Total Sole Survivor Ep 5 Part 1 "Good Sorries are actions, not words"
Caleb was seen in his own room. His room was a lot more organized than Michigan's. It also seemed to be a bit brighter. The light blue walls of his room were coated with posters of scientific facts and motivational quotes, even some pictures of his favorite fictional characters.
Caleb himself was seen standing in the mirror as he traced a black comb through his hair, just fixing it up a bit.
"Glad you could catch me in my morning routine," Caleb smiled at the camera. "Just patching up the hair. But time to talk about the last episode."
"So last time on Total Sole Survivor!"
So with Gavin's elimination, some people took it worse than others
The screen showed this scene:
"About what! Which part! The part where you yelled at Gavin at elimination or the part where you spinelessly voted him off!" Ingrid shot out as she turned quickly on her heels, some mud went flying as a result.
But Howie took it as a sign that it was time for team bonding
The screen then showed this scene:
"Look guys, if we are gonna work as a team we need to be able to get along. With all the team arguments and lack of teamwork, we're a failure waiting to happen. So if we're gonna move forward, we need to be a team," Howie explained to them, taking the time to make eye contact with each of them.
On the Sophisticated Salamanders, Cece initiated a new plan to target the newly made couple
The screen then showed this confessional:
🃏Cece- "Is it that hard to realize. One of the most important rules of the game is you never keep a couple. For obvious reasons, they'll take each other to the end. If you don't break it up then you're basically going against an unstoppable final two."
Which the boys actually considered
The screen then showed this moment:
"I mean, in theory it makes sense," Stefan admitted as he thought about it. "As much as I don't like it."
At the reward challenge, the Salamanders once again secured another victory! Winning them a movie night!
This confessional was then show:
😊Daisy- "Winning the reward challenge and winning a movie is just spectacular! Being here I've missed movies and other fun things, so it's great to have something to just stop and enjoy!"
Although Cece took the opportunity to turn the couple against the boys with some crafty lies
The screen showed this scene:
"Well..you guys are now targets. I thought that much was obvious," Cece now looked the two of them in the eyes."Targets? By who?" Daisy pressed on."Is it that hard to guess," Cece gestured in the general direction the other 3 boys had gone. "They're scared of you guys being a power duo."
While Charlotte crafted up some lies of her own
The screen then showed this scene:
Charlotte- "Time to spin Howie's little game into mine," Charlotte's cute little face somehow managed to become a wicked grin. "The fire has started."
Then Howie crafted up some social awareness, and finally began to see what has been there the whole time.
The screen then showed this confessional:
Howie- "I didn't think I could be that oblivious, but I accidentally was. Now what? I don't like Esme like that...but I don't want to hurt her."
In the end, the Ambitious Alligators won the capture-the-flag immunity challenge. Sending the Salamanders to elimination for the third time.
The screen showed this scene:
Caleb smiled as the contestants returned, clearing his throat. "So congratulations to the Ambitious Alligators! Safe once again from the threat of elimination." The Ambitious Alligators just all clapped, even releasing a "woo!"(From Carter and Esme).
And while Cece almost pulled off her perfect plan, it falled just short.
The screen shows this scene:
Isn't it obvious she is one that's playing us," Gabe stated. "She told me, Stefan, and Kelvin to target you guys. Then she told you guys we were targeting you. She's playing us against each other, I do it all the time in murder mystery games."
We're down to 12 players! Who will go next? Will the Salamanders get their second win? How will Ryder and Daisy react to almost being the ones sent home? How is Howie gonna deal with the whole Esme situation?" Caleb sighed. "This episode seems to be one centered around heart-break, so things might be a little sad. All that and more, on this episode of Total Sole Survivor!"
**Song: I Wanna be Famous(Total Drama Theme Song)**
As the theme song starts with the instrumental, the camera just begins with showing the view of the exotic and eye-capturing island. It takes it time showing glimpses of the refreshing water, puffy clouds, and flourishing trees.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,
The scene then shows Kelvin with a magnifying glass inspecting one of the trees, and then curiously shaking the tree. This causes a ferocious bird that was up in the tree to come swooping down towards him with extended claws. He begins to run as it chases him.
You guys are on my mind.
The next scene shows Esme sitting down on a log playing her guitar, as Carter is hanging upside down by his legs in a nearby tree just listening. Kelvin is shown to run past the two of them, and the bird is shown to soon after follow, knocking Carter out of the tree in the process.
You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see,
Esme is then shown to run towards Carter concerned, as the scene then switches. It then shows Howie, who is up in a tall tree carrying a baby bird. He is supposedly putting a baby bird back in it's nest. Although just as he is about to place the baby bird in the nest, Balaam is shown to come swinging by on a vine and knocks the nest out of the tree.
I wanna be famous.
Luckily Howie quickly catches the nest, but then Ingrid is shown to then come swinging by on a vine also, which she then accidentally hits the baby bird out of Howie's hand to his dismay.
I wanna live close to the sun,
The camera then begins to follow Ingrid and Balaam as they seem to be racing on vines. Afterwards the camera pans downwards to show Daisy and Serenna sitting by the cabins. The two of them are just shown to be laying back in folding chairs with shades, and both holding glasses of champagne. They clink their glasses together for a sign of toast.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
The camera then transitions to show Gabe by the river playing on his nintendo switch, which he's clearly immersed in whichever game he's playing. Although Ryder is shown to suddenly come flipping out of the water, splashing both Gabe and his nintendo switch.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way I'll get there one day.
Gabe is just shown to have a devastated look, as Ryder has a sheepish grin. The next scene then showed Cece and Ashley playing a card game in the mess hall. It can be seen whenever Ashley takes a moment to jot something down in her notebook, Cece sneakily glances at her cards.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
The next scene shows Erin inside the cabins with Gavin. She's shown trying to tell him some sort of strategy, as he just turns to look at the camera with a look of 'why me'.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
The next scene shows Stefan on the beach with Charlotte with a stereo in between the two of them. Stefan is shown to be doing some good footwork dancing, which he ends with a twirl before pointing finger guns towards Charlotte as a signal that it's her turn to dance. Charlotte is shown to roll her eyes, before performing a cute little jig.

The next scene shows all the other contestants making their way over to the beach, all taking posing positions as if getting ready for a picture. Caleb is shown to slide into the front to join the photo.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
The camera then zooms out to reveal Michigan who is holding her phone to take a picture of the group. Although after she presses click, she just ends up just to be taking a selfie of herself the whole time. Caleb is shown to give her an impatient look, which she then just smirks and finally takes the photo.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The flash of the camera acts as the transition, as the next frame shows the cast photo: Caleb is standing in the front just displaying his pearly white charming smile. On the right of Caleb: Carter is just making a silly face at the camera. Behind Carter is Balaam who is flexing his muscles on one arm, while he's carrying Charlotte on his other shoulder. Charlotte is just shown to have a devious smirk. Daisy is shown to be besides him, with a natural smile as she does an actress pose. Kelvin is shown to be besides her trying to mimic her pose. Cece is just shown to have an unassessable face as she is holding three cards between her fingers. On the ground in front of those people, Esme and Ingrid are shown to be seated back to back, both smiling up at the camera. On Caleb's right side: Gabe is shown to be doing theatrical jazz hands with a wide grin. Stefan is shown to be slightly behind Gabe, just having a casually grin. Howie was shown to be beside them just giving a fresh smile with his hands placed in his pockets. Erin and Ashley are shown to be besides them with their hands around each other's shoulder. Ryder is shown to be near them, just excitedly pumping his fist into the air. Gavin is shown to be towards the side of the photo, with his head titled downwards as he just glances at the camera with only one of his eyes being shown and the other being covered. Serenna is shown to be in front of that group on the ground doing the pose where you lie on your side and placing your hand to your head.
(Whistling in tune)
The final scene shows a shadowy silhouette of whoever the winner of the season was. They were standing on a cliff looking over the lively island as they held a torch and quietly whistled to the tune of the theme song.
Sophisticated Salamanders Girls Cabin (Night 12)
Daisy plopped herself down on her bed, just returning from the elimination.
She sighed as she rolled on her side looking at the now empty beds of her fellow female teammates.
"The last girl..." Daisy just said to herself as she began to frown. The fact has just sunken in.
Confessionals
😊Daisy- "I don't know if it was just by chance, but now I'm the last girl on the Salamanders...Well I guess it wasn't by chance considering I did join an alliance with me and all the boys. Can't say I'm happy about that...being the only girl I mean."

Daisy then heard the door to the cabin open. She sat up, to see Ryder leap in the bed across from her.
"How are you holding up," Ryder was smiling. "We didn't go home! Another elimination! And we can see another day!"
"Yea, I guess so," Daisy forced a small grin.
Ryder noticed and got up to go sit next to her. "What's wrong Daisy?"
Daisy sighed as she fiddled with the necklace Ryder had given her.
"It's just a lot...all the girls are gone. My own friends came close to voting me out," Daisy explained as she placed both hands on her head. "It's hard."
"Whenever is reality TV easy. Come on! It's an adventure!" Ryder assured her.
"Not a fun one," Daisy still frowned.
"But a good one," Ryder argued. "If everything was perfect it wouldn't be a very good adventure."
"In which adventures do you see the friends turn on the couple," Daisy laughed.
"It's better than the other stories where the couple turn on each other!" Ryder remarked as he laughed as well.
"Or a love triangle," Daisy joked as she nudge Ryder.
"That's definitely not the worse trope," Ryder shook his head. "Have you seen enemies to lovers?"
"I actually love that trope," Daisy argued. "C'mon it works."
"Okay, but my point is it's just an adventure. You gotta enjoy it!" Ryder put his arm around her shoulder.
Daisy laughed, before her face became more serious. "Hey Ryder?"
"Yea," Ryder noticed her change in tone.
"Promise you won't vote me out? Won't turn on me?" Daisy asked as she looked him directly in the eye.
Ryder hesitated as he thought about it. "What?"
"Ryder, promise you won't vote for me?"
"Don't worry about it okay," Ryder just smiled as he gave her a kiss. "You know me."
Daisy still seemed unsure, but she shrugged off the feeling.
"Okay then," Daisy smiled as she then got ready to change into her nightgown. She just bent over to retrieve it from her bags.
"Night beautiful, sleep tight," Ryder just called as he left the cabin.
"Night!" Daisy called back in return.
Confessionals
😊Daisy- "I trust Ryder, but you realize he never promised me...but I believe him. I feel like we have been close the whole game, so I don't think he'd turn on me. I'm just worried about what would happen if we lose again. Now that it's down to the five of us...who would go?"

🏃Ryder- "No way am I ever voting for Daisy! But who knows what I'd do, cause I always get into something funky. I don't want to make a promise I can't keep...but I think if we get to the merge I won't have to worry about voting for her."

Sophisticated Salamanders Boy Cabin (Night 12)
Meanwhile, Stefan, Gabe, and Kelvin had already entered the boys cabin. They were just getting prepared for bed. All of them headed to their own bunk as they changed into the pajamas/nightwear.
"..Well..this is awkward now.." Gabe muttered as he was cleaning his glasses using a small light blue handkerchief. "Ryder isn't mad at us is he?"
"Well considering that his girlfriend was almost voted off it is correct to assume that Ryder would be upset because as Daisy's significant other it is his duty to support her," Kelvin answered as he layed back on his bed.
"So basically he isn't mad," Gabe noted. "He could be pissed. Definitely worse."
"What's the difference between mad and pissed?" Stefan inquired as he was getting tucked into his own bed. "They're basically the same."
"Mad is 'Look what you did to me' While piss is more of a 'Look what I'm gonna do to you' vibe," Gabe explained his version of it. "Pissed is already at the point where punches are thrown. Mad is where mouths are still permitted to stop the launching of hands. It can be a scary difference."
"I don't find that to be true in any of my known definitions, but thank you for the insight," Kelvin then stated. "Report: Pissed people are dangerous."
"You can say that," Gabe smiled as he then sat down on his own bed. "In the gamer world it can be the difference between being cussed out by an 8 year old or them calling their mother."
"Them cussing you out is when they're pissed?" Stefan asked, sounding perturbed.
"Nope, only when they're mad," Gabe responded simply. "When they're pissed they get their mother to do it for them. Man, some children are evil and when you hear their mothers you figure out why."
Finally the door to the cabin opened with Ryder coming in.
Confessionals
🎮Gabe- "You ever love a game but hate it at the same time. Well that's how I feel about this game at the moment. Knowing that I'll eventually have to vote out my friends is one thing. But having them remain friends with me after I vote them out is another. I wanna win, but I also don't want to lose. Lose friends I mean."
**Static**
✌Stefan- "I guess Ryder does have the right to be mad at us, but it's only how you play the game, bruh. I hope he doesn't take it personally, cause he is our friend after all. I hope Daisy is okay too, didn't mean to make either of them feel some type of way."

Ryder came in, not really saying anything as he just headed to his bunk.
"Hey Ryder," Gabe began gently, trying to start up a conversation.
"Hey," Ryder echoed back simply, clearly still sounding slightly bothered by tonight's incident.
There was a moment of no one speaking, as the only sound was the creeks of the ladder as Ryder climbed to his top bunk.
"Look Ryder, I'm sorry. Or well I guess we're sorry. We shouldn't have tried to turn on Daisy or you," Gabe then apologized. "And I know you might be pissed or angry, but hopefully we can talk this out."
Ryder didn't reply as he just layed back on his bed. He just let out an irritated breath 😤.
"Ryder, we kept Daisy cause we didn't want to do anything to make you mad or to hurt you, dude" Stefan then added on. "We're sorry that Cece got in our head."
"Technically we were willing to do Daisy, but the only reason that didn't occur is because Cece was deemed as untrustworthy. Otherwise, Daisy would be the prime option," Kelvin explained.
Gabe laughed awkwardly at Kelvin's comment, before saying, "Kelvin, I'm gonna need you to please shut it."
"What is the 'it' that needs to be shut?" Kelvin asked, tilting his head.
"Just close your mouth," Gabe instructed as he did a close motion with his hand.
Kelvin did as he asked.
"It's just..." Ryder finally began speaking. "..how do I know you guys won't do it again. I want to trust you guys, but.."
"Ryder, we wouldn't backstab you guys. We need you, bro," Stefan assured him. "And Daisy too. You guys are our allies, but more importantly you're our friends, dude."
"Look, I'm not pissed. I'm just..surprised...maybe a little angry, but I kind of get it," Ryder told them.
"So we cool?" Gabe asked hopefully.
"We're cool. Also, you're telling me you guys will never do it?" Ryder then questioned, finally seeming a bit more willing to converse.
"Well...never is a long time and we can't say it would never happen," Stefan replied after thinking about it.
"Oh so you would do it," Ryder answered back now sounding annoyed again as he then turned to face the wall.
"Ryder, we have to play the game too. You and Daisy are cool bro, but we didn't come to get knocked out fifth, fourth, and third. We need ways to get to the end too," Stefan tried to slowly explain.
Ryder just grunted as he pulled the covers over himself.
Stefan then turned to Gabe, who shrugged downheartedly.
"..I guess we should sleep on it," Stefan suggested as he sighed. "Night."
Confessionals
🎮Gabe- "Looks like we have get Ryder's and Daisy's trust back. If only we didn't lose it in the first place..." Gabe sighed.
**Static**
🏃Ryder- "Of course Gabe, Stefan, and Kel are still my friends, but it's hard to forget that they literally were this close to voting off my girlfriend. I appreciate loyalty and trust, so those who aren't loyal aren't worth my appreciation...okay that's a bit harsh, but you get what I mean."

Sophisticated Salamanders Campgrounds (Day 13)
The Salamanders were currently all outside just preparing some breakfast. They were eating some of the fish they had caught yesterday out on the lake.
"I have never eaten fish as a breakfast item before," Kelvin admitted as he took another bite of the small portion of fish he had on his plate.
"I guess no one really has," Daisy replied awkwardly, still feeling uncomfortable by the fact she was almost voted off by her friends. She frowned as she just took small bites of her food.
Stefan noticed the tinge of awkwardness in Daisy's voice
"Oh by way, Daisy. We wanted to say sorry for letting Cece get in our heads," Stefan then told her as he now had a more remorseful smile. "We didn't want to break your trust, but I get it if you kind of are iffy, bruh."
Daisy smiled at the apology, "Honesty, it's fine. It's probably better if we move on anyways."
"Moving on sounds like a good idea," Gabe agreed keenly as he nodded. "I think we need to think about how we're winning the next challenge instead. We're down 5 to 7 guys. That's a growing gap!"
"Well it is difficult to assume how one will win a challenge when one does not know what said challenge is," Kelvin just stated.
"We're being general, Kel. What is our very broad and general plan," Gabe clarified.
"I think we need to get energized!" Ryder suggested as he did a quick high knees. "Get pumped up! We need to be fiercer in the challenges guys, something to bring back our momentum!"
"I don't know, bro.." Stefan admitted as he frowned a bit. "I think we need to relax to soothe our nerves. That way we are calm and composed during the challenge."
"Relax? There's no time to relax!" Ryder shook his head. "Not when we're losing multiple challenges!"
"Bruh, we need to have a clear and focused head for the challenge," Stefan countered.
"How about we get pumped up, and then relax," Daisy suggested a compromise as she glanced at everyone. "That way we're still energized, but have a clear head as well."
"I guess so," Ryder gave in.
"Sure," Stefan shrugged at the idea.
Kelvin and Gabe both just signaled to her with a thumbs up.
Confessionals
🏃Ryder- "One thing I hate is losing, so consistently losing over and over is starting to drive me insane! We don't have time to relax and let ourselves keep falling behind! We need to get fired up and start winning things!"
**Static**
✌Stefan- "Considering we keep losing I think at this point we need to stay calm and keep a cool head during the challenges. I think if we get too fired up we can lose our focus, bruh. We gotta chill and let things play out in our favor."

Everyone finished eating their fish before the Sophisticated Salamanders all decided to go for a jog. Ryder thought it was the best way to pump them up.
They just followed a light trail that winded through the forest, curving evenly around trees and rocks.
"So you know where we're going Ryder?" Stefan questioned as he glanced around the forestry they were passing.
"Yup!" Ryder replied as he was the one in the front leading the group. "I do this like almost everyday."
"And this is expected to heighten our challenge performance?" Kelvin then questioned.
"There's nothing a good jog can't fix," Ryder replied as he looked back with an exhilarated smile.
"Well actually there are multiple things that can't be fixed by jogging. Such as a broken dog ankle-" Kelvin began, only for Ryder to give him an annoyed look, accompanied by everyone else's stares.
"It's an expression, Kelvin," Ryder told him finally. "You gotta learn we're not being literally when we say these things."
The group then jogged for a while, with Ryder in the front and Kelvin taking the back of the group.
Every once in a while, a snake, wolf, or some other dangerous animal would rustle out of a bush or be spotted on the path, causing them to change directions.
"Ryder, are you sure this is a safe path?" Gabe finally had to ask after they had spotted their eighth snake.
"Yup," Ryder answered simply as he ran unbothered by legitimate wild dangers. Ryder if anything seemed more relaxed.
As if just to oppose his statement a panther abruptly poked its head out from behind a tree and revealed its razor-like teeth.
Everyone's(expect Ryder's) eyes widened as they jolted forward to get closer to the front of the group.
"Ryder, this doesn't seem very safe.." Daisy admitted, now seeming pretty fidgety herself. "That's like the fifth time an animal looked like it was thinking it was gonna eat us."
"And the third time an animal was actually gonna follow through with that thought," Gabe chimed in.
Ryder groaned at all their complaints. He turned to face them all once again, now his pace being a slow backwards jog.
"I'm sure the path is safe," Ryder guaranteed them, but once he saw their looks he added. "But the animals, not so much. But relax, no one has died yet. Plus what better way to pump you up than a little danger."
Confessionals
✌Stefan- "I don't know why Ryder jogs on a path that he knows is full of vicious animals, but some questions will never get a good answer. This experience was supposed to get us prepared for the challenge, but instead it just resulted in us being prepared to leave Ryder to be eaten by wolves if it came down to it. I'm telling you, the animals in that forest are a different breed, bruh. Scary."
**Static**
👽Kelvin- "Jogging in the forest was not a very pleasurable experience. I thought the consumers would consume me as my body contains vital sources of energy. Considering that, I would be understanding if they were to eat me."

With the group done "pumping up", they then went down to the beach for some time to relax. (Mostly due to everyone's protest after a wolf pack had chased them for 10 minutes.)
Daisy had set down towels for everyone, specifically setting hers by Ryder's.
Everyone was wearing their swimwear and all took a spot by a towel.
They then all laid back as they bathed in the sun's bright rays. It was comfortable as the sand was a delightfully lukewarm temperature, and when the tide came up to touch their feet it was just light and refreshing.
"This is what I call relaxing. Just taking a moment to just breathe and slow down, to gather your thoughts, to come to peace internally.." Stefan whispered in a soothing way as he closed his eyes. "This will get us ready for the challenge."
"Or just make us sunburned and bored," Ryder muttered, but Stefan just ignored his comment as he hummed quietly to himself.
Everyone rested there with there eyes closed for a moment, but it was less than 5 minutes when Ryder invientably said "I'm boredddd"
Daisy with her eyes still closed just reached her hand out to grab his. "Take a moment to just enjoy this moment, Ryder. Just appreciate where you are. Remember what I said about slowing down?"
"Ya ya, slow down or you might miss somethings in life," Ryder recalled sighing. "Now I'm just missing ALL things in life."
"Slow down to think about where we are. We're on an island. This is a once in a lifetime experience, like you told me last night, it's an adventure. We're meeting people we'd never get to see. Doing things we'd never think we'd do. We're letting the world see who we are. And before we know it it's gonna be over. Back to the real world, adventure over," Daisy muttered in a mystified and inspirational way. "Appreciate that you're still here. That you made it this far. That you made these friends along the way. Appreciate that you met me. That we still have a long way to get to the end. That we're here in this moment."
"Preach," Stefan just commented after what Daisy just said. "That's deep, bruh."
Ryder just seemed to be left pondering for a moment.
He then sighed as he then closed his eyes like everyone else.
The Salamanders just then vibed in the moment.
Confessionals
✌Stefan- "I think taking a moment to relax was good for the team. Clears our heads for the challenge. It's true everything that Daisy said, This is a once in a lifetime experience. You gotta enjoy it, bruh."
**Static**
😊Daisy- "No offense to Ryder, but definitely think I speak for everyone when I say I prefer bathing in the sun than being preyed on by wild animals. If we didn't get out of there quick enough we would have been the meal of a wolf pack. But I guess the best part about the team activities is that we got unity back on the team! So even if the activities don't work, at least we got teamwork!"

The Ambitious Alligators Girls Cabin🐊 (Day 13)
Inside the girls cabin, the girls certainly weren't just "enjoying the moment". It wasn't really a moment to enjoy.
At the moment, Charlotte was just tucking her head under a pillow. She was blocking out the noise from Esme and Ingrid who had been bickering all morning.
"-which is why it's gonna work, but all you do is doubt me!" Esme bellowed as she was sitting on her bed as she was looking over a page of the song she wrote for Howie.
"I don't doubt you. What I doubt is that Howie would like you," Ingrid rolled her eyes as she bounced a green ball against the wall.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Esme then boomed.
"Can you just think about it for a moment!" Ingrid then screamed defensively. "All I'm saying is Howie doesn't seem interested. You're wasting your time."
"I am not! All the time I put into this will eventually be worth it when Howie finally notices me as the hot, talented, and funny babe! You're such a hater!" Esme huffed stubbornly as she crossed her arms.
"It's not hating, it's just the facts," Ingrid countered. "If you can't handle the facts, then you definitely won't be able to handle rejection."
"I'm not gonna get rejected! Why can't you be supportive like Charlotte!" Esme groaned as she threw her head back in annoyance.
"Cause I'm not Charlotte, someone has to tell the truth!" Ingrid retaliated.
The bathroom door then opened, and Serenna who had been using it exited dressed in her outfit for the day.
She just glanced at Charlotte as she exited, "They're still going?"
Charlotte poked her head out from under the pillow just to say, "Never stopped."
Confessionals
Charlotte- "It's nice to see that my rumors are taking effect and we're back to having people at each other's throats. Not like we even had much peace in the first place."

🎸Esme- "After hearing the things Charlotte told me about Ingrid having something against me, I can see it now! She is such a straight up hater, and I really don't get what her issue is? Is it your relationship? No! So move on and mind your business!"

"Serenna, what do you think?" Esme demanded, dragging her into the debate.
"What I think is I'm staying out of it," Serenna replied coolly as she just walked past her to exit the cabin.
"You girls figure it out," Serenna just stated before she left.
As the two of them began to squabble again, Charlotte scurried out of the cabin and went to catch up to Serenna.
"Serenna, wait-" Charlotte called as she came to walk beside her.
Serenna slowed down and turned to stare at her. "Is there something you need?"
"..I guess some time out of the cabin," Charlotte admitted as she shrugged.
"Well you now have your time, and your time doesn't involve me," Serenna told her as she tried to continue walking.
"But there is something inside the cabin that does-" Charlotte stated quickly trying to stop her. "Something about you."
"Hhm?" Serenna turned to look at Charlotte. "What about me?"
"Well Esme and Ingrid were talking.." Charlotte began as she held her eyes to the floor, trying to keep up her shy-like persona.
"It was more shouting than talking, but go on," Serenna urged her to resume.
"Well it was when they were talking. They were having an important talk about you..."
"Naturally. Important people come up in Important conversations."
"...important because they were considering who was going next."
"Well- wait hold it. Considering who was going next? I best know my name wasn't coming out of their mouths," Serenna now gazed at the cabin with a glare. "To say I should go?"
Charlotte let there be a lengthy pause as if she was nervous to answer "..Yea.."
"What did I do to them?" Serenna demanded as she looked shocked.
"I really wasn't sure..I think they don't really like your leadership skills," Charlotte answered as she placed a hand behind her back
"They don't have to like it to respect it," Serenna scoffed. "We've only lost one challenge, so clearly my leadership must be doing something, and that something is working. If they don't like it, then whose problem is that."
"I just thought you should know.." Charlotte then smiled at her. "I personally think you're a good leader."
"Oh trust me, I think so too," Serenna just replied.

💅 Serenna- "The last name I'd ever expect to come up is mine. Last time I checked my leadership had yet to fail us. Plus I did the girls hair for free, so you can't say I haven't been nice lately. If you're gonna use my name, use it the right way, cause if you start problems with me, I'll be the one to finish them."

Charlotte- "If you can't tell, which let's hope Serenna can't, but I lied. I have told everyone lies but Serenna, so now that I told her one, I've covered everyone. Now everyone is gonna be targeting each other, and no one is gonna be targeting me. Just the way I like it."

Esme had exited the girls cabin to go practice her song one more time before she would actually play it for Howie, although she had run into Serenna by the stairs who seemed to be waiting outside of the cabin.
"Can you believe her?" Esme said, referencing Ingrid as she pointed in the direction of the cabin. "She doesn't know if my song for Howie will work or not. So she can at least act like it's gonna work."
Serenna just kept a stern look as she crossed her arms.
"What I can't believe is you were talking about me going home," Serenna responded accusingly.
Esme stopped as she just had to think about that for a moment as she was confused.
"Hm?" Esme scratched her head after a while. "When was that?"
"That's what I should be asking you," Serenna stated as she had an expectant stare.
Esme glanced around in puzzlement, before she looked back at Serenna. "I don't know what you're talking about?"
"Lying isn't gonna get you out of this," Serenna responded almost automatically as if she expected an answer like that.
"But I'm not lying?" Esme shook her head.
"Okay, so you're telling me this conversation about me didn't happen," Serenna demanded, while rolling her eyes.
"...yes?" Esme answered hesitantly, which probably wasn't a good thing as it gave off a suspicious tone.
"If you're gonna hesitate like that then you might as well say no, you're clearly lying," Serenna snapped.
"But I'm not," Esme pleaded. "I really don't know what conversation this is?"
"Well then figure it out. And figure out when you plan on telling the truth while you're at it," Serenna just said as she turned and walked away.

💅 Serenna- "The fact your lying to my face like I can't tell your lying. Some people really test your patience and insult your intelligence while doing it. Esme, I know you're lying, so drop the act. Don't think Ingrid got off easy either. Both of them found the right person to put them in the wrong place."

🎸 Esme- Esme just looked around and blinked at what had just occurred. "I'm honestly so confused right now. Like what just happened? But anyways, I can't wait to play my song for Howie! This is gonna be so good! It's the moment I have been preparing for all morning! Ehhh! Wish me luck! Hopefully I break a leg, and not my heart, hehe!"

Meanwhile, Charlotte was with Balaam by the beach. He was just building a sand castle, while Charlotte sat watching as she chatted with him. She was telling him some fascinating information.
"Okay, so here's how I think the team's set up. Howie and Ingrid potentially want to get you out, but Ingrid would probably also be willing to target Carter. Ingrid and Serenna could also help us go after Esme. Then if we wanted out Ingrid, we'd probably be able to get Serenna, Carter, and Esme to vote that way," Charlotte explained to him as she was staring at the left side of the castle as Balaam was building it up.
Balaam just nodded at the facts as he was molding the sand with his palms.
"Honesty, probably best Carter goes first. Then Esme. Best we knock out the people who are boy scout's dogs and listen to his beck and call," Balaam then mentioned.
"Probably.." Charlotte agreed quietly as she now turned to stare at a crab that was crawling by.
"How do you know all this information anyways? And why tell me?" Balaam then questioned her.
Charlotte looked back at him as she explained, "When you listen more than you talk, you can pick up some things..that's how I know. Also we're still an alliance right? I know what happened to Gavin was-"
"Kind of my fault," Balaam finished for her.
"All of your fault," Charlotte corrected, a slight bit of bitterness being heard in her voice, "but I guess we still have to stick together. If you go..then I probably go right after."
"You don't probably go. You DO go," Balaam emphasized. "The only reason I see the team keeping you is if they wanted out a bigger target."
"Gee, thanks..." Charlotte muttered sarcastically

Charlotte- "Do I actually think I go home after Balaam? Not really, I think I created enough targets on other people's backs that none are on me. Although, I'm still mad about what Balaam did to Gavin and in reality my trust for him is like that sand castle, small and fragile. But I need him to stay because he's the only person other than Ingrid that will actually work with me. He needs me, so he'll vote with me."

😈Balaam- "I'm surprised Charlotte trust me, but at the same time she probably has no one else to trust but me. Right now, the team is all over the place, so at this point anyone can go home. My only objective to make sure that anyone isn't me. So should Charlotte trust me? Not if she values her own game. I threw Gavin under the bus, so don't think I wouldn't do the same to her if I have to. For now I'd be stupid to not work with her."

The Cafeteria
Both teams had gathered around noon, to get breakfast if they wanted. The meal on the menu was sausage with some hash browns.
Everyone was having a seat, except Esme who was organizing some papers on a counter as she had her guitar strapped around her shoulder.
Carter, who was by her side, just whispered, "You sure you wanna do this?"
"Carter, if I wasn't sure then I wouldn't be doing it," Esme told him confidently. "I know what I want and I'm gonna get it."
Esme looked in Howie's direction with a glittery look in her eye, as did Carter who looked more concerned.
"Well..um sometimes we don't get it.." Carter began as he was already aware of how Howie felt.
"But most times we do," Esme quipped back with self-assurance as she then walked up to play.
Esme took a deep breath, before she then strummed a bit to get everyone's attention.
It took a moment, but soon the chattering in the room came to a halt as there was then silence.
Caleb and Michigan just looked at each other, before they turned to look at Esme curiously.
Esme smiled at everyone as she looked around the room, eyes locking directly on Howie for a moment.
Howie smiled awkwardly as he glanced at Carter who gave him a face of 'I tried.'
"My fellow contestants! I have something to play for you!" Esme announced as she held her guitar steadily in her hand. "It's a song that goes out to a special person. Howie."
Most heads then turned in Howie's direction, who had just scratched his own head in an embarrassed nature.
"I would like to express my true feelings, and what better way to do that than song!" Esme stated as she then began strumming up a tune.

As the loving and sweet song came to and end everyone had then clapped for Esme. Someone had then nudged Howie forward, which he glanced back as a couple of people motioned for him to go.
Howie sighed as he walked up to Esme.
"Esme, could I talk to you outside of here?" Howie just asked in a whispher.
Esme smiled excitedly as she nodded, "Of course."
Howiw then led her out of the cafe as whisphers and talking began to pick up again as the two left.
Once outside the door, Howie sighed as he looked at Esme who smiled.
"That was..some song.." Howie began. "It was really good."
"Howie, I made it for you," Esme explained sweetly. "It's just you never seemed to notice that since we met...I've liked you. Howie, your just so smart and compassionate. Maybe a little less smart since you couldn't notice my hints in the first place, but we'll ignore that part."
Howie chuckled nervously at that, "Well Esme, I'm sorry for not noticing all of the hints of you liking me."
"It's okay, as long as you notice now," Esme responded giggly.
"I do notice now, which is why I have to tell you.." Howie began, slowing down as he knew his next few words would shatter her.
"Tell me you like me to? Oh How-"
"That I can't be with you," Howie had cut her off as she was just jumping up to hug him.
Esme then pulled away quickly as if she had just touched a stove "what?!"
Howie could already see the emotion on her face, the happiness draining and her heart sinking in her chest.
"Esme, I had no idea you liked me and If I did, I would have told you, that I couldn't be with you..I'm just not looking for a relationship," Howie admitted, sounding as apologetic as he could. "I'm really sorry, Esme."
Esme just stood there trembling, still processing the situation. "But I made that song for you?" Her voice already seemed to be getting choked up. "All this time Howie I have been trying to do things for you."
Howie took her hands in a comforting way, "I understand, but I just don't feel the same. Esme, I'm sure you'll find someone, but it just won't be me."
Esme just yanked her hands away sharply.
"So you're telling if you knew I liked you sooner then you would have just rejected me," Esme stated as tears now began to run down her face. "..So I was chasing after someone I couldn't have in the first place."
Howie awkwardly stood there for a moment.
"Esme-"
"No!" Esme shouted as she then rushed away. "Howie, I have been chasing after a guy that wouldn't even notice me. And when he does he just rejects me. Do you know how foolish that makes me look?! If you rejected me in the first place then I'd at least not look like a clown! I look stupid!"
Howie sighed as he expected an outburst. People from inside the cafe now had their ears clung against the door to easdrop.
"Esme, you're right, and I can't tell you anything than I'm sorry," Howie responded understandingly.
Esme just stood snifling as she wiped her eyes, somewhat unsure what to say.
"...It's fine, Howie," Esme finally stated as she began walking away. "It's my fault for being such an idiot."

🎸Esme- Esme was seen ripping up her song lyrics. "Sometimes we get what we want.." She said in a choked up voice. "But most times we get what we need, which is a reality check. It was always a fantasy...him being with me never was a reality and..it never was gonna be."

Howie- "Honestly I feel terrible...I really didn't mean to make her think she had a chance with me. Okay that came out wrong, what I mean to say is I didn't want to make it seem like I was open for a relationship, but I guess that's the vibe I was giving?...I didn't mean to hurt Esme like that."

The Reward Challenge 🎯
Both teams had gathered for the reward challenge which was being hosted by Caleb. Although all the attention was on Esme, who hysterically crying as Carter was comforting her. Howie was seen to be staring guitly at the ground.
Caleb was see standing in front of 3 targets. The first was the largest, but it got smaller in size down to the third one which was the smallest.
"Okay.." Caleb glanced uneasily at Esme who was still crying at the moment. "So today's challenge is pretty short and simple. You guys are gonna be throwing things at the targets, attempting to get closest to the center. 3 members will compete. For the largest target you will use an axe. For the medium sized one you will use a bow and arrow. And for the smallest one you'll use a dart. It isn't hard, and the winner will get an advantage in the immunity challenge."
Everyone just nodded their head.
"You guys have a few moments to decide who is doing what," Caleb then told them, as both teams then huddled up to discuss.

💅 Serenna- "We have yet to win a reward challenge, and I am getting tired of it. So this time we better win this one. Plus I want to prove to Mrs Try-hard and Mrs. Cry-hard, that the only reason we're winning is because of MY leadership."

👽Kelvin- "I think with our team being more composed than the other team that has the female who is utilizing her tear glands as a way to express the feeling of melcholy at the fact that the boy she has had interested in does not replicate the same feelings plays a great benefit for us. In simplfied terms, we will wreck them."

💪Ingrid- "What can I say? I told you so! Now she's crying as if I didn't tell her this was gonna happen. Girl we have a challenge to win, and it isn't called who can sound the most like a baby!"

✌Stefan- "Winning this reward challenge means we get an advantage in the immunity challenge. Hence why we really got to win it, bruh."

The Sophisticated Salamanders had selected Kelvin to do the darts, Ryder to do the bow and arrow, and Stefan to do the axe.
The Ambitious Alligators had selected(Well technically Serenna was the one who selected) Serenna to do the darts, Balaam to do the bow and arrow, and Howie to do the axe.
"First up the axes throw with the largest target!" Caleb announced as both Howie and Stefan had then stepped up.
Stefan was going first, which he just got into a posture to throw. Although when he was about to release, the target had then began moving as the rope that could be seen attached to it, was now making it swing side to side.
"Bruh," Stefan just said in complaint. "It thought this was easy?"
"It is easy if you can hit a moving target," Caleb just chimed in as a response.
Stefan then just waited as his eyes followed the target as it glided back and forth.
Finally he threw the axe, but missed just by bit, causing the axe to hit a tree.
"Sorry Stefan, that's 0 points," Caleb stated.
Howie then took a deep breath as he was going next. Howie's strategy was similar to Stefan's, expect he seemed to do a better job of timing it.
Howie had then thrown, but the axe had slipped out of his hand, and went flying at the other contestants.
Luckily they all had scattered to side, expect Esme, who Carter had to quickly pull her over.
"You realize when he said moving targets, he meant the non-living ones," Balaam mocked as he looked at Howie.
"Oops-" Howie just said as he now looked more guitly. "I don't know what's up with me today."
"That's 0 points for both of you. Let's move on to archery with the medium sized target."
Ryder and Balaam both stepped up, which Ryder gave him glare which Balaam returned with a smirk.
"Why so angry? Already know you're losing?" Balaam taunted.
Ryder didn't answer, he just turned away as his face became more determined.
Ryder went up first, but as he stepped up, the target had began moving quickly in a circle.
Ryder didn't wait for too long and threw it too soon, missing the target completely.
"And that's still a 0 for the Sophisticated Salamanders. Let's see if Balaam can at least put the Ambitious Alligators on the score board," Caleb then exclaimed.
Balaam walked up as he cracked his knuckles.
"Watch and learn, shorty," Balaam commented to Ryder, who just glared in response.
Balaam pulled back his bow, making sure he had enough tension in the bowstring.
He then waited and watched the target as it moved. It wasn't until the target had completed 4 cycles, did Balaan finally hit the target as it was moving to the bottom for the 5th time. He managed to hit the target near to the middle.
"And hit," Caleb smiled as he walked over to the target. "Close to center. The center gets you 5 points. You got the first outer ring, so that's 4 points. We'll now move onto the last round, darts."
Kelvin stepped up to go first. As he moved up, the target had begun moving in a tortuous pattern.
Kelvin's eyes though just followed the target as it moved in this complex motion.
He then threw the dart, landing it right in the center.
"Atta boy, Kel! He's on my team!" Gabe cheered, as did the other members.
"That puts the Sophisticated Salamanders on the scoreboard with a score of 5. That leaves Serenna. If she doesn't get at least a one, then the Ambitious Alligators lose," Caleb said, as Serenna prepared to go.
Serenna just looked at the target as it moved in it's elaborate sequence. She tried her best to track it.
"Of course mine's the hardest one.." She muttered to herself as she was preparing to throw.
Serenna finally released the dart, which had actually landed on the target.
"And that's 2 points, meaning the winners are actually..the Ambitious Alligators! Congrats, you guys actually won a reward challenge," Caleb smiled supportively at them.
The Ambitious Alligators all cheered, pretty excited for their first reward win.
"Am I the best leader or what?" Serenna asked as she looked directly at Ingrid and Esme.
The two of them had slight confused looks.
"It's a trick question, there's no answer but yes," Serenna sharply cut them off from answering.
The Sophisticated Salamanders on the other hand, all looked defeated and beat.
Caleb smiled as he then slowly approached the nearest camera. "So will Charlotte's lies bring more drama on the Ambitious Alligators? Will the Salamanders manage to win immunity? Or will we see someone from the friendship of 5 get sent home? And how will Esme go with this heartbreak?(and when will she not go on crying?) Find out after this commercial break!"
