Its been roughly a bit more than a month since my return and I can say with certainty that I do regret being taught by Nezu… the mouse-bear is a devil in disguise of a fluffy animal.
Groaning as I lifted my head, looking at my teachers evil grin. "you're a devil. Just because I got caught up to the standards of everything else, doesn't mean you need to so cruelly expect me to learn Japanese easily! Do you know how many honorifics are used in Japanese?! Do you know how many I had to use in English? Four! And they were only for titles! Docters, two for woman, and an old-fashioned Mr. for men! Its so simple compared to this!" crying out in despair as my teachers grin only grew wider.
"Tsk-tsk-tsk, I thought you were supposed to be smarter than this Sirius? Especially since and I quote 'I was called a math prodigy at the tender age of seven, as I managed to go through the entire math curriculum up to high school before I was whisked off to another world.'" Laughing as he began to drink his tea, causing much of it too spill over my freshly cleaned floor…
"Yea MATH prodigy, we're talking about an entirely different language here! Its not simple to so suddenly have to switch my mind to remember two words for one thing!" shouting as my frustration grew, while I had been praised as a prodigy, I had long since abandoned the notion that such a thing made me good at everything I did, especially after my sword lessons with Delvin… the man knew nothing about holding back.
"How about a bet to get you motivated then? If you manage to learn enough Japanese to be fluent before the exam, I will fulfill one request for anything you desire. Enticing no?"
Taking a moment to think about the offer, I couldn't see any issue with it. There's no downside for me- "ah but that's not quite a fair bet no? if you fail to become fluent in that time frame, you will owe me any request." I thought it sounded to good. Still, I do need to become as fluent as I can before I get in… "fine. It's a deal. I hope you don't regret making this bet with me Nezu. Especially with your streak of playing your mind games on me, I will find something… fun to ask you when I win."
"If. if you win. Don't forget Sirius, you only have a year and you can only speak a few basic phrases… I hope you don't regret your agreement." Once more, sipping his tea as he laughed maniacally causing an even larger mess I'd have to mop up later.
"Anyways, on to another topic. Your introduction to society. Its been a while coming and you and I both know its necessary, I might have been able to get you into the systems but I am no pro at creating a trail. You only barely exist in the eyes of the government. So, before anyone finds your lack of information strange, I need to get your 'quirk' registered and we need to have a press conference to bring your 'story' to light. I'm thinking next week, we bring in some reporters to cover the story and the UA staff you've interacted with. Not All-Might though, he hasn't been announced for this years teaching staff yet and id rather leave that until the term starts."
Tapping on the table, I hum. Its not a bad idea to get ahead of the problem, especially one that could spell the end of my future career. "it's a good idea, anyone looking to find a problem with me in the future could use the lack of my information against me… and for quirk you can put… spirit summon… I can in exchange for 'energy' summon two spirits that allow me to cast magic. The spirits are completely sentient from me… should I reveal anything else? I feel if I add more it can be used against me." I ask worriedly.
"Hmmm… no that should be enough, most people don't bother adding every detail of their quirk once they discover it due to the fact most quirks alter and grow with their users, some gain strength over time, others reveal new abilities, and some just effect new things, though any quirk that exhibits a different ability than first announced has to be updated or you can get in trouble but I feel what you said should cover any discrepancies with the main quirk details." Nodding at me, he stands up and heads towards the elevator.
"I'll get set it for this Thursday now, and I'll have someone bring you a suit. I'll see you then, for now have a good evening." "Have a good evening as well Nezu, and I wont forget something that important, see you then!" waving him off as the doors closed, I sighed. The future looks annoying… maybe the press will be better in this world compared to the idiots in Ravia?
… a man can hope right?

Just like they say… dreams do not come true.
Currently, I was waiting behind the stage as Nezu was going through his speech, "Good Afternoon everyone! It's a pleasure to be here today in front of you all. I have some incredible news to share with you all today!"
I watched as he walked up the main steps and stood atop the podium, "roughly a month ago, an extraordinary event took place upon my schools grounds. Something the I frankly didn't believe possible if not for the sheer diversity of quirks that have existed. Now half a year ago, my campus was engulfed in a great beam of light, and I watched as a something had fallen out of, what I had assumed at the time was an attack on my campus. After gathering all of my teaching staff, that you all know and love. We set out to discover who had dared threaten the school." Coughing into his fist, he waved the teachers onto the stage, turning I could see Midnight, Recovery Girl, Present Mic, Snipe, Thirteen, Ectoplasm, Power Loader, Cementoss, Lunch Rush, Vlad King and Hound Dog all entered from the other side.
"As my staff and I ran out to apprehend the threat, we discovered a young man buried deeply into the crater the light had formed. He was gravely injured, and looked incredibly weak. After sending him with Recovery Girl and Midnight, we searched the entire grounds and found nothing else, not even anything alerting us that our defenses had been breached. The young man had appeared in the midst of the light."
Pausing as he let the information settle in, but began to speak quickly enough as to not let the reporters talk, "the young man we found was not in any database we could find, sadly requiring us to give up trying to find anything about him until he had awoken. It was the next day by the time he had, and to say it was a shock to us was an understatement, Ladies and Gentleman the young man we combed through the databases to find was not in them for a reason."
He paused once more, this time just because he takes pleasure in the drama he causes, "Three hundred and thirteen years ago, a seven-year-old child went missing. Presumed to have been kidnapped, shortly after his disappearance the era of quirks was ushered in by the arrival of the luminescent baby, along with many other people, some older and some younger gained quirks. we believe one of those of the first generation of quirked people, was one of the kidnappers, we are also certain that the young boy that was kidnapped was one of the first generation as well.
The quirk that the kidnapper possessed, we believe, was some type of time manipulation… we also know that roughly a year after gaining his quirk it went out of control and accidentally hit the young man the boy had grown up to be. Ladies and Gentleman what I'm about to tell you is incredibly shocking, that young boy, Sirius Collins, was transported to our campus… and here he is today, though he has changed his name, may I present to you all, Sirius Rofan!"
That's my cue. After a quick moment calming my nerves, I felt my blessing from Harmonia, determination, I was ready.
Walking up, I could finally see the veritable ocean of people. I took another moment, and walked to the middle seat on the bench. Listening to the cries of shock and the snapping sounds from all the cameras.
"Mr. Rofan! Mr. Rofan! I'm here from HNN, are you truly from the past? What was it like, getting to live in the very beginning of the quirked era must have been fascinating!" the reporter asked.
Sighing as I grew a frustrated look, I really hate when Nezu throws me in the deep end for things like this… "first of all let me introduce myself, I am Sirius Rofan formerly known as Sirius Collins. Yes I am indeed from over three hundred years ago, and I have absolutely no clue as to what it was like to live in the beginning of the quirked era. As Principal Nezu previously stated, I was captured and held prisoner for over ten years… and no I'm not going to discuss the things that my captors did to me during that time but I will say they were not pleasant, any further questions about that will be ignored because frankly, its still very fresh in my mind."
Taking a deep breath, I looked over to another reporter and waved at him, "Mr. Rofan, GCN here, earlier it was stated you arrived roughly a month ago, may I ask why it took so long for UA to announce your presence?" I nodded relieved that it was one of the questions I was actively prepared to answer.
"Yes as stated earlier, I did arrive in February. The reason it took so long was due to several facts, firstly I didn't speak Japanese and I had asked the teaching staff of UA to wait until I could properly address you all. The other reason was due to the fact my recovery took longer than expected, due to the nature of my arrival no one could be sure as to what caused my body to deteriorate like it had, we only currently believe that it was due to the extreme stress on my body that the time travel caused, and probably the only reason I was the only thing to arrive to the future was thanks to my own 'quirk', calling my power that still feels strange to me but I'm starting to like how it sounds." Giving the crowd a slight smile, I wanted to create the impression that I was impressed and like how the future looks.
"My quirk is rather unique I'm told, even now when there are millions upon millions of quirks, while I haven't found a name I quite like for it yet, it allows me to summon multiple spirits, and use their energy to create elemental attacks, as of right now a Light spirit named Theia, and a Dark spirit named Avon. Theia is a rather whimsical bubbly character and Avon tends to act more noble and serious. If I may?" I finish, looking over at Nezu to get approval.
A nod was all I needed, summoning my two partners was as natural as breathing at this point. Two lights emerged from my chest, taking a different form than normal. The two spirits deigned to use their more, fairy like appearance for this occasion. Something they liked to do for more formal events. I watched as the cameras started to shutter; hundreds of photos being taken causing the light being given off to be lost as the blinking from each reporter blinded the stage.
Theia was about the size of my forearm; she had pointed fairy-like wings that had a golden glow. Her hair was silver similar to my own and she wore a long white gown. Avon was slightly bigger at the size of my entire arm; he had his raven wings on his back, giving him the appearance of a fallen angel, he wore a sharp suit and had a silver monocle. Together they really sold the show.
After that display, most of the questions began to focus on what they were and could do. Thankfully my partners knew better than to reveal anything special, and deigned to just display their intelligence.
After another half an hour, the interview was over and I was home-free.

Two months had passed and it was now already the middle of April, ever since the conference my prayers to be remain undisturbed were thankfully answered. Although, I was contacted by several quirkologists I only sent a quick summary of my quirk to them, nothing more than what I had told at the conference and anything I let Theia and Avon mention during it.
I finally had a free day as Nezu didn't bother to give me a moment of recovery after the conference before he went into his devilish tutor mode. But now I had finally caught up to what he deemed 'acceptable' enough to pass the exams, but I now had nothing to do… and I was incredibly bored.
Giving a lazy glance, I saw Theia and Avon both still investigating the stuff around the apartment. Theia had over a dozen bags of chips open as she sampled them all, while Avon had gone the literature route and had an entire stack of books of famous plays, stories and events next to him.
Sitting up, an idea had finally crossed my mind. "Hey guys, I'm heading out alright. I shouldn't be long." Calling out as I grabbed my sweater, I set off out to explore the city. Something I hadn't done as I wanted to wait till my new-found fame died down some. But I'm sick of waiting so I'm going to tempt fate and pray its on my side for once! This is probably going to end horribly but I cant stay cooped up any longer!
After leaving the grounds, I had honestly assumed I would be swarmed but… "I'm free! Haha! I honestly cant believe there aren't any people around here. Maybe my arrival wasn't as incredible as I thought? That's more than fine to me." nodding to myself, I set out to go explore the city once more. Maybe I'll head to the beach? I see one not to far on my map. I'll go there first.
It was a nice stroll through the city, I got to see a small-time villain getting bodied by a Pro-Hero called Fatgum, the dude was obliterated. I think I found my favourite pro hero.
"Your destination is just to the left." Thank you very much computer lady. Man, technology is so cool and helpful in the future… "what kind of dump is this! There's garbage everywhere! I hate technology, this was supposed to be a beach not a literal garbage dump!" crying out, all the eye could see was a large expanse of trash. Most of it looks to have washed up from the ocean but… come on. This honestly had to have started to pile up back when I first lived on earth…
"Man… I was really looking forward to seeing the ocean…whoa! What the heck just blasted that part of the beach away?" my sulking was interrupted by a large bang as what had to be an entire SUV of garbage was blasted upwards creating a small valley in the trash.
Creeping over, I sent a message to my spirits letting them know I might have to summon them and to be ready in case.
Slowly, I came closer to the large explosion and I could hear a loud and slightly familiar voice, "-and that's where this comes in! I came up with this 'Aim to Pass: American Dream Plan'!" is that- is that All-Might?
Oh! I should go say hello, its been a while and we haven't met up to discuss his lesson plans quite yet. This is the perfect time to set one up!
Carefully making the trek down the large and dangerous garbage mound, I could see two figures. One the strong and reliant figure of All-Might, the other… a scrawny green haired teen.
"Yo! All-Might good to see you again!" giving a quick shout, I laugh as both All-Might and the teen jump and look at me wide-eyed. I watched as All-Might gave a relieved sigh, wiping some sweat that formed awfully quickly from his brow.
"Hoo, Hello Young Rofan, it's great to see you again as well. Ah, meet Izuku Midoriya. He's ah… he's aiming for UA as well; I've been helping him prepare. It's a hero's job to help others after all! Ha-Ha!" I watched as both of the two gave off incredibly nervous vibes, trying to lighten the mood I got on to my new reason of going to the beach.
"Nice to meet you Midoriya, I'm Sirius Rofan, if you need anymore help don't be afraid to ask. After getting tutored by Nezu I'm pretty sure any test I take will be a breeze." Smiling as I introduce myself, I cant help but see that he looked at me incredibly wide-eyed still.
"Umm, you okay there bud…? Anyhow, All-Might. I was going to talk to Nezu, but since I stumbled upon to you, I figured id ask myself. When should we go over the lesson plan? I know I've been busy lately but I'm open pretty much whenever at this point so don't be afraid to stop by. Here, I recently managed to figure out how to do a bunch of stuff with this new phone. I'll give you my number so whenever you wanna stop by just send me a message alright?" giving a concerned Midoriya another glance as I pulled out my phone and handed it over to a sighing All-Might.
"areyouthesiriusrofanthatgotsenttothefuture?!yourquirkhowdoesitwork?!dothespiritsstaywithyouallthetimeorcantheygoontheirownanddoinvestigationsforyou?whattypeofthingscantheydo?youmentionedmagicduringtheconferencethattheyletyouuseelements,whatkindandhowstrongcanthey-"
I physically flinched at being bombarded by the sheer amount of questions, as my head shot over to All-Might and gave him a wtf look, only to get a chuckle and a shrug in response.
"Uh… ah sorry about that. I find quirks to be very interesting and sometimes I get carried away when I try and analyze about them, it tends to… lead to me rambling. Sorry if I said to much." Meekly, he spoke as he ducked and rubbed the back of his head.
A small smile grew on my face, the guys just really passionate but equally as shy. "Its fine Midoriya, I actually find It kind of admirable to be so passionate about something." Giving the dude a bone, I was hoping he might come out of his shell a little.
"Th-thanks Sirius, if you don't mind, can I ask you about your quirk?" "Forgetting something young Midoriya?" All-Might booms, a large smile on his face. "OH shoot, maybe some other time then Sirius, here I'll give you my number and we can talk about your quirk sometime." He finished rubbing the back of his head again.
Smiling I get his number, "alright I'll leave you both to your training. I'll see you at UA Midoriya, and All-Might, my place this weekend all right? I want some pointers and I haven't even seen your lesson plan yet." Waving at them both, I began to walk backwards as I remind All-Might about our deal. Hopefully he would remember and we could get started on it.
"Sounds great! I'll see you on Saturday evening! Until the young Rofan!" receiving a large wave from the man, I watched as Midoriya gave a rather nervous wave and left them to their training. I don't want to stumble onto any secrets the two have, it would be rude. Plus, I'm going to ask him when he comes over later this week anyways.

"So, you're telling me, the first lesson you have with these teens is going to be teaming them up and getting them to fight one another…?" rubbing the stress from my eyes, I start to wonder how this man managed to become the number one hero.
"Of course! How else am I going to show them what its like to fight an indoors battle against a villain!" grinning, as he answered.
"Shouldn't you get an idea of their abilities first? Find out who's to destructive and maybe give a small lesson about the dangers of battling indoors can be? Like don't cause too much destruction otherwise the roof might fall on your head, or the floor beneath your feet? Or maybe teach them how to fight first? I know I was taught how to fight, but I cant say the same for anyone else!" this man…
"Nope! Ha Ha! Don't worry young Rofan, I'm certain that any of my students will be fine. They wouldn't have made it to UA without being ready to get rough and learn by being thrown to the sharks!"
He's going to give me an aneurism… "fine enough teaching talk, give me some fighting pointers."

That's the end of chapter 3! Man am I blitzing through these early chapters.
So far Sirius has met several important characters, I was tempted to have him discover All-Might's secret but decided against it. I want to have some big reveal but until then he wont find out.
As most of you have noticed, UA is not a hero high school. That has never made sense to me, the equivalent of child soldiers being taught to protect the country… what is this Naruto? Nope its now a university, characters might be different and more mature, some not so much. The only main difference in this story is that the students will be aged up. Everyone else will be the same age, so don't worry. There aren't any world destroying differences, just an age-up.
Don't forget to bookmark if you want to hear more, and leave a review guessing how you think a former A-Rank adventurer will stack up in the coming exam.
Until next time, adios!
