Rita's Moonbase (Flashback)
In the Moonbase the lair of Rita Rapulsa, the ship (the same ship that appeared from chapter 1), has finally arrived and landed. The cockpit opened revealing to be Vilgax. "Welcome, Vilgax conqueror of 10 worlds, I'm glad you finally accepted my offer for an alliance," Rita Rapulsa greeted him. The others who joined her were Goldar, her loyal general, Squat and Baboo, the dimwitted duo, Scorpina, her second general, and Finster the monster maker. "Indeed, but don't forget the deal Rapulsa, you said you would give me this power from the morphin grid to make me as powerful as the Dagon, as long as I help you destroy the power rangers and conquer the world," Vilgax threatened her, seriously. "Be patient Vilgax, You'll have the power of the Morphing Grid soon," Rita replied, showing no fear. Vilgaxed groaned in frustration, than he went inside of the ship and brought out a tube with a small energy source inside, "this is sub-energy, a power source that is said to destroy an entire planet, but this this combined with the morphing Grid, it could do more than destroy the entire planet!" Vilgax Explained.
Rita was impressed. "Indeed, very well then first before i'll make the power coin, i must find Ninjor, the maker, so in the meantime i'll give the first douce of the morphing grid energy to my generals, and your recruited members, they will be perfect test subjects before you shall have it Vlgax." Rita explained. "Very well then," Vilgax had sent 5 of Ben's enemies to an area, this included, Charmaster, Rojo, SixSix, Khyber the Huntsman, and Albedo, to a area (Much like a area where Jason fought Goldar and Tommy,) and Finster took the sub-energy from Vilgax and went to work creating new source, from the combination of the Sub-Energy and the Morphing Grid. The power became more powerful than finster expected. "There, the new power combined from the sub energy and the morphing grid is complete," Finster said. Then Scorpina took it from Finster, and he followed.
"Welcome, I am Goldar, the powerful general, and today my empress Rta Rapulsa had made a powerful energy, made from the power source from the sub energy, along with the morphing Grid!" Goldar explained. "You will all, including me and Scorpina, will gain this power. It will grant you ultimate power to destroy your enemy, Tennyson, and my enemies, the rangers, Ready Scorpina?" He asked. "You damn, straight." Scorpina replied and she applied it into a system, much like a sprinkler, and the energy came into the 5, including Goldar and Scorpina, however Finster hid and tried to avoid it. Each of the 5 villains were in pain, as they never experienced the morphing grid, each had veins popping out, as most them had unique properties coming out, Charmcaster's eyes glowed, Albedo's ultimatrix regained energy, as the veins from his arm was popping with power, Rojo's Machine parts were sparkling, SixSix had roared in pain while his helmet was shining, and apart of Khybers armor was breaking a little, as for Goldar they never felt the power of the sub-energy but instead of groaning in pain, they enjoyed, as they knew they would gain this power!
The Command Center (present)
The scene returns, with the rangers and the plumbers back in the command center, where they were still recovering from their last battle. "Zordon, what kind of power was that, i've never felt something like that one before" Jason asked "It is something beyond my imagination, somehow Rita Rapulsa had use the essence from Tommy's Power Coin, and stored the power of the morphin grid with another source i couldn't recognize." Zordon explained. "I did," Ben joined in, "that felt like a sub-energy power source, it's a power source that is said to destroy planets," he explained. "I thought, you destroyed it?" Kevin was puzzled. "Yes, however, there was a second sub energy core at the plumber HQ." Rook told Kevin. "Plumber? So what do you guys do on your own in your worlds, fixing sinks and unclogging Toilets?" Zack asked sarcastically. Ben rolled his eyes in frustration because he had heard that joke many times, "The Plumbers in my world are an intergalactic police force to deal with any extraterrestrial criminals, even dangerous technology to conquer our worlds, alien or not." Ben replied to Zack's question. "Interesting," Billy joined in. "I think there's a police force like that in our world too, however they're called Space Patrol Delta, or SPD for short, but there isn't a base on earth until the near future, I've done a little research on that," He said. "Rangers, if what Ben said is true, then we are dealing with no ordinary threat that is coming, I fear it won't be enough. So i suggest you all train to be prepared for this fight, i'll let you know when your next mission will start soon," Zordon said.
Angel Grove park
The next scene takes place in the park where Jason, Zack, and Ben were playing basketball, while Billy, Trini, Rook, Gwen and Kevin were watching. "I do not understand, how is this training and getting prepared?" Rook asked. "Sometimes a little game could be the best warm up," Trini answered. However Rook was still confused. After Ben scored a point, the group then settled down to cool off. "Hey you're not bad Ben," Zack complained. "Thanks, it took a little practice from another guy I met a while back," Ben said. "So I have a question, how did you get that alien watch thing?" Jason asked. "Same thing with you becoming rangers?" Ben asked.
"While on an ordinary day, astronauts accidentally released Rita Rapulsa from a dumpster that was planning on conquering Earth, Zordon saw this catastrophe and recruited us to be the next power rangers. We Didn't think anything about it, until when we morphed we decided to join the fight against Rita Rapulsa and protect the planet at all cause," Jason explained. "However, Tommy was the trump card as her own Green Ranger to kill us, however we managed to break the spell and he joined our team," Billy also said about Tommy.
"When I was 10 years old, during a camping trip, A meteorite fell down right in an area when I was walking. Then when I checked it out it looked more like a satellite, then it opened revealing the first model of the omnitrix, and for no reason it jumped onto my wrist. Originally it was intended for my Grandpa, but it also recognizes my DNA, connecting to him. Ever since then my life changed, i decided to use my omnitrix to protect the Universe, i've made allies, Gwen started learning to use magic, Kevin, like Tommy, was also Evil, no magic spell involved, but he later became a great friend to have, we still kind off have a small rivalry some times, but the Rook came and tagged along during my missions, we are a special team as the plumbers," Ben said.
"Some life we all had, I bet it's not easy being normal," Jason said. "I guess, but normal is a little overrated," Ben replied, then everyone Laughed, except Rook who looked confused. "I don't get it." He says. "I guess you'll find out," Kevin says. "I don't know, I don't think either of us were not asking to become super heroes, but I don't think it won't be easy for us." Kimberly said. "Well not to me, I was kind of bullied once, and they were bullying other kids, and all I ever wanted was to help people, so becoming the alien superhero is kind of a big chance for me," Ben said. "And he had taken that job responsibility, more or less, but I do love my powers, but I also love being me most of the time. It's kind of like juggling between being normal and being a hero," Gwen said. "Being a ranger is also a responsibility even coming from the challenges we always protect the innocents, that's why we always be prepared for greatness." Jason said, sounding as a true leader.
Suddenly the rangers power communicators had the iconic beeping sound, telling them they got a notification. "Looks like we got in trouble," Jason said. Everyone gathered around Jason and he answered. "Zordon, What is it?" he asked. "Rangers, we found a huge energy source coming down at the abandoned mansion at down angel grove, it seems that Rita Rapulsa has sent Goldar and Scorpina, along with their allies to send off on a wild goose chase, be careful whatever Rita and Vilgax are Planning, be alert and let the power protect you," Zordon said. "Got it, Rangers, are you ready," he said while also looking around for anyone watching. "Ready!" the four said. "What about you guys?" Jason asked the four. "We're ready," Ben said. Alright, then IT'S MORPHING TIME!" Jason shouted. "And IT'S HERO TIME TOO!" Ben shouted.
"MASTODON!" Zack Shouted
"PTERODACTYL!"Kimberly Shouted
"TRICERATOPS!" Billy Shouted
"SABER TOOTHED TIGER!" Trini Shouted
"TYRANNOSAURUS!" Jason Shouted and they became Power Rangers.
Ben was prepared with his omnitrix, Gwen transformed into her alter ego Lucky Girl, Kevin went into his Rooters outfit, and Rook prepared his proto-tool.
The Rangers along with the Plumbers teleported to the abandoned mansion. "Alright everyone, stay alert, we don't know what they are planning!" Jason said. "Right, even our world's enemies are here too," Rook replied. They were all walking down slowly at the asylum. "This place gives me the creeps!" Kimberly said. "I've seen more creepier things like this!" Kevin said. Suddenly, Scorpina jumped out of the window of the 5 story room and into a pillar, she then gave a grieving grin.
"Welcome Rangers, and Welcome little Plumbers," She said in a mischievous way. "Scorpina! Why pick this place for a wild goose chase?!" Zack asked. "Simple, it's no goose chase, it's a hostage take over!" Scorpina said. "Hostage take over?" Trini asked. "That's right, our new friends realized that 2 plumber officers followed them, so we decided to take it as an advantage to kidnap them to use them as bait." Scorpina replied. "They've got 2 plumbers as hostages, we need to save them." Rook said. "If you want them, come find them, if you dare," she said as she vanished through the thin air.
After Scorpina vanished, the Omni team and the Rangers were looking around the mansion. "Damn! Looks like this place is like a maze to find those hostages," Kevin noted. "Then how are we gonna find them?" the black ranger asked. That's when Jason got an idea. "We'll split into groups of four!" The Red ranger explained. "Right, that way we cover more ground!" Rook commented on the idea. "Then let's do it then!" Ben said as he dialed his omnitrix for an alien and activated for a bat-like alien multiple eyes around the body, except the face. "Eye Guy?" Eye Guy groaned. "For one time, 'Eye' wanted Rath!" he said in frustration. Billy got confused on the name because it sounds like the monster finster made called Eye Guy. Then the Group Split into four, the Red Ranger with Eye Guy, Rook with the Blue Ranger, the Black Ranger with Kevin, and the Girls with Gwen, and they went four ways around the abandoned mansion.
Eye Guy and Jason had started heading north. They were trying to be alert for any ambush from any villains, including finding the Plumber hostages. "What's the big deal about that lady from that entrance?" Eye Guy asked the Red ranger. "That was Scorpina, Ben. she's Rita's second general and as dangerous as Goldar." He explained. "Huh, 'Eye' never thought she could be very dangerous." he said as he chuckled, which annoyed the Red Ranger. Suddenly Missiles came rocketing towards the two. "Ben lookout!" Jason Warned. "Woah!" Eye Guy ducked just as the missiles came closer, but thankfully he dodged and it created a huge fog. Then a giant ankylosaurs themed Giant was coming and the fog cleared, it was Albedo as Ultimate Humungousaur. "Got you now Tennyson!" Ultimate Humungousaur came in. "Is he your twin?" The Red Ranger asked. "Not exactly, that's Albedo! He wields a device similar to the omnitrix, but he can also evolve them calling it an ultimate form." Eye Guy explained. "he, and now with the power of the morphing grid with my evolved alien powers, Azimuth will fear me soon when I show him the true smartest being of the Galaxy! After you and the Rangers are removed!" Ultimate Humungousaur said, then he started shooting more missles. Jason and Eye Guy were trying to damage the evolved Vaxisaurian but due to its power of the morphin grid, it doesn't seem to be damaged, just leaving tiny scratches. "Damn! The morphing Grid doesn't seem to do any damage!" Jason said in frustration. "Eye caramba, if we could try to hit 'em harder than lasers," then he got an idea. "Wait, I know!" he said as he slammed his omnitrix on his belt, transforming him into Diamondhead. "You got a plan?" Red Ranger asked. "You Bet. Let's take this Jackass down! Follow my lead." Diamondhead replied. Then DiamondHead used his crystallokinesis to create a small pillar of crystals. Jason noticed the idea and brought out his blade blaster and used it to blast the pillar. Like the magnifying glass, the laser was housed around inside the pillar, then it created a huge laser that hit Ultimate Humungousaur, right in the face. This caused Ultimate Humungousar to crash in the Walls. "Nice one!" The Red Ranger complicated the petrosapien. "Thanks Man, I thought of using alien power with a little morphing grid fire to take down Albedo!" Diamondhead returned the complement and explained the idea. "And it worked, but right now let's find those hostages!" Jason told him. "You're right let's go!" Jason and Diamondhead started running and continuing to go north, however Ultimate Humungousaur got up from his consciousness and then started to follow Both the Red Ranger and Diamondhead.
Lucky girl and the Ranger Girls have taken east. They were being cautious of their surroundings if any villains ambushed them. Then the three girls went inside of a room where floating books and furniture were floating around. "What the hell?" Trini got confused about their surroundings. "Gwen what is this?" Kimberly asked Lucky girl. "This is magic from Leggerdomain!" Lucky Girl reapplied to the Pink Ranger. "And i'm guessing if there's magic here than…" just as Lucky girl was about to finish a voice came in. "hey…Gwendy!" It turns out Charmcaster was waiting for the girls to enter the room. "Charmcaster! I should've known!" Gwen said with anger. "That's right, you may be a sorceress right now, but with the power of the morphing grid I am Invincible!" she said as she started firing magic to the girls, but they managed to dodge and they started attacking, Lucky girl was firing mana spheres, Kimberly started using her power bow to fire arrows at Charmcaster. However Charmcaster used magic to create a shield against the mana and arrows. "My turn now!" Trini said as she prepared her Power Daggers. "Ahh the girl in Yellow, i got a special spell for you! Misiopatrum!" Charmcaster casted a spell on Trini. "Huh what are you…Gah!" she got hit by the magic. Then all of the sudden she started hallucinating the rangers near the cliff. "Oh no! Watch out!" Trini tried to warn her but then the putties destroyed the cliff causing the rangers to fall. "NOOOO!" Trini cried and she started to get angry. "You pay for this!" She got prepared and started fighting the putties. However, what she didn't know was that she was actually fighting against Lucky Girl and the Pink Ranger. "Trini stop! it's me!" Kimberly tried to calm the Yellow Ranger, but she was still lashing out. Charmcasted chuckled evilly and then said "Who needs to fight together when you could fight, Eachother!" "Kim, it's Charmcaster, she's doing this!" Gwen told Kimberly. The pink ranger looked at Charmcaster and came up with a plan. "Gwen could use your mana type of power to get me to Charmcaster?" she asked. "Yeah, Why?" Luckygirl was puzzled. "Because I'm about to land a perfect score." she said as she pointed at Charmcaster. Lucky girl finally understood the plan and she started to create mana boards, then Kimberly then started using her gymnastics to land on the boards which she used to get close to Charmcaster. "What are you…" Just as Charmcaster was about to finish, Kimberly kicked her in the face. "Gah!" Charmcaster got knocked out by Kimberly's kick which gave her a black eye and a bloody nose. Then the magic then faded and the spell that Trini had was finally fading, bringing her back into her transe. "Nice Gymnastics, Kimberly! Do you happen to know any Judo as well?" Lucky Girl asked. "Kind off but I would love to give it a try sometimes." She replied. Then Trini was groaning in pain. "Trini!" Kimberly ran to the Yellow Ranger. "It's okay, I got you!" Kimberly tried to comfort her. "It was scary!" Trini said. "The others, even you, were killed by the putties i-i couldn't save you and…" just as she was gonna finish. "The spell has affected your mind, but don't worry, you'll be acting yourself again!" Lucky girl said to comfort Trini. "Come on, we need to find the hostages!" "ah…Okay," Trini said. The girls went off to another room to find the plumber hostages.
Zack and Kevin taken west to find anything around this maze. "So what is that little thing you do again with your dancing?" Kevin asked. "I call it my hip hop-kido, a combo of hip-hop and kido," Zack explained. "Uhhhh, Not really the best name idea for that!" Kevin said. Soon enough they made it into the office area to the next room however they then came across Rojo who is now hooked up to wires and a machine now. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the calvary!" Rojo taunted. "Rojo!" Kevin shouted. "You again!" Zack said. "You know, I wasn't too fond about having alien technology hooked up into my body, until now," Rojo explained. "Now with the power of alien technology and the morphing grid, I feel double juiced!" She begins to attack. Zack and Kevin became alerted and prepared to battle when Rojo tried to attack them, however with their luck Rojo can't reach them! Because of how far the wires she was hooked up to could barely reach the doors. "So she can't reach?" Zack asked. "She can't reach!" Kevin said. "Pass through?" Zack asked? "Pass through!" Kevin reapplied. Both Zack and Kevin easily walked sideways to the next doors while Rojo was trying to reach and attack them. "Later Cyborg chick!" Zack said as he and Kevin entered the next room. "Oh come on!" Rojo shouted in anger.
Rook and Billy taken south being prepared for any villain attacks or the hostages that they've taken. "So what were those creatures that you faced off against with that Gold Primate and that creepy girl?" Rook asked the Blue Ranger. "They're called putties, and despite their intimidation, they are very easy to beat, even without our powers," Billy explained. "Putties huh? Not a very creative name," Rook said, then suddenly out of nowhere, a bunch of lasers at them, they managed to dodge in time. "Billy, are you alright?!" Rook said as he got a little worried as the lasers that almost hit them. "Affirmative, but what was that?" He asked Rook. Rook looked at the one who shooted the lasers and it was none other than SixSix. "That is SixSix one of the most dangerous bounty hunters in the known Galaxies!" Rook explained. "Now that's an unthoughtful name!" Billy said as he was annoyed. Then Sixsix went to battle against Rook and Billy. Despite having numbers, Sixsix was winning due to the power of the morphing grid and his skills as a bounty hunter. Soon enough SixSix pinned Billy to a wall and he was going to shoot him in the head. "Oh, Crap!" Billy got worried knowing what's gonna happen. Luckily Rook used his staff from the prototool and knocked down Sixsix unconscious which he released Billy. Billy sighed in relief and said, "Thanks for the Save Rook!" "I'm Glad you're alright Billy!" Rook replied "Now come, we have plumbers to rescue!" Rook and Billy continued heading south to find the room where the hostages were.
