It took another hour to get to the Newport Greyhound station and then another hour for vanilla and Eliza to arrive. From there they split with Grover.
They went to an old building called the Arrows Inn that, according to the woman working at the desk, had been built shortly after the revolutionary war(1). Lincoln quickly noticed that everyone working there was a woman.
The Louds had gotten 5 rooms and had split up 3 into a room except for Lincoln and Percy who shared one (2). Lincoln was surprised at the size of his and Percy's room; it was somehow smaller than their room at home. They of course didn't complain but we're surprised.
The family spent the rest of the day sightseeing; they got back to the Inn at 10 pm after Lisa had fallen asleep.
When Lincoln and Percy were alone in their room lincoln shared what he had figured out.
" was an ancient Greek monster. I think she was a Furie," Lincoln explained a crash of thunder punctuating his sentence.
"How'd you Figure it out," Percy asked.
"When the bus broke down the 3 ladies at the fruit stand I think… I think they were the fates," Lincoln explained.
"That's a leap,"
" Maybe but it fits hell she attacked us in the Greek/Roman section of the museum and our Latin teacher gave you a sword," Lincoln pointed out.
After that, they started to lay down for bed only to hear a knock at the Door.
They opened the door for their parents once they entered the room there was not enough room for them to stand, forcing Percy and Lincoln to sit on one of the beds and the parents to sit on the bed across from them.
"Ok so we know about the museum trip and well this is complicated," Rita explained, obviously nervous.
"We didn't do anything," the boys said in unison.
"You killed a monster that's nothing amazing," Lynn spoke aloud with awe in his voice.
"Wait, you know about the monster," Percy asked in shock.
"Yes well you see I'm a demigod and well so are both of you," Rita explained.
"You see we were unable to have children so your mother made a deal with Artemis she gave us the ability to have children but one day your mother would have to bear Artemis's first and only demigod child… that's you Lincoln," Lynn added.
"As for you Percy we know you're a demigod but we don't know who you're a divine parent is we do know it not Apollo because Apollo is my parent and I would have been able to sense it by now, so any questions," Rita finished
"I got none," Lincoln answers.
"Ya if your dad is Apollo then were you adopted by pop pop or something," Percy added.
"Oh no poppop is still my dad Apollo's my mother," Rita explained.
This shocked Percy.
"So the last thing this summer you will be going to a camp for demigods I went there when I was your age it's supposed to teach you to fight the Myths that will help you survive and much more, it is also the best way to find out who your father was," Rita explained.
"So when will this start," Lincoln asked.
"Tomorrow after lunch I'll take you whale Lynn takes the girls sightseeing," Rita answers.
They talked about a few other things but nothing important

"What do we do," Lincoln asked.
"You're necklace, take it off and point it at that bastard," Rita called.
Lincoln did as told and it started to glow silver first, it took the form of a bow than a crossbow and finally a revolver, Lincoln didn't know how but he knew this was a Smith & Wesson Model 14.
He leaned out the window and fired a shot that flew through the air into the beast's arm causing him to drop the tree he used as a club. Lincoln knew that it wasn't a bullet, it was an arrowhead made out of pure light.
The bull-headed monster didn't slow down speeding up now unarmed trying to grab the car but was stopped when Lincoln shot his other shoulder knocking him off balance but the minotaur still rushed forward using his horns to tear the canopy of the sedan.
Percy saw something glinting in a duffle bag their mother had given them for camp and took out a bronze sword he used to stab the minotaur's chest.
"I got an idea mom when I say so hit the brakes, Percy brace yourself," Lincoln called out firing another shot this one hitting its eye not slowing down.
Lincoln emptied his last 3 shots into the bullhead missing 1 and the other 2 hitting his other eye. Calling out his mother hit the brakes sending him flying forward but Percy who was braced stayed put and stabbed the beast in his chest causing it to burst into sand the head dropping onto the car about the size of Percy's torso.
Lincoln hit the asphalt landing on his left side. He tried to stand back up only to see his femur poking out of his skin. The sight brought Lincoln a sinking feeling in his stomach as he passed out.

1: So I had this idea that Artemis would have a bunch of safe houses all across the country for not only her wounded hunters to heal but also just for any demigod that needed a safe place to sleep they are the arrows Inn and this one was the first built and there will be one in every state and are all also temples to Artemis
2: The rooms are Lori Leni Luna in the first Luan Lynn Jr. And just in the second the twins and Lisa in the 3rd then Rita L you. sr and lily in the 4th and lincoln and Percy in the last one)
