Lincoln and Cogs easily snuck threw the farm using the scope like inferred to avoid the donkeys and quickly made their way to the barn holding the piglets. The entrance was guarded by 2 giant Dobermans each the size of a horse sitting next to the entrance of the door.
"smell that intruder," Lincoln heard a deep voice in the back of his head.
"doesn't matter we guard this barn we stay till master says otherwise," another older-sounding voice echoed.
"but intruders," The younger voice asked with disappointment.
"The Onocentaur will deal with them our job is to guard the piglets," The older voice responded.
Lincoln finally figured out it was the hellhounds he was hearing. And a plan formed.
"Cogd you got any of these sticks from the willow tree," Lincoln asked.
"Cogs has some yes," The kobold said taking a branch from his coat.
"ok so when they run get in and hide in the barn ok," Lincoln said taking the branch.
Lincoln walked out in front of the Doberman holding the branch, the hell hounds quickly got to into an aggressive position.
"Good boys good im Lincoln im the new trainer," Lincoln said staying calm and protecting his voice remembering Lana train some of her pets
"it's all bout showing strength," She would say.
The dogs just growled at him.
"no growling down," Lincoln ordered smack in the Older one on the nose with the stick. The younger one flinched.
Sit Lincoln ordered causing the younger to act but the older one stayed still.
" Good boy," Lincoln said taking out some of the rations he had taken from the inn and gave it to the younger hound.
Lincoln took out another two pieces of meat and placed them on the ground they both went for the rations only for Lincoln to stop them.
"no stay," Lincoln ordered and both stayed still. And waited longer and longer" ok go," Lincoln said as the 2 went at the meat.
"good boys now … Go fetch," Lincoln said, throwing the stick both hounds ran after the stick.
Cogs quickly ran into the barn as the dog's ran Lincoln quickly followed the kobold. The two hounds quickly began to fight over the stick Lincoln used this chance to sneak into the barn where he saw the piglets.
They were each the size of a husky cuddled into a small corner of the barn with chains around their neck holding them in place.
"Cogs can you get them free," Lincoln asked.
In a blink the kobold was using his screwdriver to disconnect the boars. Said boars started to squeal in fear.
"Help help moma moma,"
"shush shush don't worry we're going to get you out of here then we're going to get you're mother out of here," Lincoln said staying calm the bars following his lead.
"ok so you see this little guy here his name is Cogs he's my friend he's going to lead you somewhere safe ok," Lincoln explains just as cogs got the first collar off the largest boar.
It quickly got into a defensive stance.
"Good your the oldest right you want to protect your little siblings I get that if you trust us you can get out of here," Lincoln smiled at the oldest, and it almost seemed like it did the same.
Lincoln used the scope to see the dogs still fighting over the stick. Showing out Lincoln whistled getting the needed attention the hounds quickly returns the younger dog happily trauting up to him.
"good boys good now let's give a big one ok," Lincoln said taking the stick.
Lincoln wound up for a throw and threw it as far as he could over the barn the dogs quickly ran after it giving the hogs the chance to make a run for it Cogs riding the eldest, Lincoln let out a small prayer hoping his mother would help the boars and cogs get safely to the inn. he turned around just in time to see the two giant hounds return form their chase. Hundreds of ideas ran through Lincoln's head; the one that made the most sense was to run.
Lincoln quickly pulled out Asteria and aimed for the older hound hitting it and causing it to flip into the younger one he quickly turns and fired again and again causing the smaller one to take a protective stance in front of the elder.
"Look I don't want to kill you so why don't you just run away," Lincoln said holding the gun even with them.
The younger one jumped at Lincoln and Lincoln reacted just in time to pull the trigger killing it the older one tried to get up with a look of rage in its eyes.
"I'm sorry," Lincoln said, vaporizing the older dog.
Lincoln Took out the scope and saw the Boar and Hippomenes under the main house. Lincoln headed towards the house returning Asteria to it's necklace form.
