait until everyone else at the guild hears this." Grey said.

"Speaking of the guild, you four are in serious trouble. Just pray that the Master doesn't assign you, to that, as your punishment." Erza stated.

Natsu, Grey, and Happy stopped, as they froze in horror. They could remember the last time they received, that, as their punishment for breaking the rules of the guild, and it still left them with nightmares. Seeing the other threes reactions, Lucy became terrified about what, that, might actually be.

"Uh Erza, what exactly is, that?" Kaen questioned, as they neared the guildhall.

"Just something, the Master came up with in his early days as the Fairy Tail Guild Master, to punish those who strayed out of line with the rules." Erza smirked.

'She acts so mighty and proud, but dollars to doughnuts, she's suffered, that, just like anyone else who's broken the rules.' Kaen thought, before he noticed something. "Guys, everyone's looking at us, with pity and empathy. An' they're all chattering like we're the hottest gossip in town."

"Word about us taking on that quest, must have spread through town." Natsu smirked.

"No." Kaen said, spotting the guild hall up ahead, his eyes reflecting the shadowed silhouette. "I think it has something to do, with what's happened to the guild."

The team stopped, as they looked ahead at the guildhall, and their eyes widened as they saw it was in shambles, with iron rods sticking out of the structure as it was falling apart.

"What happened to our guild?" Erza questioned, her voice filled with horror.

There was a tense moment of silence, as the team let the sight of the wrecked guild hall sink in.

"Who…" Natsu growled, tears in his eyes. "Who the hell did this to our Guild Hall?"

"What's the meaning of this?" Erza questioned.

"That's our guild…" Natsu said, on the brink of breaking down.

"What happened here?" Erza asked.

"It was Phantom." The familiar voice of Mirajane said, as she came up behind them, with the team turning to look at her. "I hate to say it, but they defeated us."

~Guild Hall Basement~

"Hey, Erza and Kaen are back." One of the Guild members called out.

"The others are with them too." Another said.

"Did you see? What they did to our guild?" Nab questioned. "Damn it."

"Those Phantom Lord Creeps, look what they did!"

"We never did get along with them!"

"Now we're gonna have to take their guild out!"

"Calm down, we're talking about Phantom Lord here for crying out loud."

"Where's the master?" Kaen asked.

"Yo!" Makarov called to them, from where he sat on a barrel drinking a mug of ale. "Welcome home. Glad to see everyone is safe and sound."

"For the most part." Kaen said. 'Is he drunk?'

"Hey old man. This is no time to be drinking." Natsu shouted.

"Oh, you're right. You people stole an S-Class quest, and went off without permission, while dragging Kaen and Mina's daughter into that whole fiasco." Makarov said, his voice getting very agitated. "You will be punished. I will now dole out your punishment. Prepare yourselves."

"This is not the time for that Gramps." Natsu shouted, before he was chopped on the head.

Makarov chopped Grey, and Happy on the head as well, while he smacked Lucy's ass, causing her to cry out in shock.

"Hands to yourself Master." Mira said, sounding a bit irritated.

"Master, do you realize the situation you're in?" Erza questioned.

"The guild's in ruins." Natsu added, both of them practically shouting as they were fuming mad.

"Oh just pipe down. It's nothing to fuss over about." Makarov sighed, before drinking.

"What?" Grey questioned.

"That's enough." Kaen said, drawing their attention to him. "Let it go."

"You can't be serious. I know you and Lucy haven't exactly been here long, but…"

"I said, that's enough Natsu." Kaen stated, giving the fire breather his own chop to the head, before getting his own drink. "Look, no one said that I was fine with this. Farthest thing from it, same goes for the Master."

"Then why are you both so calm about this?" Erza asked. "The Guild is in ruins."

"The Guild is perfectly in tact." Kaen groaned. "It's the building that's in ruins."

"I don't follow." Lucy said.

"Same here." Grey said.

"Look." Kaen sighed. "Back on my world, there's a hero known as Thor. He was the prince of an entire kingdom, a world known as Asgard, wielding the mighty hammer Mjolnir. I even fought alongside him, as my family vacation was ruined by invading forces. But can you guess what happened to Asgard, after an apocalyptic prophecy came to be?"

"It was destroyed?" Happy asked, as the entire basement went silent, as they listened in on what Kaen was saying.

"No. Asgard survived, and made a new home for themselves on Earth in Greenland." Kaen stated, leaving out the bits about Thanos's attack on the refugees ship. "Asgard wasn't a place, it was the people. An' just like Asgard, Fairy Tail is its people, not the building we inhabit. Fairy Tail still stands, and will not fall so easily."

"Couldn't have said it better myself my boy." Makarov smiled, before hopping down from the barrel.

"Where are you going?" Mira questioned.

"Keep your skirt on, I'm going to take a leak." Makarov stated.

Kaen looked at Makarov as he ran to the bathroom in the basement, before his attention was drawn to Mira.

"Was anybody hurt in the attack?" Kaen asked.

"No." Mira smiled. "Thankfully, Phantom Lord attacked in the middle of the night, after I had finished locking up."

"That's a spot of sunshine in the dark at least." Kaen sighed.

"How can that old man be so relaxed about this?" Natsu asked. "You too Kaen, what gives?"

"Natsu, the Master's just as angry about this as you are." Mira said. "Even Kaen's mad, he's just not showing it."

"But in case you forgot, armed conflict between guild was outlawed for a reason. The great war during Master Mavis's time would be a prime example as to why." Kaen stated. "I might have only been in this world, for several months, but even I know that we'd just be asking for trouble from the council if we retaliated with force."

"They started it." Natsu exclaimed.

"Doesn't matter." Kaen sighed. "All we can do is report this to the Council, and hope to Beerus above, that they'll take action against Phantom Lord, for whoever in their guild did this to our hall. There's nothing we can do about Phantom Lord. For now though, I think it's safe to assume our attackers are still out in the town. Which means, we shouldn't be alone at all for the next couple days."

"What do you suggest?" Erza asked.

Kaen just looked to them, before he smiled. "Natsu, Lucy, Grey, Happy, Erza. How would the five of you feel about having a sleepover at my place for the next couple nights?"

~That Night~

"Welcome everyone, to our home." Mina smiled, inviting everyone in. "I know it might be a bit cramped, but I can assure you, we've got plenty snacks and refreshments." She said, showing them the spread of chips, soda, and other assorted snacks they'd never seen before.

"Whoa, they all look so tasty." Natsu said.

"Mina, where did you get Oreos, Doritos, Ripple Cut Barbecue chips, and the rest of these snacks and drinks from Earth?" Kaen questioned.

"I… might have stuffed them in my carry on, to try and sneak to our Disney Trip and snack on them during the plane ride." Mina said, rather sheepishly.

"Mina." Kaen sighed.

"Oh would you look at the time? Market closes soon, and I'm all out of my morning moisturizer, I'll be back in a jiff." Mina said, before running out the door.

"What was that about?" Lucy asked.

"Mina sometimes… has a habit of trying to be sneaky, when she knows she'll get caught." Kaen said. "Planes in our world go through strict security checks, and Mina like to try and see just how strict they can be, by trying to sneak on outside food."

"Plane food is expensive." Eri said munching on some chips.

"Ah, not you young lady. Bed." Kaen stated. "Besides, you're still grounded."

"Aw." Eri whined, before going back to her room.

"Being a dad, is hard." Kaen sighed, grabbing a bottle of Dr. Pepper and opening it.

"Looks like it." Grey chuckled.

"All of you stink. I thought I told you to go and get cleaned up before coming here." Kaen said, catching a whiff of their stench. "At the very least, go take a bath. The tub's big enough for you to go in groups of two or more."

"No way, too much of a hassle." Natsu grumbled.

"I'm too tired to go bathe." Grey complained.

"Then you leave me no choice." Erza said, grabbing their shoulders. "We'll just have to take a bath together like we used to when we were little."

"What kind of relationship do you three have?" Lucy gasped, missing the looks of discomfort on Natsu and Greys faces.

"No funny business. Eri's room is right down the hall." Kaen said.

~Mina~

"Oh man, I wasn't lying when I said I ran out of moisturizer, but they closed right when I got there. What am I gonna do now?" Mina questioned, sulking as she made her way home.

"Hey, it's Mina."

The pink haired girl looked up, and smiled when she saw Levy, accompanied by Jet and Droy, walking down the street, with the blue haired girl holding a bag of groceries.

"Hey girl, we missed you at the Guild." Levy said.

"Sorry, I had to take care of a few things. An' I had to punish Eri for that stunt she pulled." Mina said. "I heard about what happened to the guild hall, are you guys okay?"

"We're totally fine. Though Kaen suggested no one be alone tonight since the enemy could still be in town." Levy said.

"Totally, so we're gonna be spending the night with Levy." Jet stated.

"She's crashing at our place." Droy smiled.

"Try anything with her, and I'll boil you both alive in bubbles of acid." Mina stated.

"Yes, ma'am." Jet and Droy said, saluting her.

"Well, it's kinda strange seeing you out this late on your own. Did you get in a fight with Kaen or something?" Levy asked.

"Not really. I ran out of my morning moisturizer, and forgot to pick some up when I was out shopping earlier. But the store closed before I could get any, so I'm just heading home, empty handed now." Mina sighed.

"Wait, hold on." Levy said, digging through her bag. "We use the same brand right? Here, take it." She smiled, pulling a container of moisturizer out of the paper bag.

"What? Really, are you sure?" Mina asked.

"Totally. I still have enough left in my current jar to last me a couple days, so this is no big deal." Levy smiled.

"Oh Levy thank you. I promise I'll get a replacement jar for you, first thing in the morning." Mina smiled.

"Relax girl, I know you're good for it." Levy smiled, as they shared a laugh, none of them noticing the silhouette on the roof above, looking down at them with a menacing smirk forming on his face.

Mina's laughter suddenly stopped, as she felt a menacing presence, before she dropped the jar, and ran at Levy, her fighting instincts kicking in as she shouted one thing.

"Look out…"

~Sleepover~

"That's so much better." Erza said, sitting on the couch, wrapped in a towel.

"Say, I've been curious about something." Lucy said, grabbing a chocolate milk, with a towel sitting around her shoulders, dressed in her pajamas. "Why would Phantom Lord just attack out of the blue like that?"

"Who knows? We've had run ins with them in the past, but this is the first direct attack that I've seen." Erza said, as she requipped into her pajamas.

"I wish the old man would stop being scared, and take them on head first." Natsu grumped.

"Natsu we've been over this." Kaen sighed in annoyance. "Attacking Phantom Lord directly, will land Fairy Tail, in a world of trouble. Even if it's in retaliation to what they did, it'd still be an act of war, a war that would get both guilds, forcefully disbanded, for life."

"Besides, Gramps isn't scared. But like us, they do have a Wizard Saint on their side." Grey added.

"Wizard Saint?" Lucy questioned.

"It's a title granted to the ten greatest wizard on the continent, bestowed upon said wizards by the head of the council." Kaen said.

"Wow, that's so amazing." Lucy said in awe.

"Phantom Lords Master Jose, just so happens to be one of these Ten Wizard Saints." Kaen stated. "Same for Master Makarov. He holds a seat among those ten Wizard Saints. Not to mention there are several Wizard Saints on the Council as well."

"Gramps is just scared! Phantom Lord's got more members to!" Natsu stated, before Kaen hit him with an axe kick to the head, while still sitting on the couch.

"That's enough out of you Natsu, go to sleep." Kaen exclaimed with a tick mark on his forehead.

"Both the Master, and Mirajane knows what would happen if both guilds devolved into an all out war in the open." Grey stated. "They're trying to avoid that, for the safety of the entire magic world."

"Is Phantom Lord really that powerful?" Lucy asked.

"Hard to say." Kaen said. "I had a run in with one of their members who tried, recruiting, me by force a couple weeks before I ran into you and Natsu. Guy was tough, for an Iron Dragonslayer."

"Iron Dragonslayer?" Lucy gulped. "Does that mean he eats iron?"

"Just as how Natsu eats fire. In fact, the guild's destruction might be his handy work, I'd recognize that magic iron anywhere." Kaen stated. "But, he's not the worst that Phantom Lord has to offer."

"He's right." Erza added. "Master Jose is said to have the same magical prowess as Master Makarov, making them equally matched in terms of their magical strength. But there are those, close to his level of power."

"Right, almost forgot about them. I've heard rumors, but I've never seen them in person myself." Kaen stated. "The S-Class Mages, known as the Element 4. Blacksteel's power is said to rival that of all four of them combined, which makes him real bad news."

"Just how strong… is Phantom Lord?" Lucy questioned.

'Mina should have gotten home by now. Maybe she ran into another team from the guild, and is taking her time getting home.' Kaen thought, though he couldn't help but feel somewhat worried about what was keeping his wife out late so long.

~The Next Morning: Magnolia South Gate Park~

Everything was all a bustle in the park. Normally, things were this lively so early in the morning. But today was the exception, due to what hung from the great Cherry Blossom Tree. The crowd gathered were all in shock, and worried about what they were seeing, as it would surely mean the start of something.

"Out of our way, please, we're from their guild." Erza said, pushing through the crowd, wearing her armor.

Natsu, Lucy, Grey, Happy, and Kaen were close behind, before Kaen's eyes shrank in horror, and like a bolt of lightning, he was instantly at the tree, and destroy the restraints on one of the hanging figures, before catching her and gently bringing her to the ground.

"Mina. MINA." Kaen shouted. "Please wake up, please."

The crowd looked in horror, as Kaen reached a shaking hand up, and gently took her tail, severed from her body, and tied around her neck like a scarf, being sure not to cause her, any more pain. Kaen looked back up at the tree, and saw the other three that were still hanging there. Bolted to the stump, with the iron nails piercing their forearms, were Team Shadow Gear, bloodied, broken, and unconscious.

"Oh no." Lucy gasped. "Levy."

"Jet, Droy." Grey gasped.

"That sigil." Erza said, her body trembling in anger as she recognized the marks painted in blood on both Mina, and Levy's exposed abdomens. "The Phantom."

An immense power began resonating through the air, and the crowd parted again, for Makarov as he made his way to the scene, his body trembling when he stopped, and looked upon the gruesome sight.

"Master." Kaen said, looking at Makarov, as anger radiated from his very being.

Makarov looked to Kaen, before turning his head down, and covering his face with his hand, in some vein attempt at holding in his rage.

"I could look the other way, when they trashed and destroyed our hall." Makarov exclaimed. "It's nothing more then a building, a place that can be rebuilt."

The ground beneath the crowds feet began to tremble as both Kaen, and Makarov let off immense power, while Kaen's power was Ki, and Makarov's was his magic. No one had ever seen Kaen so pissed, but they knew, the look in his eyes meant he had a lust for, murder.

"But no father, can see the blood of his children, and stay silent." Makarov exclaimed, his angered eyes meeting Kaen's, as they both spoke out, with pure rage in their voices, and power radiating all around them.

"THIS MEANS WAR!"

~A/N~

I will be writing this based on either manga, or anime, depending on which one I find myself interested in using, going further.
