Prologue:

Enter, the unexpected hero...

A Human Dalek AKA a "Sec" the species, not the character. A human / Dalek hybrid, based on the Doctor Who episode, "Daleks in Manhattan".

This savior had blue skin, with a purple blush, and the occasional patch of freckles. He has a veiny body, an exposed brain, and one large eye (like a cyclops). He has a narrow face, flat and nose-less. Along with 3 short tentacles, at both sides of his head.

( Note )

These tentacles can stretch to incredible lengths. Normally only being 5 inches long, they can stretch to the length of a Football Field. As they are more dense then Diamonds, and stronger then titanium.

Unfortunately, the further out he stretches them, the more density they lose. So they can go from near invincible, to very weak.

Thankfully, the tentacles have a healing factor, growing back in an hour.

... but the most striking thing of all, what made him such a mismatched hero?... he was only 9 years old... at least, in cyber space.

Ponyfinder Online :

The little bipedal Dalek, gave a nervous squirm. As he worked alongside a little gray Kobold, who was covered in splotches of blue paint.

They had found a forge, in the Queen's treasury. Which was worth one, permanent, bonus to Armor... which the rest of the team felt S'mouth needed. The "Boy" (as he wasn't actually a child, but everyone treated him like one) chose to attach the additional defense to his scarf.

As the scarf was a constant, whenever he changed his outfit. It might seem like a generic 4th Doctor's scarf... but to him... it was a reminder of the rare pleasant days, in his childhood. Hours discussing Doctor Who, with his aunt.

When the boy thought of Doctor Who, he thought of pleasant memories with his family. In the rare good moments of his life... And this scarf represented that.

Smar might choose to change out of his outfit... He had quite a few different ones, but he always wore that scarf.

He was with his friends, deep in the heart of a changeling hive. At the moment they were... kinda in the middle of the Queen's treasury. As who could resist good old loot. Which they were busy dividing up.

Everyone got an equal share of coins. While the gear went to who needed it most.

They weren't greedy, as they had been friends for too long to fight over loot. Instead they all agreed, as a team, who needed what to help the party, as a whole. They had decided Smar needed better armor, as he had low health due to being an archer and spell caster.

Nearby, a fledgling Dragon, about Smolder's age, was thrilled to find a few new spell tomes.

She was a bright yellow, with blue fins, blue-ish green eyes, and an adorable little pair of wings.

Typo, the Dragon, was busy reading the spell books. They were basically instruction manuals for learning new spells, after all. The book she was currently reading was based on a new fire spell. So not much use to the Dalek, but great help for our resident fire lizard.

Typo was the primary mage, where Smar specialized in things like Restoration and Illusion. They tended to fight over the Mysticism and Alteration Tomes, but the party decided Typo should get first pick on those, as she was purely focused on increasing her magical skills... and the Dalek was more stealth based, with a flare for magic, being more of a support player.

Especially considering Smar focused on grinding his Illusion and Restoration skills. So those were actually higher then even their Dragon mage. Which is why He normally got those books.

But sadly the evil queen didn't have ANY healing spell tomes, and her Illusion spell books Smar already knew...

So, needless to say, Typo was very happy with her collection of spell books.

Not far from the Dragon, just at the other side of the room, was a Kotomon. He was wearing the typical clothes for his kind of Digimon, a Japanese fencing outfit. Although his was black, with yellow trim... and embroidered with his family crest. While The Digimon's face was hidden in shadow. With the only thing visible, being his glowing eyes, leaking energy.

He was wielding a Keyblade, modelled after the "Master Sword", from Zelda.

The Digimon casually put his weapon, back in subspace. Then picked up a new sword, twice the size of his small body.

"Honestly Raider, that thing looks like it belongs in Final Fantasy." Stated a reformed changeling.

While the team might be looking out for unreformed changelings, this bug like horse was on their side. He had on a Pinocchio like straw hat, and a white suit collar (though just the collar, no shirt attached), with blue bowtie. His own coloring were various shades of blues and greens.

The Ling stared distastefully at the comically sized sword. "Sure that thing isn't a glitch?"

"Don't care." Grinned the Rookie Digimon. "Mine!"

The Ling rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of a smile on his face. Rad was our resident Warrior. Don't let his casual clothes, and lack of weapons fool you. He was a real heavy hitter. More a bruiser then tank, but could still take a good bit of damage.

About the only real spell casting he knew was conjuration, but that was because he liked summoning Bound Armor and weapons, instead of wearing it all the time. He also liked summoning creatures to fight alongside him.

All of Rad's gear was heavily enchanted to give him a boost to his skills, and even a healing factor by way of an Amulet that restored his Magicka, Health, and Fatigue.

Whenever the clan found an Enchanted item, Tech and Smar would break it down. That way they could reverse engineer the enchantments. Because of this, their clan might not have the most powerful enchantments, but they did have A LOT of magical gear... and a lot of money from selling the extra enchanted items they made.

Tech maybe the primary craftsmen, but Smar did help him out with a lot of the gear. Although The Dalek could only do that stuff, through the game's crafting engine.

Smar didn't have a clue how to do Programming or Modding. That was all Tech. However none of their clan were willing to do straight up hacks, given how illegal those were.

Regardless, Smar often assisted Tech, in making crafted items. As entering an "Assist Mode" greatly increase the chances of success while crafting. So they can even make better items.

Tech was their Technomancer / Rogue. He handled all the electronics in the game... technically everything was electric, given we were in a videogame, but he handled all the stuff that was categorized as "computer", "Machine", or "Electronic". He had a lot of weapons that fell into that category, as well.

Nearby, sinfully eating a brownie (a clearly inferior snack to cookies), was Slash. He had a "Shark Man" Avatar. Based off the "Animalistic" Avatar Template. Which was basically a human with animal features... him being a shark.

In addition he had a "T-1000" Augments. Giving him all the powers of a Liquid Terminator. With the "Shark Man" as his actual race.

Off to the Side... was a rock... just a rock sitting on the floor. Smar had glanced at it, as his eyes looked over his teammates... his clan.

However, when he casually looked back... the rock... had moved. A spike of fear shot through the Dalek... Until he noticed the little Speed Racer helmet the rock was wearing.

Smar rolled his eyes, "Damnit Stead!" he glared, "I thought you were a changeling!!!" he could feel the rocks amusement, though it didn't speak.

Stead had a "Boulder" Avatar. Which could only move when no one was looking at it. But the trade off was an impenetrable defense... and an insane attack power. He specifically wore the helmet, so the Party wouldn't leave him behind. Whenever he wasn't observed, he could move at faster speeds, then a bee could flutter their wings. Which allowed Stead to attack with sheer ferocity.

All this came from racial perks he unlocked. However, he hadn't yet unlock the ability to speak telepathically. He could only project his emotions. Oh wait! Recently he had unlocked the ability to speak through mentally projected text boxes. So he could now communicate with in other ways.

Boulder Avatars were undoubtedly the hardest to play as. As, until you start increasing your unique "communication" racial perks... you were trapped in silence, and often frozen in place. Unable to move... until someone blinked.

"Everyone got all they can carry?" Rad called out to the party.

"I think I can get into that chest Smar couldn't open!" Typo eagerly declared, as she ran over to the chest.

"Don't!!!" Smar yelped, running over to her, as fast as he could. Trying desperately to intercept her.

"Don't worry," Typo grinned, "I got a fancy new spell for this."

It was too late... she cast the spell. Thankfully the Dalek managed to knock her out of the way, just in time for the chest to explode... killing him instantly.

So much for our hero... moving on.

Smar (Real Life Name: Ollivander Toma) will be back in later chapters (Avatar Death does not mean real world death, not since SAO).
