Hello everyone, the Shinobi Hero is back. So I read the comments. I want to explain some things Momo is capable. She does know how to fight however the Slime man was literally the same one that Bakugo could not blast out of and almost died to. Momo could have done something if she was not in a desperate situation. She proved that if she gets over powered quickly even after training in the school festival where she literally lost in a quick fashion. That lost pushed her further into the character she is in the manga. I hope you all enjoy. Izuku woke up looking around. 'Damn, I had the craziest dream. All Might said I was gonna be his successor.' He thought as he looked around.
'He did, and you should. Believe it!' He heard Naruto call out as Izuku spotted All Might.
"Well, look who's back among the living!" All Might called out as he proceeded to spit out blood. "So, Midoriya, what do you say?"
"YES!" He screamed out causing some trash to shift.
"Good! I admire the passion. Now, before we get into it, what do you think my quirk is?" All Might asked.
'Oh, god here we go again...' Kuruma grumbled out as he knew what was about to happen.
"Well, there are many theories about it being a strength quirk or a transformation quirk. There are so many possibilities..." Izuku started mumbling out as he took out one of his books.
"Whoa there. I am interested in what you think it is, however, it is much different than what you think it is." All Might stated. "I am the bearer of what many would call a sacred torch. A quirk that grows stronger as time goes on and could transfer to others. That is the greatest source of power of One for All."
"One... for All..." Izuku muttered as he looked shining at All Might.
"Yes, and it is this torch I wish to give to you." All Might called out.
"I..." Izuku started to try to accept before he was interrupted.
"Sorry, but we can not accept it!" Kuruma called out from Izuku's mouth. "Naruto, make some clones, we need to talk to All Might."
"What gives, Kuruma?" Izuku asked as 2 clones appeared.
"Izuku, I think Kuruma is trying to stop you for a reason." Naruto stated as he looked at his old partner.
"Exactly, you hold enough power in your body to destroy a continent. Now imagine adding a quirk that literally has been stockpiling since the dawn of quirks." Kuruma stated as he looked at All Might. "It would quite literally pop your body like a balloon."
"WHAT!" Both All Might and Izuku yelled.
"Did you really think both Naruto and I were weak?" Kuruma stated as he turned to the ocean. "Behold my base power."
Izuku and All Might watched as the clone holding Kuruma started to create a sphere near its mouth. "OH Shit! Get down!" The Naruto clone called out pulling Izuku down with him.
Kuruma launched the energy ball into the ocean as it cleaved through the trash build up and out into the sea. "Well that was..." All Might said before the Bijuu Bomb exploded causing a shockwave that split the sea and sky.
"Damn, I must have gotten rusty. I was trying to also make it so the trash here would be mostly gone." Kuruma stated as the clone popped.
"That is Kuruma's base power. Now imagine Izuku with his power, my power which was able to match Kuruma's final form in power, and Kuruma's power adding to your quirk. It would kill all of us and possibly most of the planet." Naruto stated as he picked himself up.
"Sorry, All Might... It looks like I am not going to be able to be your successor." Izuku said, still staring at the ocean as it was refilling itself.
"It is fine, young Midoriya. Even if you could not accept my quirk I still believe you are the one to be my successor, even without my quirk." All Might stated. "I still wish to train you and make you into the best hero I can. That is what you still want right?"
"Of course, I do! I still want to be the hero that is a symbol of hope for people." Izuku said, shining brightly.
"Good, you may not be able to inherit my quirk. But you are exactly who I am looking for in my successor." All Might stated. "I will have to readjust my plans as I was going to train you for my quirk."
"That's fine, old man. He will need strong strength training as he will need to balance out with mine and Kuruma's chakra." Naruto said. "Train him up and make him stronger and we will help with the rest."
After he finished his sentence he popped from existence. "Well, that was not what I was expecting.." All Might muttered as he looked at the young lad. "So, what do you say?"
"Same as I always did. I want to be a hero that can give people hope." Izuku said as he looked on with pride.
"AND THAT MY LAD IS WHY, I SEE YOU AS MY SUCCESSOR!" All Might called out as he became his enlarged form.
2 weeks later
Izuku woke up from his dream. He no longer had the dreams of Naruto's life but instead of his friends. He had been given the day off from training as All Might told him that he had an errand to run. It also helped that he could start using shadow clones with Naruto's help. Today he had plans with his new friend. Izuku messaged Momo every night the last couple of weeks. He planned to eventually introduce her to Itsuka, however every time he tried to have them hang out, they each seemed busy. Still, it has been nice to have them talking to each other at least. "Today is the day." He said as he got out of bed.
Getting ready, Izuku put on his All Might shirt with his black combat pants with an orange strip and what he knew as the Uzumaki swirl at the knees. He put his green hoodie over the shirt as winter still had a hold over the town. Grabbing his phone and headphones, Izuku ran out the door.
Momo sat at the coffee shop she planned to meet Izuku at. Looking at her phone she saw he was on his way. Nervously, she scrolled through their messages. She felt her heart skip a beat as she kept thinking how amazing Izuku was. He was always there if she ever needed to de-stress. She looked at her message list. 'New message?' Momo questioned as she went to open it.
Itsuka: Are you ready?
Momo smiled at the message. The girl was such a big sister character it warmed her heart. They both had a crush on the same boy, but she was still supportive.
Momo: Nervous, this is the first time talking in person since we first met.
Itsuka: Don't be. I am sure you will be fine. Just be yourself. Though if you don't, I am more than glad to have Izuku to myself. ;)
'Oh no you don't!' Momo thought as she saw her new friend teasing her. It was strange how they started talking. Izuku had set up a group chat between them as they all wanted to go to U.A. Of course over the course of the last two weeks they both noticed they both had some kind of crush on their only male friend. For Itsuka it was a childhood crush, which Momo caused to be jealous as she never really had friends. It was strange that Itsuka seemed to pick up on her own crush on Izuku as she never openly admitted it.
Flashback
Momo was sitting at the burger restaurant she had agreed to meet up with Itsuka at. It was in Chiba Prefecture as Itsuka wanted to meet up in her hometown. Momo had been looking forward to meeting another female that she could get along with. Staring at her phone, Momo waited as multiple people peered at her curiously. "Hey there beautiful," She heard as a teenager with what looked like a devil quirk came up to here. "Do you mind if I sit here?"
"Actually I am waiting for someone." Momo said, looking up at the fellow teen. She got a creepy feeling from him but she did not know why.
"Awww, come on. I am sure it will be fine." The teen said as he leaned down to her. "We can enjoy each other's company."
"No I..." Momo started to say before she felt like she was looking at Izuku. 'Why is Izuku here?'
"Now, can I have your name?" The teen asked as he glared at her bosom.
"You already know my name?" Momo questioned. Afterall, Izuku had been talking to her for the last couple of weeks.
"Right, can you just say it again? Afterall, it is such a beautiful thing to hear from you." The teen said as he used his quirk even more.
"Izuku, you are acting weird." Momo was being weirded out.
"Momo?" She heard a voice breaking the trance-like state she was in. "Everything alright?"
"Wah?" Momo questioned as she turned back to find that Izuku had been replaced by the devil quirked teen. "Wait, where did Izuku go?"
"Damn," The teen muttered as he felt he was so close.
"Get out of here, before I call a hero." Itsuka said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Tch," The teen sputtered out as he walked away.
"Are you ok?" Itsuka asked as she got close to Momo.
"Yeah, Itsuka, right?" Momo sputtered out as she continued to look around. "Where did Izuku go?"
"Izu isn't here. That man had a similar ability to Midnight." Itsuka said as she growled thinking about what that man was trying to do.
"Oh no..." Momo said, becoming super embarrassed.
"So, you saw Izu too, huh?" Itsuka asked, making sure she confirmed what was being said.
"Yeah..." Momo blush skyrocketed as the implication was undeniable.
"Damn..." Itsuka muttered as she looked at the other girl. "Here I was hoping it wasn't going to happen."
"What do you mean?" Momo asked, confused about the situation.
"..." Itsuka did reply as her own blush crept onto her cheeks.
"Wait. You saw Izuku too?!" Momo exclaimed as she realized what it meant.
"SHHHHH!" Itsuka said as she placed her enlarged hand over Momo's mouth. "We should go somewhere else."
Momo nodded as she got up with the girl in front of her. They slowly made their way to the small park nearby sitting on the bench near them. "So, how did this come about?" Momo questioned as she wanted to know about her new friend and her crush on her own crush.
"I've known Izu since we were kids. I guess it just developed after seeing him every day and training with him." Itsuka said blushing as she remembered just last week when she saw Izuku shirtless.
"Oh god! I am so sorry!" Momo apologized. "I did not know you were together!"
"Wah?!" Itsuka yelled, causing people to look at them. "We aren't together... I haven't told him."
"You haven't?" Momo questioned as she looked at the other girl. "Why not?"
"What if he doesn't like me like that?" Itsuka said, putting her head in her hands. "It could change everything."
"Hmm," Momo muttered as she thought about her situation. "What if he does return those feelings though?"
"Please, if only it was so simple." Itsuka said, staring at the other girl. "He is so innocent when it comes to girls, I doubt he would even notice that we both like him."
"Hmm, you have a point there." Momo sighed as she had been talking to the boy for a couple of weeks and he just seemed to say what was on his mind and compliments he said just seemed to roll off the tongue without a hint of embarrassment. "What do we do?"
"Nothing!" Itsuka said blushing. "We can't tell him anything. Honestly, I wanted to meet you to see if I have another female friend."
"You still want to be friends?" Momo asked, hopeful that their crush would not ruin the budding friendship.
"Well, yeah." Itsuka said, looking at the innocent girl.
"We definitely can be friends!" Momo said before realizing what would happen. "Oh no..."
"What?" Itsuka questioned.
"What do we do if he chooses one of us? Or another girl?" Momo nervously asked.
"Well, we can still be friends." Itsuka reassured her. "I could really use a female friend, honestly."
"Me too!" Momo said, hugging the other girl. "Regardless of what happens we can be friends."
Flashback end
That had been the start of the girls friendship, and teasing as they spent time with Izuku. Momo sighed.
Momo: He isn't only yours!
Momo blushed as she realized what she just wrote. 'Damn, Itsuka.' She thought as she knew she had been caught in the girl's teasing.
'Of course,' Momo thought as she saw Izuku show up at that moment. 'Damn it, Izuku.'
"Hey Momo!" Izuku said as he waved at the girl.
"Hi, Izuku." Momo said, smiling shyly at her crush.
"Did you wait long?" He asked as sat down across from her.
"Oh, no I just got here." She lied. She had been so nervous that she got there an hour ago.
"Oh good." He said, smiling at her. "So, what is the plan today?"
"Uhm, I don't know." Momo blushed thinking about being on a date with Izuku. "What do you want to do?'
"Hmm, well today is an off day. So do you want to go see a movie? There is a retro space movie that they just put out. Apparently it is a classic from before the age of quirks." Izuku scratched his cheek.
"Yes! Let's go!" Momo yelled, grabbing his hand and pulling him out the door.
Izuku blushed at the girl's enthusiasm. They continued to walk holding hands as they excitedly talked about their training and how it was going. "So, then All Might said that he wanted me to start using heavier weights to increase my leg strength." Izuku said smiling as he completely forgot he was holding hands with a girl.
"It must be so amazing to be trained by All Might himself." Momo smiled as she glanced at her hand as she intertwined their fingers.
"Yeah, he is a tough teacher but honestly it is worth it." Izuku said as he continued to explain how All Might was teaching him how to customize his fighting style. "I just wish I could use the gear he is making for me already. Apparently, it is going to be awesome."
"I can imagine." Momo smiled at his happiness.
"Enough about me, how is everything going with you? How is school going?" Izuku asked.
"It is going great! I am still top marks. Thankfully I am getting ready for the U.A.'s recommended test. It will be fun. Maybe we can train with each other soon?" Momo asked as she gave her best puppy dog face.
"Gah!" Izuku cried out as the face was too effective on him. "I will do whatever you want. Please stop using that cute face on me. It is too effective and ruins your beautiful smile."
Momo's face turned beet red as she blushed at his words. In his mind, he thought he heard a chuckle from Kuruma. They walked in silence for a few moments until they arrived at the theatre. "Two tickets for Star Wars please." Izuku said as he did not realize he still held Momo's hand as he handed his card over to the booth man.
"Izuku, you didn't have to." Momo complained but secretly happy that he did just a simple thing.
"Do not worry, Momo. I got it." Izuku smiled at her.
'For a date, this is perfect.' Momo thought as they walked into the theater grabbing snacks and food before the movie started.
Meanwhile
All Might sat on a jet as it prepared to land. 'It is time I come clean.' He thought as the plane landed. In his deflated form, he walked towards the tower that he knew his friend was in. Before getting inside, he buffed up knowing that they would be more accommodating to All Might then his weak form. "Uncle Might!" He heard a voice call out to him as he saw a blonde teen call out to him.
"Melissa!" Yagi said as he turned to see the girl was bouncing on a pogo stick. "It is good to see you."
He caught her as she jumped into his arms. "It is so good to see you! Dad will be excited!" She said laughing as he twirled her around.
"I am sure he will be. Have you figured out what you want to do?" He questioned as he looked at the girl.
"If only I could convince dad." Melissa grumbled as she pouted. "I have to train in private with mom's old suit."
"Well, I am sure we can convince him." He said as he saw so many qualities of his old friends in their daughter. "How is the training regime I sent you going?"
"Great!" Melissa said, showing off her muscles. "I am sure if anyone could, it will be you."
They walked to the elevator chatting about everything they had been up to since they last saw each other. Melissa was excited. She finally would be able to live up to her mother's legacy. "DAD! Look who showed up!" She called out as they got up to the top floor.
"Toshi?" The man asked as he looked up from his work.
"Hello David. We have a lot to discuss." All Might stated as he looked at one of his best friends in the world. "Can we please have the room?"
"Of course, everyone please enjoy an the day off." David called out as people got up from their desks to take their breaks.
Once everyone departed All Might looked around. Sighing, he deflated to his civilian form. "Toshi?" David questioned seeing his friend in a frail state. "What happened?"
"It is a long story. There is something about my power I never told you about." All Might began. "It has something to do with the way I am now..."
For the next couple hours, All Might explained to one of his closest friends what happened to him. He explained how he had come across his quirk, how it was passed onto him instead of being born with it. It's history and the dangers of knowing.
Of course, David agreed to keep the knowledge secret as he started to explain One for All and his true nemesis All for One. He explained how the villain had the power to steal quirks. He continued to talk until he talked about his final encounter and how he had crushed the villains head, ending his rein of terror and evil.
"Wow, this is a lot..." David sighed out as he could not believe what he had heard. "So, what now?"
"Now, I train the future. I met this young man who is what I view as the embodiment of a true hero." All Might said with pride.
"So, you are going to hand your quirk over to him?" David asked understanding the implications.
"Unfortunately, I can't." All Might said with a sigh.
"Oh, but I thought you said..." David questioned. If the young man was what Toshi thought he was then he would be perfect candidate for One for All.
"It is not a matter of if I want to or not. I literally can't." All Might explained. "Apparently his 'quirk' is a manifestation of an ancient power that comes with two guests."
"Wait he has a sentient quirk?!" David questioned, the amount of quirks that can talk and help the user is so little that they are considered mutations of mutations.
"Well, in a sense it is. His quirk secrets are not mine to share." All Might said as he sweat dropped at the obvious curiosity his friend had.
"Still, the research that can be done. Do you think you could bring him here?" David asked as he scrambled around the room.
"Hahaha, I was about to ask if I could. The young man needs specialized tools to help with his fighting." All Might bellowed out.
"I can not wait to meet him!" David said with a huge smile on his face.
Unbeknownst to them, Melissa had heard it all. She sat there pondering what she just heard. Taking off her mother's helmet, she felt the suit regress until she was in her single one piece body suit. 'If Uncle Might is bringing him, perhaps I can finally get approval from dad to start training and not hiding this.' She thought as the communicator in her ear blared.
"Do not fret, my Lady. He will see reason eventually." The super advanced Ai code name: Adam said easing her concerns.
"I just hope you are right." Melissa said as she sat with helmet of her mother's hero suit.
"Do not worry. You will be ready." Adam replied as he pulled up the data for her next workout.
Staring at it, Melissa placed the helmet onto the table. She walked out of her lab showing the last look at the helmet of Samus Shields.
