Hello gentlemen and ladies.
More content for McGee getting treated better or stepping to defend himself.
To the DiNozzo, Abby, and Gibbs extreme fans, especially the reactions this got over on Fan I am not shocked. One guest reviewer telling how I write like they are all in high school and complaining McGee needs somebody to kiss his wounds.
Never mind when somebody dares to look at Tony DiNozzo wrong in your guy's eyes regardless of how much DiNozzo screws up you people go utter ballistic.
Frankly I roll my eyes when seeing to this day new stories being published over you guys still complaining about Dead Air episode. Even worse is fan fiction stories which have nothing to do with said episode to just to rant on how monstrous McGee and Ziva are.
Only I just checked Dead Air, and there's no onscreen visual of McGee or Ziva ever physically turning the radio off. Just a conversation saying they quit listening.
Meanwhile I can find onscreen proof of DiNozzo's antics including leaving McGee at a crime scene all by himself just to go score some hot date regardless if the killer returned.
That's not even including Abby or Gibbs actions at times.
Really quite obvious when all you Tony or Abby fans throw fits calling McGee or Ziva all sorts of stuff you really are projecting given that's what your favorites being DiNozzo or Abby do.
Silent Night 6x11 - Outside a mansion
Upon watching Ziva handcuff the fat garbage who has started all this death around Christmas no less, Gibbs turns seeing McGee lying on the hood of a car having been tasered as DiNozzo is chuckling. Glaring at DiNozzo, Gibbs is already moving into action for going over the car window, and breaking it with his elbow to unlock the door.
Rapidly removing the rubber floor mat the Marine drops it to the ground near Timothy before reaching over yanking the electric wires off as Tim finally breathes a sigh of relief.
Glaring at DiNozzo who takes a step back "That should have been you instead of standing there laughing while watching your partner suffer. We will be talking later" Gibbs snarls.
Turning back to McGee Gibbs was almost going to pull out his phone, only Ziva is walking over talking furiously on her cellphone to dispatch for getting an ambulance over, and something to do with not being high on the priority list. Needless to say whatever Ziva voices into the phone next apparently knowing whatever language the person really speaks rather than broken English causes her to confirm an ambulance is arriving.
Late season seven - Inside NCIS headquarters
Stepping off the elevator, Timothy McGee sees Gibbs approaching briskly coming to a typical stop mere inches away, and meets Tim's face. An encounter that has played out so many times on a daily basis they've lost count.
"Where's Abby?" Gibbs demands.
Scoffing "Really? Not even inquiring about me, just wanting to know about where Abby is. Well, I think down in the lab or somewhere, not really sure as I have to brief the director anyway" Timothy says.
"What's gotten into you McGee? And brief about what?" Gibbs asks harshly.
"Because I'm not the same agent I was with the Mikel Mauher incident, Abby completely ignored my instructions left a secure area putting us in direct danger to the Mexican drug cartel," Timothy says.
"And? It's your job to protect her" Gibbs fires back.
"Oh, I forget Abby can do wrong in your eyes. We could have all been kidnapped, tortured and killed yet you only care about her" Timothy replies in disgust.
Brushing past Gibbs, Timothy heads for the stairs when the same voice stops him for a moment.
"You do this and you're off my team," Gibbs says.
"You break so many of your own rules and screw this team over for Abby. You are done protecting her Gibbs" Timothy says icily.
Gibbs can only watch as McGee continues on up the stairs to the director's office. The worst part is buried inside somewhere Gibbs knows his youngest agent is right.
Royals and Loyals 8x04 - Inside a hotel room
Standing near the hot tub containing brown murky water alongside the body, and is very clearly a hazmat situation like the sign says, Timothy's face briefly has pure rage across it when hearing Gibbs telling him to get inside the tub. Not helping much is Jimmy's off-handed clueless comment about how the water overflowing will be inside his boots is pure fact. Which is so not helpful right now, he knows.
"No, I'm not," Timothy says stepping away from the tub "It's marked Hazmat for a reason and we for sure do not have the proper equipment, just a pair of knee-high boots."
"We need that body McGee" Gibbs growls.
"It's not going anywhere at the moment, boss. Let's wait for the hazmat team to get here" Timothy says firmly "Or is this like the dog incident and Abby in Mexico all over again?"
"Come on probie we need that body, it's just some water," Tony says.
"I don't see you jumping in that tub" Timothy replies briskly.
"I'm in agreement with McGee, we risk our lives a lot to get results. Not in this case, a line must be drawn in the sand somewhere, yes?" Ziva adds.
"That body is getting worse in that water," Gibbs says.
"And wasting time instead of calling the hazmat team. I'm not letting anyone get in that tub. Rule One boss" Timothy replies firmly.
"Is this your hill, Tim?" Gibbs asks, stepping closer.
"Yeah, it is, you had varying reasons for picking me and one is right now," Timothy says firmly despite a small bit of unease.
Gibbs after a moment backs off nodding and walks out.
"Huh, I didn't see that coming. Where's the boss going?" Tony asks.
"Coffee most likely," Jimmy says.
"I knew that autopsy gremlin, just being sure if everybody else did," Tony says unhappily.
Timothy and Ziva roll their eyes alongside Jimmy.
"So big question who is going to call the hazmat team?" Tony asks.
"Ducky if you would as chief medical officer, please," Timothy says.
"It would be my honor, Timothy. If I may you handled yourself well," Ducky says pulling out his cell phone and stepping away.
"Yes, Ducky is right Tim, you did. Though I do have a question" Ziva says.
"Go ahead," Timothy says with a light smile.
"What did you mean by why he hired you is one reason just now?" Ziva asks.
"First meeting boss all those years ago being a Norfolk case agent, I was able to withstand his, as Tony puts it drill sergeant routine. Also, because I could stand up for disagreeing, somewhat" Timothy replies.
"You were rather green for nearly losing your lunch on that body," Tony says grinning.
Rolling his eyes "Let me put it this way Ziva, Tony was hired due to his investigative skills and could follow orders, mostly. Gibbs hired me cause at the end of the day I can and will disagree with him. Not as blinded for needing his praise to live off of" Timothy says.
"Huh, and you do have a point," Ziva says simply.
"Hey, I take offense. I disagree with the boss" Tony adds.
"Face it, Tony, Gibbs says jump and you reply how high" Jimmy adds.
"No appreciation" Tony grumbles.
"The hazmat team will be on its way" Ducky adds walking back over.
"Good" Timothy replies "Well I guess we better get conformable."
"You know this actually reminds me of a case in Philadelphia," Tony says.
"Well, at least it's not a Baltimore story" Timothy quips.
They each proceed to sit down on the floor knowing it's going to be a while waiting for awhile. Tony begins his tale, which eventually leads to Ducky sharing a few stories, and even Jimmy from his various summer jobs.
Eventually, Gibbs carrying a coffee cup returns, momentarily having a small proud look before announcing that the hazmat team has arrived.
Gibbs living room
Timothy McGee, and Ziva David walk in seeing Gibbs, Tony and Abby sitting in various spots while the fireplace grill is lit for steaks. Both agents lean against the nearby wall while waiting for whatever they are called here for quietly taking each other's hands.
"There's a problem on the team, whatever it is, fix it, and apologize," Gibbs orders.
"Isn't apologizing against one of your rules? What did we even do wrong?" Ziva asks.
Frowning "It's that right there. Both of you holding hands makes me sick, all you do is flaunt your relationship" Abby says angrily.
Glaring "Are you kidding me? This is what you're having us waste our day off on? Calling us here cause the team aka Abby is the one having a problem? This is childish" Ziva says.
"I just came here for the entertainment, food, and cause boss said to get here," Tony says joyfully.
"We do not flaunt our relationship. Heck, when we get to the navy yard, we don't even kiss or hold hands at all" Timothy says.
"You are draped over him, always have been since day one," Abby says.
"I lean against his chair, not Tim, and looking closer at the computer monitor is not draped all over him," Ziva says.
"The only person in this room with the inability to work as a team is you, Abby," Timothy says.
Glaring "We are done here, Gibbs you are starting to remind me of my father presently," Ziva says.
The older silver-haired agent flinches looking elsewhere.
"For the record, breaking rule twelve was not something we took lightly, but Ziva's right we are done," Timothy says firmly.
"Well, I guess we know who wears the pants," Tony says smugly.
"An equal partnership, not that somebody like you who only cares for one night stands ever would understand" Timothy says.
Wincing Tony glances elsewhere knowing that deep down McGee is right.
Scowling "Hey watch your mouth," Gibbs says.
"Oh, so Abby and Tony can sit there making mocking comments while I have to keep my mouth shut? Predictable" Timothy says in disgust.
Reaching out gently taking his hand "None of them are worth it, Tim. Let's just go" Ziva says gently.
"Okay," Timothy says.
"Hey, you can't leave yet, I'm not even getting started" Abby protests.
Timothy and Ziva merely exchange a glance before exiting the house wordlessly leaving the three inside.
Hope the McGee fans at least got enjoyment out of this. The blind Tony, Abby and Gibbs fans probably not.
The last one for Timothy and Ziva getting harassed over their relationship is not any episode obviously, rather a fan fiction story where both got unfairly trashed on by Gibbs, Abby and DiNozzo as if McGee was automatically in the wrong for whatever slight Abby perceived it to be. Including Gibbs and Tony acting all up on their high horses.
Yeah, leaving the door opens for if I continue this down the road to start calling out the blind DiNozzo and Abby tropes in fan fic stories, but unknown if I will.
On McGee reporting Abby for the Mexico incident, I know it was a season 7 episode just not which exact one.
Never mind the entire concept of Gibbs not picking up his shell casing following killing Pedro Hernandez is entirely brainless regardless for making Gibbs that dumb.
McGee referencing being picked on being able to disagree with Gibbs is twofold. One in the first ever episode McGee tells Gibbs to be careful of some navy commander or whatever the rank was with not even backing down when Gibbs gets in his face asking if he can't be disagreeable. Yeah, this is McGee staring down Gibbs not blinking when Gibbs is one of NCIS best integrators.
Next is in the later years McGee stands up to Gibbs, and even one time kicks him off a case.
So, using some fandom leeway on adding to why Gibbs hired Timothy McGee.
Until next time
