There is a world of superstition, a world of monsters and magic…
It was older than the world we know now, older than humanity, older than time and space, existing long before life and death. The first world, they would call it. H.P. Lovecraft was able to peak the world not meant for the eyes of human beings and was driven made at what he learned. The author of the macabre and strange renamed the Monsters in the Dark who shaped the world by violence and was eventually killed by their children. These children are monsters from folklore that we all know from stories and media… dragons, werewolves, witches, naga, undead, demons, angels, fairies, Ogres, Goblins, chimeras, harpies, sirens, Yokai, yetis… vampires. Back then, I too thought it was nothing more than a myth…
The Heart of the Abyss…
Underneath a city of sin on a forsaken island lay another world beyond the comprehension of man, a utopia for monsters.
At the heart of this gothic city of darkness and terror, yet beauty and intrigue was a massive castle made from a black meteorite that fell long ago, surrounded by a bottomless pit. This castle was held by a rock formation that appeared to be a hand with long black talons. Any who saw this would tremble in fear and respect at this sight… Yet, a small group of humans were making their way to this nightmarish-fantasy-like castle, being led by men in funeral clothing and blood-red jewelry. The humans were cloaked as a sign of respect, looking around as they heard the songs of the creatures.
"Unde este sângele meu?" Sung Sister of Mud.
"Ca lipitoarea lacului." Sung Fratele Blake.
"El doar minte." Sung Sister Fallcry.
"Atunci vorbește copacilor." Sung Fratele Haggy.
"Copacii nu vorbesc". Sung Părinte Bleak.
"Atunci du-te la mare." Sung Episcop de Trei.
"Amintirile mării s-au pierdut". Sung Regele Albatrosului.
"Mi-am găsit sângele." Sung Sister of Mud.

"My, a creepy song…" A man whispered a little in fright.
"Just a little fledgling nursery rhyme. I think of all people, you would be the ones who would love this song." A vampire chuckled darkly as the people kept moving.

Inside the Black Castle…
A woman was humming the nursery rhyme as she watched from a black mirror, a salesman. A simple little nothing from Japan that no one would actually ever see. Even his parents would not see him but… she sees him. Oh yes, this is it. This man was a special one.
"Okajima Rokurō, the Rock… hmmm, I haven't seen a human like this once for a very, very long time. I have dreams of this one, what he can become, what I can make him, what he can do this world and for the First World…" The woman on the throne marveled as there were two futures for this young man.
"Ah… I see you have found another Candidate of Dracula… the one who could create worlds…" A male voice commented.
"Or destroy them… Yes, he is the candidate." She marveled, her talons caressing the image with delight at the human.
"Miss. Fortune, your guests are here." A servant informed as the people gathered on her throne and kneeled.
Her grin glistened like moonlight.
"I see you have all come to make a deal with me." Miss. Fortune questioned.
"Yes… I know the Russian; Balalaika offers her service to you. But we can offer something even better-." He choked on his words.
"Enough, there is no reason for you both to grovel at my feet for power. You humans are all alike. Every time you stare into the darkness, you blink. Really, it is pretty funny watching you lot be as terrified as a fresh fledgling." The woman mocked, "Though, at least the burnt woman had her decorum, even though I could spell her greed for my… goods from across the room."
"She-she may act like a tough bitch, but she is nothing-!"
The woman hissed like a demon as her eyes turned red and her fangs were shown! The humans trembled at her fearsome presence.
"You want the power? Then prove yourselves. The test will begin soon. Whoever completes this mission, and brings forth the treasure will win my favor."
The man bowed with his men.
"I will get the disk to your talons! I promise."
They were then escorted out.
"I never said I wanted the disk… maybe the female will…"
