Thank you to everybody who read or reviewed the last chapter. I appreciate it. Here we are at the chapter I've been putting off writing for six months—or at least the first part of it. You, the reader, did not see it for nearly another six months. We're approaching the first anniversary of my mother's death. I find that very interesting that this and the next chapter are being released around this time. It's purely coincidental.

Conversation 74: I should've stayed on the other ship.

Red spider: I got your report yesterday. I'm glad the mission went well. Also, you were able to save more people than in the other timeline. That's a good thing.

Red spider: I'm sorry that Loki is upset at you. Maybe you should explain why you didn't want to tell him. I know you blame yourself for Lincoln's death, but that was his choice. I know it's hard to accept that, but you are diminishing what he did by blaming yourself. He saved the lives of many. It's important to respect that sacrifice.

Red spider: I want to let you know that I spoke to the boss earlier, and he agrees that I should come to you. He is sending another team to help with the ring pop. Bobby's coming with Joey and Yo-Yo to take over here. Wanda will grab them as soon as everybody arrives in Wakanda. ETA three hours.

Quake: And it might be less time since it took a while for me to get this message. We just made another jump. Are they sending Leo back to work on the time GPS? Robbie told me you're working with the other timeline to get that functional as fast as possible.

Red spider: It's a possibility. I think he would be more useful there, anyway. Vision can take care of the ship.

Quake: It would be safer anyway because I don't think Bobby and Leo should be together. There is a 90% chance May would ice them to keep an argument from breaking out.

Red spider: She really would.

Red spider: Are you somewhere where I can come to you? I would rather have Wanda create the portal to you so she has time to rest before picking up the rest of the team.

Quake: Yes. Little Ana is sending the coordinates directly to Vision. Warning: I'm currently in a meeting with most of the team, including your ex-boyfriend. I'm trying to convince Thor that he doesn't need to be with me and his sister on the ring pop team. It's going as horrible as you expect it to.

Red spider: Wanda is bringing me over. We will be there in 10.

"Daisy is in range. I'm ready for us to go over to her." Natasha said as she placed her Stark phone in her pocket. They were currently in the lounge area of the craft. Wanda was there with Agent Leopold and her husband. "I'm just going to check with Consultant Fitzsimmons first to see if he's heard anything from the Guardians that we need to pass to the other team."

He was currently in another part of the ship trying to make contact with another team that called themselves the Guardians of the Galaxy. From what Wanda has been told, they were trying to get another one of the stones. Wanda wishes them luck.

"Consultant Fitzsimmons has still not received anything from the Guardians yet." Stark's AI answered. At that moment, Vision grabbed her hand and placed it on his head. She was able to see the coordinates without words. It was a special thing they were able to do.

"I have the coordinates from Vision. I think we should leave now." Wanda recommended. "We can pass an encrypted message to you later if we have to."

"I agree with Wanda. They are near the point where Thanos attacked the ship in the original timeline. If they continue on their current path, they will be there in 3.2 hours." Her husband told the group.

"You need to get over there now and get the ship to change course. We need to keep Thanos from getting that stone." Agent Leopold said calmly.

"Agreed. Per the notes from the other timeline, that stone gave him the power to teleport. We cannot let him get that power." Natasha explained.

"I'll explain the situation to the other team while you talk to Daisy. It might be best that I don't port back immediately." Wanda offered.

"I thought you planned to make the portal, and I would go alone?" Natasha asked.

"It's better if I come with you," Wanda answered as Natasha looked at Vision.

"I feel comfortable taking care of the stone alone for a short time." Her husband answered.

"Because we're going to make another jump between. I will give you the coordinates before you leave." Leo answers.

"I'm going to grab my bag. Vision, you are in charge until Agent Morris gets here. Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid." Natasha looked directly at Dr. Leopold.

"I will endeavor to do my best." Vision answered as Natasha left to get her gear.

"Are you sure you don't want to go over there yourself and talk to Daisy?" Wanda asked Dr. Leopold.

"No." The doctor answered. "I got May killed. I don't think she wants to talk to me."

"I have worked with Agent May several times. It seems impossible to talk her out of something she wants to do." Vision replied.

"Extremely impossible," Natasha added as she returned to the room. "I'm ready to leave." Wanda nodded as she prepared to make the portal.

"I'll let you know what Daisy decides. Stark needs you returning to Earth regardless. They need your help with modifying the GPS."

"I will go. I just want to be with Hunter right now." Dr. Leopold answered.

As they talked, Wanda walked over to Vision and kissed him goodbye. This was when he passed the return coordinates to her. A few moments later, Wanda created the portal that landed her in the middle of a conference room of an unknown ship in front of Natasha's girlfriend and her team.

"You're getting very good at creating portals." She heard Robbie say as the two walked through. "You didn't land on top of the table this time."

"That only happened once," Wanda answered as she noticed Dr. Banner looked at her uneasily.

That's when Wanda realized the last time she saw him was when she made him go on his rampage. He might not even know about her efforts to help save the people of her home. Wanda regretted agreeing to come to tell everybody what was going on.

"Wanda is on our side now. She's a member of the Malta-Wakanda Avengers. A lot changed while you were gone." Agent Johnson explained.

"When I left, she was training with the Avengers," Thor added. "Although apparently, there's more than one team now."

"Stark and Rogers had a lover's spat regarding legislation for people with superpowers, but they're better now. It resulted in the Avengers splitting into two teams. I am on the UN team and worked on the rewrites of that legislation with Wanda and her husband." Daisy added.

"You got married. Congratulations. Who's the lucky fellow or lady?" Thor asked.

"Vision Maximoff. We go by my last name. Despite agreeing to the trust fund, I refuse to have the last name Stark." Wanda answered. Dr. Banner looked confused again. Thor just raised his cup in a toast.

"Robot sexuality is not uncommon throughout the cosmos. I'm surprised you are so close-minded, doctor." Thor chided. Wanda just really wanted to portal back to her husband. Unfortunately, she couldn't do that just yet.

"As entertaining as this is, we need the ship to change course. We received coordinates from the other timeline of possible Thanos hotspots. We are too close to where Thanos attacked the ship into other timelines." Natasha explained.

Granted, the events of Asgard happened a lot earlier in the Grant Roth timeline. Which meant the refugees were traveling longer before being attacked. They were wandering around space for nearly six months for some unknown reason.

"We are?" Agent Johnson seemed confused. "I thought I specifically said not to go anywhere near there."

"It was the most direct route. Just because something happened in the other timeline doesn't mean it will happen here. It's better if we get to Earth as quickly as possible."

"I'm going up to the bridge to change course. Agent Romanoff, come with me." Agent Johnson suggested. Natasha turned to Wanda for a moment.

"Go with Daisy. I will brief everyone else," Wanda told her teammate, which resulted in the couple leaving.

"What do we need to know," Robbie asked once they were gone.

"Ana should be pushing several reports to your Stark pad regarding Thanos' movements in two previous timelines. Both the Infinity Stone team and the refugee team will need to avoid all of these places. The team with the soul stone will do the same." Wanda explained calmly.

"They have the stone?" Robbie asked.

"Yes, but not without casualties. Agent May died yesterday while retrieving the soul stone." Wanda could see a flick of fire in Robbie's eyes. She knew he considered Agent May a friend. "Natasha's telling her what happened. That might happen before they reach the bridge, so someone should tell them we must change trajectory now." They need to get as far away from Thanos as possible. Wanda doesn't want to fight him right now.

"I will take care of it." The woman that Wanda didn't instantly recognize told the group. She assumes it's the Valkyrie, judging by the reports she and Vision have read over the last few days.

"I assume Agent May is a team member of daughter of Philip?" Thor asked. It took Wanda a moment to realize he was talking about Agent Johnson.

"Yes. She was also Agent Coulson's wife. She is the one who trained Daisy." Wanda explained.

"She considered Agent May to be her mother in many regards." The other woman in the room added. Wanda is going to assume they are Loki.

"Daisy is being told her mother just died on a mission," Robbie explained to the group. It was at that moment that the ship began to shake.

"What is that?" Dr. Banner asked.

"Are we being attacked?" Thor questioned as his eyes began to spark. Wanda could feel the power.

"That's Daisy," Robbie told the group. "Like you, Thor, Daisy's powers can be triggered spontaneously when upset. However, she's been able to control it for a while." That's when Loki got up and walked towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Robbie asked.

"To keep my friend from shaking the entire ship apart. I don't think the girlfriend is going to be enough." Wanda was fighting the urge to facepalm. Why didn't she stop Loki?

"Girlfriend?" Bruce repeated the word as a question.

"A lot changed while you were gone. You didn't expect Natasha to wait for you when you disappeared?" Wanda stated without providing more of an explanation. Thankfully, her phone beeped, which gave her an excuse not to say more. She really regrets coming to the ship.

To be continued…

Yes, I saw the Marvels this weekend, and I loved it. I'm sad it's getting a lower rotten tomato score than the first movie. But this happened before with the Kelvin timeline Star Trek movies. The best of the series had the lowest tomato score, so that's not the best metric.

This is also my first story update since the official timeline was released. For some reason, they decided to put the events of Ragnarök in fall 2017, not winter 2018, which would make more sense. I think they were using the movie's actual release date to guide them without thinking things through. Since this story takes place in a branch of a branch timeline, we're going with my placement. However, I had to add a joke about the MCU 616 timeline.

Also, the events of Agents of SHIELD were officially moved to a branch timeline as well. I've been going with that for a while, so it wasn't surprising. Per Miss Minutes, things happen at slightly different times in different timelines/universes. So that's what we're going with.
