Annabeth

"What?!" I exclaim, jumping out of my chair, my heart beating faster than a hummingbird's wings. "Luke's alive?!" Percy grabs my hand and squeezes it.

"You remember Calypso, Percy?" Leo asks. I look over at my husband, who blushes a little bit, but from memories of the island or from anger over her curse in Tartarus I don't know.

"Yes, I remember her." He says stiffly. Anger.

"Well I got sent to her island. It was supposed to be a trap I couldn't get out of, but I guess Kihonie didn't realize her curse was more or less broken. I met Luke there. Calypso also used some kind of magic mirror to show me Echo. She's given up on Narcissus. At the end of all this, I'm going back for her. Until then, Hazel sketched me a picture of her. It's keeping me going until the end of all this"

"That's awesome, Leo. I'm really happy for you. Luke's really with Calypso?" I ask. Leo nods.

"He was excited to find out I knew both of you. It's supposed to be a secret, but at the end of the Titan war when he died, they couldn't quite figure out what to do with him in the Underworld. On one hand, he died a hero and saved the world. On the other, he had been the main reason the world was in danger in the first place, and if you sent him to Elysian there are a lot of people waiting there that wouldn't be happy about it. He didn't deserve Asphodel or the fields either though. And on some level, the Olympians did believe he should be rewarded. After all he did they couldn't just send him back into the world though. So, they came up with Ogygia. Percy's demand that Calypso be released from her curse fit well with this, because she's still a titan who sided with the titans in the first war, so they didn't want to let her off the Island. But her real curse was loneliness. So they sent her Luke. Now both of them are mortal on the island. They both will eventually die and be judged for everything, and by then hopefully everything will have calmed down in the underworld. Their kids can still leave the Island when they grow up. Calypso finally has someone who she loves and loves her that won't leave." He smiles an impish grin. "They're getting along great. Calypso was even expecting a baby."

"That's amazing!" I say, excitement flooding my body. Luke's alive. Safe. In love. Going to be a father. I'm still sad that if he's on Ogygia I'll never get to see or speak to him again. I tried Iris Messaging Percy to see if he was alive while he was there when we were 14, they don't go through to that phantom island. But Leo's word is enough.

"So I'm actually not supposed to tell anyone about this. But I figured you two deserve to know. Please don't tell anyone else. I kinda had to swear an oath on the styx it wouldn't go past the two of you."

"Got it." Percy says. I look over and he's smiling again. "Lips are sealed."

"I wish I could tell his siblings. But I understand. My mouth's shut too."
