This was mostly inspired by the AI intros that OddgiantAF has been doing on YouTube, just with my own humorous twist. My first take on a one shot as well…so let's get weird xD.

A BornVillain5150 Short….

Bi-Han Starts A Mosh Pit

Lin Kuei Temple

Earthrealm

It should have been just like any other day at the Lin Kuei temple. Smoke and Scorpion spent their time honing their craft together, many of the members of the clan were training or going about their daily tasks, while Sub Zero oversaw it all. However, it was not just like any other day.

Most of the time, Bi-Han spent his time silently watching his clan as they went about their duties. But on this day, no one had seen Bi-Han all day. Not once.

Tomas and Kuai Liang both noticed this in between their sparring sessions, and it wasn't just them. If Bi-Han hadn't yelled at someone at least once, then for the clan, it was considered a rather strange day. And both of them had noticed this. Even more strange, was that this had been happening over the course of the last two days.

"I wonder what's going on with Bi-Han. He hasn't been seen all day, or since yesterday," Smoke said. Kuai sighed as he sharpened his kunai.

"I believe he has been spending most of his time in fathers study, quite literally studying. The question is…what?" He said. Tomas shrugged, but their attention was broken up by one of their fellow ninja's, Sektor.

"Hey, don't know if you've heard, but some of the other clan members have been reporting loud music coming from the grandmasters room," Sektor said, and even he looked confused.

Both Smoke and Scorpion traded looks, and said nothing. Sektor knew what their looks meant as they both made their way over to where their brother had been isolating himself.

When they reached the door, Kuai immediately raised an eyebrow, gesturing his head at the door to Smoke.

Sektor was telling the truth. Bi-Han was indeed playing music in the study, and the music that was playing was indeed quite odd.

"Are you hearing this?" Scorpion said, and he was almost trying to hold back his laughter. Smoke scratched his head. He was right, the music that was playing sounded way too upbeat given Bi-Han's awful temper.

"One can only wonder what is going on through his head," Smoke snickered a little. Scorpion then chuckled and knocked on the door. Within the seconds, the music stopped.

"Yeah?"

"Bi-Han? It's your brothers!" Scorpion shouted. There was a slight bump in the room before Sub Zero spoke up again.

"Uh…come on in! And lock the door behind you!" He shouted. The duo didn't take very long to enter and closed the door behind them. Smoke locked the door, and immediately removed his mask.

"What's going on Bi-Han? Why all the secrecy?" Tomas asked.

Sub Zero stood behind his desk, or rather, what was once his fathers desk. And before his brothers, sat a record player. It did not look that old, but it still was not exactly what any of them considered modern. It seemed very standard for an old school record player, much like what their father would like. Even stranger…they didn't even know that he owned a record player. BI-Han simply placed his hands behind his back and sighed.

"Father was definitely a man of many secrets. But I did not expect him to own one of these…" Sub Zero was just as confused as his brothers.

"How do you even know how to use this thing, much less use it?" Kuai asked. Bi-Han scoffed.

"One of the few benefits of hanging out with Johnny Cage for a tournament," he shivered. Even the thought of socializing with Cage put an ugly taste in his mouth. But try as he might to avoid the Hollywood star, the two somehow got along better than most.

"Ain't that something. So…father liked music? Specifically Earthrealm music?" Smoke leaned back in his chair. Sub Zero nodded as he eyed one of the many records on the wall.

"Indeed. And a wide variety at that. Many of these records vary in….style…if you can even call it that," he replied. The record on the desk in particular had his attention, even if he looked rather annoyed with it. Scorpion seemed to notice, and even he frowned.

"Good grief brother…who's Maroon 5? And what is this album name it appears…Songs About Jane? This looks ridiculous," Kuai bemoaned. This time however, Bi-Han's normal scowl turned into a rather sadistic looking grin.

"If you think the cover is bad, have a listen to this," Sub Zero then pressed play on the record player. The song in question that was playing was one of the album's singles, that being 'This Love'. The song was pop rock, but neither of the brothers knew that as both Bi-Han and Kuai Liang listened in confusion. Oddly enough, Smoke was bobbing his head to the rhythm, and both Sub Zero and Scorpion noticed this.

"You're kidding me right," Kuai Liang balked. Smoke threw his hands in the air in defense.

"Hey! It's catchy!" Tomas cried. Normally, Bi-Han would make fun of his younger adopted brother. However this time, he did not. Instead, he was rather intrigued.

"Interesting…" he noted. Scorpion then facepalmed.

"Oh my holy god…" He groaned. Sub Zero's grin then returned as he then moved on two tracks, to the biggest single on the album, 'She Will Be Loved'. Sub Zero oddly found himself nodding to the slow, yet oddly catchy rhythm. The lyrics also appeared to strike a chord in Kuai, obviously given his relationship with Harumi.

"Granted, you never had to wait for Harumi in the rain eh?" Bi-Han teased. Scorpion felt his face turn red.

"At least she will be loved…." Kuai said meekly in his defense. By that point, Smoke had started laughing, and even Sub Zero was chuckling. Scorpion had his head in his hands in embarrassment.

"Can we please play something else…" He groaned. Bi-Han chuckled and decided to switch records, looking at a pair of them on his desk.

"Hmph….Sybreed….sounds interesting. This 'Slave Design' album reminds me of the idea father had for a potential cyber initiative…if they were done by a fool," Bi Han said. Smoke shrugged.

"Plug it in! Let's hear it!" He said as he grabbed some tea. The opening track 'Bioactive' started playing not soon afterward, and as soon as the guitar's kicked in, the brothers were all enjoying themselves. It wasn't until they got to one of the more popular songs on the album in 'Decoy' that they were actively headbanging.

"I must say, father did have good taste," Sub Zero said with a smirk. Scorpion meanwhile, was doing the windmill.

"There's got to be something heavier here? These guys are fantastic!" Both Bi-Han and Tomas were scrummaging through the collection, trying to find albums that appeared heavy. The search took them a long while, but they managed to find plenty of great albums. Ranging from deathcore to even nu-metal, the brothers were essentially partying in the room and doing their own take on a mosh pit for the remainder of the day.

At one point, when Kuai started playing Limp Bizkit's 'Nookie', both he and Tomas were singing the lyrics back and forth to each other like they were actually on stage, while Bi-Han sat there laughing the entire time. While all of this was going on, the other clan members sometimes stood outside the door in confusion. Cyrax couldn't help but wonder himself why it sounded like the big three in the Lin Kuei were barricaded in the grandmasters room acting like drunken buffoons.

By the time the sun had set, all three of them were wiped out on the floor, and partially drunk from a backup stash of wine that Bi-Han was secretly keeping hidden. Tomas looked up and removed the album that was covering his face, that being King 810's debut 'Memoirs of a Murderer' record.

"Bro….you know what would be great? What if we got the whole clan to hear this stuff? Maybe everyone would feel less tense," Smoke suggested. Bi-Han, who was busy eyeballing the lyrics of Emmure's song 'Flag Of The Beast' , frowned.

"I don't know, how would it look if the Grandmaster was headbanging like a complete moron in front of the whole clan?" He said. Kuai simply shrugged beneath the stack of records that was on top of him.

"To be fair, the three of us have had the stereo cranked for several hours. Most of the clan has probably heard it by now. What is there to worry about?" Sub Zero then thought about it for a few minutes, before throwing the album booklet on the floor.

"Alright then. As that fool Johnny would probably say…. 'Lets get weird'".

The Next Day….

Sub Zero, Smoke, and Scorpion both stood before the Lin Kuei, many of whom weren't in uniform as Bi-Han had allowed them to be a little more laid back on this day. Sektor was the first to speak up, as he had no idea what was going on, even though he was more aware of the loud music that was playing all night.

"Care to tell us what this is all about Grandmaster?" He asked, scratching his head. Bi-Han had a rather devilish looking grin on his face. It didn't help that it looked like both Smoke and Scorpion were both grinning like idiots under their masks.

"We're gonna have a little fun. I take it most of you are aware of the…shenanigans going on in my office last night," Bi-Han started. By now, many of the other ninjas were chuckling.

"Alright, that's enough. I managed to…uh…borrow Cage's sound system for this occasion," He continued. Smoke nearly bust a gut.

"I thought you said you paid Reptile to steal it and then left him a note?" He laughed. Now, the whole clan was laughing. Bi-Han facepalmed.

"Should I at least get the music going? I take it you all know what a mosh pit is, yes?" The other ninja looked around, and all nodded. The grandmaster then cracked his knuckles.

"Excellent," he then punched the play button, playing 'Viking' from Slaughter To Prevail. As the intro built up, most of the ninjas were already getting ready for a mosh. Once the guitars hit and the song went into full gear, they were all moshing in the training area. Bi-Han crossed his arms and smirked, pleased with his efforts already one song in.

"Well that did not take long," Scorpion said, chuckling. Tomas looked at his oldest brother and his eyes lit up.

"I could get a wall of death going down there if you'd like once the breakdown kicks in," he suggested. Sub Zero clapped his hands, pleased.

"That's brilliant!" He then jumped down and he too started moshing with his clan. Everyone followed the basic rules of course; if someone fell, you picked them up and so on. Once the breakdown started to prepare, Sub Zero let loose an ice blast to break up the crowd.

"Alright! When the drums and heavy screams kick in, everyone run at each other! This is the wall of death!" He shouted. Scorpion and Smoke were both directing traffic as they sent the clan to two separate corners of the training area, while Bi-Han stood in the middle, a glorious smile on his face.

"Yeah….this is the good life," he said to himself as the breakdown finally kicked in. And at that moment, both corners ran at each other and moshed like they never had before. To say that it was chaos at the Lin Kuei compound was an understatement. Even at Madam Bo's restaurant, they could hear the music. Kung Lao and Raiden both traded looks when they heard another deathcore song.

"I think Johnny gave Sub Zero his sound system. But where on earth did he figure out what deathcore was?" Kung Lao said. Raiden shook his head as he took a sip of his water.

"I don't know, and I don't think I want to know," he replied. Pretty soon, he noticed a defective smoke bomb from Smoke land right next to him, alongside a rather large shard of ice, followed by what sounded like Bi-Han hollering like a party animal. By that point, they both facepalmed.

"Yeah….he did it," Raiden said. And they didn't even need to say it out loud, because saying it out loud sounded even more ridiculous.

Bi Han started a mosh pit. And the elder gods have mercy on anyone who got involved in a mosh pit with the Lin Kuei.

Yes…this was definitely ridiculous. But I definitely enjoyed writing this one shot, so I might actually write some more goofy stories like this in the future. Cheer's everyone!
