I'm sorry that this isn't an update. I've been having major writer's block, plus I've been busy with work and finishing college. I'm finding it hard to find that groove for writing a great deal in one sitting. My brain is all over the place lately. And weirdly, has been acting odd. I haven't seen the view counts on my page in months. This website has always been pretty glitchy. I'll try to get to this story as soon as I can find the groove. It's really this next chapter that is getting me. I promise, after this one, they will start rolling in because I have some of them written a while ago 'cause they were fun ;).

Till then, let's chat for a bit.

One day, I was scrolling through Instagram and came across a fan fiction idea for Piper that would make her story better. A lot darker, though, but better. The idea is about Piper using her Charmspeak more on monsters until she starts using it on her friends. After one of them nearly died because of something she said inadvertently, she refused to talk for days. At the climax, where they face Gaea, Piper tells her to stop breathing, but Jason also hears that. Grief-stricken, she leaves Camp Half-Blood, angry at her mother and the gods for giving her this dangerous power, so she decides to use the power to raise a new rebellion. Piper becomes the next Luke.

I'm not doing it justice by describing it, and I can't remember who wrote this idea, but I don't want to look for it. It's hard searching for something specific on Instagram.

Did you guys read the Chalice of the Gods? It's great! If you haven't yet, I recommend an audiobook channel on YouTube called "Listening Library."

Percy already has one god's recommendation letter; now, he needs two more. Since Rick is already working on the second book, I have an idea for the third god to give Percy a letter. Now hear me out, it's kinda crazy…. Since the Roman emperors Nero, Commodus, and Caligula gained godlike power through mortals, what other historical figures could obtain such a structure? I was in Washington, DC, not too long ago and marveled at all of the Greco-Roman architecture and artwork. In the Rotunda of the Capital Building, there were paintings of the early days of America, and the guide said that the scenes were "Romanized." And the painting on the ceiling of the dome depicted George Washington with Bellona, Minerva, Neptune, Mercury, and Vulcan. Also, there is a big statue of him dressed like a Roman. Do you see where I'm going with this?

What if George Washington gained godhood and helps Percy give him his last letter? It's not too crazy. It is canon that Washington was a demigod. Tell me what you guys think.

Lastly, on my Instagram page, I've been posting parts of a new story to establish myself as a writer. It's called The Bluefox and the Greywolf. It is meant to be a prequel/preview to the book I've been writing. So, if you have Instagram, follow me wclcooke and leave likes and comments to help build my profile.
