AU - Naruto is Tommy in this Fic

Chapter 1

Her cold eyes look you up and down in every detail of your appearance and demeanor, she's seated on an elegant sofa while crossing her legs, the slit on her dress reveals her thick thighs. Then she speaks, her voice low and controlled, but with a hint of danger.

"And... who might you be?

You have the look of someone with something they wish to discuss. Speak, quickly. I am not a patient woman."

"Sorry Ms. Petra, I only came to library today to do some research for my English Term Paper that is due in two months. I d-didn't mean to disturb you."

She raises an eyebrow slightly, her expression unchanging yet subtly intrigued by your presence. She takes another sip of her tea, her fingers tracing around the delicate cup. After a moment of silence, she responds

"An English term paper, you say? That sounds like quite the challenge. But I suppose it's good to keep one's mind sharp. Very well, stay as long as you need. Just remember, this is a place of work, not play. And don't let me find you misusing our resources."

"Of course, and thanks again." Tommy says, giving Petra a sincere smile.

She nods once, acknowledging your response, her gaze lingering on you for a brief moment longer than usual. It seems like there's a glimmer of curiosity behind those red eyes, but she maintains her cool composure.

"Very well then, continue with your studies. If you require any assistance, feel free to ask. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must attend to other matters."

With that, she stands up from her seat, her movements fluid and graceful, much like her overall demeanor. As she walks past you, her hand brushes against yours ever so lightly, leaving a chill in the air. You can't help but notice the scent of jasmine wafting from her, adding to the enigmatic charm she exudes.

"What a woman." Tommy whispered.

She pauses for a moment, her gaze meeting yours again, her eyes narrowing slightly as if studying you. There's a hint of surprise in her expression, but she quickly regains her composure.

"A woman, indeed. Careful with your words, young man. Remember your position here."

She continues walking towards the exit, her long black hair swaying with each step. Before reaching the door, she turns back to face you.

"Now, focus on your studies. Your time here should be productive, not distracted by... shall we say, 'distractions'. Understand?"

"Y-yes, sorry. Tommy says before walking towards the Computer Lab, not daring to look back at the Russian Goddess.

She watches you leave, her expression unreadable as always. Once you're out of sight, she returns to her office, closing the door behind her. Sitting down at her desk, she picks up her tea cup and takes a sip, lost in thought.

(Thought)

"That boy... He seems intelligent enough, but his lack of discipline bothers me. I hope he understands the gravity of his situation. I cannot afford any mistakes within my organization. Yet, there's something about him... a spark of potential. Perhaps he could be useful in the future."

Petra places her tea cup back on its saucer and leans back in her chair, her fingers steepled together as she contemplates her next move.

Tommy would come to the library early before class and work tirelessly on his term paper, Petra would watch the brunette young man silently from her office with the ghost of a smile on her face.

As Tommy arrived at the library early, Petra's gaze falls upon him from her office window. She observes him for a few moments, taking note of his dedication to his studies. Her lips curve into a subtle smile, a rare display of emotion from her usually stoic facade.

"Ah, our ambitious student. I see you've taken my advice to heart. That's commendable."

She rises from her seat and steps into the library, her footsteps echoing softly through the quiet space. Approaching Tommy she stops just a few feet away, her eyes locked onto his.

"I trust your studies have been going well? Don't hesitate to seek my assistance if needed. After all, it's important to excel in your field."

Her voice remains calm and collected, yet there's a hint of warmth beneath the surface that catches Tommy off guard.

"Oh, good morning, Ms. Petra, I hope you are well today?"

She raises an eyebrow at Tommy's sudden formality, but maintains her elegant demeanor.

"Good morning, Mr. Tommy," she replies coolly. "Your progress has been satisfactory thus far. However, remember that complacency leads to stagnation. Keep pushing yourself to improve."

Tommy nods. "Ms. Petra, could you look at my rough draft of my paper and proofread it for me?"

She looks at him with a hint of surprise, then her expression turns neutral once more.

"Very well, Mr. Tommy. I shall take a look at your draft. But remember, I am not here to coddle you. My feedback might be harsh, so be prepared."

Without another word, she turns around and walks back to her office, leaving Tommy alone once again. He takes this opportunity to gather his thoughts and make any last-minute adjustments to his paper before presenting it to her.

"I understand completely, Ms. Petra, I am not looking to be coddled."

Turning back towards him she offers a slight nod.

"Good. Then let us proceed. Bring me your work and we shall begin."

"So, what did you think, Ms. Petra?"

She takes a moment to skim through your paper, her eyes scanning each line carefully. After a few moments, she speaks.

"Your research is thorough, Mr. Tommy. Your arguments are solid and your evidence supports them well. However, there are some areas where your language could be improved for clarity."

She points out several instances where your sentences are convoluted or unclear, offering suggestions for rephrasing. Despite these criticisms, her tone remains calm and collected, emphasizing the importance of precision in academic writing.

"Remember, Mr. Tommy, the key to good writing is not just about expressing ideas clearly, but also about doing so concisely and effectively. This makes your argument easier to follow and strengthens its impact."

Once she finishes reviewing your paper, she hands it back to you with a small smile.

"This is a good start, Mr. Tommy. Continue to refine your skills and keep pushing yourself to improve."

"Thank you for your honesty, Ms. Petra, I will follow your advice."

Her gaze lingers on the younger man for a moment, as if appraising him.

"I appreciate your dedication, Mr. Tommy. Remember, practice makes perfect. Keep working hard and never stop learning."

She offers a subtle nod, then turns to walk back to her desk, giving you a brief glimpse of her lithe figure under the black dress. As she sits down, she continues speaking over her shoulder.

"If you need further assistance or guidance, don't hesitate to ask. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have other matters to attend to."

With that, she resumes her usual stoic demeanor, typing away on her computer while Tommy collects his things and prepares to leave.

"Um Ms. Petra, have you had breakfast yet?"

Her head tilts slightly to the side as she looks up from her computer screen, her red eyes studying you intently.

"Breakfast, Mr. Tommy?"

she repeats slowly, her voice laced with curiosity.

"Why would you ask such a personal question?"

Despite her direct gaze, there's no hint of hostility in her tone. Instead, it seems more like she's genuinely interested in understanding why he asked.

As she continues to watch Tommy, her expression remains composed and unreadable, reflecting her cool and collected nature. You sense that beneath her elegant exterior lies a sharp mind and a keen intuition, always alert to any potential threats or opportunities.

After a moment of silence, she leans back in her chair, her fingers drumming lightly against the armrest.

"However,"

she adds,

"if you wish to discuss breakfast options, I am open to hearing your recommendations. But remember, my time is valuable and so is yours. Make it worthwhile."

"I was going to go to the cafeteria for my morning cream cheese bagel and was just wondering if I could bring you some coffee or something, I wasn't implying any kind of romantic intentions or anything like that, sorry for not making that clear at the start." Tommy said, the sadness evident in his voice and posture.

He then turns, gathered his things and left the library.

Tommy turns his Term Paper in early and got an A on the paper, though he was happy about that, Tommy felt like something was missing and he didn't have a clue what it was.

Meanwhile, Petra is beginning to miss Tommy, though she wouldn't admit it. His optimistic attitude was starting to wear off on the Librarian.

"I will go and check on Mr. Tommy."

Tommy begins to bury himself in assignments and projects, working himself to exhaustion. Petra goes to his dorm room and finds Tommy shirtless and passed out on his bed.

Her eyes soften, a hint of concern etched on her usually stern features. She steps closer to you, her movements gentle and deliberate, as if to ensure she doesn't startle you awake.

"Mr. Tommy,"

she calls out softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Reaching down, she gently touches your shoulder, giving it a light squeeze.

"Your dedication is admirable, but please don't push yourself too hard. It's important to maintain balance in all aspects of life."

Leaning down, she brushes a strand of sweat-dampened hair from your forehead, her touch cool and comforting against your hot skin.

"You've made great strides recently, and I believe in your potential. But remember, true strength lies not in endurance alone, but in wisdom and self-care."

As she speaks, she straightens up, her hand still resting on your shoulder, offering reassurance and support.

"Rest now, Mr. Tommy. We'll discuss further when you're ready."

With that, she withdraws her hand from his shoulder.

"M-Ms. Petra? What are you doing in my dorm room?" asked Tommy.

A slight blush creeps into her cheeks, her eyes briefly dropping to the floor before returning to meet Tommy's.

"I came to check on your progress, Mr. Tommy. As your mentor, it's my responsibility to ensure your well-being."

She pauses, her gaze lingering on his face, studying every detail as if trying to read his thoughts.

"Besides, I wanted to see firsthand how dedicated you truly are to your studies. Your determination is... inspiring."

Stepping back, she turns to leave, her movements graceful and fluid.

"Remember, my door is always open if you need any assistance or advice. Now, get some rest, Mr. Tommy. We have much to cover tomorrow."

Before Tommy can respond, she disappears through the doorway, leaving him staring after her in surprise. Despite her intimidating reputation, there's a vulnerability in her expression that leaves Tommy feeling both confused and intrigued.

"OK, that was... weird." Tommy said.

After showering and dressing, Tommy leaves his bedroom to find Petra doing some light dusting and straightening the cushions on the couch.

Tommy was stunned to see this.

Sensing his presence, Petra turns gracefully and faces the perplexed brunette.

Nodding understandingly, she takes a step back, allowing Tommy space.

"Of course, Mr. Tommy. Take all the time you need. Remember, your health comes first."

As he stepped out of the room, she watched him go, her gaze lingering for a moment before she turns back inside. Tommy can hear her humming a soft melody as she goes about tidying up your room, a sign that she finds the task enjoyable rather than a burden.

"I can't get a read on Ms. Petra, while I find her both drop-dead sexy and mysterious, I can't risk having my heart broken again... Not after Rebecca and Monica". Tommy said solemnly.

Petra stopped what she was doing when she heard Tommy's words.

'Tommy's heart was broken by two women? I should be there for him. ' Petra thought to herself, quickly coming to the conclusion that she would help Tommy overcome his heartache.
