Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 108: Shouting To The Heavens.
About a slew of 35 days has passed ever since Victoryjump and his commando squadron have been brought to the Autobot base, ever since Arcee was imprisoned for breaking protocol just to settle scores, and ever since the Autobot femme younglings escaped from captivity aboard the Nemesis and faced down Megatron, only to emerge victorious despite his proficiency in gladitorial combat and specific styles of Cybertronian martial arts.
Within those eight hundred and forty hours, Victoryjump's trial was put into practice: the Autobot forces chose to start interrogations at the start of the next week and a half, so that way, everyone would be able to get used to the changes that just happened before progressing further.
And thus, they had more than a few more days to get used to the new changes before the interrogations were ready to begin.
Unfortunately, the day in which the trial was to be finished was still unknown, as even Fortressimus Prime didn't know when it should end.
The humans and techno-organics still hadn't been at the base in any case, as they had work and school to worry about.
Of course, Angelica was the only one who knew what was going on, as she lived in the base and also because she could tell that none of the Autobots were good liars, and she scolded them for even thinking that they could try to lie to her, even if it was for a "good" reason. But she knew that Fortressimus Prime in particular was an extremist about telling the truth except in the event of being an enemy's prisoner.
Whenever the humans and techno-organics were at the base, on the other hand, Fortressimus and the others covered up any trace of Victoryjump's presence from them, and they always made sure not to bring it up or offer any input on the kids' theories about who they brought to the base.
The Autobots all knew that they eventually had to tell them about Victoryjump, but they didn't even know how or when they would have to inform them about Ironspan's clone being recruited under a trial.
But they did know that the time to tell them would come sooner or later, regardless of whether or not they willingly tell them.
The next week and a half soon came to pass, and as the days came to pass, the Autobots talked to him about any of the Energon mines he still remembered while they were fresh in his memory banks.
And they also brought him an Energon cube from the Energon Storage Vaults to get him to lighten up.
He was also thankful for the Autobots, particularly Ratchet, Fortressimus, and Optimus, being able to determine what he needed and what he didn't need for the time being.
The new Aerialbot was thrilled to notify the Autobots about every big, medium, extra big, small, and extra small Energon deposit and Energon mine he knew about, and because of this, the Autobots moved out to reprogram every Decepticon Miner and Vehicon Trooper of every vehicle type to stop them from accelerating the time it took to mine the Energon before blowing up the rest of it.
And if any of that didn't work, Fortressimus managed to use his time travel and time manipulation abilities to ensure that such efforts to stop the Autobots from increasing their Energon stores would never bear fruit.
Of course, Forcescream asked Fortressimus if Victoryjump could accompany them on the Energon raids, and Fortressimus accepted, reasoning that because Victoryjump had wing clamps and stasis cuffs on him, he couldn't transform to fly away or access his weapons, and because Forcescream and Fortressimus were capable of flight, even if the soon-to-be new Autobot Aerialbot had broken free of his restraints, the chances of him escaping to the Nemesis or to another Energon mine that they don't know about were slimming to zero.
To Victoryjump's satisfaction and the Autobots' shock, he didn't even attempt to escape or attempt to betray the Autobots.
Of course, even though the Decepticons did come prepared for this, they still didn't come prepared for Fortressimus Prime's ability to travel through and manipulate the course and flow of time for himself, for everyone in his friend circle, and against everyone he hates. And because of this, the Autobots managed to not only drastically increase their ranks by more than 600 to more than 6,000, but they also managed to increase their Energon stores.
But of course, Megatron simply resorted to increasing the ranks of his Miners and other troops as well as the Energon cubes in the Nemesis' Energon Storage Vault and Power Core Room by using his ship's cloning machines and Matter Duplicators many times in a row before eventually having to cool them down and refuel them, but that only served to force Fortressimus Prime and Corvowing Prime to unleash their full Mini-Con armies on the drones that either avoided being reprogrammed or who took too long to be fully reprogrammed or who naturally resisted being reprogrammed due to their Decepticon programming codes being reinforced by Soundwave.
On the other hand, this didn't deter the two Primes or their Mini-Cons, as they stepped things up, secretly with the Forge of Solus Prime being used to supernaturally increase their powers and their weapons.
Meanwhile, within the void of space, a Cybertronian ship flew throughout the solar system before making its way to Earth.
And on this ship was an assortment of seventy-three multi-colored Decepticon Seekers, each of them being Air Defender, Air Attacker, Skyraider, Sky Thieving, Interceptor, Pursuer, Energon Seeker, Stalker, Retaliator, Guardian, Arclight, Protector, Assaulter, Vanguard, Skymaster, Defender, Hunter, Tyrant, Pest, Elite, Wingman, Jurassic, Buzz, Stinger, Silent Seeker, Bullet Rider, Net Breaker, Spark Smasher, Part Breaker, Fighter, and Laser Escorter class Scientists similar to Silverbolt, Air Raid, Slingshot, Skydive, Fireflight, Jetfire, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, and the various other flight frames on Cybertron, including vehicle versions of the flying Insecticons Sharpshot and Kickback.
The lead Seeker's glowing, pale red optics looked from one screen to the next two as he had the ship fly to Earth.
His purple, red, blue, and white paint job shined because of the lights inside his ship, and also the stars he passed and the glare of the Sun.
The Seeker's mood soon turned downward as his ship's main computer said, "Alert: Energon supply low. Attempts to use Matter Duplicators to reenergize Energon reserves: failed. System power down immediate."
The mech at the height of Megatron ex-vented, as he knew it was going to happen; he was prided as one of the smartest Decepticons in practically every scientific and militaristic field, not like Shockwave or Ironspan.
And now that he had no Energon to refuel his ship, he decided to set course for Earth, as it was the only planet in the solar system seeded to the brim with Energon.
As he ordered the ship's pilots to make a course to the planet, one of the other bright and dark colored Seekers says, "Doublecone, we've detected millions of Decepticon life signals on Earth, and the frequency signal of the Nemesis!"
Doublecone smirks as he remarks, "Excellent. Continue to Earth."
But while the ship was entering Earth's orbit, the leftover Energon reserves finally dried out.
Then, the ship began to plummet at a fast rate of speed as it burned upon contact with Earth's atmosphere.
Doublecone then says, "Everyone, brace for impact!"
Then, the ship hits the ground hard, skidding among the ground, digging up organic plant life and pushing aside anything that would box it in, like trees and other kinds of big plants.
The ship came to a stop five seconds later.
After evaluating the damage, Doublecone says aloud before saying, "Looks like our ship needs lots of big repairs if it's ever going to fly again. Aerial Lethal Assault Task Force, send out a distress signal to the Nemesis, and beware of any Autobots!"
His Seekers manage to do just that.
Doublecone then says, "Classified Cyclone Retaliation Team, salvage what we could find for later use if we ever get onboard the Nemesis."
The three hundred and twenty additional Decepticons went to work.
Meanwhile, in the Autobot base, Miko exclaims, "Are all of you crazy?!"
Fortressimus replies coldly, much to Miko's fear, "No, we are not crazy. And even if we were literally crazy, that would imply we share the same mental instability that results in loss of sanity, especially including causes like super soldier drug overuse or going through too many traumatic experiences in just 30 days or more than 30 days."
Julith replies, "That's not the point, Peter; you just can't be that serious. You're letting one of Ironspan's clones stay in the base?"
Fortressimus replies back, "It was either that, or let him go rogue for a whole season, thereby allowing him to discover the Harbinger and any leftover protoforms to use to make his own army of clones, only to go on to cause us trouble in the search for the Apex Armor and the last supplies of Red Energon, and then progressively work towards stealing the Omega Keys to offer to Megatron in exchange for the opportunity to return to the Decepticons."
Rafael asks, "Um, real quick, what's Red Energon?"
Forcescream answers, "An extremely rare and volatile form of Energon which is red in color. When it's refined into liquid fuel, it gives a Cybertronian robot or Cybertronian spaceship the power to travel at hyper speed. But the amount of time it takes for a Cybertronian or a Transformer spaceship to travel at hyper speed varies depending on the amount of Red Energon is used in doses. For example, if eight of our troops were going on a mission to raid loot from the Nemesis, especially including relics of the Primes, Decepticon weaponry of mass destruction, and even the Decepticons' Energon supplies from their Energon Storage Vaults, each member of said squadron would only have the ability to travel at hyper speed for three minutes before the Red Energon's effects wear off."
Artemesio adds, "And because Red Energon is as rare as Dark Energon used to be before Megatron conquered Trypticon Orbital Station and before he came back to Earth with a large Dark Energon crystal he found in the Andromeda galaxy, nobody in our ranks who is Cybertron-native has seen Red Energon in almost a hundred years."
The kids and others remark in unison, "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..." "Whoa..."
June then points out, "But what if the Decepticons learn of our base's location earlier than the original timeline had planned? Or if Victoryjump does attempt to escape and rejoin Megatron, also earlier than the original timeline had planned?"
Silverimus Prime answers, "Victoryjump has made himself crystal clear that he wanted nothing more to do with the Decepticons. Of course, none of us knows for sure because none of us have ever experienced the downsides of being one of Megatron's lieutenants or being a Decepticon overall for the entire course of this war, with a select few exceptions in those like X-Gunner."
X-Gunner adds, "It's true. Any Decepticon under Megatron's command who fails a mission, no matter their rank, immediately becomes the target of harsh punishments which include Energon withdrawal, being confined to your quarters for a set amount of time, being forced to do maintenance and janitorial duties for a set amount of time without a break, and even getting beaten into guacamole. And some of those punishments also apply to any Decepticon who tries to overthrow Megatron as leader of the Decepticons, including some alternate universe and Transformers Prime fanfiction versions of Galavar, aka Beast Wars Predacon Megatron without his dinosaur beast mode, former Robots in Disguise 2015 Decepticon General Stockade currently imprisoned aboard the Alchemor Autobot prison ship for attempting to stage a military coup against Megatron, and Doomsday Marshal, the leader of the Decepticon Resource Exploitation Taskforce from the Chinese Transformers Online video game from the Quadwal cluster."
The humans and Cybertron-native Autobots looked at each other, only to see that the others have heard X-Gunner correctly.
Kingclaw adds further, "And besides that, because Victoryjump wants to be on our side, we gave him a Trial of Trust to prove his worth, and so far, he's made superb progress. Especially since we found another Decepticon cargo transport ship similar to the Harbinger called the Omen Signaler."
Vaingain adds, "And due to this, we also further upgraded our equipment and increased our ranks even further with not only clones brought to life by using sparkless protoforms, but also varying numbers of additional Autobots using the sparkless protoforms given portions of our sparks to give them life without being related to us in any way possible. names. But that's only for the amount of personnel in those Autobot, Decepticon, Maximal, and Predacon subgroups. In reality, the new Autobots have new kinds of designs thanks to Ratchet programming their design schematic commands into the computer terminal for each of their frames. And along with that, a big portion of our new recruits also look like various established Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons, Neutrals, Generation 2 Decepticons, and so forth with opposite color paint jobs, opposite vehicle modes, and opposite names all rolled into one, making them various kinds of twin siblings and cousins."
Scoutjet adds further, "But back on track, the other Decepticons aboard the Nemesis are still unaware of our base's coordinates, especially because Victoryjump's life signal vanished from the Nemesis' scanners and from its frequencies the instant he entered our base thanks to our unified shielding that combines the original shielding of our base with the shielding of our base at the present time, the shielding of the Harbinger while it was inactive, the shielding of the Nemesis, and the shielding of Shadow Raker's ship."
Miko, on the other hand, looked like she was going to ask something important.
Miko eventually asks, "So, why keep Victoryjump in here, knowing what he would've done to me in that empty Energon mine like in the original timeline if I hadn't been able to attend Slash Monkey's only stateside concert and if you guys hadn't gotten yourselves out of there in time?"
Bulkhead replies, "We don't like this any more than you do, Miko, but there's nothing we have to do about it except let this trial of trust continue without a hitch. Besides, based on what Forcescream says, Victoryjump will pass the trial without much complaint, something I would have to see for myself to make me a believer."
Optimus then says, "I believe you will be surprised, Bulkhead. And Fortressimus says that aside from his time as Megatron's second in command, Victoryjump has a habit of needing to prove himself useful. At the present time, he has indeed proven himself to be a trustworthy ally by giving us a helping hand on the battlefield and providing for us the coordinates to Energon mines all across the globe."
Elita One questions, "Even though the Decepticons almost got to the mines first no matter what Megatron tries to counter Fortressimus' powers?"
Optimus answers, "Yes, even though the Decepticons almost get to the mines first no matter what methods Megatron attempts to use to counter Fortressimus' powers."
Before anyone can say anything else, the sensors alerted the Autobots to a detected signal.
Ratchet looks at it and says, "Optimus, I'm picking up an emergency beacon."
Optimus answers, "Is it an Autobot emergency beacon or a Decepticon one?"
Ratchet answers, "I have no idea. The scanners are taking too long to – wait. It's a Decepticon emergency beacon."
Optimus looks at Fortressimus, Artemesio, Blowwolf, and Forcescream in particular.
Optimus asks, "Did either of you know about this in particular?"
Blowwolf answers first, "The pilot of the Decepticon ship is a Decepticon Seeker commander and lieutenant by the name of Doublecone, a lookalike of Megatron's valuable Seeker lieutenant from the Great War by the name of Cyclonus."
Artemesio adds, "Apparently, Doublecone's ship ran out of Energon while attempting to rendezvous with the Nemesis, and thus crashed on Earth."
Forcescream also adds, "And Doublecone is being accompanied by three hundred and ninety-three other Decepticon Seekers, seventy-three of who possibly make up the Seeker squadron that Cyclonus used to be in charge of and the three hundred and twenty other kinds of Decepticons consist of Decepticon soldiers who transform into all other manner of military vehicles."
Fortressimus adds further, "And Cyclonus' former Seeker team by the code name of the Aerial Lethal Assault Team and Doublecone's Classified Cyclone Retaliation Unit are among the most dangerous Decepticon army members in this universal cluster's history. They share many traits of the trademark famous Autobot Aerialbots, Decepticon Seekers, Autobot Soldier Tanks, Decepticon Soldier Tanks, Autobot Titan Tanks, and Decepticon Titan Tanks known to the people of the Quadwal cluster, but with very few of their traditional weaknesses. So therefore, because of how dangerous the Classified Cyclone Retaliation Unit and the Aerial Lethal Assault Team really are, I strongly recommend we use a big portion of our forces, including the Iron Legion, to take out any additional Decepticons and hopefully take Doublecone's units prisoner."
Optimus nods before saying, "Autobots, prepare to roll out! And members of the Iron Legion, summon your battle suits. We will need the additional firepower and numbers for this mission."
Victoryjump comes in, escorted by Sandshaker as he asks, "Got room for one more?"
Optimus replies, "Of course, Victoryjump. Come."
The members of the Iron Legion summon their battle suits and they fly through the Space Bridge portal after the Autobots in their vehicle and beast modes.
Upon arriving, the Autobots transformed back to robot mode and readied their weapons.
The members of the Iron Legion kept flying, but they also activated their weapons.
Fortressimus advises, "Autobots, Iron Legion, be on guard; the Decepticons aboard the Nemesis will have detected the emergency beacon and our life signals by now. And knowing Doublecone, he's exactly like the Robots in Disguise 2015 Cyclonus having matured to the point where he wouldn't turn tailpipe and run when the fan hits the blades of a helicopter, so whatever you do, don't get shot at and don't get webbed if Sky Haul and Blastwind accompany the Decepticon reinforcements as we remember. And knowing Megatron, he'll have had some of his multiplying Vehicons accompanying the additional Decepticon reinforcements, so whatever you do, remain out of the Decepticons' crosshairs, look left, look right, watch your backs, and don't get too close if your onboard battle computers detect an incoming grab or counterattack. Expect extreme resistance. Understood?"
Titanium Speeder replies, "Copy that."
War Force replies as well, "Understood, captain."
The Autobot forces approach the crashed, damaged spaceship while making sure to keep a lookout for automated weapons and booby traps.
Suddenly, the sound of a door opening let out, and the Autobots trained their weapons on the open door.
Then, Doublecone and his Aerial Lethal Assault Team and his Classified Cyclone Retaliation Unit stepped out, and the Autobot forces were in shock as they saw for themselves that Fortressimus, Forcescream, Blowwolf, and Artemesio were right.
Victoryjump, Forcescream, Blowwolf, and Ironspan whispered in unified surprise, "(Softly) Doublecone..." "(Softly) Doublecone..." "(Softly) Doublecone..." "(Softly) Doublecone..."
Doublecone smirks evilly as he remarks while eyeing the Autobots and the armored humans, "Autobots. Apparently, the Decepticons were not actually the only ones who navigated their path to this planet. And I see a multitude of humans have apparently manufactured the same type of battle suits in different colors and arsenals to join this war."
Optimus and Fortressimus order sternly one after the other, "Doublecone, stand down and surrender." "Or be destroyed. Your choice."
Doublecone remarks as his troops ready their weapons, "Oh, I'm afraid you are mistaken, Autobots. We won't be the ones surrendering. You will be the ones surrendering."
In that instant, a Decepticon Ground Bridge opens, and Torpedofly, Knock Out, Victoryjump, Breakdown, Goldglide, Duneframe, Torrentfire, Dynamostop, Topbite, Wrangleburner, Ditchbite, Switchlock, Ripricochet, Leoswitch, Auroraside, Comethorn, Thunderslinger, Athenaraker, Deliriumshift, Dinodrive, Talonbrawn, Earthflight, Ditchwhip, Silverburns, Landasor, Frostsinger, Strikerwar, Shadedagger, Kaliriah, Coldflint, Lapclang, Shuttershade, Kojiro Anchorena, Rashflame, Whamarmor, Knifeline, Crowjack, Vaultpin, Clubstrike, Rubyswitch, Ridewear, Speedtread, Shadespook, Sidlepad, Hardtimber, Yellow Giant, Lightdraw, Fallbattery, Moongleam, Tarrachen, Specterist, Airblend, Screwcharge, Copperwing, Orbderm, Blockhide, Shimmerheart, Leakmask, Brasspunk, Steelride, Strikenight, Blastdread, Fallsmack, Riderboom, Hidestriker, Swipestrike, Headwild, Nightdown, Steeldown, Strikersteel, Wavearmor, Downsky, Crossdead, Fallshadow, Steelwar, Rushbeat, Cloudwar, Screamwar, Nightcloud, Screamstrike, Hidefall, Blastwar, Wargrim, Hornsteel, Screamsteel, Hornnight, Blaststeel, Swipegrim, Laser Alert, Roadframe, Metro Aid, Subhopper, Blitzwipe, Chainhammer, Divecrusher, Afterlord, Beachplay, Clifftwin, Bluehandler, Omegawave, Beachplex, Ripperbite, Victorygate, Blazewar, Thunderblast, Airachnid, Bunkerlocker, Barwark, Wardog, Pitchstorm, Ladykiller, Slaytalon, Nightsmith, Necroblaster, Chronoflyer, Worldgear, Ironbearer, Speedride, Moonbolt, Streetroar, Airwheels, Speedgazer, Swiftforce, Duskgazer, Chronoblazer, Steelwinder, Crashheart, Cometwire, Rapidscream, Solarclash, Rapidshot, Flareracer, Magnetvoid, Sunwind, Speedheart, Currentstriker, Blightstrike, Victorysmasher, Sunroar, Morgatron, Barwark, Sky Haul, Blastwind, Torpedofly, Warfall, Blazersonic, Break Leo, Stranglewatch, Sinnerhide, Wheeldragon, Beachtrain, Metropick, Superstreaker, Steelmix, Stonetrain, Splashrider, Splash Slam, Skullface, First Alert, Counterheader, Sixspan, Steelblight, Sinnershaker, Wardog, and several thousand multiplying Vehicons and Eradicons came out of the portal.
The drones deployed their blasters and fired on the Autobot corps.
Suddenly, the Iron Legion immediately unleashed their full arsenals on the drones, giving Sky Haul and the others the chance to fight the other Autobots.
Fortressimus also had to take on Barwark, as he apparently wanted a rematch from their last fight.
Victoryjump took out some drones, having been freed of his restraints before arrival.
As one of the Tank Vehicons prepared to fire on the Iron Legion with a super-charged Energon tank round, Victoryjump deploys a Nucleon Charge Rifle and guns down the Tank Vehicon with a single bullet to the head.
After a while, the Decepticons retreated through their Ground Bridge just as the Autobots finished with reprogramming all of the drones.
In the base, Fortressimus says, "And that's how the fight turned out."
War Force comes up to Victoryjump and briefly hugs him while saying, "Thanks for the save, Victoryjump. You truly are one of us."
Meanwhile, way up in the skies of the planet Earth, the Nemesis maintained its course.
Megatron was watching the digitized livestreaming video feed of the cloudy but still empty skies upon the screen on the front end of the bridge, gazing out in wonder.
Megatron turns around as he hears the entrance/exit door open, and the Decepticons plus new recruits appeared.
Megatron grins as he remarks, "Ahh, Doublecone, Wide Twist, Beachlord, Doubledance, Hole Slam, Sidelane, Deathburst, Duskfall, Point Maximus, Hotbeak, and Windion among others in the Aerial Lethal Assault Team and the Classified Cyclone Retaliation Unit. Welcome aboard the Nemesis."
Doublecone replies, "It's a privilege to be under your command again, Lord Megatron."
Megatron grins before saying, "Soundwave, give them suitable vehicle modes for them to hide among the humans – the ones who are not recruited by the Autobots."
Soundwave goes off to do so.
Meanwhile, in the darkness of night, in a rocky area far from where the Harbinger was buried, a red, purplish-black, and dark grey Ground Bridge portal opened up.
An Autobot who looks like a combination of the Transformers 2007 Optimus Prime and the Last Knight Optimus Prime in dark opposite colors stepped out of it, and scanned his surroundings.
Noticing that his surroundings were the same in this universe even if different, the Shattered Glass Fortressimus Prime smiled evilly in triumph.
He remarks, "I have done it. I have finally escaped that piece of s(bleep!) alternate universe and ensured that that universe no longer exists thanks to me using Ratchet's invention to initiate the Big Crunch millions of years early. And now, I shall change everything accordingly."
The End.
