When I didn't inform you of the Review Response of Painful Passions Miraculous one-shot in this one. Yet I get that under your skin? That's cute, if you wanted my attention that badly simple: PM me honey. Okay, your assumed group basically 'join us or die here' similar to a cult. Right. . .as before, no it didn't. You think I back talked? Obviously you misinterpreted my words. Sad for you, but hey, be who you are. 😘

Arms crossed strongly, red eyes glare into the relaxing deep lake water. As his black back quills stab into the pink cherry blossom petal tree bark. Shaking his ebony/red quilled head. Still those thoughts plague him.

'Why do I feel this? She is weaker then me. She is obsessed with that Faker. Still. . . She risked engaging me on ARK. Helped me keep by promise to Maria. She is. . .is truly breathtaking, where that crazy bat is gorgeous. Rose is effulgent, caring, pure.'

Again he tries to shake away those thoughts. Once again he fails to stop them. Turning his red eyes up at the dancing petals falling, a sigh escapes him.

"Maria, what do I do? What am I doing to myself?"

He seems to plead to the heavens for any answer. It's small but a single pink cherry blossom petal floats down resting on his long black nose. Red eyes follow as it's blown with the slight cold winds ahead. As it caresses the air around it, said sakura hedgehog races down towards the lake edge. Stopping at the body of water, looks as tho she hasn't noticed him.

'Rose?'

Pondering the possibilities of her sudden appearance, the Ultimate Lifeform doesn't register he walks towards her. Black furred triangle ears twitch getting closer. So quiet, sadly not tranquil anymore. . .

"Sonic, why don't you love me?"

Her horsed voice states through the passing winds. More painful tears fall down her soft peach muzzle. Freezing in his place just imagining those beautiful jade eyes hurt, he feels a rage within. Walking up faster, he grunts immediately grabbing her attention.

"Oh, Shadow hi." False cheer in her voice, as she turns slightly to her left. Fails at wiping away her still falling tears. She breaks casual eye contact, forcing a smile. Glancing down at her black coated pink laced sneakered feet, a genuine smile grows on her. Red eyes glance down as well, to find tiny delicate dandelions surrounding them.

Leaning down she grasps one in between her pointer and thumb. Smiling transfixed on the tiny delicate thing. "We will both heal. . ."

She doesn't elaborate, but he doesn't need her too. Gently she offers the dandelion to him. Shadow takes it out her smaller hand, staring at it. As if it held his answers. Seeing her sit in the luscious greenery, her pink ears twitch in the chill. Hugging herself to stay warm.

"Stupid me, chasing after him. I forget my jacket."

Not aware she spoke out loud, Shadow glances down at the dandelion again. At her short sleeved black pink rose pattern T-shirt and plain pink jeans. Quickly vanishes without a trace. Not seeing her disappointed face nor her ears dip down as she sighs sadly.

Reappears behind her just as quickly. Before she can turn around to face him. He places a big purple blanket around her shoulders, snuggling into it. She smiles but it's obvious what she wants to know.

"You're welcome Rose. I'm not cold. It's that crazy bat's meddlesome idea."

Finally that has her giggle returning. He cracks a small smile. At his so-called sister's expense too. Knowing she is calming, he allows himself to sit by her. Fair enough distance between them, the peaceful moment ends then either would have liked as Shadow stands up turning fully around in a fighting stance.

In the far darkness of the inner woods, a metallic snake-in-a-bowl shows himself. Lyric's reptilian eyes glare, "Hand it to me, sweet Amy Rose."

Shadow turns to find Amy carefully holding the green Chaos Emerald. Her own jade eyes defiant. Lyric slithers closer. Amy moves closer to Shadow.

"Not going to happen. This emerald belongs to Shadow."

Despite their annoying situation, the ebony hog smiles at her claim. Lyric leaps at her, Shadow sliding under him, kicks Lyric's under belly. Going in to grab him, metallic arms snapping, Shadow zooms out of range. Bridle carrying the flattered sakura hedgehog out of sight of the evil snake.

Red eyes look down at the girl, finding their eyes locked. The smile on her face, a silent thank you he knows.

"Faker doesn't know Lyric is after you."

Amy knows that's not a question. She nods into his white chest fur. "Shadow, Rouge's blanket!"

Of all things to be concerned with, that they left behind, he chuckles lowly. Suddenly stopping his gliding, still holding Amy as she holds the green chaos emerald.

"Now what it is?"

She pouts angrier. Shadow's in line to agree. As the Blue Blur himself, finally arrives. Giving off an annoyed vibe, his green eyes narrow at the display he sees.

"Ames come here, Lyric was-"

"We know that Faker. Don't concern yourself now. Rose is fine."

Shadow states, hugging Amy closer against his body. Both Amy and Sonic blush for different reasons at the Ultimate Lifeform's action. Still Sonic gestures forward. Amy looks between them glaring at one another. Yet she doesn't move from her position in Shadow's hold.

"Shadow, put Amy down."

"Don't order me Faker. Besides does Rose want me too?"

With both males' eyes on her, she sighs annoyed. Offering the green chaos emerald to Shadow. Squeaks as he swiftly holds her against him with one hand. Gripping the offered jewel in his left. Amy blushes so deeply red, Sonic growls unnoticed by her, not Shadow.

"Chaos Control-"

Sonic's hands grip the jewel just before they disappear. White light engulfs the 3. Shadow harshly pushes Sonic away when they land. Red eyes finally noticing their surroundings. But they alone think on his mind is. . .

"Rose are you alright?"

"SHADOW!"

She screams pushing him away from her. Robots with eggman's logo appear. "Ultimate Lifeform Found!"

But what shocks Shadow and Sonic is the robot goes after Amy. Suddenly a HUGE pink hammer zooms past her position. The robot on contact explodes.

Amy and the guys turn to find, a SECOND AMY ROSE! Leaping down from a tree, she speeds towards them, scoffing peach arms crossed her ponytailed pink quills bristling still. Her blood red eyes glaring dangerously.

"Who are you?"
