Chapter Four: Home

Disclaimer: See Chapter One

Hey, Everyone. Welcome back. I know I have been gone for a bit, but what is new. I felt like finishing this chapter tofay so, yeah.

Enjoy.

Returning home, Cosmo set Timmy down on his own two feet. Timmy began to pace pondering everything he had just learned. The people that he called his parents were actually his adoptive parents, his fairy godparents were his birth parents who turned him mortal for his safety. A somber, silent mood had descended on the Cosma family, aside from Poof being a cute, happy baby.
Cosmo and Wanda, still in their human-esque forms, with bigger sized wings sporting out of their backs, sat on the edge of Timmy's bed.

As he watched his first son pace, Cosmo tried to lighten Timmy's mood. "It's funny, your hair grows like mine."

"Yeah, I guess it does." Timmy had noticed the similarity before, but thought it merely a coincidence. Not that it was a major connection to his parents, it was an interesting thing, nonetheless.

Both Fairy Parents could tell that this was bothering their older son, so they decided that it may be best to distract him for a moment. "Do you want to hold your baby brother?" Wanda asked. Timmy nodded.

Timmy sat on his bed, between his parents and Wanda placed Poof into his arms. The ball of joy giggled at his brother. Both Parents wrapped their arms around the other, with their sons in between them.

"Timmy, we know this is a big change for you. We are not going to downplay that, however, we do hope that you will, in time, accept us as your parents," Cosmo said. His voice carried a father's love.

Timmy was silent for a moment, "You don't know much I have secretly wanted to be a fairy. As you guys know, my human parents can't always be counted on to be good parents, and there are times that I thought of you guys as my parents.

"Well, considering how many times we have filled in for them at certain things, not a surprise at all," Wanda said. Timmy tickled Poof's stomach, who giggled.

"Do I get a room in the castle, too?" Timmy asked. He thought of the time he wandered the Castle and the hassle of the Hall of Infamy.

"Yes, but it's not like we will be using the castle for much longer. Well, until our next assignment," Wanda answered.

"How soon will you guys have to return to work as it were?" Timmy asked, considering that Jorgen officially removed them as his godparents.

"Not for a while, we have enough money saved up to last us for a good bit. Also, our severance package for being with you longer than most other children should be a hefty one," Wanda explained.

"Jorgen doesn't like to admit it, but we are among the highest paid godparents he has, despite the fact that we can drive him crazy sometimes," Cosmo said.

"Dear, I think that is why we are in his cross hairs as much, it's because we are so highly paid," Wanda said.
"Probably," Cosmo agreed.

"I think the thing that is getting me is that no one will remember me, outside of magical beings."
"Yeah, that is the long and short of it, unfortunately."

"Couldn't my friends remember me if I told them that I was moving far away and that they may never see me again.

"While that would be a sound idea, sport, that would not work considering your adoptive parents would still be here,"

"Right, what about my friends from that odd bulgy dimension, Retroville Jimmy and his friends?" Timmy asked.

"That is a good question. I guess Jorgen will have to take a trip to that dimension to take care of things. Or maybe not, as you haven't seen them in a bit.

As Timmy looked down at his new baby brother, something from the discussion at the hospital came up in his mind. "What do you guys think about my Anti-Fairy, does he exist?"

"For every fairy, there is an opposite Anti-Fairy. Though it gets weird when someone of another magic species becomes a godparent through Fairy Idol." Wanda was referring to why there was no Anti-Norm. "Now, if I were to hazard a guess as to why no one knows of him, is that my counterpart must have had a moment of brilliance and hid him away, even from Anti-Cosmo," Wanda pondered.

"So you think he exists?" Timmy asked.

"Something tells me that he does indeed exist, and that we'll be meeting him soon," Wanda said. If only she knew how right she was.
Anti-Fairy World

Anti-Wanda led her husband out of the castle and flew toward the Big Anti-Wand. She led them to a high cave. As they entered the dark cave, Anti-Wanda showed her husband to an outcropping.

"There he is," She gestured with her arm.

Anti-Cosmo was shocked, his son was on some kind of life support system. "What happened to him?" Anti-Cosmo asked, concerned.

"After our fairy selves turned their Timmy mortal, he was born very ill. I did what I could, but," she began to cry. Anti-Cosmo hugged his wife to support her. "I asked Dr. Anti-Rip Anti-Studwell to come and tend to Anti-Timmy, then hit him in the head with a frying pan so that he would not remember this."

"You did the right thing by hiding him, as it would have only brought problems to our doorstep, being both Fairy and Anti-Fairy Councils."

"I don't know how to fix him," Anti-Wanda said.

"You may not, but I think I do. Timmy Turner must return to being a fairy at once," Anti-Cosmo declared.

He floated up to his ill son, and placed a hand on his head. He looked a lot like his counterpart, except his skin was Anti Fairy blue. He had fangs like his father, but closer together like Timmy's buck teeth.

Anti-Timmy's eyes opened to see his father. Emerald green met light blue, and the young Anti-Fairy automatically knew who the older one was. To Anti-Cosmo, it did seem a bit off putting that his son's eyes were light blue, not a normal color for Anti-Fairies, being red. However, his were as green as Cosmo's and his wife's were as pink as her Wanda.

"Father?" His weak voice asked.

"Yes, it is I, Anti-Cosmo," his sharp British voice was soft for his son.

"Where's Mum?" he asked. Anti-Cosmo picked up on the british accent in Anti-Timmy's voice.

"Right here, sweetie," Anti-Wanda floated up on the other side of the bed.

"Help me," Anti-Timmy said. His eyes pleading with his parents.

"We will, I think I know what is wrong with you and I intend to fix it. Your fairy counterpart must become a fairy again. I will see to it." Anti-Cosmo ran a hand through Anti-Timmy's hair and placed a kiss on his forehead. Turning to his wife, "Stay with him. I will return shortly." She nodded and Anti-Cosmo anti-poofed out.

Timmy's room.

As the Fairywinkle-Cosma family enjoyed some family time, they heard a poof, meaning a fairy had come. Cosmo thought it was initially his mother, but was surprised, concerned, and protective when he saw his Anti-Fairy floating there. "What do you want? Have you come to make us rue the day?"

"Not yet, but I have come on the matter of my son, Anti-Timothy."

"You found him?" Timmy asked, as he handed Poof back to Wanda who held her second child close to her in protection, and got off his bed.

"I did, and that is why I have come," Anti-Cosmo said. In a flash of speed, Anti-Cosmo grabbed Timmy's shirt and moved to pin him against the wall. Both parents stood from the bed in concern, as Anti-Cosmo's black wand was held level with Timmy's head and began to glow blue.

"He is sick, very sick. You must become a fairy again to restore him to health. Say the words: I wish I was a fairy!" Anti-Cosmo commanded.

"It won't work, Da' Rules forbids it," Timmy said, as he remembered Jorgen reading off a few things when he wished for Poof. A yellow blast of magic struck Anti-Cosmo, sending him away from Timmy. The blast came from Cosmo's wand.

"Get away from my son, we were given a week. You will have to deal with that!" Cosmo snapped.

Anti-Cosmo stood up, now angry. A blast of blue magic flew from his wand at his counterpart. Cosmo blocked with his wand, batting it back at his counterpart, who deflected it into the ceiling.

Cosmo turned to Wanda, "Get Poof and Timmy to a safe corner." She nodded and did so, using her wand to raise a protective barrier around the three of them.

"You want a proper fight, come at me in a form like mine, but leave my family out of this," Cosmo said, as he turned his wand into a green bladed Light Wand.

Anti-Cosmo turned into a similar human form like Cosmo. "It seems this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of magic, but by our skills with a Light Wand." His black wand turned into a red Light Wand. Anti-Cosmo charged at his counterpart, swinging his blade at him. Cosmo blocked it and counterattacked.

Back and forth, the counterparts fought. To Anti-Cosmo's surprise, Cosmo held his own, and even seemed to have the upperhand in this duel. "How do you have so much dueling experience?"

"Timmy and I act out this movie wish a lot, so I get the practice," Cosmo said.

Timmy admitted to himself that it was partially because of the scene in question of the second Space Wars movie with Dark Laser saying that he was some hero's father, and when acted out, Cosmo always plays Dark Laser. To Timmy, hearing Cosmo say "I am your father," before taking the mask off and correcting himself to godfather, always struck a chord with Timmy, like it was true. Now he knew why.

Anti-Cosmo grit his teeth, he did not have any way of winning this as they crossed blades. To everyone's shock, seven people poofed into the room. Jorgen and both Fairy and Anti-Fairy Councils. Both counterparts looked over at them.

"Cease this contest," one of the Fairy Council said. Both combatants stood down and deactivated their blades and returned them to their base wand form.

"What are you guys doing here, I thought we had a week," Wanda said as she lowered the shield.

"We are here because we detected a duel between Fairy and Anti-Fairy," one of the Council said.

"He started it. He showed up and held my eldest son at wand point," Cosmo explained. The newcomers turned to the Anti-Fairy for explanation.

"I found my son, Anti-Timothy. He is very ill, like how Anti-Wanda and I were when this family swapped places for a day. He was born this ill and has been on life support for most of his life. He needs his counterpart to return to his fairy form to return to health," Anti Cosmo explained his actions.

"We know this. We have decided to agree with our fairy selves to allow one week of grace for the boy. Stand down and return home." One of the Anti-Fairy Council ordered.

Anti-Cosmo bared his teeth, his fangs prominently showing. "You presume to command me? I lead our people in the day to day, not you." It was ironic in some ways, where Jorgen was the enforcer and day to day leader of Fairy World, whose word was law, as one of the only people who could write down new rules in Da Rules, Anti-Cosmo was the same for the Anti-Fairies. He had half a mind to rally his race in a revolt against the Council.

"Go home, Anti-Cosmo. One Week is what you have to wait," The Anti-Fairy Council said in unison.

"This is not over." In anger, Anti-Cosmo poofed home. Their task done, the Anti-Fairy Council left as well. The Fairy Council now turned their attention to the Fairywinkle-Cosma family.

"Since we are here, may as well have our talk that we were to have next week," the blue robed fairy said. Wanda poofed up enough chairs for everyone to sit in.

"We are in trouble, aren't we?" Wanda asked.

"Not entirely," The purple robed one said.

"However, for the time being, you are forbidden from being godparents, until we decide that you are worthy of returning to it," the pink robed one said.

"Your severance package has been transferred to your account," the turquoise robed one said.

"We understand," Cosmo said.

"Besides, you have more important matters to attend to, raising two sons," The blue robed one said.

"Yes, we do," Wanda said, as she rocked Poof in her arms. With a nod of their heads, the Council was gone, leaving Jorgen behind.

"Since you are here, Jorgen, since you have wipe everyone's memory of me, do you have to travel to Retroville?" Timmy asked, hoping someone could remember him.

Jorgen thought for a moment, "No, I will have the council strengthen the barriers between realms. Your friends there will remember you, but can never again visit here."

"Well, that is something, at least," Timmy said.

"How generous was the severance pay?" Wanda asked.

Jorgen must have been in a good mood, as he didn't say that it was more than they deserved. "Very generous, enough to not have to work for a while on its own. Makes sense considering that they have suspended your godparent certificates until further judgment."

"That's good," Cosmo said. Jorgen left without another word. Cosmo stood up and picked Timmy up in his arms, and wrapped an arm around Wanda as she stood up, and the four of them poofed inside the castle to spend some family time with each other.

There you go, everyone. Chapter 4 of this tale. I had the idea for the lightsaber duel literally today while I was in the shower, because I remebered that in the one episode Wanda turned her wand into a pink lightsaber with a star at the end. It worked so I used it.

Next time, Timmy gets to go home to Fairy World. See you there.
