AN: Another chapter.
Suiko still found it unbelievable that the pink haired Kunoichi was actually exchanging blows with him, had decided against fighting him with anything but pure hand to hand. And, what made it all even more unbelievable, the girl was stronger than him. Seemed to be stronger than he could ever dream to be. She was more than matching him blow for blow, was winning their clash before he lunged at her with a shout, tried to overpower her with a surprise attack. She was more than eager to get locked into a contest of strength between the two of them.
She only smiled at his struggle in their latest clash of strength, the girl more than holding her own.
'Why isn't the Infinite Armor draining her Chakra?' He could feel nothing coming from the girl, was reliant on his own Chakra and strength to keep up with her. And his stamina wasn't nearly enough to keep up with his deceptively strong opponent. 'Does she have no Chakra?'
Sakura laughed at the clear confusion on his face before she rather effortlessly broke their hands apart, grabbed him by one wrist with both hands, and turned on her heel. She flung the towering man over her shoulder and into a tree. For the fourth time since their battle began.
"You're not as good of a tree trimmer as I thought." She pouted at the revelation, couldn't help but be disappointed as she crossed her arms over her armor. "Do you think you'd be a better plow?"
"What…What is wrong with you?" Suiko shoved yet another tree off of him, groaned as he did so. Armor or not, the girl's overwhelming strength was more than enough to wear him down. Coupled with the fact that he couldn't take her Chakra to empower himself and this fight was decidedly against him. "How are you this strong? Why can't I drain your Chakra? What is going on today?"
"This is what happens when you mess with Sakura Haruno! The Hidden Leaf Most Adorable and Only Righteous Paladin of Cuteness!" The girl threw her head back and laughed like a madwoman. "Come one, come all, I'll take you all down and take those weapons for myself!"
"I won't allow you to steal the works of the great Seimei!" Suiko charged her, a direct attack against the pink-haired Genin.
"Pfft. That's rich coming from a thief." Sakura planted her hands on her hips, simply stepped out of the way of Suiko's lunge at her. Her smile only grew when he tried, and failed, to turn in time to grab her. She was faster than him by a wide margin, easily weaved out of the way of every attempt of the towering man to grab her.
"I'm no thief! I'm a proud Shinobi of Takumi Village!" Suiko's words earned a roll of his opponent's eyes.
Her boot lashed out, Suiko doubling over when she kicked him below the belt.
"Lying gets you kicked in the balls." Sakura's smile was wide and malicious. She grabbed him by the top of his head with that same smile, a fistful of his hair trapped in her gloved hand. "Now, let's see if I'm right and you make a good plow."
"W-What?" Suiko could barely manage to ask the answer with a grimace.
Sakura slammed his head into the ground as her answer, planted her foot on his back to keep him down.
"Like I said: I'm going to see if you make a good plow." She bent down and grabbed the back of his head. "Now be a good plow and stay quiet."
She didn't get to test his quality as a plow, Suiko succeeding in throwing her off of him. Or Sakura decided to jump high into the air, her body corkscrewing through the air before she landed with her arms out wide at her side.
"TA-DAH!" She giggled. "Perfect 10, right?"
"…You're insane." Suiko struggled back to his feet and reached for the flail on his back. It had already proven useless in catching his opponent but it was the only other weapon he had. Even if she could avoid it, he could at least keep her away from him while he thought up a new plan.
"OHH! We're going back to weapons?" Sakura excitedly jumped up and down, clapping her gloved hands together. "I have the perfect one to take you down and take that armor from you too!" Despite carrying a sword at her side, she didn't draw it.
The sword simply appeared in her grasp.
She stretched her arm out, pointed the blade now held in her hand straight at the confused Suiko.
Her green eyes flashed with something that was definitely not Chakra.
"I swear this on my honor as the Hidden Leaf Most Adorable and Only Righteous Paladin of Cuteness, you will not leave here with that armor Suiko of the Four Celestial Symbols Men." She slashed the sword through the air, actually cut through the tree at her side with the gleaming blade. "You won't even leave here alive."
"Y-You're crazy! You may have some way around my Armor's ability to drain Chakra but you won't beat me!" Suiko didn't let fear freeze him even if it flooded his words, swung the flail around him before snapping it forward. The chain attached to the head allowed it to fly forward, aimed straight at the pink-haired Kunoichi's head.
She dashed off to the side to avoid it, dared to giggle even as she darted forward as the flail of his head soared through the space she had once been and slammed into a tree. The trunk of the tree shattered under the impact, half of it toppling to the ground.
His strength was far from insignificant but it simply didn't measure up to her.
"You should be more careful with that Suiko. Don't want to lose it." Sakura's sword lashed out but she didn't strike through the chain attached to the flail. She knocked it with the flat of her blade, set the chain shaking. Suiko worked quick to drag his weapon free of the tree it had struck, tried to strike her in the back at least.
It failed just like the last attack.
She leaped over the attack without even looking behind her.
She had the nerve to taunt him even now, dragged down her eyelid with her free hand while sticking out her tongue.
"You can't hit me!" She laughed even as he tried to whip the flail up and catch her where she couldn't possibly counter him again.
Her own sword wrapped around the head of the flail.
He stared in disbelief.
'What?' He didn't have much longer to think about it.
As disbelieving as it was, she heaved him into the air with a shout.
'What!' He didn't know what to do, how to react as he was suddenly sailing upwards from the girl's freakish strength. 'How is she doing this?'
Sakura only grinned as she spotted the clear confusion on his face, how none of this battle made sense to him. He was limited by sanity after all.
"Don't you get it? I'm Sakura Haruno!" With a cry, Checkers appeared in the middle of the air, offered her back as a launching point for Sakura to push off of and throw herself down towards the rising Suiko. With her net currently occupied, Sakura drew the sword from her side with a smile. "Bye-bye!"
No matter Suiko's attempt to drag the pole of his weapon in front of him, to try and empower Seimei's master-crafted armor with his Chakra, Sakura's sword cut through it regardless.
It cut through Suiko too.
Sakura landed before the body, snapped her wrist to free her lengthened weapon from the flail. She sheathed one blade with a smile and the other she dismissed. She didn't bother turning when the body of her opponent slammed into the ground behind her.
"S-Seimei…I've failed you…" With his last thoughts on the attempt to restore the glory of Takumi Village, he succumbed to his injuries.
Sakura could only shake her head at the failed dreams of a madman.
"You should've left the past in the past. And you should've known better than to try and mess with Naruto. He's mine just as much as Sasuke is."
AN: And this concludes Sakura's portion of the fight. It was one-sided.
Review/PM if you want.
Peace.
