Hours later.
It was a full moon rising from behind a large forest.
So Kludd was doing his flight training he was taught by his father.
(Father): "So as I was-" but he stopped when Kludd took off and did not listen. "Kludd wait!"
(Kludd): "No," he said then he went land on a nearby branch "Look, Da!" He took off again and landed on the other branch.
(Kludd): "I'm gonna be the best flier. That's because Tytos are best at everything." he said as he landed the branch that entrance to the home then his father landed last. "Right, Da?"
(Father): "You have strength, Kludd. But owls make the best hunters for one reason alone."
(Kludd): "Yeah, I know. Their silent flight. By the time I have my claws out-" but he was stopped by his father.
(Father): "The mice will have run away. And you and your hatchlings will go hungry." he said as Kludd went mad look the voice from hollow.
(Soren): "Da!" Soren is next to Kludd wearing a leaf helmet. "I'm ready."
(Father chuckled): "Young Guardians..." he said as he removed a leaf helmet from Soren. "I don't think your first branching lesson will be that dangerous." He said as he held Soren with his wing. "Now, don't worry how munch noise you make in the beginning. You just need to stretch your.." He stopped when Soren stretched his wings and flew from father and Kludd to another branch. "wings."
Soren landed on branched carefully and made it with a smile on his face. This reacts to his father.
(Father smile): "Well done." but for Kludd.
(Kludd): "Beginner's luck." Then he took off, flapping his wings crazy, then he landed next to Soren but his left talon landed on a stick the stick broke, Kludd gasped in horror that he almost fell but luckily the stick fell into the void. Kludd and Soren both say "Whoa." when they see a void.
(Soren): "You know, Kludd, it helps when I picture where I'm gonna land." he looked at Kludd. "Come on, I'll race you!"
(Kludd): "Okay. Go!" Then Kludd left off first flapping crazy while Soren left off second carefully landing on a branch that their father landed waiting for them and to hollow Soren landed first and Kludd landed second.
Soren laughs in victory while Kludd is not happy.
(Kludd): "Yeah, you had a head first."
(Soren): "No, I didn't!"
(Kludd): "Yeah, you did. Da he cheated-" Then argue between Kludd and Soren stopped by their mother in the hollow.
(Mother): "Boys. No more fighting. Let's get the boys inside. It's time to go." she said to her husband
(Soren): "Can we come with you on the hunt?" he asked.
(Father): "Not tonight. But when the time comes at least you'll have the helmet for it." He said as he put the leaf helmet on Soren's head. Soren looked at his mother and she smiled. Kludd chuckles while he and Soren walk to the hollow.
(Kludd): "Nice Helmet." as he touched Soren's wing with his wing.
(Soren): "Get off." He shaked.
(Mother): "Boys." she said seriously then the boys left. Then Mother looked at her husband with a worried face.
(Mother): "Noctus," She revealed the husband's name " I know Soren's a bit of a dreamer. Do you worry for him?" she said.
(Noctus): "Oh, I worry for both of them. Seems like yesterday they were hatchlings and now, well, you know, they'll soon be grown and leaving the hollow. I just want them to be prepared." he said then his wife smiled.
(Mother): "Mmm. They'll be fine." her husband smiled.
(Mother): "Come on." she said then they both left their home and went hunting some mice together.
In hollow.
The little sister of both brothers Eglantine is gagging that something is coming out from her throat. Soren and Kludd saw her.
(Soren): "Eglantine, are you all right?" he said worriedly the snake that was still in hollow replied to Soren.
(Snake): "Oh. it's all right, dear." she replied. "If it wants to come out, let it." as a snake talking to Eglantine, something came out from Eglantine's beak and it landed on the floor.
(Snake): "There you go."
(Soren): "Eg, that is gross!"
(Kludd): "Quite an achievement."
(Eglantine): "What is it?" she with a little scared face.
(Snake): "It's your first pellet." the snake answered.
(Eglantine): "First? You mean there'll be more?" She worried.
(Snake): "Don't you recognize it, Eg? It was the mouse you ate. It's for and bones, anyway. Every owl yarps up pellets but humans don't because they're not your kind and owls' kind, they're special kind. In fact, I think I might have your brother's first pellets." But Soren and Kludd react.
(Kludd and Soren): "No, No!"
(Snake): "Maybe you'd like to see them?"
(Soren): "No. Oh, Mrs. P, not again. please." he revealed the snake's name.
(Mrs. P): "Oh, come on, dear. Such a big night for this tree. First branching, first pellet." she said as she used her body to move Eglantine to nest. Eglantine burps.
(Eglantine): "Excuse me."
Meanwhile to Soren and Kludd.
(Soren): "Kludd, do you want to go out and try some more branching?" He asked.
(Kludd): "What? So you can go out there and show off again?" He asked, "I don't think so."
(Soren): "Oh, maybe you're right. Maybe we should just... I don't know, stay inside and play Battle of the Ice Claws again?" After he said Kludd had eyes widened, he changed to a mad look, and he growled.
A few minutes later.
Kludd is outside flapping his wings and landing on a branch then Soren lands second next to him.
(Soren): "Kludd? Could I just show you how? Without you being so angry?" He asked kindly.
(Kludd): "All right. Show me how." He said as he tried to change his anger.
(Soren): "Well, before I leap I picture myself standing on a great cliff with the Guardians, ready for battle." For Kludd he sighed and shook his head. "We leap down, floating silently like Lyze of Kiel. The air's just carrying us as we-" he was interrupted by his brother pushing his back.
(Kludd): "That's enough!" Soren gasped and accidentally hit his brother, they grunted they fell to the void, they're trying to use their talons to hold the branch but it was too late they both fell to the void while yelling.
Soren opened his wings to slow him down he chuckled but when he hit the nearby branch he fell fast and landed on the forest floor on his back, then Kludd landed on the floor same on his back.
"Kludd, are you okay?" Soren said as his head got up to see Kludd.
"Oh no." Kludd said as he looked around.
Soren got up he looked everywhere "We're on the ground." he said.
"We can't be here. It's- It's-" Kludd said as he got up too. The brothers are close together.
"This is the worst place for an owl." Kludd said.
"Yeah. No, no. It's weird down here" Soren said as he looked up.
"No. We gotta get back. We can't be here." Kludd said
"You know, if we could just make it to that branch" Soren looked up to find any nearby branch. "Then we could climb our way up."
Kludd thinks it's a bad idea, looking up and Soren.
"Yeah, here, let's see." Soren said as he flapped his wings he went up slowly this surprised Kludd that he looked at Soren flapping his wings, but he didn't make it and landed on the floor again.
"Shh! Quiet!" Kludd said to Soren as Soren got up. Kludd tried to talk but they heard a rustling sound nearby they looked east. Hearing something growling.
"What was that?" Kludd said.
Then a giant rat jumped from a dead tree and ran to Soren and Kludd, it roared, and Soren and Kludd screamed in terror, the rat started chasing Kludd, and Kludd ran. The rat scratches Kludd's back and forces him to lie back on the floor the rat puts its paw on Kludd's chest.
"Soren!" Kludd cried.
"Kludd" Soren shouted then he came from nowhere to bite the rat's ear the giant rat went crazy shaking to get Soren off it. When Soren stopped biting its ear it going to bite Soren's chess but Soren was forced to push and hit on a tree wall.
"Kludd! Kludd!" Soren cred but Kludd was hiding on a tree branch. Soren looked at the giant rat, it was hungry and ready to eat Soren but no, the other adult owl came from the sky the rat looked up the owl struck the rat's chess with its talons forcing it to ground and the owl is going to finish it. Soren got off from tree wall but the other owl grabbed Soren with both talons, Soren screamed, and flew to the sky. The owl that killed the rat found Kludd grabbed him too and flew to the sky.
The white-colored owl that grabs Soren and the red-colored owl that grabs Kludd are not going to the brother's home but they are going somewhere else.
"Where are you taking us," Soren asks to the owls. 'Our home is that way." but they don't listen and their home is getting smaller and smaller.
Sore looked up to see the owl that grabbed him. "You can't do this!" but the red-colored owl that grabbed Kludd came to him and threatened him "Keep your mouth shut or I'll shut it for you."
"What'd you think, Jutt?" the kidnapper asked his partner.
"The "I'll shut it for you" part?" Jutt asked.
"No, not that. My evil stare. Benn working on it for weeks." the kidnapper answered.
"Oh. I missed it. Let's see." Jutt said.
So the kidnapper opened his right eye wide and made like ugly face.
"Impressive." Jutt said.
"You like it?" the kidnapper asked.
"Yeah." Jutt said. "You know, your evil stare reminds me a little of my "Intimidator"."
"Yeah?" Kidnapper said.
"I raise one eyebrow tuck in my chin and-" Before Jutt finished.
"Who are you?" Soren asks those kidnappers.
"Hey! No questions. No "whos," no "whats," no "whys." You see soon enough." Jutt said to Soren.
The kidnapper flew away from Soren.
"What do you think? Did that evil stare seem forced or natural?" he said to his partner
"Completely natural," Jutt said.
"Oh, thanks." Kidnapper said.
"let me go!" Kludd shouted as he shook and bit the kidnapper's talons to force him to let him go.
"OW!" Kidnapper shouted after getting bit by Kludd and let go. Kludd fell to the water fell.
"Kludd!" Soren shouted.
The kidnapper sighed in frustration.
Kludd screamed when he still falling he was almost close to the water but then the same kidnapper came to him, grabbed his talons, and flew up to his partner.
"Strong beak, that one" the kidnapper said to his partner about Kludd.
"Yeah? Well, they'll put that to good use." Jutt said then they both laughed instead of Soren and Kludd.
Then Soren thinks it's hopeless, then everything is black.
Somewhere close to the border between Pure One and the Kingdom of Tytos.
There is a convoy of 6 Humvee cars escorting in the middle of the convoy are 3 FMTV trucks are driving through the dirt road. They are carrying something classified inside 3 trucks and being escorted by 6 Humvees.
Inside one of the Humvees behind the third truck, there are 3 humans, American PMC soldiers, who are listening to music while driving (A Wanderer by Dion). One is a driver named George who has black skin, one is next to George named John, and finally on the back is named William. Then someone talking on the radio.
"Gentlemen, what's going on there?" radio with a male voice, the soldiers caught their attention, and George turned off the music.
"We're fine sir, but I had no contact here sir." The George said.
"You boys better not take a break or I'll gonna kill you," Radio said.
"Yep, yep." 3 soldiers said then radio off.
"So, William do you got your wife and children in your head?" George said but focus on driving.
"I do I've been in the military for 7 months," William replied.
"I might be agreed you-" John said but Humvee stopped George stopped the car because the truck stopped in front of them.
"Hey, what's going on front there?" George said to the radio.
"I got someone, owl blocked us with his truck," Radio replied with a different voice.
"On it," George replied then he started the car to pass the convoy and made it to the front, another soldier was ordering the human-sized barn owl on the truck to move
"You can't be here sir, you need to move now." The soldier said to the owl, the owl hesitated and suspended.
"Do you think that must be Pure One?" George asked William.
"Or civilian. Maybe we should do what our colonel said." William as he got out of the window pulled out an M4 Carbine while George and John did the same like William. But then the surprise came that several owls came from the sky and landed with dark helmets.
"The Hell!" The soldier shouted then the other with a dark helmet owl landed on him with talons.
"Back up!" William shouted and fired his gun at the attackers, George reversed the car from front to back while more owls ambushed the convoy.
"What the Hell is going on here boys?!" Radio said.
"Sir, We got more owls with dark helmets, and red eyes ambushing our convoy!" George shouted to replied the radio.
"Pure Ones dammit! I need air support to support the convoy right now." the radio said but another voice on the radio.
"Negative destroy them by using bullets." another voice said on the radio.
"General, they need our help!" Commander's voice said.
"You are my help now fix this!" General's voice said.
While George is revering his car William kills 7 incoming Pure Ones flying toward them raising their battle claws on their talons. Until another truck rams on other Humvees, 7 humans jumped surprised from truck armed with AK-47s firing on PMCs vehicle including George, John, and William's.
"ВПЕРЕД, ВПЕРЕД! И помогите Чистым! (GO GO GO! And assist Pure Ones!)" Other humans but not Americans shouted in Russian.
"Commander! This is George we got Russian PMCs assisting Pure Ones I repeated Russians are assisting Pure Ones!" George said to the radio and reversed his car fast from the truck.
"General! My men are in danger they need our help!" Colonel said on the radio.
"Commander I want you and your men to kill them with bullets and guns now! Do not lose those missiles!" General said on the radio.
Then RPG's rocket came from nowhere can hit George's car and everything was black.
A few seconds later.
William got up the car was upside-down he saw George and John dead in front.
"Dammit!" William said, then he looked at the side door he saw a truck carrying a container but he saw 3 human-sized barn owls they were Pure Ones, and the other humans on the side of Pure Ones were Russian PMCs they surrounded the container.
"Crap!" William said he saw a Glock 19 and radio on the floor outside of the car. He crawls to the outside his left arm and grabs the Glock a Pure One owl grabs William's left arm, and William looks up to see Pure One's helmet and 2 red eyes.
"Does everyone copy?" The commander on the radio said William looked at the radio but a human Russian PMC came from nowhere, crouched, and grabbed the radio.
"Graves!" William shouted. "They got a-" Before he finished, the Russian shot him with an AK-47 and everything went black.
