Sakura glared at the two girls in the room with her.

Chie Uchiha sat directly across from her at the table, a stack of official looking papers in front of her and a bundle of Ryo placed on top of it. Keiko Uchiha stood off in the corner across from her, seemed more concerned with touching up her makeup than she was with talking to her.

Chie picked up her cup of tea from the table, lightly blew on it.

She took a sip.

Sakura watched her, a pink eyebrow raised.

"Look Hanano, it's all really simple." Chie set her drink down, waved her hand over the papers on the table. "All you have to do is sign this thing saying the loser attacked Nana and Taiko unprovoked and you get all this money." She went so far as to pat the stack of bills. "An easy payday. Probably more money than you'd ever seen before." She jerked her thumb over her shoulder, pointed to where Keiko was standing. "Or say no and I'll let Keiko-chan have her fun with you for the next few hours. And then I'll just forge your signature anyway."

Sakura looked between the papers and Chie.

She shook her head, a smile on her face.

"Are you really this stupid?" Chie looked at her in something approaching shock, leaned back in her seat as if the revelation was a physical blow. "Wow. I never knew anybody could be this stupid." She gave an over the top sigh, shrugged her shoulders, as she dropped her head onto the back of her chair, her red and black eyes meeting the red and black eyes of Keiko. "Well, I guess I don't have a choice anymore." Her smile was telling as she brought her head back down to face Sakura. "I guess Keiko gets to have her turn with you."

The dark-haired girl said nothing as she stepped forward, her long hair gathered into a tight bun with a pair of crossed black sticks tipped with the red and white symbol of the Uchiha Clan through it. She put away the pocket mirror she had been using, smiled with freshly painted red lips.

"Well, I've got a break I'm taking." Chie rose from her seat with a smile, tucked the papers and money into her Flak Jacket. "See you in a couple hours Hakuna."

Sakura watched her go, her eyes following her as she left the room, as the door sealed shut behind her.

Across from her, Keiko simply smiled. She was all too happy to wait now, to savor what was about to happen.

Once Sakura was, relatively, sure that the other girl was gone, she turned shining emerald eyes to Keiko, fearlessly looked into her red and black eyes.

"You don't want to do this!" Her voice had an almost singsong quality to it, a smile on her face. "Trust me."

Keiko rolled her eyes.

"Don't tell me: You're immune to Genjutsu?" She wanted to laugh. "Like I haven't heard that before." She locked eyes with the girl, the Sharingan making Genjutsu absurdly easy to cast. She had been good without the Dojutsu but now? She was on simply a whole other level.

She would start off slow, give the girl a chance to end this quickly after maybe an hour.

"Oh not at all." Sakura just giggled as she spoke. "I just totally wasn't ready for it last time! Your friends surprised me!" Thanks to her focus on casting her illusion, Keiko didn't see that Sakura had finally slipped her hands out of her white gloves, left them on the able while her cloak did wonders to keep her arms hidden. "Now I am!"

"And I'm sure an idiot like you can counter the Sharingan." Keiko set to work.

"Nope!" Sakura struck first as she exploded out of her seat, an ornate gold and white lance appearing in her outstretched hand and striking true, a smile on her face as she slammed it into the forehead of the girl in front of her and sent her toppling to the ground.

Black eyes could only stare up at the ceiling, found that her Chakra, and her body, had been rendered completely unresponsive.

'What's going on? What happened? Why can't I move? What happened to my Sharingan? Where's my Chakra? What did she do to me?'

Sakura giggled as she dismissed her lance, snatched up her gloves from the table and took a moment to slip them back on in triumph. She took a number of victorious skips around the table and dropped into a crouch next to the currently paralyzed Uchiha.

"Don't bother trying to get up!" She wagged her finger in front of the girl's frozen face. "My Trap of Argalia makes everybody fall down and stay there! I can't make your leg disappear like the cutie who gave me this could but I can get rid of your Chakra's balance as many times as I want." Sakura poked the side of Keiko's face with her finger, turned her head to the side. She smiled as she took the two sticks out of her hair, collapsed her bun into a mess on the floor. She tossed the sticks onto the table. She kind of just wanted to mess up the mean girl's hair. "So, it looks like we have some time together." Her smile widened, another giggle spilling out from her lips. "How do you feel about meeting Checkers while we've got the chance? I just know she'll love meeting you!"

She could see the question in Reiko's eyes. Well, behind the rage at her situation.

Checkers made an appearance with a snap of her fingers. Great wings were thrown out to fill up the room, claws gouging into the floor, beak snapping in the face of the girl still immobile on the floor. She was, from the look in her eyes, probably screaming her head off on the inside. Sakura poked her with her lance again, a fresh bout of spiritual paralysis sweeping through the girl.

Sakura smiled as she petted a preening Checkers, her baby clearly just wanting some attention.

"Who's a good Hippogriff?" She quickly began using both hands, Checkers careful as her massive wings came back in against her side and her beak bumping into Sakura. "You're my precious little Checkie. Yes you are!" Sakura smiled as she wrapped her arms around her neck, earned a pleased cooing from her favorite mount. "You're wonderful. Yes you are. Yes you are." She kissed her beak with a smile. "Now, let's go get Sasuke!"

She swung herself onto Checker's back and took up the reins that simply appeared on her mount.

"Onward my noble steed!" Sakura snapped the reins and Checkers charged forward, galloped towards the wall.

Rider and her mount vanished a moment before impact.

About five seconds later, in another room…

"Sasuke!"

At the shout of his name, from such a familiar voice, he looked up in nothing short of disbelief.

Sakura was smiling from where she had simply appeared in front of him.

"S-Sakura?" He didn't know if he was seeing this, if this was some cruel trick by one of the officers. "What are you doing here?"

"That's easy silly!" Sakura's smile widened as she hopped down from her mount, threw her arms around the seated Sasuke. "You needed a hug!" She also snapped his handcuffs off, promptly picked the Uchiha up with her arms wrapped around him. "Now come on! We're getting out of here!"

"What?" Despite knowing better, despite knowing how wild his pink-haired teammate could be, he still had to ask the question.

"We're leaving! Well, I'm leaving and I'm taking you with me!" Sakura smiled as she sat him down on the kneeling Checkers. "If it helps, you're my hostage when I broke out of jail! It was all part of my master plan to…do something!" She hopped on behind him, reached around him to grab hold of the reins. "Now let's go!" She snapped them and Checkers promptly reared up on her back legs, claws slicing through the air as her beak opened and she let out a battle cry. Her wings extended and she threw herself forward, should've slammed into the wall instead of simply vanishing the moment before impact.

Where she, her rider, and her passenger/"hostage" went, no one but the rider would know.

AN: Well, judging from how this story is going so far, looks like I still can't write crack. Should probably work on that one day. Or just go with the flow of things.
