A/N: First off this Keenler has a Trigger Warning for self harm scars and talk of it, so don't read unless you can handle it. This isn't a romance oneshot, it's a friendship. I hope you enjoy it, Angels.

She's always had the scars for so long, ever since she was 16, she hadn't thought of her co-workers, hadn't thought what they'd do if they found out she's been a cutter. No one in her life cared about them, not her husband, not her friends in New York, but she doesn't know how her new co-workers in D.C would say to them if they see them so she hides them. In the winter it's easy to hide them with long sleeved t-shirts and sweaters and coats. When summer comes around it's much harder to hide them but she manages until today.

"Ugh, it's so hot." Liz moans as she takes off her cream coloured blazer, revealing the scars. She hears a gasp from her partner, Donald Ressler. She sighs, she's used to the disgusted looks, the looks from strangers. "Don't." Liz says sharply. She doesn't think she can handle the questions or the looks from her partner. "I wasn't going to say anything, Keen. I was just going to ask if you wanted to get some ice cream to cool down." Rolling her eyes at her partner's lie, she nods. "Sure." She says as she puts on her blazer and walks out of The Post Office with her partner.

Walking down the D.C streets with her partner, eating ice cream is nice. They walk in silence, she's glad he's not asked her any questions about her scars like everyone else usually does when they see them. "Keen, I wasn't going to ask anything about them, I was just going to tell you that if you ever get the urge to cut again, I want you to call me and I'll come, day or night, okay?" He asks. Liz smiles as tears well up in her eyes as he finishes his sentence. No one has ever told her that before.

"Thank you, Ressler." She says before she hugs him.
