It had been two years since Frisk had freed the monsters from the Underground, but humans in Ebott City just weren't accepting monsters. One day in May, Toriel and Asgore took Flowey and Frisk out for ice cream. Frisk got vanilla and Flowey got mint chocolate chip. The adults decided to tell the kids something very important.
"Frisk and Flowey, Asgore and I have been discussing life for monsters on the surface, and we have decided that Ebott City will never be accepting of our kind."
"Where will we go?" Frisk asked, looking concerned.
"England." Asgore replied.
"Will you be living with us?" Flowey asked.
Asgore sighed deeply. Before he could say anything, Frisk knew the answer. "No, but I won't be far. Plus you're mother and I are still taking turns with you kids, so you'll be living with me until June, and you'll be back with me in July."
Frisk nodded sadly. She so wished that Toriel and Asgore could talk it out. Frisk just wanted everyone to be happy.
"Also, Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, and Mettaton will be moving to England with us. So we'll at least have them." Toriel smiled warmly.
"That's true!" Frisk said, suddenly beaming. She was happy about this piece of news. It was nice that they were staying close together.
Flowey raised an eyebrow as he asked "What parts of England are we moving to?"
"I will be moving to Watford, and Sans and Papyrus will be living in Garston." Asgore replied.
"Mettaton, Alphys, and Undyne are going to London and I will be living in Privet Drive." Toriel spoke up.
"I hope everyone will be nicer in the UK than they are here." Frisk said with a frown.
Flowey chuckled darkly as he replied. "Don't worry, I'll make sure of it."
Toriel raised an eyebrow as she looked at Flowey. "You're not planning on using ...extreme methods. are you?"
Flowey shrugged with a dismissive expression on his face. "It depends."
Asgore spoke with caution in his voice as he asked "It depends on what, Flowey?"
"It depends on how stupid people in the UK are."
"Flowey!" Toriel exclaimed, appalled by Flowey's rudeness.
Frisk then spoke up to calm everyone down. "Look, I'm sure that we'll be fine in England. Even if we aren't, we won't need to hurt anyone to defend ourselves."
"Exactly. Let's just worry about the move for now. We'll make it as smooth as possible." Asgore said in a calm voice.
The move was anything but smooth. Frisk lost a few items which delayed the move. Mettaton's robotic body ran out of battery which prompted an emergency stop so that they could charge him up. Finally the group made it on to the plane. Frisk could see some of the other passengers staring at them with judgmental expressions. Especially after Flowey said some colorful words to an extra judgmental lady. Papyrus's blood pressure rose as Sans did nothing but make puns as things kept going wrong.
"Sans, must you keep making those awful puns?!" Papyrus cried in pure frustration on the plane after Sans made his fifth flying joke.
Sans chuckled as he replied. "Sorry bro. I guess these jokes really like to take off."
Frisk started laughing hysterically as Flowey just groaned.
"Ugh, that was lame!"
"Hey, don't you worry. You'll eventually love my jokes. They're in full flight now." Sans said with a wink.
Papyrus sighed in frustration again. "Can you at least tell a joke about something else?"
"Nope. I'm sorry, but when it comes to airplane jokes, the sky is the limit." Sans chuckled.
"SANS!"
"Quiet down up front!" a man shouted, annoyed with the noise being made.
After a long flight, the monsters eventually made it home into their new country.
"I c-can't wait to settle in L-London. I-It's the h-home city of S-Sherlock H-Holmes! He was a f-famous human d-d-detective! H-He used l-logical r-reasoning a-a-and science to f-find the c-culprits!" Alphys exclaimed, sounding very excited.
"Wait. Was he that detective dude with the hat that had two fronts?" Undyne asked.
"Y-Yeah. H-He's pretty s-smart, huh?" Alphys replied.
"He is, but his fashion sense was horrible! That hat was absolutely ridiculous!" Mettaton exclaimed.
Undyne nodded. "For once, I agree with Mettaton. That has was weird."
Papyrus gasped in surprise. "What are you guys talking about?! That hat and the coat were cool! I'd totally wear that for Halloween!"
"Hehehe, we could call you 'Sherlock Bones', bro." Sans laughed.
"I swear, if you make any jokes about my costume on Halloween, I'll be very unhappy!" Papyrus said crossly.
After a heartwarming hug, the monsters all went their separate ways. Toriel going to Private Drive, Alphys, Undyne, and Mettaton going to London, Sans and Papyrus going to Garston, and Asgore taking Frisk and Flowey to Watford.
"I wonder what English schools are like." Frisk told Flowey as she set up their bedroom.
"Probably prim and proper. Very boring." was his reply.
"Did you go to a fancy school like that?" Frisk asked, feeling intrigued by what his answer could be.
He nodded deep in thought. "Yeah, back when I was ...you know."
Frisk nodded too. "Was it fun?"
"Sort of. It was rough at first. People kind of bullied me back then. They assumed I'd be stuck up since I was the prince of the underground. But Chara stood up for me after Mom and Dad adopted her. After that, no one bothered me. She also made sure to make every day fun for me." Flowey said.
"I bet you miss her." Frisk said with sympathy.
"...Yeah, I do." Flowey admitted.
"I'm sorry, Flowey. I didn't mean to-."
Flowey looked up at her reassuringly. "No, no. It's fine. I know you didn't mean to."
Soon May came to an end and June crept around the corner. Frisk moved from Asgore's address in Watford and into Toriel's house at number 5 Privet Drive. She of course took Flowey with her as her companion. As Toriel drove Frisk to her home, Frisk could see the neighbors over at number 4. Frisk could see a large, beefy man with a thick mustache. The man was walking towards his car as his wife, a blonde haired, thin, and tall woman waved him off. Both the man and his wife glared at Toriel's car, but their eyes grew wide as soon as they saw Frisk and Flowey. No doubt they weren't expecting a human child to be with their monster neighbor. Seeing a living, breathing flower probably shook them to their cores as well.
"Who are those people, Mom?" Frisk asked Toriel as the parked in the driveway.
"Those are the Dursleys, my next door neighbors." Toriel replied.
Frisk looked back at the Dursleys. "Why do they seem so ...upset?"
Toriel exhaled deeply as she thought of the best way to answer the question. Finally she slowly began to speak again.
"They're ...very particular people who like things to be in a particular way. They frown upon things that they deem to be 'unusual'."
"Things such as monsters?" Frisk asked.
Toriel nodded as she glanced back at her neighbors. "Yes, exactly."
Flowey scoffed in annoyance. "Typical humans. No offence, Frisk."
Frisk chose not to take any offence to Flowey's remark. At that moment, a black haired boy wearing glasses walked out of the Dursley's home. He walked into the garden shed and pulled out the lawn mower.
"Who's that?" Frisk asked with interest.
Toriel looked at the boy Frisk was observing. "Oh, that's Harry. He's their nephew. He's a quiet boy, very shy."
Frisk looked back over at Harry who was mowing the lawn. "I think I want to be friends with him. He looks a little sad."
"That's really nice of you, sweetheart." Toriel said as she rubbed Frisk's head with admiration.
Frisk then followed Toriel into the house, carrying Flowey as she did so. Frisk was very excited to talk to Harry after she got settled into Privet Drive.
