Hello, everyone. Here's Chapter 13 of the United World Arc. I can't believe that we are actually nearing the end of this story. It feels just like yesterday I just started this fanfiction.
If you guys have sent me messages on fanfiction, the reason I have not been able to read or answer any of them is because fanfiction is giving me problems with alerts. I can't even check when you guys review my chapters, so I just gave up on it. I still appreciate all the reviews coming this way and I'm happy that more and more people like this story.

"I'm going first!" Yuya grabbed two cards from his hand. "Using the Scale 2 Oafdragon Magician and the Scale 5 Wisdom-Eye Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuya set his scale and his two magicians appeared in columns of blue light.
"I activate Wisdom-Eyes Magician's Pendulum Effect! By destroying this card, I can set another Magician Pendulum Monster in the Pendulum Zone! I choose the Scale 8 Timegazer Magician!" Yuya changed out his monsters.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Angel's Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and then discard two from my hand!" Yuya drew three cards and then picked two from his hand earlier and discarded them.
"Swing, Pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Revive from the Extra Deck! Wisdom-Eye Magician (DEF: 1500, LV: 4, PS: 5)! And from my hand, the wondrous dragon with beautiful dichromatic eyes! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (DEF: 2000, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Odd-Eyes appeared on the field.
Odd-Eyes then roared in pain as he crouched down.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK: 2500→1000)
"Odd-Eyes…I'm sorry." Yuya apologized.
"Don't worry, Yuya. I can still fight." Odd-Eyes grunted.
"For now, at least." Genesis spoke, getting their attention. "You're power only went down by 1500, that means that only 3 of your dark versions have been summoned to the field. Once the other two reappear, then you will be nothing more than drained out dragon."
"This drained out dragon can still kick your ass." Odd-Eyes glared.
"But that effect won't work on Odd-Eyes' other forms, nor will his Defense Points fall." Yuya pointed out. "Odd-Eyes has been with me since the beginning and he'll stay with me until the very end!"
"I set three cards and end my turn!" Yuya set the rest of his hand.

"Odd-Eyes…you were always the most frustrating of the four dragons. You refused to do anything I say and go off on your own." Genesis closed her eyes in disappointment. "I can't believe this is how you would thank the one who gave you life."
"You're wrong about the humans, Genesis. Not all of them are like you think. There are some the cherish the Duel Monsters and see them as their friends. Why can't you understand that?" Odd-Eyes growled.
Genesis raised her hand and Odd-Eyes felt even more pain and roared in agony. "Odd-Eyes?!" Yuya got worried for his partner.
"You were always so stubborn and hard headed. I expected that from you since you were the youngest, but what I didn't expect was that it would influence your elder siblings." Genesis scolded. I created you to be the protectors of the world, instead you decided to co-exist with the humans, our enemy."
"Humans…are…" Odd-Eyes grunted.
"Silence!" Genesis made Odd-Eyes scream in pain once more.
"Stop it!" Yuya yelled in anger.
"Humans are nothing but a bunch of scum with empty promises. You say that they treat you as their friend, but in the end only they receive the benefits of the relationship. Zarc used you to achieve fame and used you as tools to protect his child." Genesis said.
"That's…not…true…Zarc would always thank us after he wins and he would apologize to us if he lost. And he asked us to look after Yuya because we are his family too." Odd-Eyes grunted. "If anyone is using us as tools, it's you."
"Everything I do is for the sake of Duel Monsters. If you can't understand that, Odd-Eyes, then I will eliminate you from existence! My turn! Draw!" Genesis drew her card.
"From my hand, I activate the Field Magic: Land Before Time!" The field transformed into a vast savannah. "Upon this card's activation, I can add one Dragon-type monster from my deck to my hand!" Genesis added a card to her hand.
"Using the Scale 0 Alpha Dragon and the Scale 13 Omega Dragon, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Genesis set her scale. "With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 1 to 12!" Two dragons appeared in columns of blue light along with a twilight-colored pendant.
"She can summon any monster she wants with that scale…" Yuya sweated.
"From creation comes destruction, from destruction comes creation! Swing magical pendant and bring forth the creations of duality! Pendulum Summon! Appear!" The twilight pendant swung back and forth before creating a portal and one monster came out.
"Appear! Dragon of creation and destruction! Genesis Omega Dragon (ATK: 0, LV: 10, PS: 0)!" Genesis summoned herself to the field.
"So, that's you're true form." Yuya looked at the dragon.
"I activate my effect! Once per turn, I can destroy monsters on the field equal to the number of cards in my Pendulum Zones! Since I have two, I destroy two of your monsters! Be gone! Odd-Eyes! Wisdom-Eye Magician!" Genesis destroyed both Odd-Eyes and Wisdom-Eye Magician.
"As long as she has cards in her Pendulum Zone, she can destroy two of my monsters per turn." Yuya thought. "But Genesis only has 0 Attack Points. I can defeat her."
"I set two cards and end my turn!" Genesis finished her turn.

"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card.
"At this moment, my other effect activates! At the start of each player's turn, I gain 1000 Attack Points!" Genesis gained power.
G.O.D. (ATK: 0→1000)
"I activate Oafdragon Magician's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, I can add one Odd-Eyes or Magician Pendulum Monster in my Extra Deck to my hand! I add Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon back to my hand!" Yuya added Odd-Eyes back to his hand.
"Next, I activate the Ritual Magic: Odd-Eyes Advent! This card allows me to Ritual Summon a Dragon-type Ritual Monster from my hand or Graveyard using Pendlum Monsters as materials! I release the Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon that I added to my hand! The altar appeared in front of Yuya and Odd-Eyes appeared. The flames ignited and Odd-Eyes turned into 7 blue flames.
"Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Be bestowed with the power of great force and crush those beneath you! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 7! The dragon with dichromatic eyes with power over space! Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon (ATK: 2800, LV: 7)!" Yuya summoned his Ritual Monster.
"When Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon is Special Summoned, all Magic and Trap Cards on the opponetn's field are returned to their hand!" Genesis's Pendulum Scale was returned to her hand.
"Battle! Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon, attack Genesis Omega Dragon! Spiral Gravity Burst!" Yuya's Ritual Monster unleashed its breath attack.
"I activate another of my effects! When I'm attacked or targeted by a card effect! I can place a Pendulum Card from my hand, deck or Extra Deck in my Pendulum Zone to negate that attack or effect and end the turn! I set Alpha Dragon back in my Pendulum Zone!" Genesis set her Pendulum Monster back in the Pendulum Scale and Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon's attack was stopped.
"So, she has a plan to stop my moves. But she can only do it once more." Yuya said.
Ai vs Yuzu, Serena, Rin and Ruri
Yuzu, Ruri, Rin, Serena LP: 4000 (Yuzu Hand: 5, Ruri Hand: 5, Rin Hand: 5, Serena Hand: 5)

"I'm going first!" Yuzu stepped forward. "Using the Scale 1 Charlotte the Melodious Diva and the Scale 12 Ruby the Melodious Songstress, I set the Pendulum Scale! With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 2 to 11!"
"Pendulum, huh?" Ai looked at the scale.
"The song within my heart! Become the melody that brings harmony to all! Pendulum Summon! Appear!" The portal opened and two monsters came out.
"Melodious Maestra Prodigy Mozart (ATK: 2600, LV: 8)! And beautiful creature with the power to bring life to the earth! Level 7! Melodious Flower Dragon (ATK: 2500, LV: 7)!" Yuzu summoned her double aces.
"Next, I activate the Continuous Magic: Maestra Roar! I can only activate this card when I have Flower Dragon and a Melodious monster on my field! I end my turn!" Yuzu finished her turn.

"Melodious Flower Dragon…if I recall it was corrupted by the Eve Factor and tried to destroy humanity." Ai observed. "Guess its master is following its footsteps."
"Shut up. I'm doing this for my daughter. Genesis' power…is not what you think it is." Yuzu trembled a bit.
"True, Genesis is very powerful. But that doesn't mean she's unbeatable, she just knows how to tug at the heartstrings. She used your love for your family as a weapon against you, causing you to succumb to fear. In all honestly, that tactic is usually reserved for cowards." Ai commented.
"Shut up and start your turn!" Yuzu had no patience left for Ai.
"Okay, okay. Whatever you say, Princess." Ai said. "My turn! Draw! I summon Pikari Ignister (ATK: 1200, LV: 4)!" Ai summoned a unique monster.
"Pikari's Monster Effect! I add the Field Magic: Ignister AiLand to my hand! Link Summon!" Pikari went into the circuit. "Link 1! Linguriboh (ATK: 300, LNK: 1)!" Ai summoned a Kuriboh like monster.
"Next, I activate the Field Magic: Ignister AiLand! This card allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Ignister monster from my hand when I have no monsters in my Main Monster Zone! I Special Summon Doyon Ignister (DEF: 1600, LV: 4)!" Ai summoned a creature similar to Pikari.
"I activate Doyon's effect! When this card is summoned, I can add one Ignister monster from my Graveyard to my hand!" Ai added back Pikari to his hand.
"Next, from my hand, I activate the Continuous Magic: CompromA. ! Once per turn, I can treat an Ignister as a Continuous Magic and place it faceup in my Magic/Trap Zone!" Ai moved his card to his Magic/Trap Zone.
"His monster in the Magic/Trap Zone. Is his deck like my dad's Gem Beast deck?" Serena wondered.
"Ignister AiLand's effect activates once more! I Special Summon Pikari (DEF: 600, LV: 4)! Ai brought back Pikari. "Pikari's effect! I add my second Ignister AiLand from my deck to my hand!"
"Next, the Continuous Magic: CompromA. 's effect activates! Once per turn, when a monster is Special Summoned…I Special Summon an Ignister from my Magic/Trap Zone! Return to the Main Monster Zone, Doyon (DEF: 1600, LV: 4)!" Ai moved his monster back.
"Appear! The circuit that guides the dark!" The circuit appeared above Ai and his three monsters entered the markers. "The creation of dark shadows! The wisdom of the dark night scatters throughout the world! Gather in my hand to become the power of rising vigor! Link Summon! Appear! Link 3! Dark Knight Ignister (ATK: 2300, LNK: 3)!" Ai summoned a monster with a sword.
"Is that his ace monster?" Ruri looked at the Link Monster.
"Ignister AiLand's effect activates! I Special Summon Aichichi (DEF: 800, LV: 2)! When a monster is Special Summoned next to a Link Monster's Link, Dark Knight's effect activates! I Special Summon Pikari (DEF: 600, LV: 4) and Doyon (DEF: 1600, LV: 4) next to its Links!" Ai brought back his two monsters.
"Appear! The circuit that guides the dark!" The circuit appeared again and Doyon, Pikari and Aichichi entered the markers.
"With high spirits, the soul resurrects from the river of fire! Become red hot and burn! Link Summon! Appear! Link 3! Fire Phoenix Ignister (ATK: 2300, LNK: 3)!" Ai summoned a Fire-type Link Monster.
"I can't let you have this boy behind me! From my hand, I activate the Link Magic: Judgement Arrows!" Ai played a powerful card that created a dark tornado.
"Link Magic?" Rin was confused as she never heard of that Magic before.
"Battle! Fire Phoenix, attack Prodigy Mozart!" Ai ordered.
"What?! But Prodigy Mozart is stronger!" Yuzu pointed out.
"Judgement Arrows' effect! When a Link Monster this card points to battles, its Attack Points are doubled!" Ai revealed.
Fire Phoenix (ATK: 2300→4600)
"4600 Attack Points?!" Serena's eyes widened.
"I won't let you! At this moment, my Continuous Magic: Maestra Roar's effect activates! When my opponent attacks either a Melodious monster or Flower Dragon, this card negates all of your monsters' effects and the monster that is being attacked gains the Attack Points of all Melodious and Flower Dragon monsters on my field!"
Prodigy Mozart (ATK: 2600→5100)
"Alright! It can defeat Fire Phoenix!" Ruri smiled.
"Counterattack! Graceful Wave!" Prodigy Mozart unleashed her counterattack.
"Too easy!" Ai grabbed a card from his hand. "From my hand, I activate the Quick-Play Magic: Ai-Flame combo!" A picture showed a Dark Ignis and Fire Ignis doing a handshake.
"When I have a Fire Attribute Monster and Dark Attribute Cyberse Monster on my field, this card ends the Battle Phase, and destroys all cards on my opponent's field!" Ai revealed.
"What?!" Yuzu gasped.
"Dark Knight! Fire Phoenix! Dark Flame Slash!" Fire Phoenix encased Dark Knight's sword with fire and Dark Knight destroyed all of Yuzu's cards.
"That was a close one. I end my turn." Ai finished his turn.
"Damn you…" Yuzu cursed.
"I hope that the rest of you do better than this one. I'm still not even trying." Ai pointed out.
Jonouchi vs Diva
Jonouchi LP: 1600, Hand: 2
Field: Flame Swordsman (ATK: 5700, LV: 5), Equip Card: Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
Diva LP: 1600, Hand: 2
Field: Field Magic: Direction World Dimension, Continuous Magic: Direction World Karma.
"How do you like that! You're Plana power is no match for our bonds!" Jonouchi declared.
"You have indeed grown stronger…" Diva got back to his feet. "It looks like I might actually have to try harder."
"Quit the bluffs, it's not gonna work!" Jonouchi shouted.
"Am I? End your turn and we'll see if I'm bluffing." Diva smiled.
"I set one card and end my turn!" Jonouchi finished his turn. "At this moment, the effect of Multi-Colored Flame ends, and Flame Swordsman's Attack Points go down by 1500."

Diva LP: 1600, Hand: 2
"My turn! Draw!" Diva drew his card. "It's here…the new power granted to me by Genesis!" Diva smiled at the card.
"Power by Genesis?!" Jonouchi questioned.
"From my hand, I activate the Ritual Magic: Dark Uprising! This card allows me to Ritual Summon a Ritual Monster in my hand by releasing Direction World Monsters on my field or hand!"
"From my hand, I release Dark Direction World God Crimson Nova!" Crimson Nova appeared on the field before turning into 10 black flames.
"Dragon with dichromatic eyes! Gain the power of the Plana and shroud this world into never-ending darkness! Ritual Summon! Appear! Level 10! The dragon with dichromatic eyes of empty abyss! Supreme King Plana Dragon – Odd-Eyes Purgatory Dragon (ATK: 4000, LV: 10)!" Diva summoned an Odd-Eyes monster that was similar to Odd-Eyes Lightning Dragon.
"Odd-Eyes?!" Jonouchi was shocked. "But that's Yuya's…"
"That's right, Jonouchi. You will be fighting the power that your nephew possesses!" Diva smirked.
Yuya vs Genesis
"Argh!" Yuya held his chest. "The pain again…"
"U-Urgh…I'm feeling so weak…" Odd-Eyes felt drained again.
"Looks like that's four, just one more." Genesis thought.
Blue Maiden vs Lightning

Field: Field Magic: Armatos Colosseum.
Blue Maiden LP: 4000, Hand: 2
Field: Trickstar Band Guitar Sweet (ATK: 2600, LV: 7), Trickstar Holly Angel (ATK: 2800, LNK: 2)
"Why did your Life Points stop at 1 and then increase back to 4000?" Blue Maiden questioned.
"I will do anything to prove that I am superior!" Lightning declared. "The virus that infected with Link VRAINS has allowed me to convert the data of all avatars into extra Life Points! Whenever I'm about to lose, I can use that data to restore my Life Points to normal. However, I can only use it one more time after this."
"Meaning if we want to win this Duel, we have to beat him two more times." Aqua analyzed.
"It's like a video game. Three lives." Blue Maiden commented. "I set one card and end my turn! At this moment, Holly Angel and Guitar Sweet's effect ends and their Attack Points return to normal.

"My turn! Draw!" Lightning drew his card. He then began to chuckle. "With this, the conditions will be met."
"The conditions?" Blue Maiden blinked.
"I activate the Link Magic: Plumbum Trident's effect! I return one Link Monster in the Graveyard to the Extra Deck to Special Summon an Armatos Legio Link Monster from the Graveyard next to its Link! I return Decurion to my deck and Special Summon Centurion (ATK: 1700, LNK: 2)!"" Lightning brough back Centurion.
"At this moment, Armatos Colosseum's effect activates! I send Sica from my hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon Armatos Legio Segmentata (DEF: 2000, LV: 4) and Gladius (DEF: 800, LV: 2) next to Centurion's Link!" Lightning brought back two more Armatos Legio Monsters.
"Appear! The circuit that guides the light! The summoning condition is one Level 4 or lower Armatos Legio! Link Summon! Appear! Link 1! Armatos Legio Decurion (ATK: 1000, LNK: 1)!" Lightning brought back Decurion.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card: Armatos Prosthetic! This card allows me to change one Armatos Legio Link Monster's type to another type of my choosing! I change Centurion to a Dragon-type!" Lightning changed his monster's type.
"He change it to a Dragon?" Blue Maiden was confused.
"Appear! The circuit that guides the light! The summoning condition is at least one Dragon-type Link Monster! I set Decurion, Segmentata and the Dragon-type Centurion in the Link Markers!" The monsters went to the Link Markers.
"The dragon with dichromatic eyes! Force your way through the network and infect everything in your path! Link Summon! Appear! Link 4! The dragon with dichromatic eyes that infects the Cyber World! Supreme King Virus Dragon – Odd-Eyes Malware Dragon (ATK: 2500, LNK: 4)!" Lightning summoned an Odd-Eyes Link Monster.
"What?! Odd-Eyes!" Blue Maiden gasped.
"From my Graveyard, I activate Segmentata's effect! When it's linked and sent to the Graveyard for a Link Summon, I pay 1000 Life Points to bring back all monsters used to Link Summon to my deck!" Lightning added the cards back to his deck.
Lightning LP: 4000→3000
"And for each of Odd-Eyes Malware Dragon's Link Markers, I return a card in my Graveyard to my deck! I return Speculata, Gladius and two Sicas from my Graveyard to my deck! Then you select a card in my Graveyard and add it to my hand!" Lightning added more cards back to his deck.
"The only card you have left is Magic Cylinder." Blue Maiden remembered.
"That's right, I add Magic Cylinder to my hand!" Lightning added his Trap Card back to his hand.
"Next, from my hand, I activate the Link Magic: Judgement Arrows!" Lightning played Judgement Arrows.
"That card!" Aqua's eyes widened.
Yuya vs Genesis
"Argh!" Yuya felt more pain.
"My…power…" Odd-Eyes went silent.
"Odd-Eyes! Odd-Eyes!" Yuya screamed with worry.
"They've all been summoned. Then it's my turn." Genesis thought.

Genesis LP: 4000, Hand: 4
"My turn! Draw!" Genesis drew her card. "During the start of every player's turn, I gain 1000 Attack Points!"
"But you must pay 500 Life Points to use card effects thanks to Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon's effect!" Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon roared.

G.O.D. (ATK: 1000→2000)
"I reset the Pendulum Scale with my already set Scale 0 Alpha Dragon and Scale 13 Omega Dragon!" Genesis reset her Pendulum Scale.
"Next, from my hand, I activate the Ritual Magic: Orichalcos Advent!" Genesis played a card with a design all too familiar to Yuya.
Genesis LP: 3500→3000
"Orichalcos?!" Yuya's eyes widened.
"That's right. Since I created everything, their power belongs to me! This Ritual Magic is unique as it doesn't require releases! I just have to discard one Barrier of the Orichalcos in my hand as the offering!" The Barrier of Orichalcos appeared on the field and it started spinning around before becoming a powerful bright green light.
"Seal of Atlantis the power of time and space shall now shatter you!" The Barrier of Orichalcos shattered into a million pieces. "Arise, legendary beast that caused the downfall of Atlantis! Ritual Summon! Appear! Level 12! Orichalcos God (ATK: 4000, LV: 12)!" Genesis summoned a very large serpentine like dragon to the field.
"At this moment, the Field Magic: The Land Before Time's effect activates! When I Ritual, Fusion, Synchro or Xyz Summon a Dragon-type monster, one Dragon-type Pendulum Monster on my field gains Attack Points equal to the summoned monster! Therefore, I gain Leviathan's Attack Points!" Genesis monster gained power and she wasn't bothered that she was still losing Life Points.

G.O.D (ATK: 2000→6000)
"6000 Attack Points!" Yuya's eyes widened.
"Battle!" Genesis declared.
Jonouchi vs Diva
"Battle!" Diva declared. "Odd-Eyes Purgatory Dragon, attack Flame Swordsman!"
"What?! But Flame Swordsman is still stronger!" Jonouchi pointed out.
"When Odd-Eyes Purgatory Dragon battles an opponent's monster, that monster is automatically destroyed and the opponent takes 1000 points of damage! Spiral Plana Burst!" Purgatory Dragon unleashed its powerful breath attack and it destroyed both Flame Swordsman and Red-Eyes while sending Jonouchi flying away.

Asuka vs Saio
"Battle!" Saio declared. "Odd-Eyes Destruction Dragon, attack Baraquiel! Spiral Light Burst!" Odd-Eyes Destruction Dragon unleashed a blinding light breath attack that it reduced Baraquiel to ashes and Asuka was sent flying and screaming.
Asuka LP: 1600→1000
"At this moment, Odd-Eyes Destruction Dragon's effect activates! When it destroys a monster in battle, the opponent's Life Points are halved!' A powerful beam of light hit Asuka right in the stomach and she screamed in pain.
Asuka LP: 1000→500
Rua vs Roget
"Battle!" Roget declared. "Odd-Eyes Genocide Dragon, attack Power Tool Revolution Dragon! Spiral Death Burst!" Odd-Eyes Genocide Dragon instantly destroyed Power Tool Revolution Dragon.
"Power Tool!" Rua grunted.
Rua LP: 4000→3300
"And Odd-Eyes Genocide Dragon's effect! When it destroys a monster that was summoned from the Extra Deck, the materials that were used to summon that monster are banished and for each one destroyed, the opponent takes 1000 points of damage! Genocide Force!" Roget banished Rua's monsters and Rua felt more pain as Genocide Dragon struck him hard.

Blue Maiden vs Lightning
"Battle!" Lightning declared. "Odd-Eyes Malware Dragon, attack Trickstar Holly Angel! Judgement Arrows effect activates! When a Link Monster linked to it attacks, its Attack Points are doubled!" Malware Dragon gained power.
Malware Dragon (ATK: 2500→5000)
"Spiral Virus Burst!" Lightning's Odd-Eyes unleashed its attack.
"I activate my Trap Card: Holy Barrier – Mirror Force! When my opponent declares an attack, this card destroys all monsters in Attack Position!" Blue Maiden played her set card.
"Useless! Malware Dragon's effect! Once per turn, it can negate the activation of a Magic, Trap or Monster Effect and destroy it!" Blue Maiden's card was destroyed and Malware Dragon's attack struck Holly Angel. The shockwave made Blue Maiden scream as she was blown away.
Blue Maiden LP: 4000→1000
"Are you okay, Blue Maiden!" Aqua got worried.
"That's not the end! Odd-Eyes Malware Dragon's other effect! When it destroys a monster in battle, my opponent must discard half of their deck to the Graveyard!" Lightning revealed.
"Half of our deck?!" Aqua's eyes widened.
Blue Maiden reluctantly removed the top half of her deck and sent it to the Graveyard. "Deck Destruction." Blue Maiden winced as she stayed on the ground.
Rio vs Don Thousand
"U-Urgh…" Rio continued to lay on the ground. She had yet to recover from the attack from Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon.
"I can't believe this power was lying within your friend this whole time." Don Thousand said. "It makes me wonder how your other friends are doing."
"E-Everyone…" Rio started to cry from the pain.
Yuya vs Genesis
"I attack Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon! Time Space Vortex!" Genesis Omega Dragon unleashed her attack as Yuya was still in pain.
"Yu-Yuya!" Odd-Eyes cried out.
"I activate my Trap Card: Defense Draw! This reduced Battle Damage to 0!" Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon was destroyed, but Yuya didn't take any damage. "Then, I draw one card from my deck!" Yuya drew another card from his deck.
"Because I used Land Before Time's effect, Orichalcos God is not allowed to attack. But I can use its effect! At the End Phase of my turn! My Life Points increase by 4000! I end my turn!"
Genesis LP: 2500→6500
Yuya LP: 4000, Hand: 1
Genesis LP: 6500, Hand: 1
"You're only delaying the inevitable. From the way I see it, you will lose in two ways. Either by me or by your friends." Genesis said. "Odd-Eyes has no power left, and if your friends destroy the Odd-Eyes created by your power, you will die instantly. But think of this way, you will be with your disgusting parents soon."
"I won't die…I still have to guide the future." Yuya got to his feet.
"You have no cards in your hand, and Odd-Eyes is useless if you bring him back." Genesis pointed out.
"You're wrong. Odd-Eyes isn't useless." Yuya glared at Genesis with hatred. "Odd-Eyes is like me; we've grown stronger with every battle that we fought! And we have gained new power along the way! We haven't lost yet!
"My turn! Draw!" Yuya drew his card. "I activate Pot of Greed! I draw two cards from my deck!" Yuya drew his two cards and he saw one of them. "It's here."
"Genesis, you insulted the bonds that I have with my friends. But that's only because your envious of us." Yuya said.
"Envious?" Genesis was confused. "What do I have to be envious of?"
"You created the universe and you have watched it end. You have done this cycle so many times, but we humans have only one life and we live that life to our fullest every day! We have achieved a happiness with limited time while you, an eternal being have been unable to fully understand the concept of friendship and love!"
"Spare me the speech?! I don't care about friendship or love! I have all the power I need! I'm a God!" Genesis was angry.
"Then let me show you how weak your power is compared to ours! First, I activate the Magic Card: Resurrection of the Dead! Revive! Odd-Eyes (ATK: 0, LV: 7, PS: 4)!" Yuya brought back a very weak Odd-Eyes.
"I told you; Odd-Eyes is useless!" Genesis growled.
"Don't worry, Odd-Eyes, help is on the way!" Yuya grabbed a card in his hand. "I activate the Ritual Magic: Guardian Bond – Odd-Eyes/Cyber Angel!" Yuya played a card that had a picture of him, Asuka, Odd-Eyes and Cyber Angel Benten together.
"By releasing an Odd-Eyes and Cyber Angel monster on my field or hand, I can Ritual Summon an Odd-Eyes or Cyber Angel Ritual Monster from my deck!" Yuya revealed.
"Cyber Angel…that's Asuka Tenjoin's!" Genesis was shocked. "But how?"
Yuya smiled as he recalled his last memory with the team.
United World – Maiami Airport (Before Yuya Left For Egypt)
"Yuya, here take my card." Asuka held out Cyber Angel Benten.
"But isn't this your favorite card?" Yuya asked.
"It is, but I want you to have it. Who knows, maybe it can come handy for you one day. And if you can't use it, then think of it as a good luck charm." Asuka said.
"Thank you." Yuya accepted.
"Well, we can't have you one upping us, Asuka. Here, Yuya." Jonouchi held out one of his Red-Eyes Black Dragon cards.
"Red-Eyes too?" Yuya was surprised.
"Just remember that you're never alone. We're there for you." Jonouchi said.
"Me too!" Rua held out another copy Power Tool Revolution Dragon.
"Here, Yuya." Rio held out a copy of Number 94: Crystal Zero
"Take my card too." Aoi gave a copy of Marincess Marbled Rock.
"Everyone…" Yuya accepted the cards. "I'll definitely come back and return this to you. I promise."
Yuya vs Genesis
"And I plan to keep that promise." Yuya thought.
"I release Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon on my field along with Cyber Angel Benten in my hand!" Both monsters appeared on an altar and turned into 12 blue flames.
"Dragon with dichromatic eyes, accept the powers of the angel of light and shine down with brilliance! Ritual Summon! Descend! Level 12! Supreme King Angel Dragon – Odd-Eyes Cyber Dragon (ATK: 4500, LV: 12, PS: 13)!" Yuya Ritual Summoned a new Odd-Eyes monster that had both his and Asuka's powers combined.
"You're not fighting just me and Odd-Eyes! You're fighting all of the Guardians!" Yuya declared.
And that is the end of Chapter 13. We are closing in on the end. It was a short arc, but with only one enemy left for our heroes to face, no need to drag it out longer than needed.
We will be shuffling back and forth between the Yuya's Duel, Ai's Duel as well as the other Guardians, so make sure to pay attention and if I make a mistake, feel free to let me know, but do it nicely.

Preview: Yuya and Genesis use their respective powers of history and friendship to clash continuously with no end in sight. Ai continues to irritate the girls as he counters their moves so easily. Meanwhile, Don Thousand reveals to Rio what would happen if she destroys Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon. To that end, Rio makes a choice.
