A/N: Hey guys. So here's the thing. Due to you all not telling me anything and the fact that for two months I couldn't think of a story, Vegetables will not be getting a fixed plot. My apologies for such but sometimes some things just aren't to be.
It was a sunny day, the first day of May. Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy and Jinx were playing a game of chicken fight in the water, with Robin on Starfire's shoulders and Beast Boy's on Jinx's as they tried to push one another off, laughing all the while. When Robin eventually won, the girls wanted a turn up top. For the other two, they were hanging out with Boom Box providing some chill beats as Raven read in the comfort of umbrella shade reading a book while Cyborg watched his friends while cooking steaks. Raven noticed when he sighed in sorrow and refocused on the food, trying to push down his sadness.
"Something wrong?" The half-demon asked.
"Oh, I'm just thinking how I miss water related stuff. Showering, hot tubs, the feel of the rain during football practice and games, all that stuff. A cyborg body is great for a lot of things, but water isn't one of them."
"Oh, you just miss being entirely human. Hasn't that been resolved like several times now? That you've come to accept being a cyborg and it no longer bothers you?" He could tell the question was out of simple curiosity than asking why he was going through the motion again.
"Well, that's true for the most part. But if there's one thing I yearn for more than the warm embrace of bubbly water, is to feel Jinx." He stared at his girlfriend, whom was pushed over by Starfire off of Robin's shoulders, but still laughed as she swished her pink hair around. "To actually feel her in my arms, to take her out on a date without breaking something by accident, and feel what it's like to be in a normal relationship, like human normal.
"You know, I could make you human again."
"Excuse me?" He asked, unsure if he heard right.
"Make you human again. I'm like magic and what not." She shrugged. Cybrog tried to sling an arm around her shoulders without overwhelming her due to its metal composition.
"How come you never said anything before?"
"Body transfiguration for something like you is a procedure that requires a lot of preparation. A natural body is one thing, but a body made of metal makes things tricky. I would need to work for four days to make you human again, and we just haven't had that kind of free time before the first defeat of my father. And I'd imagine it wouldn't last long anyway. It would last 24 hours at best."
"If I can have a normal date with Jinx, I'll make the most of what I have."
"Okay." Closing her book, Raven teleported away.
4 days later
"Um, is this going to hurt?" Cyborg asked Raven as he lay in a circle in her room with the sorceress standing above him.
"Don't worry, I won't feel a thing." After a single chuckle she did say after that, "But seriously this will be extremely painful. Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Blasting him with energy, the ring filled with white light as Victor screamed from within.
"Ah! The agonizing agony!" Raven wanted to stop, but this was what he asked for, so he'll have to deal with the few seconds of agony to get a day of normalcy. Once the procedure was done, the light disappeared as the ring was filled with smoke. Cyborg groaned as he struggled to stand up. Looking up, he saw a concerned Raven, whom also blushed with embarrassment as she used telekinesis to wrap his waist over with one of her cloaks.
"Ra-Raven? You...you don't look red." The girl smiled.
"Two normal eyeballs. Congratulations Cyborg, you're completely human again." She went over and helped him up, and walked him over to the vanity she had. Looking at himself, the male gasped. It was him. Like really him, before the accident.
"You-you did it! I'm human again!" He then hugged her. "Thank you so much!"
"You're welcome big guy." She chuckled with a pat on his back. "Now let's get you some clothes."
It was later on in the day, and the other four were playing a video game together, and the girls were handily beating the guys, mostly due to Jinx as she chuckled mischievously.
"Jinx! Yo cheaten'!" Beast Boy complained.
"Winning is winning grass stain! I know all of the cheat codes of your games." The elevator door opened and heard Cyborg's familiar booming voice.
"Hey guys, check me out!" Pausing the game, they turned and saw Cy-Victor Stone standing in the actual flesh in a plain white T-shirt, blue jeans and light blue sneakers.
"What's with the holo-ring dude?" BB asked but Victor shrugged.
"No holo-rings this time baby." He replied as he waved his fingers around. "You're looking at the real deal." Walking to them, he flexed an arm. "Check it out." Feeling his arm, they were surprised to be feeling actual skin and muscle.
"Cyborg, you're actually human!" The Boy Wonder realized.
"Wow, so ripped." Beast Boy said.
"Glorious!" Starfire agreed.
"I'm getting some serious deja vu from our short time at the academy." Jinx remarked.
"Yeah, I asked Raven four days ago. And I actually did this not for myself, but for one thing." Directing all his attention to Jinx, he asked, "Jinx, may we go out on a date today? I wanted to know what it's like to date such a wonderful person like you as a normal human, with all the normal experiences a real boy can have with his girl." Blushing from the last thing he said, the metahuman chuckled as she cupped his face.
"Of course." She then kissed him.
"Great! And I just know where to go!" Suddenly picking her up like a bride, she laughed as she was carried away, still dwarfed in comparison by his football player like body.
"Yeah Cy! You run free with your girl now Cyborg! Run free!" Beast Boy shouted with encouragement after them, mirroring the same words Cyborg said for him.
"Oh wait, we can't call him Cyborg anymore can we?"
"Yeah, he's just a fleshy guy now." The formally metallic titan stopped as he said,
"You're right. For today, it's just Victor and Jinx." The two then left. Driving away from the tower, the pink haired titan asked Victor,
"So, what do you want to do, now that you're just like all the rest of the normies walking through the streets?"
"I know of an all you can eat buffet. I'm going to enjoy every bite." Going to the restaurant, the two were presented with a leg of ham, pancakes with syrup and butter, doughnuts, pie, sandwiches, apples, soup, cookies, fried chicken and cake. After a bunch of eating, the two sat in their chairs with ballooned out bellies.
"That was soooooo gooooood."
"Definitely a good indulgence." Jinx agreed before giving off a giant burp. She covered her mouth and looked at Victor whom was shocked a few seconds before they both laughed. That is until he suddenly stopped.
"Uh...I got to go." He went and dashed to the bathroom. She chuckled before getting the same feeling and going to the ladies room. After the whole binge and go, Jinx saw a spa and suggested it.
"Let's go to that spa. You'll get to know what being at physical zen feels like.
"I want some physical zen!" Parking, they went in and paid for the full experience. Aromatherapy, the sauna after learning that hot tubs are too overwhelming, body wraps with blankets, a full deep tissue massage which made the two honestly feel like jelly during and after the procedure, facials where Victor made fun that Jinx looked like an alien with that stuff on, which resulted in him getting a playful zap, etc. Several hours later, the two felt like two entirely new people.
"Oh man, I feel just so relaxed right now. I've literally forgotten the body can feel this good."
"I bet. It's been a while for me too. Sure removes a girl's stress from her crazy friends, much as she loves them. She then gasped with a huge smile on her face. "Let's go ride the roller coaster next!"
"Why?"
"So that you can feel the exhilaration of being a human again! I mean, it would probably have to be a different roller coaster since I'm banned from the one I broke but it'll still be fun!"
"Oh yeah! Okay let's do it!" The normal teen was pumped for this.
Afterwards
Victor was puking into a trash can while an awkward Jinx patted his back.
"Ugh, that all you can eat is not agreeing with me!"
"Sorry. Maybe a roller coaster was a bit too extreme." The girl apologized. Using a napkin to wipe away his puke, Victor with the help of his girlfriend walked to a bench.
"No, it was definitely worth it. It's just been a while is all. This date has been great Jinx." He drew her in close, and the metahuman giggled.
"Today has been real fun. I'm glad we could experience this together." They were going to kiss when they heard screams. Looking over, they noticed that See-more and Billy Numerous were not exactly wreaking havoc, but certainly making a disturbance as the multiplying villain stole all the prizes while See-more handled all the security with eye blasts. And that's when he saw them.
"Jinx? What, on a date with...whoever that guy is?"
"Yeah, I was on a date until you two ruined the moment." She growled, her hands glowing pink. Billy joined his comrade as he circled around them.
"Well, we did come here just to have fun, but while we're at it..." With a smirk, Jinx simply tapped her foot against the wooden floor of the pier, which caused all but the original Billy and See-more to fall into the sea with a yelp, leaving a near perfect circle of open air surrounding the couple.
"I'll get you!" The ocular villain threatened as he shot lasers at them. Victor tried shooting at the attacks with his sonic blaster, but his arm was of flesh and bone now, not sweet weaponry. He then grunted from being pushed down to the ground while his girlfriend defended for the both of them.
"Get out of here!" She told Victor, whom had to jump over the gap and behind a barrel. Leaping over a cotton candy vending machine to hide from the continuous laser onslaught. To her left was a metal bat which she took. Looking over her barrier, she noticed a kid who appeared to be ignorant of the danger, preparing to throw a baseball at some scammy milk glass stack. Grinning, she snapped her fingers which sparked some pink energy. The kid threw the ball which not only bounced off the top glass, it bonked against See-more's top left side of his head, accidentally shoot his partner in the foot.
"Yowch! Hey, what's the big idea shooting my foot?!"
"Hey man, it ain't my fault! It was that-"
"Oh boys." A feminine voice called to them, attracting their attention. Bam! Both fools fell onto their backs after Jinx whacked them both in the head with the metal bat she had with a running start. Stopping, she placed the bat over her shoulders and quipped, "Heads up."
"Ah ah ah, not so fast Jinx!" She turned and gasped to see two Numerous clones holding him hostage, holding his arms tight against his back. "That was a mighty smart play there, but we've got yer date now! If I see one flash of pink, he gets it!"
"You think I'm that defenseless?" Victor questioned before jumping to slam his feet into theirs. Even without his heavy robotic body, it still caused the clones to hop from foot to foot in pain before having their heads grabbed and bashed against each other, knocking them both out.
"Nice work Victor." Jinx praised her boyfriend.
"Still got the stuff." Victor flexed his muscular arm before kissing it, making her roll her eyes yet still retained her grin.
After an enjoyable dinner and movie with the titans, Jinx lay in the arms of her boyfriend on the couch, finishing one of Victor's greatest wants.
"So this is what it feels like to snuggle with a girlfriend in your arms. I've forgotten how good and comfortable it is."
"You do certainly feel more comfortable on my part." The female metahuman nuzzled her face into his chest. "It was almost perfect."
"Almost?" The former football player sounded worried.
"Yeah. You weren't my favorite Cyborg."
"Oh yeah, plus I managed to get into harms way instead of kicking butt with ya." Then he thought of something. "You like me as Cyborg better?"
"Well, you and Cyborg are one and the same. And while it was definitely nice to go on a date with a normal you, Cyborg is more normal for me. Your cute red eye, the fact you're the whole kitchen and entertainment system at once while also a walking weaponry, along with the fact you're durable enough for my hexes means that I can love you without worry of hurting you. But putting that aside, Victor or Cyborg, I love you all the same."
"Aww, I love you too baby." The two shared a tender kiss while they let sleep overtake them. Even with the knowledge that he'll be Cyborg again, at least Victor Stone got another day to enjoy life.
A/N: Hey Eris, long time no read. Certainly awesome you're back. So, I have two things to say. One is I couldn't understand your idea for Crazy Day. The words just wouldn't entirely make sense, but from what I could, it felt like something of the Scooby Doo Cyberchase movie back when those movies were good. Was that what you were going for? I mean if it's simplified to that, then I could understand. It just needed to be worded better is all. And second, since you were having and idea block, is there a way we can talk more directly with each other? Since you're recognized only as a guest reviewer than a registered user like me and my other help, I can't private message you. Signing up is free and only a username and password is required if you didn't know that already. Then we can actually talk that doesn't require chapter updates to do so. It would be a huge help of convenience.
